I don't know if this is true for anyone else, but it's the over abundance of apexes that sort of demands you shoot for apex, too, in order to stand a fighting chance. Might not be as much the case when AI is in but there's a definite push to get your own apex to compete.

Longer time growing and its speed and ambush duration need nerfs. If they want it to have that much power it should not be that fast. It would also make it possible for the new survival predators to survive and not just be a free meal upon release (cerato, allo, dilo)

Though Dekerrex has a very valid point. If apexes are removed everyone will just want to be the next strongest thing, which in that case would be trike, but most people want to be carnivores. So I would expect carnos exploding in population again. Unless carno is removed as well since technically it's an apex of speed.

I don't honestly know how much of a difference it would make. Like what's been said, I think everything would just move down a tier. I think if smaller dinosaurs didn't suffer from such poor survivability and apexes weren't so easy to achieve/easy to maintain, it'd probably solve the problem on its own. There's gotta be more than a few people who feel like they only really start playing once they're a grown apex, and bush-sit until that point

If they disable apexes, then everything carnivore wise currently playable in survival is disabled. Utah is the apex of the pounce tree and carno for speed. Then you've got the extra large apexes, giga and rex. But that's only if you follow the old tree model, and I'm not sure that's a thing anymore.

I dunno Darq. I have seen some really shitty doctors and really shitty nurses. Unfortunately we don't know anything about what is going on with Don. Could have been a panic attack, could have been more. I have literally walked into a patient's room at the beginning of my shift to receive report from the offgoing nurse and see a patient who is nearly half dead and the nurse just shrugging
I always tell people if they are in the hospital they need to try to have a friend or family member stay with them. If their family member was there, that patient wouldn't have died to that nurses' negligence
Walked in and I immediately had to call a code
And the doctor that was on that night wasn't even much better. Where the nurse faltered, the doc should have picked up the slack, but they both failed
Not to mention that as a nurse, I cannot tell you how many times I have had to get on certain doctors' asses because they were not doing enough for my patient, fast enough

Inverse Kinematics, is what I think it stands for. It's terrain alignment. The feet and body will adjust to the terrain

IK is when a joint chain on a rig is manipulated by the end joint rather than the first joint in the chain when animating in 3D programs, and also keeps the feet on the ground in game engines. IK handles in programs like Maya don't transfer into game engines so they had to use a separate plugin to make it happen in engine
