The first thing I'd do is verify your game files by right clicking the game in Steam, then click Properties, then Local Files, then select Verify integrity of game files. For those unable to join the servers- Servers are currently displaying the wrong population number. If you're being kicked and getting the message that the server is full, it's because it actually is. Please keep trying and you will get a slot in time, there are hundreds of people trying to log into each server at the same time.

I have been having this issue with night vision. since the game updated it doesn't actually give me a key-binding for it. I had the same issue with nesting but through a lot of messing around i was able to resolve it. As you can see in image below, i was told "X" is meant to be the key, however i have 2 control slots taken up as both crouch 😅 can anyone help me?!

Hello, a friend of mine can not start The Isle Evrima anymore.
Each time my friend starts the game, the message "easy anti cheat is not installed" pops up.
It is not possible to manually install EAC, as the setup inside the steam folder will not launch, and the "overall setup" does not find The Isle to install EAC for it.

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

Every time, without fail, if I jump into the river as Pachy heading South towards the NE nesting grounds, it always kicks me out of the server. No error message, nothing. Just boom, straight at the menu again. Any ideas?

yeah ): that seems to be a new issue since the latest update, it's EAC thinking you're cheating and then kicking you from the server.
There's nothing you can do against it at the moment >.< Carno charge and jumping in rivers seems to be the main cause for it

Hello, is there a way to change the resolution settings without being in the game? My friend is having trouble as the settings will not allow his mouse to properly change / apply correct resolution for the game. Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server. No need for coordinates!

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

Have no idea what could be causing it, but whenever i turn my dinosaur or run straight, my dino chops to different locations... It'll teleport around a really small distance. My FPS stays stable around 25-30, and my Ping always stays around 50-150... I've played around with the quality, but nothing makes a different... try restarting your pc, resetting your router, changing wifi channels if unlucky enough to be gaming on wifi, stuff like that

Why does someparts of the map not load for me? sometimes it takes a while for it to load or i will have to relog. Any fixes?

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Seems like a steam issue try this

You can do so by with the following: At the top left of Steam you’ll see a little button labeled “Steam”, left click that and select settings > in-game > and adjust the dropdown menu at the bottom to around 1000. You may need to tinker around and find the magic number that works for you, afterwards simply hit ok and launch The Isle.

Hi, my game isnt launching anymore. It says "running" on steam when I hit play, but after a few seconds it goes back to "play". I've tried launching the game through the "TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe", and the same thing happens. Tried verifying, no change. When I try launching TheIsle(Evrima).exe from the Steamapps folder, it shows me the EAC popup, and closes after a few seconds.
