Try doing this, it should fix it!
(it looks more complicated then it is, it's really easy! if you have any questions feel free to ask)

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4. Find the TheIsle folder. Open it.
5. Open the Saved folder, and go into the Config folder.
6. Open the WindowsClient folder.
7. Delete the Input.ini file (for you it might be called Input)
8. Restart the game.

@simple aurora hm, try this fix. If that doesn't work, try doing exactly the same but delete the Config folder in step 5.
That will reset all your settings, so maybe take a screenshot of your Graphic settings so you can restore them in case something changes.

You could try re-installing EAC, like this:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder
• Then verify the integrity of your game files over steam

It could be, yes. Internet connection, your antivirus suddenly not allowing the isle, graphics card out of date, game files, and other many factors.Thus why a concrete solution isn’t available at the moment, at least to my knowledge.

Well after all that, same problem. I'm trying to use dinos on the AU server because that is the best ping for me. Same thing, max ping, I can play and run around but it's just some kind of huge delay between what I do and what is actually happening in the game.

It must be my internet, I have no idea. Gonna unplug the router and do some network troubleshooting to see if I can correct it.

I can think of 2 more things you could try:

A complete manual re-install:
A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

I have made progress. I did a clean install of both EAC folders. Then gave both Admin in properties. It launched. I notice if i close a immediately re open though it fails. however if I wait a minute or two it will launch. I have launched 5 times now. A few of those launches I logged completely out of steam as well. I want to make sure all background services have ended and nothing thinks its still in the past instance. Seems to be working.

6.) Scroll all the way up, right-click on the folder named "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and go to search
7.) Type in EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete the folder you find.
8.) ......

I wonder if we need reboots in between installs. or yeah the reg. you might not even have it. when i uninstalled the top folder i ran the app in it and unistalled. then deleted everything i saw for it there and then other eos version, %localappdat% for same types of folders. . then i looked at my reg. there was nothing left. So i went back to isle ran the batch install. tried to launch and it failed. then i looked for the eac download ...ran that for game 12 ( oddl i have ran this several times over the last few days and this was the only time I had 12. so odd we both had that)then i gave them admin and it booted. i closed and relaunched and it failed. i closed and exited steam. to completely end session. relaunched from steam not desktop shortcut. and it worked again.

2.) Go to "C: -> Programs(x86)" (or however your main drive is called).
3.) Delete the "EasyAntiCheat" and the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS" folder
(You might not see both Folders at this step! just delete the ones you see)
4.) Press "Windows key" + "R" (or press the windows key)
5.) Type in: regedit and press enter.
6.) Scroll all the way up, right-click on the folder named "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and go to search
7.) Type in EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete the folder you find.
8.) Right Click The Isle in your steam library. Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
9.) Go into the EasyAntiCheat folder, and double-click the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe"
10.) Go to https://easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/service/ and download EAC from there.
11.) Execute the file you downloaded and install EAC
12.) Go back to "C: -> Programs(x86)" and go into both the "EasyAntiCheat" and the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS" folder and give the executable files(the ones with the blue bear symbol) admin rights.
(You do that over right-clicking the file, going to Properties, and then Compatibility. Then check "Run this program as an administrator" and press ok)
13.) Restart your PC

Your language has characters that the game doesn't support. And the game chooses the language of your Windows. You can manually change the language by doing this:
1.) If running The Isle, exit the game.
2.) Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3.) Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4.) Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5.) Open the "Saved" folder, and go into the Config folder.
6.) Open the WindowsClient folder.
7.) Open the "GameUserSettings.ini" (for you it might just be "GameUserSettings")
8.) Scroll to the end, and add this:

9.) save the change and open the game, now see if it's fixed

Find the ones that seem to fit your build and comfort level and attempts those. unfortunately the stopping at splash screen seems to be common with EAC-EOS version.

What GPU do you have? I started having my issues when I put my new GPU in but I think it was just a freak coincidence. I did swap from AMD to Nvidia though, and in the pinned messaged there's a thing about nvidia so I'm not sure if it's a EAC error or nvidia?

It's a Beta, the game isn't optimized well so the lags are either caused by changing tiles, too many people in the area or trying to load in too many carcasses

Yes but like I said the game is in beta, when you were playing before the game still wasn't finished therefore I doubt it met minimum requirements, now it's had a big update, and it's going to have even bigger updates where it will be meeting/going past those minimum specs. It sounds like it's your PC not the game

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

I had GTX 1050 and AMD FX-6100. So not too far from you though yours are better, but they are still below the minimum requirements for Evrima. So I'm quite sure it's because of your specs. :/ As I said, prior to Updates 5 & 6, the game was much easier to run, this is why you and I had no problems with our below-minimum specs. But now the game is asking way more than it used to, and your specs don't keep up.

That's the best thing to do honestly. Even if you wait until they improve performance (which will take several years surely), your current specs will be by then veryyy outdated so even after performance improvement, I doubt this system will be able to run Evrima. You can also look into cloud-gaming platform but for now Evrima is not available on Geforce Now, I don't know for other cloud-gaming platforms.

Yeah this is an issue for a lot of us right now. Unfortunately we have no fix, however we're pretty certain it's an EAC issue. I'm contacting Epic right now to see if they can fix it. The only fix we've found is clean installing windows but nobody really wants to do that

I think Epic is also messing about a bit with EAC at the moment because I noticed the link I used to manually download EAC has been removed now. This has happened within the past couple day. You now have to install EAC through the game files rather than their website

You made sure to run the uninstallanticheat.bat before running the installanticheat.bat in your game files right?

Run it as admin, afterwards run the install one as admin. Then right click The Isle in your library > left click properties > local files > verify

I think it might be related to corrupt Windows files, that usually aren't really affecting much. But in this case are causing trouble.

Try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.
