I spent my first month just dying of starvation and dehydration. Eventually you'll find your group to teach you and you get better. Raptors can be prime in like 3 ish hours if you do it right... Start small

Treat it as a learning experience tbh, find your group, then all the time spent is water under the bridge. Even if you just die as a full grown rex. Restart, and get it right next time

You'd be surprised how many people are actually willing to take you along and just teach the whole game, better to find em and try again than to just give up a game you were enjoying because you died.
