To add to the more colors comment. It'd be appreciated if both herbivores and carnivores could have access to all the current colors.
this came to my mind while playing, and its really not that hard to do in terms of coding:
right now the directional audio we listen to is attached to the camera "floating" behind the dino, thats really confusing for a new player like me cuz i immediately assumed we were listening through the dino's ears, per se.
its counter intuitive and not really good in terms of QoL.
i feel like making it so the audio is centered on the dino would be much better all around!
I really hope the recoding balances the battle mechanics especially ass riding. Alt turn is weird and not realistic. Maybe allow dinos to step back or something to counter ass riding, but in the expense of stamina.
add more massive open areas. i miss the plains of herbi rock and utah rock
Please, limit Rexes and Gigas party to 3-2, thats too much when you grow and encounter 6 gigas
Can there be a way to see what dino you have on what server? Its annoying trying to recall what server matches what dino
I think it would be cool after you nest, you can hatch an AI dino and raise it for if you die the gender matches the one dead and you take over it to give a reason to nest and it will help with starting over from the start

Which dino can kill 4 rexes and for gigas? It takes 12 dilos to kill one rex with broken leg. If he uses alt, all dilos will die, if its 4 rexes its unreal, alos and cera won't kill adult rexes and gigas aswell. Thats why i suggested to decrease party to atleast 3. Not mentioning, that in natyre they never walked 5 dinos together
I know maps for dinos are a no, but could we get a way to remember places? GPS markers, or have a "map" that we get as we explore

I'd like to see health effects in the future, such as egg binding that occurs if a female is gestating constantly, poisoning that occur from eating old meat and possible parasites? Would be interesting!

If there is no dino on the server, it wouldn't show anything at all.

Allow herbivores to sniff while walking as carnivores do. To avoid the issue of herbis using this to follow tracks in sport hunting, maybe make it so they dont show up during a walksniff for herbis
I've suggested this before, but it's gotten drowned out I still think its worth considering. Please add in a first person view, It's super annoying how you're going through trees and trying to stalk prey and in order to actually see your whole body has to be out of the tree and gives your position away.
Spawn sites to help friends get together
Suggestion to maybe balance herbivore/carnivore #s and make losing a carnivore less painful: for every 3 hours a player spends on an adult herbivore they get an "extra life" button on dying that they can choose to use or save on any dino when they die, and they stack to 3 or so; using it would respawn the dino that just died, at a different spawn point but the same age/size it was. Maybe 2 character slots to balance it, so people can have herbis & carnivores both and swap between them
Skin system for hypos once they're playable
My friend was talking about wanting it to be possible to go into your options and tick a box so it automatically grows you when you hit 100 percent. I found it dumb but he really wants it.
Suggestion: if and when the game is launched to have some events like April fools wich u can then do something crazy just for a day like a dryo buff to the point it can defend itself against a trex pack and survive (buff Dryo to 8k health and weight and give it 1560 raw and 75 bleed) this would make for some hilarious gameplay in the future. This is just a suggestion for after the game is launched not for now. Those sweet juicy stats have been given by @primal charm
New hit box area: jaw
When jaw broke it limits jaw attack(carnivores)
Add the ability to view the basic stats (Health, Attack, Speed, Stamina, Agility, Weight, Regeneration, Defense, and growth time), aswell as the gimmicks of each dinosaur to the selection screen.
This would motivate newer players think more when picking their first dinosaur, instead of immediate gravitating torwards t-rex cause. "It's a t-rex, so it must be the best." Then being dissapointed when they find out it takes over 6 hours to grow.
(Stats wouldn't be displayed as exact numbers. They'd be displayed as something like bars)
just let us see how much time we've got left until we grow in the character tab or next to the growth timer

Give us a dino balance patch to spice things up, the server populations are dying due to lack of interest. EU 2+3 are completely dead all the time now, as is US 2+3. Need something to tide us over, im worried people wont come back after the recode.

add environmental temperature changes that can effect how fast plants come back and how much they give, basically add drought so migrating doesnt feel pointless.
like maybe herbivores could get a notification saying that west or north will suffer drought so they head south and east instead?
i hate seeing herbivores hide like lil bitches most of the time in large quantities and help eachother afk grow while sitting in the same spot.
this is legit the reason i never got into playing herbis before.

Maybe add a map where its based around a city or some kind of civilisation, and add more environment changes such as bushfires and maybe even floods
To help reduce the impact of afk growing reward people with a slightly faster growth if they go out and wander or kill something. If they're sitting still for a long time then they don't get the benefit. I'm kind of sick of my group just sitting in a hole and afking when we should be playing the game.

Ok I agree that grow times should be reduced. It's not fun just afk waiting for hours and it's so difficult to play casually when you have to dedicate hours into getting to adulthood (just to be easily killed)
I think there should be adjustments for growth times or even adjustments to the dinosaur and how food it gives, eats, etc so each server can be unique.

Today I will talking about the scent mechanic and what he can be in the future, but like always suggestion I think developers have their own ideas and they are great 😉
I think scent mechanic can have more thing than now and can be greatest. So let's see it now !
Firstly, other type of traces. Now we have foot prints and blood for traces when you hunt as carnivore and I think we should have more type of traces to give it more immersive like moult, because dinosaurs are reptiles and need to moulted, or infected dinosaurs, after a bite hasn't healed with some type of point in the compass but you need to be close like 100 meters, not toward the map and this work with all dinosaurs, herbivore and carnivore. So you can leave a guy because he have an infection because he can show your presence. Infection can be healed after one or two day in game. And I think some odeur traces can be awesome like on trees or hight grass.
Secondly, different smell distances. Some dino can have a better scent than other. It can be a statistic like weight mass, damage, speed ( but I think statistic need a rework, I'll do a suggestion about this one.) For exemple some great herbivore who need to dress up like para and maïa, for herbivore, can have a better scent than other dinosaurs like trike and diablo. Or a scavenger dinosaurs like Ceratosaurus or Tyrannosaurus can have a better smell distance than dilo or giga for ribs.
After bleeder can have a better scent for infection and open wounds and blood than scavengers.
Thirdly, the possibilitys to smell more than gores, smell body.* This is probably one of the thing we want the must to carnivore, smell full bodys.
I know well than this will come in the future but this would be awesome to know where can
be a full corps and not just ribs.
Fourthly, the possibilitys to scent has herbivore when you walk.* This is too one of the most thing we want for herbivore. I think you shouldn't be able to scent when you trot but when you walk it can be better because herbs are prey and shouldn't be able to scent when they trot, this is too over powered. But this need more time than standing animation because your dinosaur concentrates less well than when it does not move and need more time to do it.
Finnaly, the possibility of smell during the rain. This is one of the most frustrating things in the world to be an herbivore hand be not able to scent bush during the night because it's raining. I think herbivore should be able to smell bush during the rain and all dinosaurs able to have the compass but for a shorter time than when it does not rain.
After, some other thing can be upgrade like blood prints duration, very short, or with graphism the posibility to see smoke track with foot prints and see foot prints vanished in the water because you don't let it in water. After if some of the thing I've sayed will be in game, reduced the foot prints rate.

Bodies in the water should be edible if not swimming.
Right seems like everyone is posting suggestions about growth times and such. For me the time required to grow a Dino is not a problem at all. But the fact that there’s not really much u can do when growing ur Dino, that’s the frustrating part. So here I shall repost some of my earlier suggestions (a month or two back) to see if anyone would find it interesting
Let us have a preview of our adult dino/playable in the skin customization menu so we don't have to go to sandbox to check if our skin turns into garbage when we grow up.
Buff pachy
Make nights dark again! Its ridiciolous how easy some people with higher gamma can see at night. Its basicly just a differently colored day for them.
Nightvision on V3 is basicly worthless for the most part, unless you are in a deep forest or jungle. Even then people with better gamma appearently don´t need it...
Concept for some hyper-intelligent Neuro dino: A dinosaur that can imitate other dino's calls! Imagine having access to, say, a dilo, rex & ava 1-call, and the potential there for traps, self-"defense" etc.
For the scent system:
When dinosaurs sniff, along with being able to see the footprints of other dinosaurs, maybe have spots of yellow smoke or glowing color smears on vegetation, kind of like how the blood stains grass when you are walking by. Such as a Diablo brushing against a bush when it walks through the forest, and a predator sniffing could see where the Diablo touched the bush. That way if we somehow lose the footprints, we still have a chance at finding our prey; because for some reason, the footprints tend to stop for me and restart in another area, which often takes me some minutes of backtracking and circling, many times resulting with totally losing the hunt. (Or maybe that’s just me, I don’t know)
Maybe Add A Percentage gage to the small food or water icon that shows up at the bottom right when you eat, so it is a lot more accurate when drinking or eating so it doesn't fill to full at like 80% and have to open the character sheet in order to tell what percent you are
S key (on keyboard) should back up slowly and quietly
Let us use the old skins too [before the skin system] i loved that Dilo color, so as the old skin of the new allosaurus when it came out.
suggestion: return with the utahraptor's grab system, being able to grasp the parasaurolophos, shantugosauro, tricertops and camarasauro


Fix the server crashes on the V3 map
another suggestion: to allow or leave configurable to the servers the dinosaurs can send group invitation to other species,
example: a parasaurolophos can send a group invitation to a maiasasaurus
I'm suggesting a pretty major change to the V3 map. I believe that the canyons needs to be removed from the map. They make a very large part of the map unplayable and really only serve to make traveling across the map an incredible pain. I think if this area was remade you could have more players willing to play outside of the edges of the map. Put in the plains people have been asking for or maybe think redwoods. Just something besides the canyons.

Wait no don’t be confused about my mammals suggestion let me explain. Ok so what I was thinking is more like small mammals that are AI. But also since the game obviously isn’t that realistic time wise, we could maybe get like dire bears or dire wolves? It sounds weird but I feel like it’d be fun, kind of like upgraded Utah’s for the wolves and something like a fishing allo for the bear
Ok ignore my last suggestions I have a new one ok. Better night vision for herras and austros. Since they can’t really hunt in the day because they are so weak and fragile, what better time would it be for them to hunt in the night! Ok so it’s kind of like how dilos work. Obviously dilos don’t have a lot of health or bite force, so their hunting tactic is surprise attacks at night, and bleeding out their victims. Well, herras and austros could be like smaller, faster dilos, give them just a little bleed boost and some better night vision, and there they are, people will love them more than they already do. (Disclaimer: I don’t expect anything like this to happen until they are worked on and added to survival later on)
Also, a good idea from morkom that I have also been thinking about, climbing or burrowing for herra and austro, I feel like herra would fit those two better, but whatever man
Maybe buff trike to the point where a rex can't easily kill it from behind, especially with its shitty turn radius.
Ok this is a real and probably my last suggestion today— make it so herras don’t die from falls/break bones from falls so easily. I just fell from the height of a rex and died as a herra. The height of a rex. So I need something explained, why can a carno fall from as high as a Utah and be fine, but a herra that is only half as big as a carno, falls off of of a rock in the trees and break its leg (yes I’ve done that before as a herra)

Reduce growth time for trikes, gigas and rexes. Make trikes 5 hrs and 30 mins to grow fully, same with giga, and rex 6 hrs and 30 minutes.

Make young dinosaurs spend the last 10% of their growth time at maximum size. So for example, right now the juvie rex takes 100 minutes to grow: shorten that to 90 minutes, but then have them sit at full size for another 10 minutes before they're allowed to become subs. Players will grow a little faster and also have a chance to use each stage's maximum stats, but overall time spent playing each stage won't change.

For Stegosaurus' attack: amount of damage and bleed (if applicable, which it should be) is dependant on the progress of the swing. if you're standing more toward the front of steg (i.e. the end of the swing), you wll take the maximum amount of damage, whereas if you are standing near the end of its tail (the beginning of its swing) it will deal very little damage because the swing hasn't gained enough momentum to deal substantial amounts of damage.
For that pesky nesting system, to make it a little more viable and even somewhat better, what if in the dinosaur selection screen, there could be like an option that says "Available Nests" where you can go through a list of nests that are currently in game with details about what it is and how many eggs that are available with the Dinosaur name. It would make it somewhat more viable instead of having to get an invite from someone.
(Also maybe the person who owns the nest can accept or decline requests for people going into their nests.) Of course, it doesn't have to be exactly how I say it, but I think this would make it a lot better, especially if you guys are gonna have only males and females make nests together and not just a lone female
Please add scars to the game. When a dinosaur is hurt badly they could receive scars on their body relative to the damage they take. This would really help with immersion. Another cool idea might be to add a system where when an adult dino kills another adult dino they get a noticeable and intimidating battle marking/scar (slash through the eye, scuffed horn, etc.), the mark could be stacked and you get more scars the more adults you kill. 
Change the juvie trikes sitting sound, it sounds really loud, and sounds exactly like an adult trike.
Add an auto walk feature with a press of a button
Let Fulladult/adult Gigas and rexes eat Trike Gore piles... there is no excuse not to let them >>
Heres a way to spot people who are using the gamma increase exploit at night :
If you've heard of 'Tapetum Lucidum', its a layer in eyes of nocturnal animals that glow when is reflected with light, or just naturally. It is when light is absorbed by the eye to make the animal see better at night, so maybe when dinos use night vision at night, they're eyes would glow and if they eye glow isn't seen when hunting, it is confirmed that the dinosaur/player is using the gamma hack. Glow could be brighter for dinos with better NV.
Maybe Work on the Dino’s that already have a model and implement , n the game because survival is kinda boring being limited to a few Dino’s for herbivore and carnivore
Suggestion/Possible solution for Flyers giving out player locations:
I feel this would benefit both the flyers, and the other dinosaurs existing. Instead of a water meter, use a body temperature meter.
Basking- The meter will drop over time, with higher rates if the player is above a high altitude or in contact with water. When the body heat is drained the flyer will begin taking damage.
Basking in certain areas only: Flyers must bask in designated areas. These locations can be marked using scent for a special post of rocks. Limiting the flyers to these regions, making them useless as scouts for any long term.
Why this works: Juviniles won't need water to drink, just body temp up to fly. Being able to fly longer as they age. With hatchlings regaining "basking" if their parents are at the nest only. Keeping them warm.
Traveling between basking areas should use quite a bit of stamina. Essentially making them one shot travels across the map and not allowing players leisure to look for other players.
Continued: Putting them on rocks in edges of the map is a good start. And these basking zones get used up. Much like bushes, if the rocks are cold, they can't bask. Making the competition for the best nesting and basking zones.
Give Cerato a bleed resistance of 20% damage at 3 bleed. If it cannot be a ceratorex again, at least give it that bleed resistance and the same ambush as its juvie. Idc if Cerato is supposed to have a garbage ambush. 1.1x at 6 seconds? Might as well not have an ambush at adult.
Bring back the redwoods
Maybe instead of a kick for galli while its running it gets a peck?

Ok I have another. For access to hypos, I'm thinking you'll have to grow the normal version of the dino before unlocking the hypo, but once you die you'll have to start the process all over again of you want a new one (NOTE: this might only work for the apexes, ones like carno and utah you might have to grow multiple times to gain access)
Underwater dinos.
Reduce the growth time for the Galli from 1.5 hrs to 45 minutes
Galli run kick should be slowed down and or drain stamina because its too abusable to kick in succession while its standing attack only allows for it to hit once

Purely aesthetics, but it'd be great to see gore modeled after the species that was killed instead of just being a size variant - such as trike/ceratopsid horns, hadro skulls, etc. Or even, if the coding rework becomes robust enough to handle it, leaving limbs bearing the same skin pattern of the dino killed.
I may take work but what if instead of gore make it actually Skeletons of the creatures that were killed, so it be more realistic and people who stumble across gore know what was killed?

When humans and tribals come in, allow them to ride a "tamed" creature but it has to crouch to let them on. If the human/tribal won't come off, it be cool if they used the same bucking animations they might use to buck pouncing utahs off
Not sure if it was suggested already, but i'm gonna link my suggestion to the gore/ribs subject:
make it like that when you step in blood you get dirty (at your legs/feet) and when you walk around you leave bloody fotsteps which would make you be tracked more easily (because of the intensity and color) Also you should get dirty when you eat, giving a more creepy and scary look to your dinosaur and maybe, if you're a small tire you might even get most of your body stained in blood, but you can only clean yourself by walking in the water or waiting for the rain to wash it off. (or maybe if you dont wash it, it goes away after a long time) 
Mercenaries and Tribals riding dinosaurs (dino POV) suggestion: its just kinda what i assumed edition
Mercenaries and Tribals jack your controls. IF they can get the drop on you and wrestle the tack on, that is, or even create the tack to begin with. As the dinosaur being ridden, you can input your own movement to influence it at will, starting out as a minimal sway but with more and more attempts ramping up the dinosaurs influence until you have full control again. If riders and mounts want to work together (humans gathering affinity boosting foods, having a map available, ect) they can benefit from working together to create tighter turn radiuses, faster reactions, or stop the duo from careening off of cliffs / running into trouble. However, when you input your own movement as a dinosaur, you take incremental damage (tribal) or affinity drops (mercenaries) for doing so. Larger creatures can tank more damage and break free more reliably, smaller creatures can struggle themselves to death, at opportune moments one could gain full control to suicide off a cliff or make a break for the pack. This isn't a beneficial relationship most of the time so much as being a captive, you can make the best of it it, struggling away is possible but risky, death seems like the only way out, but those who are used to long-haul survival will have no issue breaking free if they are patient.
also imagine the confusion of seeing a tacked dino without a rider, as another dino. would you kill on sight, or take in a haggard traveler?
simple suggestion, make it so suchos can eat fish when they are added with the Pteranodon
give cera a detail that looks like its old version where it nicely blends with the body instead of being a ripoff of carno's detail.
More of a server-related issue (not sure if it has been suggested before) but;
- Expand the slots on Official's EU1 and US1 to 150 or 200, since they're by far the most popular of the Official servers and it's near impossible to join during prime-times.
- Merge Official's EU2 with EU3 and merge Official's US2 with US3, since their slots are currently barely being populated for more than 50%. Whether the slots should be expanded to 150 or 200, is open for debate.
Work on replays. Not how it is replayed, but the rename and how they seem to scramble into different places every time you go back into main menu. I just lost my recording of hypo spinos and of rule breakers that I needed for proof of a report.

You should have two options for nesting:
Have a egg ready to manually invite(already in game right now)
Have some type of macanic at the character screen or when they open growth bar so players can pick eggs that are currently open
Make a new dino or let small carnivores eat eggs from the nest. So that people actually have to GUARD the nest. Would be interesting to see nest predation
addition to my previous suggestion about suchos being able to eat fish, have it so there is x amount of fish in a pond and once the supply of fish is gone, its gone for 30mins or so, this will encourage suchos to get out of the water, also have larger bodies of water like titan have more fish, it will also encourage flyers to go to more active areas.

kinda wish the color picker stopped ppl from using a particular color too much. Something to prevent skins that are all 1 color, that way we could have black back without seeing 100% black dinos with no variation to blend in with night way too much. its also just ugly (also remove no variation tbh, whats the point of clay dinos?)
Return the crest colors to Dilo's color pool! It makes them look venomous, the crest colors made camouflage and hunting near-fruitless in the day... because dilos are not supposed to be good day hunters. The day should be scary! But the tone of crest colors at night made it blend in very well. It really suited the lifestyle, and flipped things around.
speaking of colour select. can we have actual labels yet? Colourblind squad here
Another flying dino after ptera, I know this is down the road, but besides quetz ptera needs some preds, since it will probably being just flying away from any land based dinosaurs if it get caught off-guard. I'd say either give it competition or a capable predator.
Also, allow ptera to nest on rocks, so it's bb's are safe from utahs and shit.
Cera is absolute garbage. Help it. Revert/buff bleed res, buff ambush (currently 40.3, allo catches it easily with 44.5 ambush and 3:20 stamina, as well as a 12 sec ambush duration. Perhaps buff stamina as well, considering it has 2:30 duration? It just got invalidated so hard after the necessary Ceratorex rework. If you want to say something about my suggestion then ping me because I have #general-feedback-discussion muted

Little to some people's realization but Full adult juvenile is better than the adult in every way, it matches it in speed and power, while having better bleed resistance and ambush speed with just a small sacrifice In weight mass, while also only needing 50 minutes to reach So in Hope's to remedy this, this is what could be done.
- Bleed resistance buffed from .8/2.0 to .1(across all values)
- A ambush timer buff to 12 seconds from
6 seconds
-A possible ambush multiplier buff if possible
-Ultimately, Ceratosaurus as a sole scavenger will never be truly affective until it has the proper equipment to protect and steal carrion, its bleed resistance, and when scavenging isnt an option, it would also need a way to hunt for itself, which requires an ample ambush to do so.

I think dilo needs its old bite animation back or it needs its bite radius to touch the ground more because it has issues biting prey near the ground. I watched a dilo chase around an oro and try to kill it for an entire minute... That's sad.
Pachycephalosaurus really needs a balance update as soon as the recode is out. Please consider these changes.
Top Priority Pachy Changes:
Growth Time should be reduced to 2 hours.
Bleed Resistance should be astronomically increased.
Bleed Heal should be greatly increased.
Weight and Health should be buffed to 1500 each.
Speed decreased to 38km/h, so that it can't run down Dilo, but can still get away from apexes.
Lower Priority Pachy Changes: (would still be nice to have and would make sense for the animal to have)
Stamina regen when trotting should be increased.
Stamina drain when swimming should not be as terrible as it currently is.
Night vision should be increased.
Scent range should be greatly increased.
Give the cerato backs its power but make it smaller its o unrealistic rn.
Giga alt turn is op
Give dinos a stackable buff around others dinos of the same species to encourage herding? So if you have a herd of ceratops they get higher defense the more animals around you (maybe like 2% per animal near you stackable up to +10%). If you have a flock of Ptera they get faster flight. Gallys might have faster running. Maybe it's only stackable up to a certain amount depending on the animal because obviously you can't have a herd of Rexes and they're already OP. Maybe nesting can have a buff too if you have both a male and female near a nest the eggs hatch faster? Maybe squeakies can grow faster around adults (their parents) if they stay near them while growing.
Upgrade Ankylosaurus weight.
Is there some way for it to be added to the nests: all members of a group can see the locations of that group's nest(s)? Or at least babies that were nested in are capable of seeing where they were nested from?
Give bone break some proper sound or different pain sound instead the generic damage sound that each dinos do that is exactly the same when they take any kind of damage. Also when a dino is drowning he could do one long scream instead sounding like a rubber ducky thats getting squeezed too many times.
Add a stress mechanic or some kind of spine tingle mechanic, just as kind of a cool warning system and would add maybe some immersion into the game

I would like nest building to be more useful maybe a controlled spawn point for both Male and female, where female can invite friends with fert eggs? As of this point the mechanic sounds cool but really useless and a pain to use with little rewards.
It would be cool to have any species of herbi able to group with each other, but make it so carnis can't add other species to the group.

This may be a bit unpopular with those that play as Spinos but I'd suggest nerfing the Spino's turn radius. It's already got an insane amount of health, great bite force because of its mass, and one of the best turn radiuses in the game. I'm not saying they need to have a bad turn but just worse than what they currently have to make them a bit less OP.
Maybe for caves (if re-added) some creatures (either current or future) could get a sort of echolocation, that would require a broadcast. Of course, the deeper you are in a cave the less light comes through, so it could be a possibility. Also maybe juvie/small stuff only caves so that way there’s a chance you can survive a carnivore chasing you.
Forgive me if this has been said, but the ability to "favorite" servers you like, so you dont have to swim in a sea of ones you dont care about.
Someone told me the RUST was able to fix gamma in a way where people couldn't cheat the night. I think The Isle really needs to do the same. It can be hard to prove someone is cheating but we all know a lot of people cheat. Making night truly dark would even the playing field.
Give ptera a call that sounds like a laugh so players can perch and laugh at playables that stick to the ground walking past

The tyrants should be balanced so that one always has a stat (at 100% no damage full stam) above the others. Ex: rex v spino. Spino May be faster, but rex would deal more damage, with about the same bulk and stam.
Make it so when you're running and turn left or right, your body leans ins into the turn. This may help fliers look less static.
Instead of having 3 EU and 3 US servers, why not merging into EU 1 & 2 and US 1 & 2?
I have been talking with many people and we all agree that EU 3, US 2 and US 3 are pretty much always dead (EU3 has 100 slots, which at max it peaks at sundays maybe with less than 40 players, that's basically a waste of slots).
Why would anyone go to n°3 servers if there are like 5-10 people? It seems like a picky suggestion but its an actual problem, as we are all usually trying to refresh and wait to have a free slot to enter EU1 and US1, instead of hopping into the rest official servers.
Give Giga's adult stage unique animations. Sub and juv afaik are fine with the animation but adult just looks silly. (contrary to Rex, unique animations for every damn stage.) Ontop of that, fix juvie giga's spine, and maybe check up and touch up on the subadult model's quality. Kind of a bummer that it's just a reused old model, no?
Rex's new broadcast is way too short and airy compared to other apexes and it feels like you cannot hear it as far as you can hear a giga. Please, somehow, make the vocalizations less airy and make the broadcast another second longer. Or just take the old broadcast's vocalization and add the bass effects to it, please.
I do not feel intimidating or powerful when I broadcast... I understand there are bigger and more powerful dinosaurs, but Rex is the King, otherwise. If we had to make Rex's broadcast shorter, take away the burp at the end of Rex's old broadcast.
If we cannot have that, I would at least like to have the option to use the old broadcast and its animations. I understand you love the new calls, Dondi. It is your game and you decide what goes in. But I would love to be able to use old 1 and 3 calls and their animations as an option, even if the sound quality for the old 1 and 3 calls are not up to par with the current calls.

Ideas for ptera:
Pteranodon should be knocked out for a bit of time if it hits a rock/tree with full speed, and a player would need to react in time if they don’t want the pteranodon to fall down completely. It should also take away some health.
If facing down when flying, it should gain some speed. Also this way it can possibly hunt fish in water, which is it’s main diet.
A system to encourage more balanced server populations would be pretty cool. For example, I choose a server that, unbeknownst to me, has a high proportion of carnivores. It notifies me in the server details that there is a temporary bonus for creating or logging in with a herbivore on this server, or perhaps just a specific species of herbivore. If I create/log in with a herbivore, it gives me some sort of bonus. This could be something small but enticing, like a 1.1x growth rate for 30 minutes or something on a dino. Something small enough to where it isn't broken, but it still enticing enough to get people to play that species. Ratios/proportions could be adjusted in server options to allow flexibility for different servers, setting different options like "herbivore heavy", "balanced", "carnivore heavy". You could still create a non-incentivized dino like normal, it just wouldn't get the bonus. This could be limited to getting the bonus once a day per server to prevent people logging out after 30 min and relogging, etc. It could work vice-versa--a server with a massive herd of herbies would encourage more people to choose carnivores to balance it out.
I think something like this would be a cool way to gently incentivize more balanced populations of dinosaurs without penalizing people for playing what they want!
Something that might help spawn killing. Like a 15 second timer where you are completely intangible to other players. They cannot hurt you, but you cannot hurt them. It'd give both parties time to survey their surroundings after logging in, and would get rid of rexes logging in on top of you and going "oh boy!" and immediately killing you, or finding yourself at the center of a 5 pack of rexes that just happened to be surrounding the spot you chose to log the night before.
suggestion for reworked swimming system.
make it so dinos can float/hover when they are not moving but they will sink slowly, semi aquatics sink slower. when out of stamina you sink faster. it drains 02 once ur head is submerged while sinking.
For Spinosaurus, Make a bite and claw slash attack. Bite for instant damage and a claw slash for bleed dmg.
If you are bleeding and you are in the water , maybe a buff to the bleed if you get to deep in it thus making people no longer exploiting it, it would fix all the problems with this issue.

(Reason is that most dinos can swim faster if they ambush and then run into the water and sucho is supposed to be a water dino but still swims rly slow imo and also suchomimus was bigger in real life from what ive heard) also find it wierd that rex giga are faster then sucho when they are so much heavier and better. or atleast make sucho faster then apexes..

Maia and Utah should swap speeds. It won't be much of a difference, but Maia should not be able to chase Utah down just to kill it in 3 hits because it's faster
I don't think maia should be utah speed but change it where it is slighty slower than dilo speed so packy will be a option and lower the stam duration so it isn't able to run down dilos

territory suggestion
So I was wondering if it be would possible the devs could implement a system involving making use of a territory where no other games have gone before.
The idea contains two parts, the first is a territorial system that involves adding environmental footprints. Whilst the second part adds benefits and disadvantages for both carnivores and herbivores within or out of the territory they control, which could possible solve the ai problem we currently have.
In general, a marker would be used to mark a territory that would come in different sizes/colour according to their host’s diet and shows up under Q mode when a player sniffs.
This extra way to indicate a solo/group’s territory would let players avoid territories held by different dinos and allow hunters to locate their prey in a more generic location while only providing minimum informations. This would not only add a new play style for dinos but also make scavenging carnivores possible. Moreover it makes the game more dynamic in many different ways.
When a territory is marked, it would spawn AIs according to its owners diet. But mostly a grade/size lesser than the territory’s owners which would not danger the adults but add risks on the juvis and hatchlings to discourage mass group nesting or afk growth.
For herbivores, Carnivores Ai spawned would endanger the younger member of the herd, but it could also be used to warn if there’s any larger predators around. Moreover, knowing that there would be AIs that would might interfere with the hunt, any hunters even apex predators will have to choose their battle more seriously instead of just initiating the first chance they see something that moves.
As for carnivores, the current ai spawning system is a great lifeline, but it spawns ai far too close to the player. And basically rewards the player for not doing anything. But if it were to change into a territorial spawn, where AIs would only spawn outside but near a carnivores marked territory. It would have to make players work more and take more risks for them to get food. As carnivores will now have to venture out more to find food and possibly defend their territory to secure a constant food supply and not just afk in a place while waiting for AIs to spawn in their mouths.
Countering abuse :
Camping ai carnivores for food, we can reduce the amount of food ai carnivores provide to 5-10% of their player counterpart to discourage players haunting herbis for their ai spawn.
But no matter if you are either a nesting/roaming herbivores or carnivores you will be able to make use of the territory system, so what do u guys think??? #general-feedback-discussion
Please can the Mai have a buff on speed and more bleed resistance its annoying that a dilo can kill an adult in 5 bites considering how weak dilos jaws should be again the thickness of a mias hide. All the herbs really need a buff against anything non apex as there hides would be very thick and in some cases covered in boney suts and dermal noduls making it near impossible for creatures like utars and dilos, velos to cut straight through them and cause mass bleed .

Two words: server whitelisting. I know this isn’t very high in terms of priority and will likely come long after the recode but it would be cool to see its return.
For large carnivores: The AI (namely tacos and oros) are very small and it seems unlikely that a Rex or any other larger carnivore would even allow a tiny gore to be left behind. I would think that carnivores ate their food similarly to the way today’s crocodilians do - swallowing smaller prey whole. I think it would be neat to pick up the ai (which I know is in the works) and just eat it entirely without leaving a gore you can’t eat. I’ve been told that gores also can cause some lag (which I don’t know if it’s true, so I apologize if I’m wrong!) if there are too many, such as players mass killing ais, so maybe taking the large carnivores ability to leave small gores can help? I don’t know how much good it would do, though.

Like ambush, you would crouch for X amount of time. Then, you would sprint sliiiiiiiigghtly faster than normal, head bowed down, lose double stamina and have a worse turn radius, and become able to unleash a wicked skullcracking headbutt dealing 450 damage (or something else that’s reasonable)
That or make it so the charging ability allows you a chance to break the leg of a dino that weighs less than you.

For any dinosaurs with pressure points/holes in the snout like the spinosaurus and deinosuchus. Be able to detect fish in water while pressing a key, maybe normally when you press e to drink water also have the Q key not for sniffing this time but for putting your snout in the water to detect fish. This allows the dinosaurs to get fish easier (because it's probably their main food source since they have presure points.) and other dinosaurs won't steal all the fish from the ''fishing'' dinosaurs.
It balances it and it Makes it more realistic. Whould love to see this feature in the isle

The time between the first and the next feedback topic can be decent enough to discuss the topic, if anyone else would like to discuss it. For example, a lot of people are annoyed with how Rex's broadcast is considerably more quiet because of the deafening effect on itself, but we are not allowed to discuss it in suggestions. when a bleeding dino is in water, could the blood pool around them rather than do its normal drippy on the ground? and suchos, spinos, deino could pick that blood up in scent
@night bolt adding to the echolocation, anything that makes a noise (other than footsteps unless its sucho or bigger) will allow said creature to see them for a short duration of time/sense where the sound came from.
may i suggest a kill button to the menu it can get a little annoying having to find a way to kill myself when trying out the different dinos
Add a mating dance. I am trying to splurt to some dino action. Also make the shants have the sexiest dance.
Allow 2 dinos per server. It's still a small enough number that you're invested in both dinos, but that way apexes aren't suddenly SO prohibitive to grow. For casual players who might only spend an hour on the game at a time, spending a full week only being able to play mostly low stages of an apex to grow it, only to potentially lose it in a second and be forced to start from scratch, will really drain enjoyment from the game. Having just one other dino to fall back on on each server will likely seriously decrease the amount of frustration and setback that a loss of a long-growth dino would cause.
Possibly add slots for multiple dinosaurs? And if someone breaks a rule, you can ban their whole account and restrict access to all of their dinosaurs, and not have to worry about multiple accounts to ban, that way everyone wins
suggestion: to add the velociraptor to the survival mode only that much stronger and faster with the force of 30N and a resistance to race and greater speed. note: it may not seem like many people like to play velociraptor and it's bad it just in sandbox mode

Now I have an Idea... wouldn't it be an Idea to do like multiple Dino's on one account? For example: You have a Rex, Giga and Utha. You are about to log in into the Server and you are asked wich Dino you wanna log into. If the person rulebreaks and get's banned it solves the problem of revenge killing. You don't need Familyshare and still do not need to sacrifice for example a Rex.
when the dragging/picking up mechanic comes: maybe you can pick up juvies/htachlings from YOUR nest?
A way to help prevent afk growth. So while we eat a timer should start of about 5 min this would be the consumption time. This will allow everything ate within that 5 min block to be lumped as one. After the last item was ate within the consumption time a 30 min timer would start this will be a digestion timer. ( if you ate something at 0.00 then 4.59 the digestion timer will reset to 30 min to prevent spamming. Once the digestion timer hits 0 your dino will produce feces. The feces will make a sent that when Q is use will show up and expand allowing carnos and herbs to know what's in the area this will give species from color, age from how high the sent is shown from the ground and the opacity will give direction to the center ( strength of smell that will decrease in time ) #general-feedback-discussion

A better growth time for almost every sandbox dino, and a better growth time for pachys, ceratos suchos, and gallis. Here's to list the sandbox dinos:
Theris, baryonyxs, ankys, herreras, austros, stegos (well, when they're added in) and avas. I've never been nested in as an acro, so I can't say if they need a growth time fix.
And maybe a way to grow in sandbox mode, or atleast see your stats.
Little nitpick. I've noticed that your nightvision between when your camera is scrolled out is drastically smaller feeling than when your zoomed all the way in on your dinos head, where it feels less claustrophobic. Is there any way nightvision could be centered on the dino instead of the camera?

Multiple Dino Saves & Character Selection Screen. With the Steam Family-Sharing feature being disabled, we should look at implementing a way for players to change and save their dinos. If I grow a Trike to adult and I want to play another dino I should be able to do that without killing my Trike or going to a completely different server. Please add an "alive dino selection screen" that allows for players to pick any dino they have grown on that server. This feels like a feature that is almost essential and I hope it's seriously considered by the devs.

I do have to agree with the multiple dino selections. Most online multiplayer kind of games have some sort of limit on the number of characters you can have per account. Perhaps maybe a limit of 3-5 per account that you would be able to have. That way, if someone does break the rule and needs a ban, it would affect all their dinos, and not just one. It would keep people from needing alt accounts to log into when they want to revenge kill or continue to rule break. This would also allow families who perhaps cannot afford to buy multiple copies of the game, or want to keep tabs on what their kids are playing, by sharing one account with 5 dino slots to use per server. (Edited after Vralen's suggestion) You could also limit apex dinos similarly to how Blizzard limits the certain classes of players on WoW. That way you don't have account with 5 rexes/gigas/trikes, etc. 1 of each and that is it per server.
To add on to Deku's suggestion I would also recommend limiting the number of apex's an account may have.

I'd be cool if there would be any possibility of there being added an ingame feature to look through what eggs are available and join through that. Like, as you nest, have the option to directly invite a user, or put the egg up in an "egg list", and have the users request the egg, like a "nest request" instead of nest invite. Might make it easier to find people to nest in (without sending random nest invites at the risk of people missclicking and losing all of their progress), and find eggs when you're looking for them

Since many people used family share to be able to play multiple dinos on one server because they had multiple groups of friends there without using it to revenge kill, maybe add 1 or 2 extra dino slots per server. If you log or get killed you could have to wait 10-20 minutes before you can access a different dino slot for that server so you cannot use this system for revenge killing. This timer might be annoying, but better than people having adult rexes to kill somebody that killed than 5 minutes earlier.
I think adding little deposits of small insects all over the map for small carnivores to eat would be pretty neat
Rework the speeds of all the dinosaurs starting off such base as giga and rex being suspected 16-19 mph. It's ridiculous.

I propose to prohibit the use of multiple accounts and family access. Because it is not honest work against players with a single account. Example: if player - 1 kills player - 2, then player - 2 takes another Dino to get revenge, while knowing the location of the player - 1
Stats after death, like how many km/miles your dino have walked, how many hours you have survived, how much you have ate/drinked, how many dinos you have killed, nested etc.
Why dont they make it so you can have 3 different dinos on a server like dino profiles so you're not stuck playing the same dino. now they are forcing people to buy The Isle to get a second dinosaur on the server you love. Instead of just making it an ingame feature.
suggestion: to release the alternative accounts, simply has more advantages than disadvantage, if players are messing up it's up to the servers to ban these player accounts, I and most people find this fairer than depriving all honest players, thank you!

Since everyone seems to be suggesting allowing two (or more) dinosaurs per account per server, here's an idea that might work towards the success of the idea:
Treat it as if a player is logging off: The user needs to have their escape menu open for 60 (or more) seconds to be able to switch. There can be a separate button named "Switch" or "Swap". Once you click that, it will automatically re-spawn you in as your secondary dinosaur, wherever you last logged (on secondary dino, not main). Once the timer is up for the swap, it'll treat it as a safelog for your main dino, therefore 'logging' it off so you can login to your secondary dinosaur.
If a server does not want this to occur to their own players, it can be an easy option to toggle in the server settings, therefore graying out/removing the 'swap' button so player cannot use it.
If you don't already have a dinosaur on your swap, it'll just take you to the character screen that'll allow you to select your juvenile.

make the max apex group limit for carnivores less, 5 man rexes and gigas are unkillable and make solo apex/pair apex life harder. i say make it like this. max rex adults is 2 and max giga adults is 3. giga is a bit higher than rex cause its weaker than it in a 1v1 and 2v2 and also it needs numbers to hunt sauropods like camara.

What about some areas where vegetation is like this. Decent cover for medium sized dinos,, bigger ones are just too huge to sneak into it. For the night its also nice cover, but on the other side thats what everyone may think and therefore it may not be as safe as it first seems to be.
Im not talking about whole biomes but maybe as big as 1-2 football fields or smthing, scattered around the map a couple times.
Let the Sub giga and Juvie gigga be fast boi to match the adult build up..

I really would like if the drink and eat emote was different. Like, eat is E and drink is R maybe. Or T. Something else. This might fix the issue where you can’t eat near/in water, and it will make Suchos (quick swimmers) more useful in their water. And it makes people who decide to run into water and drown themselves over giving their hunter food not be able to do things like that.
Just a suggestion. Another fix is maybe overriding ‘eat’ over ‘drink’, so if you’re near a body, you can only eat, but if you move further down the stream/lake, you can drink.
Give us a /die command. I just want a good spawn point quickly without the whole drowning myself every time 
If you give people slots, we will have rogue herbs, revenge killing, mixpacking, and all that again. "I just want to have other dino to play with my friends QQ", thats bs. Listening to those ppl ended with the isle as one of the easiest survival game out there. Bleed no longer kills you, IA literally spawn between ur legs, hunger for apex is a joke, theres no night anymore, etc. If they want to play with glitchy lowpolygon neon fucsia dinos, let em, nobody will miss em on this community anyways.
Make dryos map sized
My reasoning for not allowing multiple dinosaurs per account. This is a dinosaur survival game, every survival game I've played has 1 avatar per server. There's no reason to allow people to have more then one dinosaur per server. It pushes away the value of a dinosaur and gives you less concern to remain alive when you have something in the back waiting. If you want to play with friends then make a decision, kill off your dinosaur or continue playing the one you have and ask them to play with you. It works for Rust, it worked for DayZ, it works for this game. Or you could just pay 20 more bucks and get a second account.
How about allowing players to have one carni and one herbi per account? i think it would encourage players to be more diverse in their gameplay

I played countless mmorpgs. One exploit that we can avoid in future is revenge killing which will come once humans are in the game. Let's say you got an account with 1 rex and 1 human. You rex dies and you jump on the human to kill those dudes. Solution is: 24 hours timer on switching between dino or human. Or on some servers, disable "faction" change completely. This tends to ultra big issue as you already noticed with family sharing.
Lower dibble health and weight by 500(kg). They're not apexes, but even the highest mid-tiers like allos and suchos basically have no choice but to run when dealing with them. Keeping their weight and health from being so high would seriously help even out a fight that's already stacked against all other non-apexes in a million other ways. Like having the raw damage and turn radius of a cerato and better bleed than an allo.
Please expand the color palette of all dinosaurs. Because in the palette that we have, too many repetitive shades. The game lacks rich bright and dark colors

Make a slot system but have a 10 minute cool down between picking a new dinosaur. If you safe log there is no cool down, but if you die you wait 10 mins before picking one of your saved dinosaurs, so that revenge killing isn’t really an option. The people who killed you have plenty of time to eat you and get out of the area. Or even give servers the option to disable this if there is a problem with revenge killing. And to limit slots, make 1 slot per species.
Don't add a slot system at all.
Upon acquiring a strain from exploring the buildings (As this was mentioned to be the case)
Growing and mutating through the long process, have a badass cutscene of your dinosaur becoming said Rendocrin, ending it with another badass broadcast upon completing, and your camera panning back around behind to the default position.
Cheesy suggestion, but it’d be a nice little treat for the (maybe) long process of becoming said creature.
For dinosaur slots
One slot per species and a maximum of three or four slots altogether, with four perhaps having only two of each possible (two herbivores, two carnivores). Another possibility for limitations is only allowing one apex. This way if one dies, it actually impacts the player. It means nothing to me losing a rex if I've got a giga I can just play in half an hour.
And of course, a cooldown timer between switches. The cooldown timer could vary, with low tiers being maybe 10 minutes, mid tiers 20 minutes, and apexes 30 minutes, to avoid revenge killing. Apexes last the longest because as the strongest dinosaurs, they can easily revenge kill. As stated in discussions, strains should take up all slots.

Possible suggestion to add more muted / neutral colors to the selection. While the current list is really nice, it does happen to give limits. Respectfully it's understandable of wanting to keep colors as natural as possible but more de-saturated color choices wouldn't necessarily hurt.
Give color pallet to all colors...but it's limited to only shades of white/blacks, browns, tans, ect (only limited to realistic colors...but it's not based on dinosaurs, based on a color chooser of colors, but limited...if that's makes sense)
++add a Hex code system to it, so people can type in a #color to match a specific color (only limited to realistic colors)
For detail colors, keep it the same, so we do not get bright ass blues, reds, yellows...

I wish that we get a dino slot system and maybe 15-20 min to change from 1 dino to another to avoid the revenge kill that some players are doing (to make sure the other players dino heals up enough to get away). The family share was wery good because it gave me a chance to play as an Austro/Herra (that can easily get killed by a single bite/bleed) and now I've lost those dinos sadly, as well as a few others. It would be nice to have a few slots on 1 account becaues now I'm question what dino I want to play most on this or that server, I never really got to use my Acro and see what I could face with it on my own or stand my ground with it.
Btw, I'm quite sure that people will still find a way to revenge kill others as long as they got the money to buy the game, removing the family share might be a themp thing to solve it for the moment.
Hi! My buddy was a full grown rex, he was going to join my group invite, pressed f1 and bam he is now a baby alo from a random nest invite. My suggestion is that for the nest invites if you accept you get one more option alerting you, are you sure? you will forfeit your current dino... he is like OMG what just happened.... if you could regrow him, that would be nice... but understand that is very unlikely.... 😐

I think unofficial servers should have as many or as few Dinosaurs slots as they want once they are implemented
Maybe a list of banned/kicked players and the reasons the players were kicked or banned, sort of like a log in which only server admins can see?

I don’t think banning family sharing was beneficial to the community. I get it you want to prevent abusers but at the end the days it’s the user satisfaction that matters. It’s pretty evident that this decision was not supported by the community. Hold a straw pole or something I guarantee you’ll see this. Either way all your doing is validating abusers. They got what they wanted, to make the game less fun for others

I honestly think dinos' footsteps should be louder/audible from a farther distance. It seems incredibly impractical that you can sneak up on something without crouching. (Ex. The scene in the first JP film where the rex's footsteps were audible from a distance, but not from a mile away either. It was like a low rumble that you'd have to pay attention to before you could notice it and realize what exactly you're hearing.) Right now it sounds like an elephant walking over a bunch of plastic bags, and you can only hear it if you're facing in the direction of the sound, and if the sound is nearly right next to you.

It's been said that Ceratosaurus is meant to be a scavenging bully, not particularly geared toward hunting prey of its own. Right now, though, the only things you can steal kills from are things you could easily kill yourself. To remedy this, I propose a special ability which will allow Ceratosaurus to "punch above its weight class" so to speak, but still make it possible for larger creatures to kill. Quite simply: Ceratosaurus will have a multiplier attached to bite force and weight class, which increases inversely proportional to remaining health. So for example, a Ceratosaurus knocked down to 50% health would have those two stats multiplied by x1.5.
-bleed resistance will need to be buffed significantly for this to be useful, otherwise Ceratosaurus will die way too quickly like it does now.
With this special ability, Ceratosaurus is able to turn the tables on similar-sized dinosaurs like Allosaurus during a protracted fight, but still be vulnerable to a surprise attack just like everybody else. It will also be fairly impervious to attacks by smaller rivals like Utahraptor and Dilophosaurus, which it needs to be able to bully off of carcasses.
I am making a suggestion to not add group limits. The only way group limits would be good would be to make it adjustable, like you can adjust the rex group limit to only 2 per group, cerato could be 6 per group, but if you wanted it as a higher or lower number, then you could just adjust it. Like make it unlimited rex per group.
Also, Let’s get herra in survival bois! Herra needs a cheetah-like skin pattern (dm me if u wanna see what it looks like 😉) and buff it’s health from 500 to 1200 (because apparently austro can weigh 900-950, and herra is obviously bigger) and bite force to 70 or 80. Keep everything else the same except maybe a small bleed buff.
Have you devs considered adding the game to Humble Bundle? Would be nice for those who are Humble Partners to be able to promote the game and get a little in return.
Since Pteranodon is coming to the game. Disable grouping with any ground dino's right from the start. So ground dino like rex cannot use Pteranodon as a scout. This is a valid reason for concern and future exploit prevention.

Since people are so conflicted about quad/bipedal spino, just have the Z-walk be quad and the trot be bipedal... if you hate quad, just don't z walk.

I would like to suggest that there should be at least 1 official sever where apexes are disabled. The official server are overflowing with Rexes and Gigas and there's not much point in playing as any other dino (unless they're fast and can run away) as they will just be killed off. Even playing as a Rex/Giga yourself is a hassle, as unless you're in a group, there's always at least 1 other, big group of apexes that go around killing everyone. I know the game is about survival, but it's a bit too much with all the Rexes/Gigas and it really dampens the fun if you continuously get killed by the same groups of dinos, often before you have the chance to grow yourself.
With a server with no apexes, it would be much more enjoyable to play as various other dinos.
Edible Dragonflies and frogs
have you ever seen those little dragonflies flying around and you wanna eat them? (Well...i have) make the dragon flies edible by velos, austros, dryos and galli...and for the frogs, make frogs be edible by all carnivores but spawn way more at swampy areas.
Dryosaurus and Gallimimus were insectivores, meaning they could eat Insects...
I know you can mixpack with herbis, i think it would be so nice if you were able to be in the same group with other herbis 😃 so you know where everyone is in your group 😃

Somehow nerf rexes or atleast change them its unfair for giga to already get 5 shotted by a rex but on top of that bonebreaked the first or second bite. Everybody went crazy when gigas were op and stronger than rex but noone is complaining when rex is better then giga.

Could admins get an /starve command in the future? It would help us clean up discarded ai and body’s and keep servers from crashing. To prevent it from being abused you can make it only work on the person who types it.
Also in the future could herbivores have a sprint ability? It seems unfair that herbivores like galli or pachy don’t have one let alone the others :(
In the future could we maybe get a menu for dryo burrows like nest showing their health and allowing you to destroy them from there. It’s annoying when you make a burrow and accidentally press e and instantly lose it and have to relog cause you’re so used to the nest menu.
im going to assume im not the 1st one to ask for this but regarding the deinosuchus would it be possible to make it so you have to actually click "growth" after reaching full adult to start growing into legendary size? just like any rex/giga from sub to adult that way you are not stuck as a sub forever if you dont want to grow to the point where starvation is insured then people playing deino can enjoy it till something kills them just like everyone else and have the opportunity to keep their critter for a long time if they play well instead of being doomed to die to another player or starvation whichever gets it 1st.
When using nightvision, we should be able to see the ripples on the water. Right now if you turn night vision on the water is just a blank sheet of water. Just a small thing to add, but it gets quite noticeable at night

Yeah, it's probably not top priority (obviously), but after you guys got time for more costumatization, this would be amazing. The game would become more user friendly (just like with being able to use dynamic/static hud)

Larger dinosaur(Apex) footsteps should be more audible from farther away. Depending on weight and size of the creature, this is normally the case with current day animals.

If you roar, you will lose water quicker than usual. I think this servs only good things. 1. A natural way to teach people not to spam call/ use calls too often 2. In real life if you keep yelling your mouth will get dry too. I think it would be a good thing

-Maybe a new idle animation that plays only if you join a pack with older members ...
-Or a new call (would be 5) to create real pack hierarchy without breaking the immersion of the players and would also help freshly spawned players to find protection.

I have a suggestion, maybe someone already made it. But the possibility too bring dead bodys too another spot. So you can actually hunt and bring food back too the nest for the juvies for example.
Maybe add in the feature and later the animation, so a body just dissapears if you press a certain button and it is "stored in your mouth" and re-appears if you press the button

The new loading screen
Thoughts on Collision: My idea for the perfect collision is for the bodies of the dinosaurs to be able to collide. However, the heads and or parts of the dino that do damage, do not collide. This would stop people from walking through each other while still allowing the key parts of the dino to inflict damage. With tails the entire tail should not have collision only the large portions. This would allow people to stop themselves from getting stuck on the end of the tail. Which is a large problem in Ark. An example of the part that does damage not colliding is Rex’s head. When you go into bite it’s head is able to reach he body of the other dino however the Rexes body is stopped.
Please include the ability of smelling dead bodies as a feature in the recode.
In the future when environments are being more worked on, have water with surface algae and more flora, both on surface and underwater, like seaweeds, lotus, etc.
Of course not meant for every body of water, but to add up to the aesthetic of the islands and environment, like maybe one large river + lake in the whole map to have this. In the end the idea of this suggestion is to expand in the environments we’re to experience.

Since gigas are heavier than rex, now, can they be worth more food or be worth as much food as rex? Gigas are garbage for food.
Suggestion: To try and help avoid Combat logging. Have the Safe Log timer reset every time damage is inflicted on the persons dino.
Maybe the logout timer could reset every 65 to 80 seconds? So you have a short time window to log out and then it restarts at 60 seconds again. This would help against sitting in a bush and having safe log ready in case you hear footsteps
A way to “pause” the game for yourself? For example, something comes up and I have to be away from the PC for a minute or two but I don’t want to risk losing my dinosaur because of something I can’t control in RL. And even if I can quick or safe log, there’s a chance the server could be full when I come back.
Maybe it could work by having your dinosaur go “invisible” or something when you’re on a pause screen, but I don’t know how this could be implemented without people using it to cheat their way out of a battle or something (because of course, I know people would do similar to combat logging and just pause the game if given the chance).
A suggestion for the dillo,
Let it be able too eat eggs from a nest
Allow dinosaurs with longer calls, like Rex, Para, Trike, and Giga to at least sit down or get up in the middle of their calls. They have long ass calls and you can't do anything except move or keep sitting down until you finish calling. In fact, ever since the full-body animations update, it seems to take a long time between making a call and you can't go into menus, rest, and a few other things.
Dinosaurs attacking when calling
let anky, para (primary not secondary attack), camara, stego....ect...dinosaurs that do not bite, let them attack when roaring, since it would make sense if you could roar and swipe with stego/anky/camara at the same time.
give all dinos the ability to cancel their call by pressing the same call button a second time... it makes no sense that a dino would sit there and decide finishing their call is more important then defending themself from an attacker

Hmmm, i kinda think that the world feels kinda dead in the isle, even if theres tons of players online, so why not att like different AI packs of herbies, of the sorts that one can accualy play, and also add some AI carnivores that is playable, maybe not apexes, but you know, would bring more life to the game imo.
Make nights on the isle great again, i have a good pc and i raised my gamma i can see everything at night that's so unfair to other players, Fix this please, nights hunts back in the day were so enjoyable.. Nighvision is so useless for me right now.
Maybe some kind of scarring system? Say, every time your dinosaur was reduced to a certain health — 4th screen, or maybe 20% health, a scar would appear that would remain long after they were healed. The second time, another scar in a different place would appear, and the third time, etc. It would be SO cool to see a really heavily-scarred apex and be like "that guy's been through some shit," you feel?
The Isle is a wonderful game. We can all agree that it has a ongoing future. There is a key feature I am missing that is "The Isle" on console. Yes yes you are all probably going to say, it's not possible, its to much for console etc. What if you "downgraded" the graphics kinda like Ark Survival Evolved there is still soo many bugs on console for Ark Survival Evolved yes, but there's not many "survival games" like this on console and bringing The Isle to console would dramatically affect The Isle's population in a very successful way. This is my opinion my Gaming PC Broke and I've always played more console anyways I watch all these great videos by Anthomnia#0001 and soo much great YouTubers and I have a great amount of friends on Xbox in particular and everyone I've mentioned it to has said something like "OMG That BE GREAT" or "THIS WOULD CHANGE CONSOLE" etc... I hope the Developers see this and realize that it would dramatically be good for The Isle... ~ Kenzie!

I will explain, at night as soon as you turn on the night vision you will only see what is in front of you from your dinosaur like a lighthouse, leaving your back exposed unless you turn to look back.
Each dinosaur would project a different view because of the location of the eyes of each species.

I think a small feature but one that could just improve life and gameplay for a bit, is have a slight roar rework. So right now is if you press any of 1-4 keys, it makes a roar that has a certain meaning. I think that there could be a slight change if you get to hold down each key, it would keep roaring for, I think a maximum of like 6-8 seconds. If you just tap it, it will let out a short bark.
This can work for Utah's 1 call as well, for those wondering. If you hold it down, it will continue doing 1 calls at a faster pace.
Another slight thing you could add, if your dino, say, an allo, is nearby a cerato, it might making a slow or deep rumble/growl that will indicate it does not like being around that species. This could help work with the future affinity system once it's added.
Developers: ue4 from design has a lot of junk in the netcode. Squad2 developers openly talked about this issue. They fixed the netcode by removing all the junk.
I feel like an improvement on the misty weather could be cool. Sort of like how theres a chance of rain, and then if it's raining theres a chance for a storm. So if its misty, theres a chance for heavy fog, which would reduce visibility to say the night vision range of a dilo, basically functioning as a short "night" than can happen during the day. My main idea behind this is that it would give the potential for some great atmospheric tension.
Not sure if this was suggested before, but it would be very convenient if they would put in the option to hover and preview colors in dinosaur customization instead of pressing on them. Would make comparing what color combos look best a lot easier.

The tail quickly beat from left to right and so on in a short sprint to avoid getting chomped on by others that wanna kill you in water.
Suggesting this because some aquatic are slower or faster that others, and some land dinos are quick enough to swim over to you in water.
I would like to be able to join a group when I'm spawning before the spawn point is picked to spawn near the group. Aswell as being able to join / request to join a group before a dino loads in so your team dont attack on site before you can tell them its you

Just a thought, as each dino species has it's own stats in terms of speed and bite force..etc. it might be interesting for the game if according to each dino, players can do minor tweaks/choose to pump certain stats(within the standard limit for each dino/max limit each stats can grow to). So you could compensate some speed with bite force or better eye sight during the night. (Dino's won't be OP within the standard stats limit of it's species)
It could make encounters interesting and for players to think twice whether or not they choose to engage another dino of diff/same kind.
So suggestion is that as you grow from different stages you are able to adjust(add) the stats but once you hit full grown it stops and you are what you are according to what you choose. (Eg, You might end up being a slightly faster Rex than others or you bite harder but slower.) That makes fights more interesting. Not sure if it's doable, just a suggestion. :)

To coincide with Dryosaurus burrowing and having a "Meerkat" niche, I'd like to suggest an ability for Dryosaurus to built a "Sentry post" which comes in the form of a large mound. This object requires atleast 2-3 Dryosaurs to build an any dryosaurus can interact with the sentry post, where upon they will climb onto it.
While standing on the mound they are immobile, but are able to look around, Dryosaurs that are interacting with the sentry post have the ability to emit an "alarm" call, this can be done by aiming and clicking on any nearby carnivores within a certain range of the sentry post. Once the alarm call finishes, all Dryosaurs within range of the sentry post will recieve a short, temporary stamina buff, in which their stamina will not drain. This can be used to alert other Dryosaurus within a flock to incoming danger. Attempting to sound an alarm call when there is no danger nearby will not give any stamina buff, and will put the ability on a 1 minute cooldown, to prevent misuse.
To counter this ability, Carnivores can either rely on stealth to avoid the sentrys' gaze, or target the Dryosaur located on the sentry post mound, since the sentry would not only be out in plain sight, but would not be able to immediately flee, as they would have to climb/jump off of the mound.
Successfully alerting of danger could provide a small Affinity increase, incentivising players to vounteer for sentry duty, to benefit other herd members, and themselves.

A possible mechanic that can be put in the game in the near future
Adult Dinos being able to pick up babies and carry them in their mouth like how crocodiles do. Hatchlings and fresh juvies could only be picked,up for bigger babies can put a starin on a adults jaw from how heavy they are. And possibly the adults can have a animation where they scoop up the babies which prevents them from biting so babies can still be snatched at the beginning of the animation. Because at times it can be a hassle trying to travel with a baby Dino when it’s necessary to move also to help take the baby dinos to water when needed.
Make Parasaurolophus have the same running and standing animation as Shantungosaurus.

Just food for thought, because this can be a concern for EVERY game: Suggest that admins/moderators should not be able to use their staff commands while playing on the servers casually. There has got to be some way to ensure that they are doing their job and not abusing powers. Do I know how to balance this idea? Absolutely not, I will continue to brainstorm on this idea. Hints on: only using their admin abilities when they actually need to use them. I am pointing concerns out and NOT pointing fingers in any way. However sweeping this concern under the rug can lead to great frustration to the players and even cause people to quit the game.

Add collision to Dino bodies so that babies can ride on an adults back or for other reasons and please, for the love of god let us carry babies or juvies with us, they move far to slow
my idea of what I think of the herbivore groups I think it's unfair that the herbivores can be different groups of animals all together giving it power to be in groups of 30+ dinos and go kill every animal they see >. < I died for a herd of herbivores yesterday and they were more than 20+ all different and then it annoys a bit that you can not do anything since it is a very large number of them just watch as you die and you lose 7 hours of game by a difference of the rules

instead of a feature for carrying juveniles to allow them to escape more easily i suggest making them faster with a dynamic speed modifier or making their speed consistent and just below adult speeds to make them more viable and able to flee/travel with the herd or pack.
Most things in real world the packs slow down making it more vulnerable to attack

I don't know exactly where the devs plan to go with feathered dinosaurs (regarding the ones we currently have such as Austro and Theri), but I would really like to so possible feather variations in the future, such as different types of crests and tail feathering options. If it's in the works, awesome! I didn't know if it was or not.
I would like to suggest that alternative attacks should be the right mouse button. I just lost a fight to a bleeding Allo as a grown Para because I thought that the right button was the alt attack. It makes logical sense that since the attack on any dino is the left mouse button, the alternative attack would be the right mouse button. Otherwise it's pretty confusing.
Score system that gives you point based on time alive / kills / age etc. Just something for competitive players to do 🙂

Make Giga faster then Rex, most scientific study shows giga were move agile and faster then Rex. so why in The isle Giga is soo crazy slow . buff it's speed to about the same as Rex. Models suggest that Giganotosaurus could run up to 31.3 mph (50.4 km/h), according to a 2001 article in the journal Acta Palaeontologica Polonica. Any faster and the animal would lose its stability and fall over. By comparison, a 2011 study in the journal PLOS ONE computed the maximum running speed of T. Rex to be 25 mph (40 km/h).
Make keeping a dinosaur more rewarding like your dinosaur grows a little larger if it's been alive for 24 hours. I know the horse has been beat to death but scarring would be nice. Something that says, this dinosaur is older then the others. Something that makes keeping a dinosaur alive and safe more visually rewarding other then bragging rights.
A togglable run button would be nice, rather than having to hold shift. Though, I think both should be available for situational stuff. Just a thought, dunno if it's ever been talked about. Toggle could be on R by default, since it's pretty conveniently close to the aswd default controls.

I'm on a bunch of servers with different dinos, and I'm always forgetting which servers and what dinos. Then I thought of this, what if you could favourite certain servers and have your favourites listed in a different tab of menu when you search for servers? And possibly show what dino you are when you hover over the server or look at its info? This would make everything so much easier.

Dilophosaurus need a nerf to their bleed. Many people are losing their dinosaurs to groups of dilos and even pairs. It's a bit OP and people find it unfair.

So i was thinking at times it only seams there are only carnivores online and that they are all Rexs or Gigas then if its herbs its trikes. what i would like to propose is, allow each player to be able to grow 1 of each dino. this will be able to help this because If we could have a cap on each species per server online at a time. for example max unless altered could be 10 rexes, 10 gigas, 10 trikes ( 10 of each Apex, say 50 mid level dinos, and unlimited small dinos. this will keep the population on servers divers. then when a rex dies they will have the option to come back as a new rex and keep their spot as a playing rex or change to a different dino if the caps not full to hunt down their killers. you could also make the number a floating value with server population with the set numbers being
when the server is full. now the two problems i can think that could come out of this is 1 i want to invite my friend to play with me via nesting how will that work? Well if the cap is not full the player will hatch as normal, but if the cap is full the player will not be able to hatch at that time and will need to pick a new dino to play however, the invite time can be logged and when the cap lowers the player will get a notification that they can hatch based from a first come first serve on the invite time. if the player is offline they will be skipped, if the nest is broken the timer will expire and server setting it may need one adult online as well. the second thing that i could see being a problem is that if a player only plays at one site and gets their rex killed at Muddy then they switch to their Giga to go finish the kill, how would this work? I would propose that switching between dinos will have a cool down timer if the location is the same to allow the other player time to heal and leave the set time is calculated off of the longest heal time of all dinos in that class that your changing from. lets see what else others think about this idea in dthe #general-feedback-discussion @sand vault
Pachy Trike and other Horned creatures with something on their head or face should do an immidiate "Charge" damagae to anything they run into and then if their victims are small enough do the trample damage. As well as the Charge damage (depending on the dinosaur) having a chance of doing bone break (Mostly pachy) or the chance of bleed (like trike LITERALY IMPALING something).Of course this would not really affect anything much heavier than the creature that is charging

Dinos should be able to stop a roar to bite. My mouth is already open. No dino in its right mind would be like "NO, finishing this roar is MORE IMPORTANT, so I'm not gonna bite something as it runs past me!"

Please, please, make Allos mouth breathing less loud. Even if you crouch right away after coming to a stop, the 0.2 seconds you were "standing still" are enough to trigger the animation and the sound, which makes hunting impossible unless you just wanna crouch-walk your ass the whole time and take ten years.
Maybe adult carnos can eat ava ribs too. As adult allos can and they're same mid size. Maybe carnos can do the same.
Oh, and: A manual growl call for quieter threatening than a 3-call. Say there's a juvie going to eat a carcass before the adults and you don't wanna alert the entire area to your presence. A low, threatening growl would be really handy for that.

Have stegos damage be fixed and unaffected by weight that way it doesn’t demolish mid tiers but it can stand up to apexes since it can’t run

I’m not sure this is possible but it could be cool. So I think maybe a screen that happens when you accept a egg of a survival dino should appear that you can customize your dinosaurs skin before birth. However, instead of getting all the colors you only have the colors provided by the parents. This way everyone who is nested isn’t just a random or a copy paste and they seem more like children of the parents.
If your dinosaur steps through large foliage or on top of a log, it should trigger a noise that can be heard in a small radius. If you crouch the sound is reduce and if you run it is increased. This will make stalking and hunting as carnivores a tiny bit harder and a little bit more skill based maneuvering around bushes and logs.
A speed buff for small dinos and juvies would be a bit more realistic as usually smaller things are more agile. They probably wouldn’t be like as fast as something like a unambushed giga or sucho so hunting and chasing ai and juvies isn’t a chore.

If it was possible, deeper rivers on Thenyaw would be helpful for if/when deinosuchus is released as currently the only two bodies of water probably big enough is the swamp and Great Lake.

From what I’ve heard the reasoning behind bonebreak being removed was because of people abusing it as herbivores on official. I don’t play a lot of official so I’m not sure if this is true but I do know it is in survival so why can’t Anky have bonebreak. I know most of the sandbox dinos are getting remade, but for people who play sandbox rn Anky is just a apex bait. In real life Ankylosaurus was literally a living tank being armored to the brim, even on its eye lids. Something like that shouldn’t be a push over. Anky should receive some bonebreak and if it doesn’t than maybe it can if/when it is remade for survival at least until combat is changed. Plus it’s not like Anky is going to be anywhere near fast enough to break the legs and torture carnivores in servers with not many rules or no rules at all. It should theoretically be the slowest dinosaur that isn’t a gigantic sauropod. Running away from it wouldn’t be a problem and avoiding its tail is easy enough if your near one as something large.
Maybe you guys could make dinos poop and when other carnivores sniff they see it suggesting theres herbivores in the territory and that they could hunt .
^ something similar to the suggestion above but less uhhhh visual. Maybe by pressing a certain key as a dinosaur you can mark your territory. There could be an animation of something but I guess stuff like scratched trees if you’re a trike could work. If you smell where this happens it will appear as either a red or green haze or cloud. The cloud becomes lighter depending on the size of the animal and the color depending on if it’s carnivore or herbivore. Example would be a austro has a lighter red color where a rex would have a dark red. They disappear after about maybe an hour or a little longer so marking your territory will have to be maintained by the player.
I would like to suggest a rule against complaining in the Discord about being killed. It's a survival game, it's literally designed to kill you and everyone know what they're getting in to. All the salt in the Discord is just creating a bad environment in the community and it's super unnecessary.
Perhaps the isle could have some sort of flooding in the future. If it rains for an extended amount of time, it'll slowly flood during that time.
If and when theres caves, some ambiance including drips and rocks falling. Slight echo maybe?

Possible Suchomimus changes Post Fishing and Proper Water mechanics
'Until he can fish, he'll have a slightly awkward role in between large carnivores and the allosaurus. As of writing this his stats are fully subject to change for the patch being worked on (1/22/2019). However, I (Dondi) suspect to tone down his stats once fish are readily available for him.'
- Give sucho a stationary, claw swipe attack which forces the animal into a defensive type posture. (Neck held back, upper body slightly tilted up to expose the arms)
- Have this stationary mode of attack serve as the brunt of Sucho's raw damage, while also draining stamina if seen necessary.
- This alternate mode of attack also gives sucho a weakness to packs of animals, only allowing it to deal with what is directly in front of it.
-Shift Sucho's bite attack to a moderate bleed with low damage type attack.

Keeping the defensive notion in mind, this bite would serve very little use when in a fight with similar sized animals, being better suited for smaller animals in the size range of juveniles/utahraptors.

Significantly reduce Sucho's ability to sprint on land for long distances, currently the animal has the same sprinting time as an Allosaurus(3 minutes), which goes against the need of staying near water.
- A substantial buff to Trot speed in counter to this would also serve as a nice change of pace, better allowing the animal to move between rivers/lakes if ever forced out/or the fish in the area have been exhausted.
-Sucho Vs. Allo
- Being the larger creature, by a significant margin, Suchomimus holds the undeniable weight advantage, thus rendering it capable of defending itself from an Allosaurus or two. But ONLY, if the Allosaurus come to it, thus allowing Sucho to have the defensive advantage. In laymen's term, Sucho would be very clumsy as an offensive animal, Both lacking the damage(bite), speed, and stamina to keep pace with an Allosaurus, thus promoting it to use its defensive nature.
TL;DR: In a defensive scenario, a Suchomimus should be capable of fending off 1-2 Allosaurus, maybe three if its smart, but in offense its better off backing down
TLDR. Theese changes ultimately allow sucho to actually reliably fend off an attacker long enough to either discourage them, or flee into the water. While also giving it the ability to prey on smaller land based animals if the opportunity presents itself. All of this accomplished without 'dominating the other mid tiers'.

Suggestion: For the threaten animation for the new stego. It flattens its plates, hisses, and sweeps it's tail side to side. You rarely hear any mention of the possibility that they could move their plates and it would be amazing to see that in game.

I really love the concept of grazing dinos, and yes we all know there was no grass when dinos lived, but did u notice theres a bunch of humans buildings all over the place?. I would love to see a bunch of stegos and trikes grazing on a open field. You could make like a patch of grass that has a fix amount of food and can be depleted by several dinos. I think also that Herb playstyle could benefit alot from diversify the sources of food, like adding grass and also trees while reducing the number of bushes, trees that can only be reached by big dinos, like adult paras, camas, shants etc.
Don't thrash old dino's. That will not make it to survival. But add them as AI, so there is bigger diversity in gameplay.
The new Spino concept is pretty as **** but I think the „horn“ on the top of the head should be removed or smaller! Also the vein should be a little bit smaller.

the current system in which ai spawns is broken and needs to be reworked on, aside from the former complaints such as all carnivores being able to survive only eating ai, spawning when you are at 70% hunger which is not a life threataning situation, and thus increasing the number of apexes that afk grow for 6+hours without barely a challenge. But there's also another thing, it alerts herbivores of the location of a predator, whenever I hear an ava screaming at the top of it's lungs I know that there is going to be a predator there so I will avoid the area. It would be one thing if I heard a random ai 4 call then I would be on the alert, but because now ai=predator I can avoid them for the most part. It really breaks the inmersion when something that should be part of the world and/or map is an indicator of carnivores presence. Also for the love of everything make avas call less, their screeches are unbeareble after hearing them for more than 2 minutes.
May I suggest a text channel for asking simple question about the gameplay/rules? If you had a channel like that where everyone can post questions, but only admins/devs are allowed to answer, you'd get a good compilation of Q&As that people can look up and questions wouldn't be asked in the wrong channels. I have a question (about rule) right now, but I don't know where to ask it. I guess I'll ping an admin in a official server channel and hope for a reply.

One very important thing missing from this game is a THOROUGH rules list of not only the Discord rules, but also the in-game rules. There are several rules that pop up some times that are not listed anywhere, but people are expected to somehow know and abide by them regardless. In my opinion, a rule is not a rule unless it is on an official list of game rules, and threatening to ban people for breaking rules that they can't possibly know about is just unfair. Rules really need to be fleshed out and posted, that is one of the number 1 things I think should happen ASAP.
In tow with this, I also think that there should be a map showing the spawn points. Not everyone knows all spawn points, hence making it difficult for some to avoid spawn killing. Even after having played for about 1,5 month, I some times get a spawn point that I had never got before, so simply learning all the points by spawning in yourself takes a lot of time and memory.
Territory and Ai Suggestions
The idea contains two parts, the first is a territorial system that involves adding environmental footprints. Whilst the second part adds benefits and disadvantages for both carnivores and herbivores within or out of the territory they control.
In general, environmental footprints (may it be poop, tree marks, or whatever) would come in different sizes and appear in different colours according to their host’s diet under Q mode when a player sniffs.
Having an alternative way to indicate a solo/group’s territory would let players avoid territories held by different dinos and allow hunters to locate their prey in a more generic location while only providing minimum informations. This would not only add a new play style for dinos on the both sides but also make scavenging carnivores possible. Moreover it makes the game more dynamic in many different ways.
When a territory is marked, it would spawn AIs according to its owners diet. But mostly a grade/size lesser than the territory’s owners which would not danger the adults but add risks on the juvis and hatchlings to discourage mass group nesting or afk growth.
For herbivores, Carnivores Ai spawned would endanger the younger member of the herd yes, but it could also be used to warn if there’s any larger predators around. Moreover, knowing that there would be AIs that would interfere with the fight, even apex predators will have to choose their battle more seriously instead of just initiating the first chance they see something that moves.
As for carnivores, the current ai spawning system is a great lifeline, but it spawns ai far too close to the player. And basically rewards the player for not doing anything. But if it were to change into a territorial spawn, where AIs would only spawn outside but near a carnivores marked territory. It would have to make players work more and take more risks for them to get food. As carnivores will now have to venture out more to find food and possibly defend their territory to secure a constant food supply and not just afk in a place while waiting for AIs to spawn in their mouths.
Right before someone say it’s super abusable, we can reduce the ai carnivores food amount to 10% of their player counterpart <—there
But no matter if you are either a nesting/roaming herbivores or carnivores you will be able to make use of the territory system, so what do u guys think??? #general-feedback-discussion

In survival, when you begin and pick your colors- its very hard to tell if they are actually going to look nice as an adult without going back and forth to a sandbox to see what is a nice color combo or not. I was thinking there could be an "Adult preview" in survival, so you can see what your colors will look like when you turn adult. Just food for thought, because sometimes your colors are so ugly... You have to drown yourself.
If grass is going to be edible for some dinos, it would be interesting to be a resource only available for some dinos, while other food items be it some type of trees, perhaps thistles or nettles, maybe even some sort of swamp algae available for others. This way each herbivore has a different niche, much like carnivores have a set of prefered prey items.
The IK system should make things walk over rocks
Once patriarchs become a thing, incest should be a thing considered. If you are to breed with someone that has blood relation to your dinosaur, the eggs born have decreased stats and have a far more lower chance of survival. Things that could make this is that if/when the egg hatching feature is adding, it is a lot harder to hatch as the baby, their food and water decreases faster and they starve or dehydrate faster, they could take longer to grow, they could also have worse stats. An example of the stats would be a not inbred Rex is faster and more tanky than a inbred one. They could also maybe be guaranteed to be born with a bad skin. They could end up maybe being Albino or just have very bright colors to stick out of the environment so predation on them could be easier. This would stop people from spam nesting people in with their parents or siblings if one of the parents logs off and they wanna keep nesting in more people.

Bit of a suggestion more for the discord, than the game itself. But just from seeing the orange and purple upvote and downvote emotes above, I think it would be nice to have some kind of "official" upvote and downvote emotes for the Isle Discord.
My reasoning behind this is mostly for the suggestion channel, and the Q&A channel (If that ever happenes again, that is.) Alot of users prefer to just leave vague emote reactions to express their feelings on an idea rather than just discuss it in #general-feedback-discussion So why not have a very strict, easy to understand and gauge upvote and downvote system?
Make a name of the dino you kill visible a couple of seconds after you kill it, that way if they decide to go into the water and deny you food you can report them.
At some point in the future, add a server moderator/administrator-only log that shows when and where someone died, and what/who killed them. This could be an additional tool mods could use to manage their server as it would provide tangible evidence of wrongdoing.
Additionally if the GPS coordinates are included, mods could potentially generate their own 'heat map' for activity that they could then share.
apex and other large dinos need to have a trample effect to help kill tacos
I think it would be a pretty useful thing to have the ability to distinguish between one's own tracks and another creatures track via a colour system when using the sniff. Perhaps even be able to make out the difference between friendly tracks i.e. other players in your group.
This makes sense to me because I feel like dinosaurs would use all kinds of different senses for tracking such as smell which obviously we can't utilise through the game so we could at least make the 'smells' visual.
If you want to add a special biome to “hope or an other map pls add a tundra!
This would give a nice feeling to the people and seems really nice.

Suchominus "Rework"
Hi everyone ! It's me today for another suggestion and today will be not a new or rework mechanic but a changement for a dinosaur I love so much but it is finnaly a deception : Suchomimus.
I think this dinosaur can be a lot better than it is now with probably the arrival of recode and fishing mechanic. So now we will see what can be new for this dinosaur.
Firstly, adaptation in water. Suchomimus will be a fisher dinosaur so I think it should be able to submerge, with the recode with 3D movements in water. The objective is not to do a deinosuchus but a dino able to really escape to his predator like giga and rex, whish need just to get ambush speed and run in water and bite one time the poor sucho... With this sucho will be able to come underneath them and escape with his speed.
I think he can scent underwater, and not like a terrestial animal, like a crocodile. You know, crocodiles are able to smell so odours under the water and raise their noses above the water. This can help him.
Secondly, some stats balance. Sucho is strong and bad too, he have good damage and bleed but a bleed heal and resistance who are not very good.. AND HIS HORRIBLE TROT SPEED IN ALL STAGE ! So I don't think sucho need a running speed buff but a walk and trot buff. His turn radius in walk in an horror too and he can't get the think who is behind him, a buff of turn in required. Bleed resistance too need to be buffed, it was said tha it will be the allo counter so made it but in another words. After I think bleed should be nerfed because it's not a bleeder, 20 of bleed is almost same than allo with 25 and an heavier mass. A think sucho should get a stamina nerf in land because he can run 3 minutes and he shouldn't do this. It's not a runner but a walker and a swimmer if he need.
He can't really hunt, he is a scavenger in the game and can't do ambush because his walk speed is so slow... So I think it's the major speed boost it need.
Juv sucho need more love too, I don't forgot this shit. He is so slow and have no stam. These are the only things he need to be better.
Thirdly, new animation. I know it's long to do animations for dinosaurs but Suchomimus have a robotic trot and run, walk is nice. His crouched animation is the same than old but slower so he walk on site.
In new animation we can have new resting position because it's just ridiculous how is the sucho in resting with his legs open large. A waiting animation in water can be a good thing. So sucho will lost his stamina more slowly and it can be like some crocodile and not the swimming animation on site. SO the swimming animation ! It's not a reptile swin, it's an otter... Better than old but not great.
After I don't need to say a caught animation for fishing and a fishing anim too, it's evident than it will be do.
Fourthly, the claws attack of spinosaurid. Dondi said than sucho will have a claws attack, we don't have it... This can give spinosaurs like spino and sucho unique and a new capacity to them. The claws attack can do more brutal damage but less bleed than bite, the jaw of suchomimus is not doing for caught big allo's neck and do so many damage like it but a good bleed yes. This attack need some stamina like 1; 2 or 3 for one slap.
So it's all I have to say about this dinosaur, I hope you agree with me for this poor boy and see you another time for another big suggestion. Bye

Simple Suggestion for Giving Herbivores Interesting Varied Diets:
First off, have it so the common bushes we have now become lower quality food, so what I'm about to suggest next becomes even more incentivise and these bushes just become general fill me ups. Cut their population in half after the change.
Next have clade varying diets based on realistic adaptations these animals have. Clade meaning playables with similar adaptations for getting food.(Ex: Trike and Diablo)
For example:
Gallis and dryos = Berries/Seeds
Ceratopsians = Rotting Tree Bark(bug filled)
Stego(other things)= Grazing
Anky and Pachy= Fruits(knock off of tree)
Hadrosaurs(and Theriz)= Baby Trees/Aquatic plants
Have diet preference have slight variation between species, make these food sources provide great food value and add slight affinity bonus. Make them somewhat uncommon as well so gluttonous species have a reason to fight over it.
Lastly add a super rare affinity flower/plant that may not feed much but provides a sizable affinity buff after enough are eaten(a whole patch). This would provide players a reason to go move around in search of these plants seeing that affinity will have importance, and further incentivise competition between herbivores for a limited resource.
This and specific diets will improve herbivore gameplay and incentivise movement, solving both the issues of player stagnation and a lack of challenge when it comes to survival. Right now your only worry as a player is other players, degrading the current experience down to an only PVP oriented game. Adding more environmental factors and tying them to affinity is a quick way to incentivise more engaging gameplay while tackling gameplay issues. (PS: Also keeping the food volume lower across the board would also help fix both issues as well)
Simple suggestion, enable the camera to zoom enough to play as first person. Just for those who want to feel it more inmersive, or to be able to see at least something when you are walking or ambushing in forest areas
Instead of or in addition to a first person, maybe just add multiple camera angles you can switch between, for example one next to your snout if you want to hide in bushes to ambush and want to see better
I'd like to see apex max pack at 6 ( 4 eggs and 2 adults ) dont like kicking players because they want to grow fully
I would like to suggest that all known rules be listed explicitly stated in a central location for everyone, as word of mouth is clearly not passing the correct information in light of recent events
For example what is defined as stream sniping (Just having the stream open and watching while playing? Actually coming into contact with the streamer?)
(Suggestion related to the discord server) a channel under Community Interaction where we can post fan made memes related to the isle 
Consider making Acro and Giga F-calls less loud? They're several times louder than Utah broadcasts and they're definitely not trying to announce their presence. It makes hunting player characters SO difficult. Rex F-calls at least can blend into the background somewhat, but Acros and Gigas may as well have a semi truck horn for a vocal box.
While we're at it, I'm sure you've gotten suggestions about this before, but please make the acro's 2-call actually friendly... it's really only useful for scaring away potential allies and giving friends trust issues xD

A nocturnal dino that has night vision as if it were day but during the day its vision is blurred at a certain distance making it so your just terrible during the day.
Hears a suggestion: being able to pick up baby dinos. Now I know there has been some debate about this in the past but please here me out. When you are picked up by your parents, at a sertan size of your baby, like... say for example 84.8 or through the amount of wight for the baby OR run out of stamina you will be dropped by your parents. That way you wont be picked up forever
and a cool down would be nice as well
buff the trike (increase the damages, the stam, make it able to regene the stam while moving), in 1v1 against a trike, rex and giga win easely. OR put the pack limit for the trike to 8 or 10. Because 5rex vs 5 trikes, the trikes are fucked and thats trash. It will be more challenging to hunt trikes for rex and gigas and more realist to see some big herds of trikes

Or, how about, dinos can carry their babies as hatchlings, but they can't carry juvies and the juvies are forced to walk beside them. As a hatchling you're damn defenseless aside from your parents, but at least as a juvie you can ward off velociraptors and other juvies by yourself.
I see nothing wrong with parents being able to carry hatchlings. (I don't see many herbivores being able to do it though.)
Once ptera is added, I feel like there should be a mechanic so that the harder it rains and storms, the more stamina it takes to fly because of the strong weather. It would make storms a really scary thing for a flyer and I think it would be a realistic and nice detail to add to the game.
Quality of life suggestion: ability to make an in game list of favorite servers and sort by favorites.

Dunno if it's been suggested already but this is only important once there are more biomes. Maybe when creating your skin, instead of having a black background there are switchable scenes. This way you can adapt your skin to fit multiple biomes so your camo is more efficient
Can you fix, that it sometimes doesn’t shows all or any servers if you search them by name.
Here's a suggestion: If you sprint down a steep hill/mountain, a percentage-based system would cut controls to your dinosaur and let it ragdoll downhill until it settles on more level ground.
From a programmer's standpoint, it would be relatively simple to rig up - large animals having a very high chance of falling downhill while smaller ones have a lesser chance of doing so due to being significantly more nimble.
If carrying is on the table:
- Apex carni's carrying a certain number of hatchlings (no more then four) in their mouth like a gator. Would not be able to do more then trot without killing them all tho.
- Utah hatchlings getting to cling to their mothers sides for travel.
- Juvies getting a tail carry tho limited to a certain number based on species size.
I think para should have an idle and casting animation.
This is weird to see this dinosaur like old ones and not like new with idle, cast anim etc.
I think para idle should be quadrupedal because in walking it is, in eating it is, drinking too and when it start his scent it is quadrupedal.
So with some animation reworking, new dinosaurs animations and other stuff, can we'll get new animation, simple animation, for para ?
And an option with bipedal idle or quadrupedal so we can have diversity in a pack and not everyone are same.
Wet season-Dry season which influences plant growth in certain areas. At 1 place, plants will start growing, in another all plant life will die off. This improves herb movement and carnis will follow. Which leads to more movement around the map

The trees are the only thing to stop hypos. Hypos should demolish trees they run into at full speed

Since the Neuro strains are basically psychic, it might be interesting if they could disguise themselves as other dinosaurs of similar size, including the "normal" version of their species.
Bit of a simple idea, but one I think could be effective. Sticks, if made into an item you can gather in game (which is highly likely for tribal tools and dino nests) should make snapping noises if you step on them. This means you have to watch your feet in general, especially while hunting to not blow your cover. And more clever individuals, if they take the time and effort, could gather enough sticks to make a sort of extremely first-level basic alarm system around a small zone they want to be particularly alert in. A second tier alarm system might be trip wires with skulls full of small stones that ring. Those who are aware of their surroundings would also be able to notice sticks being placed in a more reasonable pattern and thus realize something's up, and either investigate quietly, or move away from the area given the danger they may be in.

Flood system
Whenever a big storm or even a sprinkle happens the water level slowly rises, for instance a small puddle could become twice the size if it rains intensely or even storms, or something as big as twins could flood over and destroy all the plant and gore where the water touches.
Drought system
Whenever there Isn't any rain the water level goes down really slow by default , and so if it doesn't rain for a long time puddles could dry up and big lakes you shrink in size.

Maybe add a rag doll system instead of sliding down a hill and when a Dino is killed don’t make it look like it has a muscle cramp and tenses. And to add on to that give the rex either a lower bone break chance or if it bites the leg of its prey it has a chance to break its leg

Add a system when somthing sits its tail is sorta ragdoll and lays on the ground instead of poiting straight off ground(depending where you sit)
Kinda like what xeno said, maybe have different unique sitting positions for each dinosaur? Herrera has a cute little curl, maybe something like that. Dilo could sit more regally, utah would sit kinda like a big chicken (like it already does) but with its tail also curled, etc.
It would really add more character into the dinos we're playing as.

Apex footsteps ahould be quite loud, as they are, theyre fat asses. Maybe they should be even louder while walking through woodland terrain with all the bushes and sticks snapping beneath their weight
However they should be less loud to the person playimg them as it is headache inducing. Maybe make the sound less of a crash and more of a thump as well, we aren't walking on wrapping paper

Canyon map: (canyon, not desert) not too many mountains but wide lands and large cliffs, maybe carcasses around either gore or dead dinosaurs (from thirst or hunger) spawning from time to time in place of ai.

Snowy map: this could even be the snowy/glacial version of Thenyaw, instead of rain we would get snowstorms that could make it slightly harder to see, small lakes lightly iced but still able to drink from them.
I also am absolutely in love with the natural disasters suggestions! Like a lightning hitting a tree that may fall on you, maybe starting a fire somewhere, floods, droughts, absolutely amazing. I agree with that and suggest it again as a bump for other people to see!
Adding to the disasters idea we could maybe, its a bit of a long shot, have mini volcano eruptions

also this would be cool for some servers that allow mix packing: allow for all dinosaurs to be in 1 group, it doesn’t have to be same species. Just carnis go with carnis and herbis go with herbisI think for some it’d be very much more fun, especially being able to use group chat in a large mixed carni pack, if you’ve done a large mixed carni pack, you know how fun it really is.

I think diablo should get new walking, trotting and running animations.
They look very weird and they are very old and buged, they need to be changed.
Two ideas.
- Allow sniff to continue showing the compass during rain as animals today are perfectly able to sense the magnetic field when the weather is a bit poor. Maybe not during full out lightning storms as the electrical charge in the air might(?) throw them off a bit. But if it's just a drizzle the compass should, IMO, still work just fine.
- Give the appropriate species binocular vision. As a zoom function to let them see things in the distance.
Please make Cama not have animation lock during a stomp, major disadvantage especially when the Puerto can do a stomp in half the time.
Please give burrows a location icon like nests, the amount of time I've lost my burrow now isn't fun anymore

Let Dryosaurus and Gallimimus eat those dragonflies! (Just make it so if dryo bites at the dragonfly(s), the dragonfly(s) disappear with a tiny crunch noise.)

This has probably been suggested before, but please please please make it so that we "hear" sounds from our dinosaur's position and not the camera. It's so disorienting I can't tell where any sounds are coming from

I see a lot of 1st person suggestion. Which lead me to think of an idea, possible mechanic, although small could workout, who knows. Thing is, have a way to toggle while on ambush the ability to go into first person, why only then? Because you'd be able to focus solely on your target, and being your face the first thing to pop out of the bushes, being able to keep your body hidden as much as possible. Just a quick thought/upgrade(?) on the recurring suggestion
Increase velociraptor AI spawn so they run in packs, make it a tad bit more challenging for utah raptors, dilophosaurus, any juvinile dinosaur. Make the AI patrol water sources time to time, to somewhat prevent eating, drinking and afk in bush.
When turning using S-D make the turn more fluent, right now it's just like a stick being rotated.

It's horrible and like old trike but trike wasn't able to destroy all apexs and diablo is able to destroy all mid tier, except sucho.
I feel there should be a system where if you die in a place multiple times, the game should spawn you somewhere else.

i have an suggestion, stop sending every time some huge carnivore to murder someone who is almost ready to grow up to next stage, one or two times alright happens 5 times in a row is just pattern and its just irritating and takes out of immersion. Like really its all quite etc and when the percentage reaches to end point something just pops out of nowhere and murders you. You guys can do better than that

Some way to turn up player sounds without it being attached to ambience. If I’m a big stomper and I’m in the jungle, there is no way in hell I’ll hear anything — even if it’s right next to me.
Alternatively, add a “listen mode”, kinda like a sniff, where you hold perfectly still for a few seconds and the game ambience dims so you can hear better. Perhaps different dinos should be able to listen longer/hear better too, depending on their IRL anatomy.
really work on refining those hitboxes :( im not sure if its just me, but i keep dropping to bites that aren't even close to my dino. dunno if it's just a git gud situation or what, but it's frustrating nonetheless!

AI Activities and Actions
+Velociraptor, Psittacosaurus, Orodromeus and Avaceratops should sometimes go to water sources and drink, so we can have hopes for finding ai at water sources when they are taking a sip. All ai should drink for 3-5 mins and then wander away, if ai spawn away from water sources, some will go to water sources. (help prevent ai over population at water sources.)
+Velociraptor, Psittacosaurus, Orodromeus and Avaceratops should be able to lay down and sleep, so sometimes we can catch them while they are laying down. Extra feature...Let all ai be in packs and when they sleep they curl up together like a family/herd/pack.
+Avaceratops should be able to defend itself, so it will be a challenge when attacking it when being a small dinosaur. (Avaceratops should only be able to hit every 7 secs so it's fair when hunting it...of course this is only for AI Avaceratops not players.)
Make prints on the ground made by large dinos be able to fill with water. It would be rly cool to see a Hypo footprint indented into the ground. It could stay there for about a whole day cycle
Can corpses that have the ability to turn to ribs not disappear while you're eating them? That would be nice. Either that, or instead of corpses despawning, they turn into edible ribs after a certain amount of time.
in regards to the problem that there are to many apexs, wouldnt a good fix be to make it so that if you are taking damage you cant log out? whether its physical hits or bleeds is up for debate. There are tons of times we wouldve killed an apex if they werent able to just lay down and log while we are hitting it.
(For official server rules only): Suchos should be able to hide in water. The rule where even Suchos cannot hide in the water is a little funky... Completely understandable for every other dino that is not aquatic, but Suchomimus is. Hiding in the water is an absolute key when ambushing prey and taking them by surprise. I understand if one sitting in the water to avoid giving its body and avoid being hunted should not be permitted, and that's why I also recommend to add a mechanic of a body killed in water to float to shore (THIS IS CONFIRMEDM, just stating for reassurance) Also... Sucho should totally have a bathing animation while in the water. Just because...
I would like to suggest a mechanism to see the usernames of dinos in your immidiate surroundings. I have now been in quite a lot of herbie herds, and we always want to be open and welcoming to others, allowing everyone that wants to to join the herd. But it has happened one too many times that one or more of those that are not in the Discord group has gone rogue and suddenly killed other herd members for no apparant reason.
Because there is no way of knowing their names if they had not in-game grouped with some of same species, this leads to a lot of mistrust towards those that won't communicate or join the Discord server. Which is not the way it should be, but since the group can't know who is who and actively avoid users that have gone rogue in the past, it becomes a much bigger problem where it's harder to be welcoming to outsiders, which ultimately has a negative affect on the gaming experience for everyone.
The mechanic could be something like pressing a certain button that will show the names of those close around you while the button is pressed. For herbies, it could work all herbie species, and for carnivores only the same species - although I don't see this even being a thing for carnis, since they can't make herds the way herbies can.
I know not a lot will like this suggestion, but I am tossing it out there regardless, as the way I see it, this could have a very positive impact on herbie herd life.
Large herbies such as shant and trike and maybe para should be given trample damage, but only at adult growth stage

Once pounce is in, idk if there is a counter for the creature That's being pounced but maybe we can have an alternative attack where we push our body against a rock/tree/...
This attack throws the utah off of you and does little damage
It would be nice to have some specific larger dinos as AI that could be controlled server-side (whether or not they spawn/are active) so smaller servers could have some slightly more interesting activity while they grow a proper player base.
Things like having small groups of herding herbivores for carnivores to have more interesting hunts, or med sized carnivores to hunt herbivores. Then. larger servers would be able to disable this if they wanted since it wouldn't be necessary.
A lower agression call, there are dinos who have very loud 3 calls, which is perfect for intimidating. However imagine that you are a diablo, you see a bush in the distance but suddenly another herbivore is going to eat it and you want to tell them off but if you 3 call every predator in the area is going to come for you. Or imagine that you are an allo, you just killed something small like a juvie dryo and you are hungry and another allo from your pack comes to eat it and again you want them off without alerting of your presence. The solution? A softer more subtle 3 call in a similar way how the f call can sort of be considered a softer broadcast. In the first case it could be something like the diablo's beak opening and closing making a popping sound, like what wild boars and bears do. In the second, a lower and quieter growl like that of a dog would convey the message "this is mine" directed only to the ones surrounding you. In short a 3 call that could be used to indicate a lower level of agression without having to alert everyone of your pressence
New Juvie Calls
•Utah Juvie's 3 call should be changed to a tiny hiss.
•Allo Juvie's 3 call should be not sounding like it's broadcast.
•Maia juvie's 4 call should be less weird sounding and should sound more sad.

kinda a weird idea off of Questellis's skeleton suggest, but to make such an occurrence more interactive and useful other than just aesthetic, maybe when a creature is reduced to bones certain dinos can be able to break the bones and eat them not to regain food, but to give them resistance from hunger drain? So once you fix the issue of apexs being too easy and too numerous, this could allow them to use those huge bone crushing jaws to slow down food drain until they can find their next meal
maybe smaller carnivores can do it too with smaller little AI skeletons? Just a thought

Possible incredibly useful Gimmick to make Ceratosaurus a distinct choice
So we aren't getting a real ambush or bleed resistance. Fine. Whatever. We can make this work. Let's look at some of what Cerato has been mentioned getting:
-Eats Rotten Meat and Bones
-Can cannibalize willy-nilly w/o affinity penalty.
But it's this last one that I feel we could take to the next level.
Behold the lawless, behold the bandit, behold the honey badger... HE DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK.
Ceratosaurus' main gimmick, to completely offset the sheer mediocrity it has in every respect... would be that it's stats are unaffected by affinity.
This isn't to say what you do playing as Cerato does not shift your affinity on the server, it still would ; so being a Cerato isn;t a carte blanche. However, it would be completely indifferent to it. If you have the affinity of a saint, this sinner doesn't care; if your affinity would make the devil proud, he needs no approval!
The specifics to pull off this inglorious bastard
-Being around a Cerato as another dinosaur would have a proportionally strong negative impact, so nothing likes them (and thus nothing mixpacks with them);
-They'd gain affinity for eating others of their kind, so the way to redeem yourself from being a bad apple is killing other bad apples and feasting on them;
-Their affinity would not affect any of their stats; hunger drain, thirst, stamina, damage, you name it, it doesn't care;
-Their bodies would leave little in the way of edible food due to being like goddamn vultures;
-Increased Scent range on gores
-Would be overall weaker than the rest of the mid tiers, not really that good BUT they would offer an alternative option to anyone struggling with the affinity system and as such, a Ceratosauurs would outclass a "low affinity" mid tier;
-They'd have very ravenous appetites thus encouraging them to be completely aggressive and cannibalistic;
-Their affinity would not be affected by whatever biome they live in, so they are highly adaptable;
-The SEVERE weakness to bleed they have would offset their potential to form dangerous packs if they find a way to not eye eachother like steaks
End result, you have Ceratosaurus that occupies it's own actual fuckin niche beyond """scavenger""" and is an incredibly viable choice for players to go for.
Maybe sometime in the future, there could be a revamp of v2 and v4. Would be interesting to see such a nostalgic maps be brought up to today’s standards of playing. I do know it would take a long time and probably cost a lot considering how hard and how long they’ve been working on v3.
Growth differentiation and its pros and cons
Was reading something about frogs and how their adults shows stronger and weaker build in their body build depending on which point of time they metamorphosis.
Wondering if this could be an idea to be implemented in the isle, since we are gonna have creature(s) that are gonna grow non stop. Thought it would be cool ass to differentiate each individual.
So, the idea is to let each individual to have a more flexible growth schedule.
Instead of only being able to grow when a dinosaur reaches 100% growth, allow ones to choose if they would grow between 95% - 105%.
What’s the difference you ask? In my train of thoughts, the smaller you are when you grow, the less time you will consume(no shit). Other than that, the individual with smaller size will also have a lesser weight/bite force when reaches its maximum growth cap( depending on when they grow; states wise 95%sub -> max 95%adult). But it would also consume less food and water, and walk slightly fast than it’s heavier counterparts, but with less stamina.
In events of disaster, like drought or flooding; long marches across deserts, lesser consumption for individuals would give them a slight upper hand against their completely grown counterparts.
make footprints in nightvision yellow too would help us a lot so we don´t need to turn night vision off ty

Fix the hitbox on Rex, for the love of god, I just got killed by one while I was 5m infront of it.
When corpse dragging is implemented, also allow herbivores to rip branches off the bushes they eat and then carry that branch nearby so they can find a safer place to eat if desired.
I'm assuming corpse dragging will have weight limits imposed so we don't have velos dragging fully grown giga corpses. So similar limits could be imposed on herbivore branch/bush moving. (Larger dinos can move a whole bush while little ones can only grab hold of a few leaves, for example.)
Also maybe have a speed limit imposed while carrying branches in order to prevent herbivores always carrying around some food for later use. As in you can't run while carrying branches, and/or your stamina doesn't regenerate.

I would love more feathered dinosaurs. Maybe microraptor, or even an oviraptor? Also, please let us customize the austro patterns. That's one of my favorites to play, and the only thing that would make it more fun is the variety.
I know they don't want to make herbi hypos.... but a hypo trike would be so badass. Especially one that's so mutated it turns omnivore/carnivore... So here's my sketch of it. I imagine it mutating and then cannibalizing its whole herd, something like that could really add to the horror. Imagine one of your own kind turning on you... Hunting every last one of you down...

So I've seen people talking about having options for different horn shape and etc, what about different head shapes for the pterosaurs to make them look like various species? Would be simple, and add a whole lot of variety and (sorta) new species to the game.

Nerf cera turn radius, it's too op
Have an area in the discord for advertising private servers.
I would like to suggest a rule against attacking if you log in on someone's face, and likewise against attacking someone that logs in on your face. Examples:
- I once logged in as an adult Giga literally on top of a big juvie Trike. I 2 called and left it alone. In situations like this, the dino that you log in on has 0 chance at al - had no opportunity to see you coming and hide - hence I think that it is as unfair to attack them as spawn-killing.
- From the other perspective, I once logged in as a juvie Trike myself, and a pack of sub Gigas was on my face. I didn't even get to move before they killed me. (Funny enough, because they killed me so fast after I logged in, some glitch occurred where the one that killed me died as well, pffffh.)
When ambushing, have Suchomimus open their law a little, waiting to gobble up whatever they're chasing? Similar to how Allosaurus open their arms when ambushing. Just something small.
Maybe a little scaling up for all dinosaurs or at least survival dinosaurs could be helpful. Some dinosaurs that are taller than humans are only as tall or a little taller than a door on the radio tower by twins lake and dinosaurs like Triceratops can fit their entire body into that dumpster looking thing at the radio tower on Thenyaw(not sure what exactly it is but it doesn’t seem that big) and yet Triceratops was 9 meters long. The grass is almost as tall as a Psittacosaurus which is as big as a dog.
Changing my previous suggestion (From Yesterday 21:02) maybe just make days as long as nights instead

once bodies floating back to shore is a thing could you guys add collision ragdoll with the bodies, that would neat if you wanted a more reliable way to bring the bodies to where u want.
I know dinosaur suggestions are kinda shitty, but I was thinking, if Pachyrhinosaurus is still planned to be made and not abandoned maybe there should be a hadrosaur counter part since we have Maiasaura and Avaceratops, Parasaurolophus and Diabloceratops, and Shantungosaurus and Triceratops. I thought if they did ever decide to make a new hadrosaur Iguanodon would be a possible good candidate. Iguanodon could add a new kind of play style for hadrosaurs due to it’s Thumb Spike, it would allow for a more offensive hadrosaur. It definitely wouldn’t be as tanky as shant or as fast and para so it would probably round out. It’s primary form of attack would of course be the thumb spikes with mouse 1 and mouse 2 as the respective hands. The attacks would definitely be the second strongest kind of hadrosaur attack behind the Shant’s stomp because the weight of that stomp would definitely be more deadly than some thumb spikes. They could deal bleed, but if it becomes overpowered it could be removed. It would probably primarily stay bipedal for it’s run, trot, and idle, but the walk and limp would be quadrupedal. It’s stamina would probably be a little less than Parasaurolophus since it’s not quite as much of a runner. It wouldn’t need a sub adult stage since the small juvenile would only need to have developing thumb spikes and the adult with fully developed ones. I’m not sure if there is anything else to add to this, but if so let me know and I’ll edit this post.
I think it would be very cool if we had some bigger AI, for example corythosaurus or pachyrhinosaurus since you already have models for them iirc(and they could reuse animations of playables). They could spawn randomly on the map in herds of 1-4, slowly wandering around, maybe making some noise every now and then (not as much as current AI). Cory could maybe fight back at low tiers, pachyrhino might be able to fight back against mid tiers if not heavily outnumbered, just to spice things up a bit. This would encourage mid tiers and apexes to travel around more and not farm oros at the same lake for hours, as many apexes do. There would still be some small AI needed to help unlucky people who cannot find bigger AI, but there should not be enough small AI spawning to feed an apex forever.
I think eating players is a better option, but AI is still very important in my opinion, especially on servers with maybe 100 slots or less on a map as big as V3, as it can get very hard to find other players.
In the future, I think putting the old Rex roars onto some kind of large carnivore would be a real save in money and time for the dev team. Plus they were honestly really awesome and unique sounding.
Pachyrhinosaurus does not deserve the AI shelf or whatever you devs have planned for it. It could be genuinely different than dibble and overall just a nice addition. There's likely someone with a bigger idea out there, but it'd essentially be a bruiser esque ceratopsian. Pure raw, BB, and the ability to flip dinos over if that doesn't go to dibble. Please give it a chance. (arguably we'd be fine with just dibble but please)
idk if I posted this before but, once dino slots are in, make a counter for the max amount of apex dinos, that is rex, giga and trike.
- Add a new tab to the server list that displays if we have a dinosaur on that server.
- If we're ever allowed to have multiple dinosaurs per sever, display how many are on each server.
- If we're given this character/dinosaur tab, maybe display which species of dinosaur are on the server when mousing over the number that indicates how many are on the server. Mouseover instead of a static display in order to save space on the server select screen.
Trike 3 call should include some sort of stomp/head toss in it. Just doesnt sound/look as menacing as it could be ^^;

we should have 5 slots or maybe 6 for dinosaurs.
Respawning and trying to switch to a different dino should have a timer to wait until you can switch to another slot (time adjustable by server owners).
A play should be able to have only a few apexs like 2. (slot for apexs adjustable by server owners)
make it so dinos get some visual tweak that progresses over time as its played so that its cool to have been alive for so long, i myself and many otherplayers have had adults and with only one account they got bored with that dino and just staight suicided it and if a visual tweak is to out there by this i mean scars broken teeth gashed horns longerfangs ect.. , then have a setting so that the longer a person is alive as a dino lets say 50 hours logged as an adult para without dieing this skilled player can be rewarded for their love for the dino without getting burnt out and ability to survive with a wider spectrum of colors to change your skin with in the next spawn, the longer they live the futher out on the spectrum they go , if they wanted to show off mabe they get neon green spots on their back after so many hours logged lmk what u think

Ok, this may sound like a lot to ask for, but I think it should happen. I don’t expect this to happen soon, I’d just like to share my idea.
Herrera buffs, big buffs: so I’m going to get straight to it, more health, more bite force, more bleed.
Health. So here’s the deal with herra health, it is way to weak. I don’t enjoy getting basically 1 shotted by a juvie giga when the whole point of playing herra is to hunt small things, like juvies. I think it should be at least 750 kg but 800 at the most.
Bite force: I think it should be around 80-100, so we could at least do some more damage to larger juvies, 80 would be ideal.
Bleed: ok this is the most important part. It’s bleed should be around 15-20, so it’s not too bad, or too good. Also large herra packs could even bleed out and kill dinos like Ceratosaurus and maybe even allosaurus.
What else? Ok so I think herra should have at least one of these 2, burrowing, or better night vision. Better night vision i see as very appropriate for Herrera, it gives them a good time to hunt, since they can really hunt in the day that well, they should be able to hunt in the night. Night vision really suits them well. Burrowing. Burrowing would give them a nice, safe place to hide. Not much else to explain here.

Either a confirmation for a nest invite or a way to disable them. Super frustrating when you're waiting on a group invite and some random send a nest one and you accidentally click.
Need to improve smell on some dinos (especially Rex) as the rex was known for its incredible smell range and being able to identify what it was smelling before seeing it. Would be awesome to see this in future on some dinos.
With dinos that have long necks like galli, dryo, camara, pue/brachi, it'd be neat if their head turning could complete a near 360 degrees when you move your camera.

Respawn button with a timer. Bleed or damage resets the timer. Timer should be 90 seconds. Im really sick of trying to die because of shitty spawn. Or simply just let us use spawn regions. Like many other survival games

Sub giga could use a bit of a buff. If you compare it to sub rex it is trash. If your a sub rex at least it's viable to play, but sub giga gets it' ass handed to by everything living creature that can press mouse 1. It shouldn't exactly be super strong, but it should at least stand a chance in a fight with something on par with sub rex.
More solid greens (and other non faded colours) in skin select, we have a pretty gross selection right now. Also more vibrant dilo colour options would be nice, as venonous animals tend to sport reds and other bright 'warning' colours.
Carnis and herbies should both have access to the full colour selects
For Discord: Having a seperate channel for Dev streams so that people won't be mislead when there's an announcement for it to be a dev stream instead. I like watching the streams, but when I see a notification for announcements I think it's going to be a game-related announcement and not a live stream, if that makes sense.

Instead of shortening calls, make it so you hold down the call, it starts off lower pitch and it gets higher pitch as you hold it. The duration of the call can be the same as it's normal call or if the devs want to map it out a different way like shifting tones, and starting up a call etc.
also turn off collision for small rocks for dinosaurs over a certain size of something functionally the same. Having some huge dinosaur get stopped dead in it's tracks by a 4 inch tall rock is dumb.

Okay my actual zoology suggestion for ptera to have a normal but fun call is mash up a hyena laugh with a gull, maybe some vulture in there for good measure? Would say to mix up a kookaburra and hyena for a good mocking laugh call but idk if thats too close to austro.
There was a map a few years back, I wanna say about 2 or 3 years now, that had a really awesome crater with a place that everyone called the Oasis. This place was a jungle/paradise looking watering hole with beaches as well and it was absolutely beautiful. I don't quite remember if it was a modded map or if it was an offical one because it was back when mods were allowed on the game. However I do remember it did have another jungle area that had treehouses as well as a great planes area that had tall grass in which Utahs could fully hide in. Anyway I would love to see something like that implimented into the game again because it was just well.. that beautiful.
There should be a general normal art section.
Since lot of people miss Family Sharing and having more dinos on one Server, perhaps having more character slots would satisfy people. But to avoid Revenge Killing with a second Apex, maybe make it that you can only have on Apex ( Carni/Herbi ) and the other slots must be the other tiers.
4 slots -> low tier and mid tier
1 slot -> apex ; rex, trike, gigs etc.
Have herbis (that can crouch) get the ambush speed too, literally all it serves for is a way to attempt to sneak away, but if ur caught then ur fucked cause any carnivore cam catch up to you
Please add a white spine colour (body 3/last colour slot). Having to pick that bright yellow (utah4 i think) colour in order to somehow establish an albino look, just makes you look like butter. If not white, it would be nice to have a light grey, close to white colour.
With different biomes coming and affinity system closing in, I was thinking of a way to seperate herbies into different groups. The way this can be done is by making food for specific species and grass as universal food (since grass will be added).
Now all kinds of food will be available for herbs, but only 1 plant species is 'best' for a specific herb to eat, or maybe shared between 2 species (for example dibble and trike share same food). What I mean by this is, all herb food can be eaten by all herbs, but only 1 plant will give all the nutritional values the animal needs.
Now, we've been talking in suggestion discussion how this can be implemented, and at first my idea was to make a certain biome spawn only 1 specific plant. That would mean that herbs need to go to that biome to grow optimaly. But that received some comments and we've been discussing how it could be viable, we've come to this.
All plants will randomly spawn around the map in small quantities for all herbs to eat, but in each specific biome, there will be an abundance of 1 food (there will be others spawning ofc). This way, herbs are not bound to 1 spot and they are still able to move around without starving. This change was made because carnivores could camp out 1 place because they would know where to find a specific species of herbs.
The purpose of the change to plants is to populate the entire map and have different species on different places. This way we don't have 1 giant clusterfuck of herbs in 1 place.

I would like to suggest a Savannah plains biome, the document above describes topics such as where a potential Savanaah biome could be placed on the upcoming map, potential solutions to the issue regarding the rendering of tall grass and unique characteristic for the biome, to help it stand out from other in-game locations and enviroments.

I'd like to suggest something. In my opinion, Giganotosaurus should be faster than a Rex. If a rex spots you, there's like no escape, it will break your bone and you can say bye bye to your Giga. If Rex has a bonebreak, why couldn't we give Giga speed? It could be way better to play as a Giga then.

Instead of giving us access to loads of colors during dinosaur creation, we instead start off with only the colors associated with our chosen dinosaur and have to then earn the other colors.

Carnivores - Earn new colors by eating other dinosaurs. EX: Say you pick a dilo and start off with only varying shades of green. You go out and eventually eat from the corpse of a trike. You'll then be able to pick some blues for your dilo. Going after, or stumbling across the corpse of, higher tier dinosaurs than yours rewards you with "better" colors or simply more options.

Herbivores - Earn new colors by eating the different flora types, once they're implemented. Berries could give you brighter colors while maybe bark could give you the deeper brown/earthy colors. Make the decision whether getting that new color is worth the potential downside of eating the wrong food for your species.
The new colors could act as a sort of badge of honor that you took down a species enough times to get all their colors, or that you as a herbivore survived long enough to make it across the map to get a certain color.
The unlocked colors should, in my opinion, only unlock on the dinosaur species that you were on when you gained them. That's to prevent people from getting on an apex/fast herbi and farming all the colors without much trouble.
Another sort of quasi-hardcore option would be to have all the colors you've gained on your current dinosaur get wiped when you die.
A separate but related idea I have for this is the ability to change colors after your dinosaur has been created. Maybe let us swap colors around while sitting on top of a nest. I haven't put much thought into this part, but I do like the idea of acquiring a new color and being able to immediately swap it onto your current dinosaur.

Just a quick revision to coincide with the new information regarding Spinosaurus, removed the weight class section due to that being changed post-recode and added a few paragraphs on human interaction. Just wanted to gague any criticisms before I most likely end up revising the entire suggestion post-recode.

An option for first person view would be cool for navigating tight forests or just wanting a more immersed gameplay.
This may already have been suggested, but having been playing herbivore a lot recently I've found that it can be quite challenging to find a herd; right now the only way to join someone is to spam invite the server list or get lucky and stumble into someone. If a player is already in a group they will not receive an invite so they have no idea you want to join. I would like to suggest the idea of a 'herd list' manager, in which you could open a tab and see all available herds of your species and how many members they have, and request an invite to one. This could even be factored into the breeding/nesting system if there was interest in that
Secondarily, I have some thoughts on the nesting system. Currently outside of 'rp immersion' or being immediately moved to a group, there is no real reason or benefit to be nested since you grow faster and can reach resources more easily as a juvenile compared to a hatchling. Similarly, since male dinosaurs are much flashier than females and generally have lower camouflage as a result, females tend to be a preferable choice for survival. I'd like to suggest the following idea: Males can breed (no animations) with a female to produce eggs for a nest. In addition to allowing random users to be nested in, if the male dies at any point he can immediately choose a dormant egg and respawn there, perhaps with a faster growth period, thus giving males an actual reason to want to pair up with females, and similarly females could utilize the same system if they die, giving them a reason to want a male around to fertilize eggs. This would also give females a reason to want to stay together; if one dies, the others can 'foster' feed it until it reaches juvenile stage. As a male, you would want the maximum amount of females available to keep you with your 'extra lives' going, so males may end up competing for females, a heavily requested feature by the community and one that the devs have expressed passing interest in several occasions. This would give the nesting system much more use and importance, and would give both males and females more reason to chose one or the other and affect play styles
to prevent people from going in after water dinos to kill the min water while being a land dino, only allow water dinos to bite while in swim animation, so if any land dinos go in after a water dino the ycant attack in deep water while in the swiming animation.
Giving Dilo a small jump?
Currently there are 3 herbivores able to jump, while (for survival) only Utah can jump.
Dilo and Utah are in similar places being small carnivores, but only 1 can jump despite dilo being only slightly heavier than pachy.
Before people scream op, giving Dilo a jump similar to pachy (splat stunlock animation on landing) wouldn't really effect much other than allowing climbing of some structures, and wouldn't be as abusable in combat as a Utah jump due the short stunlock.
This would be great for people who like exploring, and for more realism based servers, it would help to get Utah's off their rocks
So crocs do these super loud bellows to attract mates and declare territory that use infrasound that carries over a huge distance, would be cool if deinos broadcast worked like any other species but ALSO send out a low rumbling noise over a huge area, much larger than calls normally travel. (maybe only able to be heard by other deinos?)
Also give deino corpse dragging for LIVE players so it can try to yank them in the water.
Make it easier to tell how steep a hill is or at least where it's safe to run. I'm tired of breaking a leg every time I run over a 2 inch dip
Going to type this with a little bit of salt. I main Diabloceratops, I love playing the little booger and enjoy it when I am able to find a herd. Herbivore herds are very scarce on most any server I play on outside of those niche ones that are strong or fast. On most of the servers I play on, there is an extreme lack of herbivores because there's no incentive to play one other then to play one. It's not enjoyable, it's extremely difficult because on most servers there's a huge amount of carnivores vs herbivores. In some cases it's so bad that carnivores take to hunting carnivores because the population imbalance is extreme. I can understand the reasoning, people want to see big numbers or do damage, not eat bushes. I don't even know how to fix this problem because... there's nothing I can think of. Just... give it some thought. There needs to be more incentive to play an herbivore then a carnivore.

^ Make ai spawn when you're at 50% or less, not 70%. Rarity of larger ai (avas and oros) should be increased so apexes aren't thriving on them.
Please give us less watered down/muted colors. Most of the dinos that exist look like they're dying of blood loss when they're perfectly healthy. Obviously don't give us neon and shit, but colors nice enough to pass off as good looking. Tired of the same cheeto orange/albino utahs because nothing else looks good.
Decorate the waters edge and underwater with aquatic plant life including edible plants for herbivores, like reeds/water lilies, razorgrass. Would provide interesting ambush camouflage for things like Suchos and also make bodies of water look less ad hoc and more apart of the environment.
Walking on land should take energy and running on land should take a lot of energy as a deinosuchus
Make more skins, so that not everyone is looking the same and just diff pattern colors, cause it's boring, add like 2 more skins to every survival dinos, so u will see diff colors, more creative skins, more beautiful dinos etc..
To follow DarkBeauty's suggestion, maybe have more various patterns such as stripes, spots or inspired by real animals that can be changed in the skin menu : (this herrera was a good exemple)

Fix the glitch where when you safe log it doesn't safe log, my friend lost his rex due to this glitch/bug.
And he starved out.
Increase Giga Speed and match with it's animation looks like giga is wanting to launch but the dev are holding it back.

If possible give dinosaurs from the same species the ability to fight each other in a more specific manner that doesn't cause them as much harm, example: trikes and dibbles locking horns, rexes biting each others jaws...

I think the future The Isle map, with how large it is (2 different island and many rivers, 3 big lakes) need more biomes. Players want more diversity and something whish will change their gameplay.
I have some ideas of biome, but not the real localisation, and I think these addition will be able to change things and enjoy people.
Firstly the savana. Many people want it and it can be great ! A new briome with tall yellow grass, some open area and like said Kingjaffad the termite mound, new food for insectivore.
In The Isle map we have many fir sapin or jungle so savana can be a changement in gameplay. I won't explain it, @gusty egret explain it better than me in his previous suggestion, you can all go see it ! Many foods for herbivores like bush, trees and low plants and tall grass for small and medium-sized predators.
Secondly mangrove swamp. This biome can be nice for semi aquatic dinosaurs like suchomimus, spinosaurus and the deinosuchus. This area can be difficult to acess in adult but great for all babys. Fish can be many for these dinos and this give a good advantage for them to growth a time. This can give a disadvantage when they get adult because they are very tall and can't pass across mangrove trees and fish are numerous but small and adult won't be able to eat them.
Thirdly estuary. This area is an open area around beach and can have some type of food for herbivore like grass and can be nice for nesting like the in the Walking with Dinosaur movies, the nesting area of pachyrinosaurus. And this can be more realistic for the end of a river not like we have now.
Fourthly, swamp. I know swamp are in the map but I think more about a swamp like in Florida or most like a bayou. Trees in water and some aquatic herbs with water lenses. This can be the perfect environment for deinosuchus and can be exploted by Pteranodon with great trees for doing a nest.
I think these biomes can be a great indeed and can change gameplay for everyone, give more diversity and not only temperate forest/jungle.
So I hope than people approve it and understand me for the lack of environment

- Make a "feedback discussion" channel. Probably mods and even devs are saw it, how many times there's a discussion beetwen people in the feedback channel. It's because people want to directly share their opinion about that feedback or just talk about it as soon as possible. Just make a feedback discussion channel so people won't be confused and won't use "feedback" channel to talk with each other about their feedbacks.
2.- Official format to bug reports. The reason is easy. Report will be easier to read and will be more informative, and maybe easier to see wich bug was reported multiple times so people won't report it again.
Once courpse carrying is in, make it so things like rex can scoop up a utah or galli with one chomp
just let us see what we have in a server so we dont log into the wrong one and go "oh shit oops" and then have to spend an entire minute logging out

there should be some kind of awareness buff, was fully aware as subadult Giga of fully grown Trex near by and noticed him from afar charging me so i ran right away, it should not be that if you are aware or notice someone hunting you from far distance that its not rewarding at all, should get some adrenaline shot from it or something similar and give you running boost. If hunter gets tho close enough to the hunted then of course too bad for me but noticing someone coming from afar should be rewarding.
FOR AI - it would be cool to have AI herds or packs, just cooler to see and to have a more lively world and it would be nice to eat eggs from the nests as raptors, maybe add AI nests or somethiing similar idk

I think spino nasals should be more in the back of skull. When we see it with the concept of remodel it's very much farward and spino have these hole were far backward.
when you run out of stamina in the water instead of staying above the water and not breathing you should actually sink.
Idea for apex predator: Titanoboa
A favorites system in the servers so that you can favorite the servers you like to play on so you don’t have to search the servers you like.
A size system, this is how it works: dinosaurs IRL were probably varying in sizes as adults. So an idea is to make at least 3 sizes, small, medium, and large. So I need to explain medium first, medium would be the sizes we have now, just regular size, or the default size. Small would obviously be smaller, a small adult would be just a bit smaller than medium. So then large would be just a bit bigger than medium. Also, you guys could make a more rare-to-get size, extra large, which would make your Dino even bigger than large. The size would not change your stats, but it’d make the game a bit more fun. The only down side I can think of to this is making it difficult to distinguish full adults from fresh or mid growth adults. To fix that, for males you could make it so when you grow, males detail wouldn’t show fully until you got to full adult, so when a Dino has full growth, that’s when it’s detail will first show, instead of fully showing right after you grow. For females, I’m not sure, you guys can decide, but personally I believe this suggestion is my best one yet, and I suggest a lot of things, I really hope the devs see this and maybe even consider it. 😁

Make cerato a grossboy and give it the ability to spray musk. Sprays backwards and anything it hits can't smell for a while and also lights up like ribs to anything else sniffing. Gives it a really strong scavenging niche since not much will want to attack them so they'll have a better time getting in on bodies and etc.
Group character screen should show the gender and growth of your pack/herd members' dinos alongside their steam ID, name, and ping

I've probably said this before but I feel that the render distance should be upscaled a little and maybe some detail into objects far away, and apeture could also hide some of those issues form a distance.

Some of the male detail markings could be less odd compared to their actual body pattern? Cerato's in particular kinda makes them look like they have mange when you pick red or white as your detail colour, I think spots would work better.

For the admin commands, your able to ban a certain steam ID, but for the other commands such as /goto or /grow.. it can be a bit of an issue to do so if the player has the same name as someone else. What i suggest is to have the same thing as the ban command, it could just be /growid [steamid] or something like that.
You could add another croc, Kaprosuchus, which most likely will also be ambush, but either has more stamina or speed compared to the Deinosuchus, making it slightly more terrifying, or allow it to just thrust itself out of the water, jaws open. Another thing it could do, due to the large teeth, after launching out of the water, it could do a latch on and shake similar to a shark, until out of stamina, or the prey dies. (Large creatures like a Maia can only be held onto by it.)
You could also add the Diplodocus, which are decently small, but most likely prey for a rex or giga, a pack of them, they most likely attempted head strikes to break jaws, or break ribs with their tails, and are quite dangerous to younger apex. (The attacks are just assumptions.) They also could push other herbivores with their heads if there's danger, to make them move to allow them to defend unless they're to die. (Would be cool to see them in action as a herd defending against predators.) I would assume the juvi's are big enough to have a chance to fend off a juvi or sub rex, depending on age.
If humans are added, they could use bolas to trap animals, or if timed right, prevent a croc from snapping down on them, locking their jaws shut for 30 seconds to a minute, to allow them to kill or flee from it.
Getting bit, kicked, stomped extra in the tail (especially the tip) should not 1 shot you even for big dinosaurs like cerato getting bit by rex
Can there be a special thing so that when carring courpse is out and the courpse is to big to carry, they can tear a chunk of meat?
Make sandbox dinosaurs that become ai like Ava more buffed for players so they are more fun to play in sandbox servers but their so counter parts are weaker to be balanced for carnivores eating ai

Or even have a combat system totally reworked, so that the fights look like actual fights ? just some ideas, guys

Add Terror Birds, with the ability to bite and claw it's prey, both possibly causing decent bleed.
Make cera bodies worth more food and dilo bodies less, now a dilo body can fill a rex hunger from 30% to 100% and a cera is like 4-5 bites for a rex
Make it possible to sniff when in ambush mode perhaps? Kinda annoying losing the stance and speed buff in order to stand up and hold Q again and then crouch again
Night time is way too long, change night time to like 15 mins and day to 30, its getting annoying
I think lights and shadows in V3 should get a little rework. Some times we have white light and after a yellow one.
I think it should be yellow when could come and more luminous when we don't have any cloud or not when we have just some little one.
Sun rise too new some changment, I think about V2 sun rise. It was so much beautiful and more optimized than right now (I new got lag during it).
After I hav other thing for V3 and Thenyaw map I want that come back : open areas and flowers. It was so pretty and a type of security for herbis herds. For example of flowers go see in #thenyaw-screenshots @calm cosmos's screenshots.

can we please have more ai spawn and more bushes for herbivores, you can't ever seem to find food unless it's another player when the server is above 100 players

Can we give giga less damage, maybe, 400, perhaps? Giga's massive amount of bleed is going to waste with of the massive 700 damage, 6.45 tons and 6k health, which allows giga to melee Trikes and Rexes, and it absolutely demolishes mid-tier carnis to where they have no defense against it. I've seen way, way, way too many gigas utilizing their damage and bite speed to take down rexes and trikes via melee, when melee-brawling is supposed to be Rex's thing.
I think it would be nice if when it rains, random puddles of water would occur around the map for a limited amount of time. It would bring a bit more variety to where you can go/stay if you could also drink rainwater some times. 😃
Here is what I hope for Giga, Rex, Trike, and Spinosaurus in the future:
Giga will receive much less damage but deal massive bleed to compensate, and have a faster bite than rex. It will have less health, a beautiful trot, walk, and crouch speed, but terrible walk and trot turn, since it is not meant to brawl and is more of a hit-and-run. Giga will be faster than rex in its basic sprint and much better to turn with, but its ambush will only give a tiny boost of speed, but last much longer than rex's.
Rex deals massive damage with a 100% chance to break your leg if he hits it and a high critical-hit ratio near the spine and neck. However, his strengths come with drawbacks, as he is very slow to run, but has a decent trot speed to compensate. To give him an edge in brawling with his opponent, he will have decent turn for his size when he walks and trots, but have medicore turn when he sprints. His ambush will be fantasic to witness, but it will last a short amount of time to prevent long-distance chases.
Trike will have an armor mechanic, which makes attacks anywhere around his horns and frill do very little damage unless anything with a crushing bite or blow, such as a rex bite, hits them, which has a decent chance of lowering his defense or breaking a horn. Trike, being quadruped and having his center of gravity very close to the ground, will have fantastic turn all around, and since he is the only creature in existence to have a ball and socket joint in his neck, he will be able to turn his head much more quickly. This 8.2 ton behemoth will be a challenge to kill, but if a rex or a rex pair is lucky, they will have food to last them for days.
Spinosaurus will be a hybrid of the terrestrial Spinosaurus of old and the new Spinosaurus. He can efficiently catch fish with his pressure sensors on his snout, conical, crocodilian-like teeth and rapid-fast bite. His powerful tail allows him to swim faster than most dinosaurs can dream of, but his bulk on land makes him a quite slow beast, Because of the sail on his back, he will have a wide turn radius, (think of a sailboat trying to make a turn) but it protects his spine from rex's crushing-bite from the top, which can easily kill other dinosaurs. To defend himself from other predators, Spinosaurus will be able to quickly bite and grip onto dinosaurs' necks with his jaw, which will not do much damage, as his teeth did not have serrated edges like Carcharodontosaurids and Tyrannosaurids, but it has massive meathooks for claws to do quick work of the jugular veins and carotid arteries of its prey, or tear them to bits small enough for his jaw to swallow.
How about a way to “heal” other players that you’re grouped up with.
Say dinosaur A just finished a fight and is bleeding out. Dinosaur B, which is grouped with dinosaur A, comes over after the fight and sits down/rests beside dinosaur A. Then a ”Press [E] to Lick Wounds” prompt pops up for dinosaur B which they can click in order to increase the rate at which dinosaur A’s bleed is healed.
- Could only be used when both(?) dinosaurs are resting to avoid combat licking.
- Could only be used while grouped in order to encourage coordinated gameplay. Maybe remove this restriction for herbivores.
- Maybe out a cool down on it in order to avoid a situation where say a raptor keeps jumping up on a rock for a friend to heal them quickly then jump back down to go back after a target, as one example.
- Keep it limited to healing bleed, or have it heal all damage.
- This Lick Wounds feature could cost stamina to use as if you’re vigorously licking your friend to keep them alive.
Maybe add another brawling dino.....rexes are almost unmatched and with what's been discussed about giga getting its brawling capabilities taken away.....I would suggest red has something that it will actualy have a difficult time with

If we're talking changes, get rid of bb on rex. Not saying to nerf it, give it something else to make up for it or whatever, but giving a dinosaur an ability that is just basically a rng chance to win is dumb. IMO the only things that should have it should be defensive dinosaurs like anky and pachy. (or at the very least make bb not stop people from using certain attacks)
I think official server need news pack limit for all dinosaurs for a good balance and when recode will be done, and the possibility to have 150 slots will be here or 175 in V3.
Now when we see something like 20 dilos in a server with 100 slots and you are a rex you just want to disconnect because it's not fair or when you see all herbivore in the same point and defend themselves and 5 rex rulling the map... It's just horrible.
So I propose a limitation of pack for all dinosaurs.

Dryosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Gallimimus, juvi herbis can pack with everyone.
So I hope than people can understand my felling after many hours on official.
A pack group chat would be amazing, all things considered, to help with the herbivore mixpacks! But the option to actually limit the packs in game could maybe help the admins a lot in their job. (to add to the previous suggestion - don't know if it had been adressed before)
An idea I had while talking in isle-discussion. This may already be a thing since its in-line with how the devs are making giga, but here's a question: how will a solo giga live if its main prey is expected to be sauropods?
Thats a very boring way of life. As such, maybe giga should be a predator with a duality aspect to it. It hunts sauropods by day, and other creatures by night out in the plains. It should, and likely does, have difficulty in dense woodland, where rex shines as it has a high speed burst of movement for close quarters combat. The problem giga faces out in plains, by proxy, is its size. It can chase down and hunt sauropods easilly during the day, but night time is the best chance for it to hunt other prey items as the darkness keeps its bulk hidden. If it had better nightvision (it doesnt have to be insane) it could then locate its prey and ambush them before it can be detected, then utilizing its bleed and tracking abilities to follow the blood trail!
Overall, I think this would make giga gameplay in the long run more enjoyable as it gives them more to do and options to utilize if there are no sauropods around, and it wouldn't clash with other midtiers or lower, as dilo depends on woods and cover to hide itself and dart in and out to land bites. Allo and carno could hunt on the plains during the day, either weathering down prey with their endurance, or with sheer speed, and be able to detect and escape giga once they see one is too close. However, giga still remains a danger to them come night time, so they have to be careful about where they hole up or if they hunt.
Tar pits would be fun. Maybe like a swampy area with a lot of food to encourage players to actually risk going there.
This is a bit out there, but: it’s thought that Carcharodontosaurids fed on sauropods by ripping bits of flesh off of the larger animals instead of actually trying to kill them before eating. For larger theropods that were supposed to have fed on sauropods (the first that comes to mind is Giga) perhaps a “rip flesh” mechanic could be introduced against creatures like the Camara and future Pue replacement, if it exists. You would have to hold down a button for a certain amount of time to complete the attack and rip off a piece of flesh, during which time you are vulnerable to attack, and the rip flesh doesn’t do any damage until the rip is complete. This might be a bit too much, but if successful, maybe the theropod gets a brief boost to stamina to get away and the sauropod gets a brief debuff to stamina to account for the pain of having your flesh ripped off. This could make camas and pues more interactible species for carnivores instead of an all-or-nothing, while still making them a risky fight.
A similar “rip flesh” might be added for smaller carnivores dealing with corpses that are too big for them to carry, when corpse carrying becomes a thing?
I think if Deinosuchus is added, and possibly Kaprosuchus, Deino would be big enough to just drown prey, possibly doing the death roll, while Kapro is best at leaping out of the water and latching onto say, an adult Maia until it either dies or the Kapro runs out of stamina. Both would technically be ambush predators still, one is just smaller, and not the type to probably drown unless it's attacking a juvi or possibly sub, therefore it's using different tatics for food. Deino most likely has more weight and muscle to drag possibly something bigger than a maia under water, while Kapro most likely has speed, strong legs, jaw, and tail, so if they're both added, they should probably have different kill tatics based off their weight and size. (Look up a Kaprosuchus and Deino if you don't know the differences.)
I feel like the official server carnivore caps are still too high. 5 rexes or gigas steamroll the island, and then the huge allo packs are just as bad. As I type this there's a pack of 21 on official 1. Just my opinion, but I think it removes the fun feeling when there's carnivore packs so big that all you can do is log out and wait until they get bored.
would be nice if devs could add a setting option to people who host servers like population control. If a player joins that server he will get random dino like if the trike limit is reached it wont allow anymore trikes etc, how many trikes are allowed thats up to devs to figure out and how much any other species is allowed . This setting would be good for people who like roleplay and diversity. right now the servers consist of only trikes and rexes like that's not diverse at all....
other idea what i had is the crouch that the bigger the dino the less time it can be in crouch stance because muscles get tired. I mean if you try walking in squat stance see how far you can go before getting fully exhausted ^^ it makes sense. It would balance out that the apex dinos cant walk all the time in crouch to be ready for sprint instead they would have to be smart about it.
How about not f roaring while using in game chat, dont get me wrong i like how my dino "speaks" but it basically punish you for using the in game chat.
Yeah we can use discord (i personnally use it) but is kind of dumb having to use a external platform (who not everyone uses) to communicate, is true that even if ingame chat was mute discord vc would still be better but right now using discord to use a "writting" chat is even better than using the in game "writting" chat.
I cant think of any game that has a chat that punishes you / is invalidated by a external platform

Change the rexes roars from thundering loud roars, to low growls and groan like noises. It's more likely how they'd communicate due to their (scientifically found apparently) good hearing that can pick up really low frequencies. Herbivores more than likely learned to hear these low frequencies to try and stay out of hunting grounds too much. (If a rex did a low pitched groan or growl, it can travel long distances AND if you were physically there, literally feel the growl or groan, due to something about the soundwaves or something like that, and the size of the creature.) If I remember right, I believe Alligators and Crocodiles use it, just not as terrifying as a rex, since it's not able to literally be felt as the sound travels.
Make acrosaur more powerfull and mascular. At least 400N and more mass.
And alsow add combat more interesting for dinosaurs with bigger hands so u can attack with bite(more dmg) or with claws(more bleed).
Add the Vorombe Titan as an Omnivore, Carnivore or Herbivore.
I like it to play as an galli but a next bigger running bird would be really nice

Could dinosaur models be updated in the future to take into account the new set of bones they found? Yes, I know it costs thousands to make a model edit, but just a project in the future.
I know we will probably never see fluid 'model transformation' (idk how to explain that otherwise in english) during growth since that is probably way too much work, but it would be cool to at least have fluid stat changes. With things like rex that have a faster subadult than full adult, it would be much cooler if the fresh adult was barely stronger than the sub, but still have stam and speed close to the sub. As it grows, it grows stronger, but also loses speed and stam. This would 1. prevent people from growing during a fight with dinos that are much stronger as a fresh adult than as a full juvie and 2. make fresh adults of dinos that have slower adults than juvies a bit more viable
Not sure if this was said before, but it would be cool if we can favorite the servers that we comminly go on. And there can be a Favorites tab that shows us the servers we favored.
better way to impose pack limits other than spanking people who break it. just... not allow people to add new members if they're at their limit? Juvies can join full packs (this could be regulated too like 4 juvies per Rex pack idk) but once they're adult, the newest member added is the one who gets automatically kicked from the group
this probably won't stop people who are very determined to break the game but will at least hinder their coordination. Allow servers to set the pack limits for all species for realism servers

Puertasaurus is a really cool and magnificent creature it's a pity it can be only played up to about an hour due to the fact it has such difficulty to eat
simple cera buff suggestion.
buff its bleed resistance and heal to be extremely tolerant to bleed dmg.
it's supposed to be able to steal kills and bully small tiers from carcasses even in packs but legit all the other medium sized predators are better at that since bleed isnt their kryptonite.

Cama is way too small atm, and can we get some sort of changes with it's stomp? As of right now stomping is useless to the point of being a bad idea to use at all
Allow people to play as the old Dino versions that are not playable, would be fun to compare the differences.
For example, the old Giga vs the new Giga.
Also thermals for pterosaurs that lift you automatically in some spots if you fly through them.

Suggestion 1: Please make these dilo colours pickable in the colour slot options. They are vibrant and beautiful but not too out there. The male had a beautiful reddish colour and the female had a lovely purple tone to their skin. (Had to screenshot the females from a video bc found no pics on google)
Suggestion 2: I know it’s not top priority and definitely won’t be if considered, but it would be really cool to be able to pick TWO detail colours. You know how most dinos, if not all, has two areas where their detail colour is visible? Maybe add the ability to have two different detail colours. Let’s take Para. You wanna make it look fruit like (or something!) so you pick a yellow colour for the crest and a green colour for the tail detail. I think it would add some aesthetic variety to the skins. A little unnessecary but still cool.
Adding on to these skin suggestions I think it'd be nice if we could also pick eye colour
frogs.

Here are gimmick suggestions for a few dinosaurs. Note that all of these are 100% subject to change, due to the new stuff coming alongside the recode. I will be including abilities that have already been added for consistency sake. I'll also be doing more of these in the future.
#1 - Dryosaurus
Abilities:
-Herd Companion (Passive): Dryosaurus is allowed to invite any species of herbivore to a group, or be invited to pre-established herd groups. Dryosaurus will also be able to communicate with any herbivore species.
-Lookout Duty (Passive): Dryosaurus will act as a night watch for herbivore herds. Dryosaurus will also be given the best night vision in the game, even better than dilophosaurus. This will allow him to watch for predators that the rest of the herd cannot see.
-Burrowing: Dryosaurus is able to dig burrows into the ground, which can fit multiple animals. These are great for hiding your offspring from predators, or a spot to hide when you need to go afk. Burrows will collapse upon logging out.(Already implemented)
Dryosaurus is the #1 scout and watch for herbivore herds, and the go-to animal for players that like to socialize with other players.
#2 - Ceratosaurus
Abilities:
-Strong stomach (Passive): Ceratosaurus is able to eat gore corpses of all size, and age without any drawbacks. They can also sit by corpses for extended periods of time without losing affinity. (Subject to change, not 100% sure how affinity works. Only going off what I heard.)
-Bloodhound: Ceratosaurus has the longest scent range of any animal in the game. Unlike other creatures, ceratosaurus is able to scent fresh corpses, and obtain information about other dinosaurs through smelling their footprints. (Species, gender, growth etc.)
-Opportunist: Ceratosaurus is able to track weakened or bleeding animals. When activated, weakened or bleeding animals within a certain radius will be highlighted with a red aura. This ability lasts 1 minute, and has a 3 minute cooldown.
Ceratosaurus is the ultimate scavenger, tracker dinosaur. Once he sees you, there's no getting away easy.
Herrerasaurus for survival, they were the absolute gem in progression...
since dryos are burrowing dinosaurs, make them have good nv.
Juvie giga and sub giga are insanely slow. Trex on the other hand has faster speed to size ratio on it's younger levels. Can we maybe give giga this advantage on some level?
Give dryos the ability to build nests in their burrows would add a more of a realism to it
I feel like the night vision should be adjusted a little because at night it's harder to see things at a distance rather than without night visioj.
My suggestion: Nerf the alt-turn speed of the adult giga. At the moment there is no good way to deal with a good giga player except for a surprise rex ambush.
No other dino currently in the game can straight up beat a giga without the giga having the option to run away from the fight or the giga straight up winning the fight.
A trike could win in a 1v1 but the giga gets to decide the fight, a trike cant do anything to force the giga to fight because it doesnt have the speed nor the stam for it and lets not talk about the other herbis because they are all a snack to the gigas because they either dont have the power or speed to deal with the giga. So how about the carnis which carni can stand a chance against a giga? A big dilo pack/raptor pack could do it but if the giga sits in one spot and just alt turns and bites at any dilo coming in, its alt turn is so fast it gonna get a ton of dilos before it actually gets close to dying which in my opinion is not worth it.
Same thing with allos/carno but its even easier for the giga to hit allos because they are slower and bigger and one giga bite will force and allo to back out of the fight and sit or it will bleed out again because the giga has really fast alt turn compared to the other apexes (trike and rex).
Rex is the only carni that can beat a giga and force the fight upon a giga, except with a major downside in the fact it has to get close enough to the giga with an ambush to get a bite in on him and even if it pulls that off, if he doesnt get that 70% bone break the giga can still get out of the fight. Id love to hear other peoples opinion on it and discuss a proper way to deal with gigas but i cant think of one in the current state of the game. So Tl:DR nerf gigas alt turn so atleast there is more opportunity for the other non-apexes dinos to get hits in on the giga without the giga losing its identity as the trotting bleed apex
