Hey just some good info, when your in-game and you lay down to sleep you have to wait out the timer it will automatically safe-log you out of the server, this way your dino wont be idle in-game for awhile before it disappears instead it will instantly log when the timer is done.
Sometimes you dino will get killed if you hard log from the server if someone by chance happens to see it.

yeah use spawn codes
have your friend paste it in on the dino selection screen at the bottom, "Spawn Code", you'll find the spawn code after one of you spawns in and for a few minutes in your tab menu on group section you'll have a spawn code, give him that and you'll have to accept it on the group tab then he can spawn in nearby to you
