UP STAM OF REX pls
Buff health regen for all dino's to increase the pace of the game
Bird/owl ai whenever quetz comes out considering we hear owls and such in game.
Footprints: Please make footprints invisible in water.
Footprints: Please make footprints wash away in the rain. (At least from Scent-mode đ )
Footprints: Please make crouching leave no footprints and only leave scent markers.
I think it'd be neat if we could bite/attack while resting. It wouldn't do nearly as much damage as when you attack while standing, because you cant put as much power into it, but it'd be nice to have a little bit of a defense if i suddenly get attacked while resting. It'd give me enough time to stand up at least. Just an idea
Are aquatic dinosaurs gonna appear and be playable?
It would be neat to have a meter of some sort for ambush, to show how much "juice" we have still - maybe label it as "Adrenaline". It would also be very handy for the ambush, or if you want to call it "Adrenaline", to be available without having to squat, such as when last second you see a predator coming from behind you and you have the availability to a short burst of speed without having to take a couple seconds to let your ambush build up. It would be a very short burst, like the current ambush, though somewhat unlike your stamina, you would need to "recharge" your Adrenaline icon. Maybe your adrenaline doesn't replenish unless you sit down.
Could cerato's model somehow be fixed to where colors appear a bit brighter on it? Colors on certain dinosaurs can appear really light or really dark depending on the dinosaur. I could see a difference between the same colors on juvie and adult dilo, too: juvie dilo's colors are brighter than adult dilo's colors. I'm not exactly sure why... Is the variation of shading on each dinosaur intentional or something that will be addressed in the future?

Also ,can Sucho's trot be its walk and can sucho have a faster walk? I think it might solve the issue of sucho being too slow when he walks or crouches.

Make ai spawn more often to juvis... So adults are forced to team with them to avoid starving to death. This would control the adult population too... As more of them would die it'd give the ecossistem a break from the gross apex infestation.
Increase dilos ambush walk speed
Can sucho's current trot replace its current walk and can Sucho have a new, faster trot? Even rex trots faster than sucho does. I understand this means sucho will need a new animation for its crouch and trot, but I honestly feel a decent trot would make up for how slow his run is.
One of the biggest issues with survival is that most of the dinosaurs are hot garbage until they're close to the end of their current growth stage. It's a slog, and quite frankly isn't very fun. A lot of complicated solutions have been proposed, but I have a very simple fix: put growth on a logarithmic scale instead of a linear one. This way growth still takes the same amount of time, but players get to spend most of that time at a more viable (and less boring) point of their growth. The tradeoff being, of course, that you have a rapidly depleting hunger bar during the early growth spurt.
Suggestion:
Reduce Carno's stamina a bit, or possibly its stamina regen. Currently it can outstam a Maia, which doesn't feel fair seeing as its already faster.

Can we get some sorta fix for accidenatly attacking your friends during a fight? There have been countless times where I have bit my friend by accident even though he was no where near me.
Utah vs Dilo
- So before we start i wanted to point it out, i like utah playstyle/or just the animal itself better than Dilo.
But Utah has all of the advantage against a Dilophosaurus. Even at night, Utah will win with his biteforce and his speed and the chance of dilo killing a utah is really small since the bleed will not kill him after he lays down. This makes Dilos kinda useless if you ask me, but i have a thing what could probably solve this problem. Since Dilophosaurus has a toxin in his bite, it could be the only bleed wich damaging you even after you lay down. It would really make Dilophosaurus unique and it would be really the kind of "it's a venomous snake, dont poke it" feeling.
I would like to suggest to make the para stronger given its size and weight maybe not as strong as it was before but somewhere in the middle of where it is now and where it was

The community is blindly following bread trails, we need more info about whats being done right now and what will be implemented in the future of the game...suggestion, development streams so that the community can follow the development properly, that will possibly have a positive effect on those who are thinking about buying the game in the future and will keep us all informed of what are the development team plans.
Make dead bodies/gore glow (like in scent mode) when you are in extremely close proximity. I'm sure dinosaurs had good enough noses to tell when there is a meal 10 feet away under a shrub that we might otherwise not see. Plus many community servers have body drop/kill your fill rules which makes sense to bully a dino for the easier meal rather than kill everything on sight - but you inevitably run into the frustrating scenario when someone doesn't see or know about a dead meal laying nearby.
once/if moving dead bodies becomes a thing I suggest a sort of floating mechanic for corpses. I think that might fix the whole "camp in water" thing.

Family Tree:
I would love if we can have a family tree that we can check on in the character meny. The Family tree and Family member's symbols (the symbol above a dino so you know its your mom) could really help knowing who is for example your uncle or maybe even your great grandmother for roleplaying purposes, making people want to nest and more.
The Family tree could work like you could see all your dead or alive relatives with a picture of the player's dino head, if the dino is dead the picture could be grayed out. And the information it would give out if you hover your mouse over the picture is the player's name, dino gender and relative occupation (mom, grandmother and more).
I really don't think juvie giga should be using an adult carcharosaurus model with oversized eyes, anymore. It is pretty obvious the model has issues, such as the dent in its back and not even looking remotely like giga. Not to mention, it does not even look like a juvenile apex, like juvie rex does. It looks like an adult sized down and thus, fat.
I suggest, for the new juvie giga model, to take the sub giga model, scale it down, decrease the size of the crest, remove the beard, and make its eyes a lot bigger. That way, juvie giga will actually look like it is part of the line and not the disheveled mess it is because its model was a discarded dinosaur.
I feel like all the dinos of every species should be able to use every dinos colors for skins (in their specified spots ofc.) Herbivores have alot more colors than carnivores, and itâs hard to try and make a unique skin. Itâs very annoying when people have to resort to copying others skins to get something new. Also, I feel like for sandbox that it is very annoying if youâre a baby dinosaur on a big map, and wanting to go through the stages but having to respawn so far away. Yes, this may be useless if we already have survival gamemode, but it legit just sucks. Especially since alot of players like myself and some of my friends, find it incredibly annoying to keep respawning over and over, hoping to be close to the group. And itâs alot easier using sandbox because in survival, it takes ages to grow and alot of the times you end up dying before you can even suceed, which is why alot of the times people just switch over to sandbox instead. I wish I could add more, but my phones going to die so uhm, yeah...sorry
Buff trike, your literally a burger walking for gigas and rexes, if you wont buff trikes then decrease the growth duration to like 5 hrs, cause trike atm is insanely weak, it can get FACE TANKED by a rex and a giga. I see no skill killing a trike as a giga or rex cause all they do is run at u, and bite standing still face tanking you.
First of all, the Apex groups should be lowered to 2-3 max per group, so many people are playing apexes in group of 5 and no one can kill them except another group of 5... Secondly you should be able to sniff out dead bodys, you are able to track blood so why not sniff out a dead body?
Finally you shouldnt be able to log out when you are getting attacked, this takes the fun out of intense fights because you can just log off even when you get hit.

I'd love to see better animations when attacking. Now, I admit I haven't gotten the game but i've recently been very interested in getting it and i've been watching a fair few amount of videos on it. And it seems when 2 dinosaurs attack it just looks like they're biting whilst running through each other and doesn't look very realistic. Now i understand it would be very hard to implement proper animations for attacks for all dinosaurs or some, and I'm not a developer so i wouldnt know much, but the game looks great to me and i feel more realistic attacking animations would make the game so much better. Just a suggestion đ Loving the look of this game so far!

When it is stupid dark in the sky like this, can the clouds hide the sun and can the ground not look as if God's rays are constantly kissing it? I would like to feel a gloomy and dark atmosphere when it is about to rain.
When it comes to staffing on the isle, implement a /logs command. Basically this is where admins can view multiple things such as chat logs/damage logs(see who attacked first)/ possibly have a tab that let's you view calls to see if someone had actually 3 called before attacking. (Would be helping on stricter servers). This is a thing a lot of other games have access to when it comes to staffing .
Not sure if this has been suggested before, but what about finisher animations? Like if you kill something, they donât just flop over. Itâd be pretty cool to see a Rex rip the throat out of an Allo in a cool animation.
You should be able to alt turn while ur legs are broken, itâs very unbalanced especially when a rex rides your ass. You literally canât do anything but leave your keyboard and mouse and accept ur death

i know that has been said alot but my reasoning is that he is supposed to be a forest hunter yet he gets stuck on trees alot.
I have another suggestion: Suco nurf. I think we all know that suco would break its jaw in hafe if it bit down on anything bigger or tougher than the fish it eats. Atm a suco can take down a subadult rex in 4 or so hits. I feel like this will be changed in the future when fish are added but I was just pointing it out. And this leads me to another suggestion. instead of biting down on other dinosaurs it could use its claws instead, same would go for spinosaurus. And the claw attack would do alot of bleed depending on the mass. This is just a suggestion ^^
I think progression should be added back, or a form of progression but with a creative twist, the normal way progression was but if you died you would lose 1 tier until you progressed back that tier, and if you were playing as a trex for example you would have to progress to a different animal or would have to spend a certain amount of progression points to unlock the trex right away or you could nest into a trex but have to do the survival mode like thing, only reason why is because survival is baby dinosaur island with groups of adult dinosaurs and time wasting trying to become an adult but getting killed at the beginning or right before you grow to an adult, and when they add aquatic/ aviary creatures what are they going to be baby pterosaurs and baby deinosuchus swimming and flying around until you become an adult with the same crap that happens when you are a terrestrial animal being killed by bigger versions of yourself because there isnt enough food? because being an adult dinosaur is a lot more fun than being a baby. But I guess this is just a rant...

I suggested this before but I'm going to bring it back:
When walking through shallow water/water in general, dinosaurs should get a movement penalty, across the board. Not a huge one, only like 10-20% speed decrease. This decrease should be universal, except for on aquatic creatures, such as Sucho, who move at regular speed when walking through water. This change would make Suchos and other aquatics playable away from massive lakes such as Titan, and allow them to wade through rivers and swamps and be relatively safe, expanding their terrain from one lonely quarter of the map.
hello donte. I have an idea for herbivores. there are many people who are carnevores. because those dinos have a purpose like survival of hunts on meat. but herbivores are pretty boring dinosaurs because they have no purpose. walking around and eating plants until they are attacked and dying. my idea is to put a goal in herbivores such as from one folder a sort of ice age where all the food is on and the other half of the folder is summer and eat a lot and then change sides every day so that herbivores get a sort of purpose that also involves a fair amount of risk
instead of getting slashes from starvation damage, perhaps add a much more pronounced emaciation blend. otherwise its sort of silly that something can be so cut up and not be able to be scented / tracked due to it. there is already body condition in the game, but i've never looked at a dino in my 200+h and said to myself 'that one's looks like its about to starve'
This is less of a suggestion and more of a question {I'm sorry if i'm doing this in the wrong place} With the infinitty system coming soon, will there be any need for server rules? I mean, right now servers have rules that they put in discord and not in the rule box in game like they are supposed to {at least I think thats what its for} And they give you no choice but to join a Seperate app to see the rules. And with the infinitty system comeing, people are going to be punished anyways for ruining the experence of the game for other players. Im not sure if this is a good suggestion/question but at least I gave it a shot. ^^
Make it so that when you are killed by another dinosaur, there is a âReportâ option on your death screen so that you can report your killer to an admin if the killer was mixpacking/spawnkilling and you are already dead so you cannot provide proof

maybe we should add fish because of the fact that sucho, bary, and spino are all crocodilians and small fish would fit in there mouth. But yet again it's a thought and i won't mind.
why is the nest invite still an instant nest in?
friend just lost his adult rex because he just logged in and thought it was group invite.
this needs to be fixed, me along with multiple of my friends have lost dinos to this idiotic nest invite system.

A possible way to add more diversity to sounds is perhaps have pitch slightly ascend or descend based on whether the animal's head is more up or more down towards the ground

I know it only takes 30 minutes to grow, but dryo could be a little bit faster. If a utah spots you as a dryo, you're pretty much dead unless you can lose it in the trees or escape to a burrow, but most times it has no chance
add a metabolism system where if u run u burn more food and when u rest u burn significantly less food thus will make the game more life like đ

Safe log should take 2/3min when your taking damage. It would prevent players from combat log.
Would be nice to have an old school progression server in the game just to bring back the old times. Except this time we have Ai. Could also help control the "Apex problem" people keep talking about on servers.

i feel one of the hardest things in this game is that its very new player un-friendly. they dont know what theyr doing or where theyr going and its an all in all bad experience imo. i love the game, but maybe if there was an option you could either turn on and off as a nester or a full grown dino to allow people to spawn on you, or in your nest of their own accord. allowing new players to turn up next to players already experienced and guide them. this would give new players a much easier experience and allow the community to grow/meet new people. obviously if the option is turned off its reserved for friends only but i think allowing it publicly will help noobs
Make trikes break legs with its stomp, at least a 50% chance of bone break

Avaceratops AI defending itself against juveniles and small carnivores
Spoiled Carnivores Food Issue:
Food should be treated as what it is: a very valuable resource, worth gold. But currently ingame that is mostly not the case, carnis hunt down dinos and leave corpses behind like rubbish. We are all spoiled in terms of AI spawns. Now I am aware that this balancing act is really tough â majority of players (incl. myself) complained to starve due to no AI spawns, now the AI spawn works pretty well and additionally we have the Ava AI, which gives a lot more food and is very welcome by most, but especially APEXes.
Some patches ago you felt really relieved when you finally were able to find AI or another player to eat, you felt more attached to the survival feeling as well as the problems real animals have to face in trying to survive. You were simply happy when you could fill your stomach; whilst these days it became more and more routine to eat, its no real big deal anymore.
I donât have the perfect solution for that, and after all I would still prefer AI spawns as it is, rather than starving to death, which would always happen on V3 with currently 110 players max on official servers without or too less AI.
May be you Devs find some solutions to bring back that âfood is worth goldâ feeling, I just want to share my approach to it:
- Make AI spawns only when adults have like 5% food left, and juvis 25%. (this should ideally also work within packs of course, so as long as no one is under that percentage there will be no AI spawn. (Slightly increase the chances around a nest location)
- For full grown adults only: The current max bite force/health/speed/bleed resistance of any carnivore should only become available when you have eaten players (hunted down by whomever), and lasts for like 30-60 real minutes. ( I would not speed it up too much, it could become too frustrating otherwise, I think 30 minutes would be a good start)
- Left behind corpses would benefit other players the same way, which might reduce the fact that many players leave them behind without eating it. The corpse becomes a more valuable resource that way, worth to be protected or used as a trap and then ambushing the others.
- If you are not able to eat player dinos (or the time of your last player food has expired): your skills (or some of them) will be nerfed to minus 15% or whatever you think to be proper. You still should be able to stand against dinos who are usually weaker, but it would be a little tougher to realise it.
All this could bring a general nerf for carnis for a certain time in the game and some advantages to herbis, which on the other hand might increase their population a little, which is usually the minority anyway.
Bleed Damage Rework
Atm, bleed damage is handled in an equation sort of like this: Bleed x (Movement Bleed Multiplier)
So if you have 10 bleed, and have a 0.1x bleed multiplier, you will be taking 1 damage every 3 seconds.
This is essentially devastating for small tiers. Here's why:
Let's say, purely as an example, that a Giga has 100 bleed and bleed resistance of 0.5x, he will be taking 50 damage every 3 seconds, this isn't much to a Giga if he can rest in time.
Now, let's say a Pachy has the exact same amount of Bleed, and bleed resistance. The Pachy will then also be taking 50 damage every 3 seconds.
The 50 damage every 3 seconds is DEVASTATING for a Pachy but can be shrugged off by a Giga for quite a while. The problem here exemplified is that bleeding does not differentiate between the size of the animal that is bleeding and as such can go from meaningless to large animals, to devastating on smaller ones on the EXACT SAME Bleed.
So here is my proposal in order to remedy that:
Make bleed damage based on your max health
Let's exemplify this on the same Bleed level and bleed resistance, using the two animals I talked about earlier, Pachy and Giga.
Let's say you take 0.1% of your max hp as damage per Bleed every 3 seconds and that a Pachy has 1.500 health, and a Giga has 6000 health.
Using the old math, the Pachy, taking 50 damage every 3 seconds to the bleed, would die in 90 seconds
The Giga, on the other hand, would die in 360 seconds
Now, using the new math: Damage Taken every 3 seconds = Bleed Level x 0.1% of max hp x Bleed Resistance Multiplier
Pachy: 100 x 1.5 x 0.5 = 75 damage every 3 seconds
Giga: 100 x 6 x 0.5 = 300 damage every 3 seconds
This means both animals, at 100 bleed and 0.5x bleed resistance, will die in 60 seconds.
The values used in this explanation are purely theoretical, and may not represent the actual values in game, they were chosen for exemplification purposes only.
Could we turn off collision with small rocks? It makes no sence for Maia's, rexes and everything big to get blocked by those. Im sure even dino's like stegosaurus would have the braincapacity to step over or on top of them. instead of staring at it, wondering how to get around that small friggin rock. đ
Para needs a lingering hitbox for it's kick along with the ability to move while doing so(?) In general Para just needs help/buffs, though I'm not sure of what exactly. It's just hard mode Maia now even though clearly the devs intended it to be the mini-shant of survival. Help the honker out. EDIT: Buff speed close to pre nerf speed, buff damage as well.
Revert para to its old state speed and animations wise but keep its damage the same
The new run animation speed looks really weird
How about giving Pachy bone break on his attack while he is stationary? That way you canât chase things and murder them but youâre dangerous to things around your size. The juvenile pachyâs stationary attack animation would make just fine for this attack
Stats after death, like how many km/miles your dino have walked, how many hours you have survived, how much you have ate/drinked, how many dinos you have killed, nested etc.
I think I suggested this before, but Iâm not sure. Can we get more exaggerated movement for allo? Itâs really stiff right now, and itâs bite animation is pretty weak. It would be great to see an allo that looked and felt like less of a robot
To elaborate: the running movement is fine, but some better tail movement and a more expressive motion of its head, jaws, and neck while biting would greatly change the aesthetic. But the leg movements in both running, and walking are among the best animations in the game right now, so those should be kept (imo). But allosaurus could open its jaws stupidly wide, and maybe the roars can reflect that...
Also, Allosaurus bites way too quickly for how much damage it does; it is on par with Utah for how fast it bites and it out damages pretty much everything in the mid-tier metagame with 300 damage and 20 bleed. I can consistently almost get two bites a second. In fact, people have abused this and manage to run through dibbles and other dinosaurs with the double-bite glitch or bug.
Tl;dr if allosaurus gets a new and more expressive bite, give it a slower bite animation. With juvie rex, sub rex, adult carno, juvie dilo, and adult dilo receiving bite speed nerfs the past few updates with their new animations, allo needs to have a slower bite with its new animation, too.

I don't understand why utahs and dilos do not drop ribs. Utah and dilo bodies seem to last forever, while a carno or allo body is barely worth anything for an apex carnivore. Please make half a body's worth edible flesh and the second half ribs. Or maybe a third of it left can be ribs. Idk. Let body food values be consistent.

Instead of taking away color options from us to prevent kids from cosplaying copyrighted dinosaurs, why not just ban certain detail and color combinations, like yellow detail and black/dark body 2 on utahraptor so no indoraptors. A popup will show up when you try to enter into the game with a banned dino color combination and prevent you from joining the game.
buff and fix paras kick, its not even worth it since it only hits at the ending of the animation. i killed 2 paras today as carno, i just ran through them and they tried to do their kick which didn't help at all. i think you guys nerfed para way too hard honestly, now its just a slower mai that tries to act tough but is free food for all of the mid tiers, it handles bleed poorly and can't run away from ambushing allos,normal running ceratos,ambushing suchos,ambushing rex and giga...etc i think old para was in a way better state because it didn't feel like a cheeto mai and it was its own thing, it was a psuedo apex an acro tier creature its kick was useful and you had to have a coordinated allo pack if did want to hunt it.
how about making current para more like its old counterpart but not truly make it so its kick starts when its animation does. lower its current speed for power. or make it so when para stands his own ground he can 3 shot allos with its kick.

This can be cool and show to other your expermiment and you look more terrified with your scarified dinosaur, you can give impression to other and don't give to players to figth you but to run when they see you.
Delete scars with the starvation it's no mad to have open wounds because you die of hunger of thirst but look more flat than now.
im in a bit of a rush so i have to explain this pretty bad, i think most dinosaurs with the capability of breaking bones should have bone break but based on wieght class
Make juvie Utah's maximum speed 25.96 km/h, the same speed as a .6 adult Utah. Juvie utahs are painfully slow compared to EVERY OTHER JUVIE.
but they also are very tiny
(correct me if i'm wrong but) the top 3 fastest dinos in the game are all carnivores currently, reaching over 50km/h. could some herbis be speed buffed to match in this range?

There seems to be some indecision going on with how to approach Parasaurolophus. It used to be a fast attacker. Then it was just fast. Currently it seems intended to be some kind of tanky build given how slow it is, but doesn't have the bulk to pull it off. Assuming the latter is going to be the build going forward, here's how I would approach it:
First, bulk up the Para. Boost its weight or its HP, or bump up both by a smaller amount, just something that lets it take hits better. Give it some decent bleed resistance; it should still be possible to bleed out, but a crippling weakness to bleeding should be reserved for animals that can run away fast, which Para is not.
Second, buff the kick a little and give it a lingering hitbox which lasts for most of the animation. The kick should deal damage over time while a target remains within the hitbox to discourage facetanking from similar-sized dinosaurs. A Para player should expect to oneshot anything Allo-sized or smaller, and put some serious hurt onto a Sucho that tries to facetank. This will be the Para's primary defense. The headbutt should remain a weak secondary attack, to be used only when the Para's stam bar runs out or bonebreak occurs. A desperation move, basically.
The hunting strategy against Para should be packs for most predators, with only Sucho-sized and larger predators attempting to solo it. The Para will pretty much plant itself in one spot and try to get charging predators with its kick, while the predators will attempt to circle around (or risk a charge) and get in bites. Basically Trike-lite.
Once again, this is assuming the devs intend to continue making Para some sort of a slow tank instead of the fast attacker it once was.
is it me or does the trike feel weak against rexs? i think it would be better if the trike had a buff to it damage from 350 to 400, i just feel rexs can easily kill trikes now and every dino has had some sort of buff but why not trikes? and in 3 hits the trike would do the same damage as the rex so would be more close in a fight
I suggest an improved group system mechanics; When a player logs for the night and returns they remain in that group prior to logout.
Update the system to display an indicator above a group members tag to let everyone know if they are in combat, I.E:
A yellow nametag to display a fight and a red name tag to show everyone they are close to death and orange for injury.
For bigger herds it'd be nice to have a destination set as well; for people who like to migrate together or want to go somewhere.
Instead of spawning with the random skin combo from your parents, it should take you to the skin creation/selection screen but you're only able to use colors from your parents. At the very least you could make yourself slightly prettier even if you're inevitably ugly. Just a thought.
Lower Giga's damage down to 600, and lower Rexes speed back down to 26kph. This would make it to where Rex would be able to kill giga , but giga would once again be the fastest apex. This would also allow two Giga's to more easily kill one rex. Rex would kill giga in 6 hits, while giga would be right behind it at 9-10. Plus factor in bleed and two or more Giga's, and rex would no longer be able to solo multiple.
More colors besides 6 shades of taupe and 4 shades of olive green. Can we get some reds, blacks, blues, purples, and more of the colors we already have?
After a few hours of playing I noticed a few minor "quality-of-life" things that could be added.
⢠please add a warning when a "nest invite" pops up. That you loose your current animal/progress. I have the feeling people send invites just for griefing people into loosing their dino.

â˘please think about adding a distance indicator to groupmembers, maybe only visible when you use scent/sniffing.

Could we have an accurate speed number on our character growth panel? We obviously don't have adult speed as a juvie.
add hidey holes into the bottoms of large tree's and rock formations(not all trees and rocks ofc), maybe one or two under/beside the larger boulders. this would give juvies and smaller dino's opportunity to explore and walk the map and know that if they see a larger dinosaur that would otherwise just kill them because they cant defend themselves, they need only run and hope to locate a hidey hole to out-wait the predator or even angry herbie. i think this would incentivise people to stop just afking under tree's and maybe try to play a little more with their juvi's. who knows tho they might just afk still đ
^ because i believe the way around bigger dinos hunting smaller is less a balance of the actual dino's and more easily fixed with terrain

i have two suggestions for the dilo, One give the dilo a small jump soo it can get on to small rocks maybe as high as a pachy can jump, Second Change the dilo bleed dmg to a new type of dmg due to bleed dmg change maybe make a new type like toxin or poison which can make way for new dinos like the trodon or any other poison dinos
Feedback time, and mainly in favor of herbivores.
Herbivores are in a bad, bad spot right now. The reasoning i hear alot is that herbs should herd. And yes, they should. But with unstable servers, a gigantic map, and about 120 people walking on in. Where about 20/30 of these players are herbivores. You can see where the problem begins. Herds are rare, because Herbs in pairs or solo are weak. Many people dont just want to be a walking buffet.
Give the herbs that should have it, bonebreak. Think of Para, Maia, and Pachy for example. You don't need to make them so strong they can kill carni's easily, but giving them bonebreak gives them a reason to try and get some hits in before getting the heck out of there.
All Carnivores have bleed, so a few bites and just run down the herb. Giving herbs bonebreak they need. Gives them the option to survive and escape an encounter.
Until the game is stable enough to get many more players on, herbs need to be able to stand their ground Solo or in small groups.
I know dondi has a bias towards carnivores. But whats the fun in playing those if your meals are no challange to obtain?
Suggestion for omnivores: You know how the herbivore bushes have berries in them? And you also know how,when a herbivore eats from them, the whole bush gets un-eatable by not having leaves anymore? Well, for omnivores, you can make a version of that bush without berries so the omnivore can eat meat from gore piles and berries from the bush and herbivores don't eat the berries but the leaves on the bushes and carnivores only gore and corpses.
To make herbivore gameplay more fun make dibbles group with trikes, maia with paras ect.
I think having fun with herbs is when your in a big herd. With all the diffrent herbs its getting hard to find a good sized herd with you own species. Of course a limit is neede if the herd get too big and powerful
SPINOSAURUS REWORK
I know is very not the priority today but I want to do a proposition for spinosaurus remodel and re-stat.
I want to do a proposition, again, but this time for a future confirmed dinosaurs I really love, the Spinosaurus.
I'm going to do a proposition of stats first and after model for adult and juvenile, not subadult because I don't find anything about how could look like an subadult Spinosaurus but I think you, developers, will do a great job !
Stats proposition :
Before realism, balancing. Spino just gone lose to a rex in 1v1 fight but it's a incredible enemy for him and could win to giga 1v1.
For me, Spinosaurus is priority a fisher, like Suchomimus not an hunter, and don't really need to fight but if he need it he can be extremely dangerous for who is the opponent.
He could be bad in hunt, like Suchomimus because they are similar and it's a spinosauridea (okay it's little bit realism), and he can be slow but have a really good stamina, for swimming.
He don't need enormous weight mass because if he have one big, the bone break of rex will be negative but he need too much hp.
Oh and nerf him turn radius, this is just ridiculous.
This is my proposition of stats:
Weight mass: 7 000 to 8 000. Nerf it if is too much
Health point: 9 000 to 11 000. Nerf it too if it's too much
Damage: 300 to 500. Buff it if it isn't too much
Bleed: 10 to 15. He isn't a bleeder.
Run Speed: 29 mph to 31 mph. This can be a good speed for a short legs predator and a colossus like him
Ambush speed bonus: 1.3 if it's 29 kmh (37.7 kmh) or 1.2 if it's 31 kmh (*37.2 kmh) during 8 second because its speed base is very slow and its stamina drain is multiplied by 2 or 3 (buff if isn't too much).
Stamina: 240. 2 drain every 1 second when he run and 1 every 1 second when he swim. 2 minute run time and 4 swim time

i see people wanting bone break back for herbivores, why not keep bone brake for carnivores but have a new system for herbs? we know most herbs use theirs heads to attack so why not put a stun/ shock system in? such as your screen is blurry, unable to sprint and regain stamina? this gives the chance for herbs to get away, im sure it would be possible as goes blood on your screen so would be nice to have something like this, or not being able to walk in a straight line, like the system in gta when you get drunk something like that
This is a suggestion for the future, but when hypos and humans do eventually come around, some people donât want humans/hypos and if there were servers that would only be able to have humans, only able to have dinos, and then servers that could have both. Same for hypos (and other strains) servers for hypos, no hypos, and servers were they could all be together...?
Just a suggestion related to ask a dev, it would be really great if ask a dev was geared towards features that are a priority/being developed right now. Along with the official answers, it would also be great if there was a quick synopsis of what is being worked on related to the topic for the ask a dev. Maybe a YouTube video to go along with ask a dev (similar to the preview we got of the ptera, but with more of narrative by a dev).
I feel like alloâs trot and run just need a slight change to the head movement. If you look at it from the front while trotting or running it just looks pretty derpy.

Give Dilo and Cerato at least a 1.2-1.25x ambush multiplier. They both sport an abysmal 1.1x multiplier while Rex has a 1.5x ambush multiplier and Allo and Utah have 1.3x.
Also, give juvie cerato better stam regen.
when a carni eats a body, it'd be sorta neat if you got blood on your snout as you are digging into a corpse. It could appear on snouts of carnis above 80% food from eating a corpse, this could also make it easier to spot somebody attacking others for sport rather than necessity i think.
Reduce Rex/Giga pack limit to 3 and leave the Trike limit at 5
I guess this would be more based around a question than a suggestion, but I'm curious for discussion. In regards to discouraging players of "combat logging", what if the option to safe logout was just negated? Like if the player suffers from a level of injury that puts them past the green "healthy" status range, and if they logged out under that condition, that logout would just be treated like the default 3+ minutes force log that happens when you don't wait out the timer?
Can we fix the hitbox on multiple animals? Gali and allo in particular, allo can get bit on the very tip of its tail, and recieve just as much damage as it would anywhere else, which means that a rex can bite right behind or on the tip of an allo's tail, and then its leg spontaniously breaks. Also, galli has a bit too big of an attack range, ive been hit by gallis who werent aiming anwhere near me.

Since the suchomimus has a full body swim I think you should make leg break not affect the swimming.
Galli's Health Stats:
- Galli's Rested Heal: 20hp per tick.
- Galli's Standing Heal: 10hp per tick.
- Galli's Total Health: 1000hp.
Notes:
It takes 50 minutes to heal from 0hp to 1000hp.
Utah heals 240hp while resting, and 120hp while standing.
Suggestion:
Buff Galli's heal to be a bit more reasonable. Something along the lines of 50hp per tick would be a noticeable but not game changing improvement...
Playing Galli is a lot of fun, but the second you get bitten it's game over, try again. Having such a low max health means most things will kill you with around a single bite. If you do somehow manage to miraculously survive, I believe you deserve to heal at a reasonable rate once the bleed is gone.
Sub Giga Stage gameplay change:
Transaction from slow, strong juvie into the begining of its hunter life
Speed: increase from 30,6 to 36 km/h
Ambush: increase from ??? to 43 km/h
Ambush duration: increase from 8 to 13 secs
Bite force: 150N (fresh) - 250N (fully grown)
Bleed damage: 15 - 25
Bleed heal: 10 / 15
This will turn the sub giga into a small mid tier hunter which should make this stage much more fun than it currently is.

Can fend off a Utah and Dilo asoon as is it progs to sub.
Has to be careful with the Carno and Cerato until its close to prog to adult. ( 70% growth +/- )
At 1.0 it can catch an Allo and Para but the fight will be too close and you will risk dying.

Can there be a way for males to mark their territory. As off now for me playing a female Dino is better because I can find where my burrow is because I put my best next to it. But as male I loose my burrow and I can't even make a new one unless I log off and log back on. It's an inconvenience. Males should have a way for scenting up an area as theirs or you know put a home icon over a burrow once it's made

When the skin customization was new, the devs got rid of the frill color on the female trikes so you could tell the gender of one upon seeing it; but recently they added the frill markings back to the female trike which makes them indistinguishable from the males if the player chose a lighter side/belly color. Removing the frill color for female trikes would make 'em look more unique vs their male counterparts đ Not sure if this has been said yet, just something I've noticed recently.

Maybe make Allosaurus turn radius on par with Ceratosaurus or vice versa so battles between them are more fair like in real life instead of how long does it take for the Ceratosaurus to get on the Allosaurusâs ass and eat it out.
So what is the end game here? is Rex intended to be the be-all-end-all apex? Because at the moment it outperforms giga (and trike) in every way except stamina and bleed. It even takes less time to grow despite being leagues better.
I THOUGHT the intention was to make apexes more or less 50/50s. Reduce Rex's passive run speed to 28 and let giga have the better turning circle, but keep it's incredible ambush speed. Thanks to bone break, Rex doesn't need the innate ability to control a fight with a better turning circle, because it will already gain total control over an engagement once it break's it's opponent's leg.
If that isn't to be the case, and rex is literally supposed to be better, at LEAST make it take longer than Giga to grow.

new adult utah can enter the burrow, until a certain growth. but cant grow in there(to prevent afk growing). and it can leave at any point, but once it gets to a certain growth it cant enter the burrow anymore. This way the its a bit stronger, since the new adult utah can do more damage to the dryos

Ok, so I know most of the arguments that go on about the isle are about the apexâs being âunbalancedâ even if they are, and although I think some Dinoâs need nerds * cough cough * cerato * cough cough * I think a great way to stop these debates is to create a map with regional spawns and geographic boundaries that are hard to cross, for example, have an area with a beach, redwoods and patchy forest, surrounded by mountains , or water on the beach, and this is where Rex, trike, pachy, para, ( shant and ably once they are added in ) and Utah would spawn, and have another area with plains and forest, again surrounded by water or mountains, with allo, cerato, ( camera and stego once they are added into survival or as ai ) and dryo, another area with giga, brachi, spino, so on and so forth, there would be some Dinoâs that I donât know where would go like Maia or sucho, but regional spawns with geographical barriers that arenât impossible to cross but can only be done as a small Dino, this would separate the apexâs and make every apex feel like an actual apex predator and not just one of the more powerful predators
Binocular esque "zoom" feature. Actually zooming in on a spot is unnecessary. Basically highlight background things, like, say, you're on a hill and see a speck moving about. You wanna know what that speck is. Press whatever button, suddenly foreground is blurry and you're able to see that speck slightly moreso.(?) This COULD be abused but I mean when two players are in speck range they usually see eachother. Feature might be unnecessary overall tbh. Maybe only for specific dinosaurs or carnivores?
Give anky bone break back
Maybe temporarily add bone break back not just to Anky but to all the dinosaurs that had it until the combat system is changing because rn it weakens a lot of dinosaurs especially herbivores like anky para trike pachy, bone break used to be able to save you from being hunting and now weâll unless you escape there is no chance if the carnivore are competent
It also makes battles with rexes that arenât completely one sided or against anything that is capable of dealing a lot of damage and has a lot to health is pretty much a guaranteed for the rex to win. They can break the opponents bone and just naw on their ass till they die and survive if they are bleeding if they just sit afterwards which Iâm not throwing shade at but Iâm just a little disappointed that Rex basically makes stuff in survival like Giga Sucho And Allo not as viable cause itâs got bone break and now a better turn to prevent some ass riding. I donât hate rex or bone break, I just want some more of a chances to survive in combat or chances to survive a hunt and Rex attack.
It seems weird for a burrow to disappear or despawn when the owner dies (not to mention it takes out anyone else inside). Maybe make it to where the burrow can be left available to other creatures that may recycle the burrow - such as either other dryos, tacos, oros, or even any of the small predators (since juvie Utahs can now enter them). But allow for it to be able to be destroyed by those who were not the owner as well?
Nerf the base speed (trot, walk, and run) of Rex, but keep the ambush speed. Donât change anything else other than base speeds...
Succho just needs a buff, flat out. In a fight he sucks and considering we lack ANY food for him in the water or real way to eat anything in the water it makes playing them unfun when you have to walk miles to get to anything. Most of the time people will single you out and kill you just for being a succho because you're easy pick'ns.
I might add even if there is a rule in a given server that you can't kill a succho in the water, they still do it. I see it happen all the time; And it feels bad when your only real defense is the water and a rex walks up and just kills you anyway.
Maybe spawn them next to a sizeable body of water, as they are slow as is. People don't realize that trying to get to where you can manage something as a juvvy succho is painful as hell. I made the walk all the way to water today, got in the water to recover stam safely. And sure as shit, raptors come rampaging out. So I go into deeper water to make killing me pointless so that they can't eat; And they kill me anyway. Happens every single time no matter where I go ~ Thenway has no bodies of water deep or large enough to make it worth it. And V3 is so spread out succhos have a tough time getting to the water ~ For lack luster expierence and horrid gameplay, basically sit and hope to god the other guy aint a dick.
And with how it seems most of the community is, that aint gonna happen and they are just gonna either make you starve or kill you outright. I know he is kind of unfinished (Water ecosystem is not done) but I find it to be a lackluster excuse for his sorry state, maybe an ambush mechanic that lets him pull in dinos who are smaller and drown them. Then allows him to eat within the water~ Make it his special thing
Tier 5: Fixing the Apex's

T.Rex
The T.Rex should have its bite force decreased from 1200 to 950 the rex has the best bone break in the game so that should be
the combat and hunting focus for players. also since the rex would be getting a nerf to it's damage, it would be fine to give the sub T.Rex a small bone break chance as well say 25%
chance would do nicely. The Rex would also need a increase to it's scent and tracking range making it a better scavenger and tracker. -
Giga
The Giga is actually in a good place it should be the Apex bleed king. Giving the Giga a Increase to bleed against other apexes would make him a bit more balanced.
The Giga should rely on his speed as well as being the fastest land Apex. A small increase to his Ambush length and crouch speed would help him become the Ambush nightmare.
Since the Giga would be getting a increase to his bleed damage a small nerf to his damage bringing it down to 700 or 650 would really help with balance.
Also a increase to his resistence to bleed damage and heal would make him much more enjoyable. -
Spino
The largest Apex on the list should have the a nice bite force but the best health. With a bite force of 850 and the best health of the Carno Apex's, the spino take a beating and keep on kicking, Spino will be respected.
The Spino should have the best stamina but the slowest Ambush and max speed in the game on land. If hunting on land it should rely on its superior walk/trot speed being able cover great distances to catch,
its prey. Without needing to Ambush. Since the Spino will in or near water being its prime focus area it should be a great swimmer with a increase to its Ambush from water.
Spino should have great turn speed and overall maneuverability in the water.
Closing thought this will give each Apex a defined focus as well as bringing them down just enough to not be so overpowered, thats what the strains are for lol.
Tier 4. Dino fixes

Cerato
Certo movements when in ambush, turning and pathing needs to be Fluid seeing as it was the smallest of the the Tier 4 dino's.
Cerato: Needs better health bring back the tanky Cerato with its new speed and stamina this will make the Cerato a proper threat.
Cerato needs better resistances its in a strange place where it went from being a face tanking beast to having no identity at all. its speed and stamina are in a pretty good place.
Cerato's should be at a place where 4 should be able challenge to any apex. -
Allo
Thats right lets correct this mistake.
The Allo is the most balanced entry level carnivore but its classed as a Tier 3 dinosaur which is a mistake since it was bigger than the Cerato and probably a better hunter overall.
Not much to say about the Allo it has great speed, Stamina, hunger, if anything should be changed it would be that it would need a small increase to its bite damage bring it to 400 flat. -
Sucho
More health and a large increase to its walk speed. the Sucho should be poetry in motion like the spino it should cross land and catch prey with its stamina and walk speed.
Increase its health but leave its damage where it is currently at around 350. Sucho is another hunter that will stay close to water so it should have a boost to its ambush and overall speed when leaving the water
making surprise attacks possible. Sucho should focus on fishing mostly and real combat power should come from its great speed in the water making it a dart. I would like to see a small increase to its stamina recovery as well.
Tier 3.

Utah Raptor
less bleed damage but an increase to its Bite damage. soon the raptor will be able to latch on to other dinosaurs which is amazing.
it has the best ambush speed,trot, maneuverability and the best tool kit overall compared to other carnivores. not much needs to be changed -
Carno
The (Bull) is another carno in a very weird place its stamina recovery sucks. Its IK needs a lot of work and its damage and bleed really leave it in a strange place as well.
Not sure what will fix this. The carno has no ambush so it relies or its bite and go mechanics. Carno's need to feel rewarded so reduce the health and jack up the damage!!
Bring the Carno's damage up to 250 or 300. I know 300 is a lot but this would mean the carno's health can be reduced and he would now become a glass cannon.
this also means we could leave the bleed damage where it is and players won't feel robbed. The bleed could be lowered a bit to adjust for the Tier 4 damage increase.
9.Dilo
Honestly nothing really needs to be changed the Dilo is in a great place i honestly can't think of any real changes besides its juvie ambush animations, maybe a small increase to juvie bleed
help. Also i would like to see the Dilo be able to eat more gore piles.

This is a pretty basic suggestion, but please add shant and anky to survival, rex and giga are in and the only one who can counter them is trike, many people would love to play shant and anky and we need more powerful herbivores
So i don't know how true it is that raptor rock got removed, but in case that it did or didn't, It would be better to make it so larger carnivores/herbivores have the ability to climb certain terrains. OR change the raptor rock to have a entrance or two from the outside people can walk up.
This would eliminate AFK growing without the removal of map terrain. Which i believe should be more complex
I know paras already gotten a buff but their headbutt is still something that needs to be fixed. It can't even hit its targets because their run animation makes it too high. Maybe implement what Sour said here.

Revised the Baryonyx document based off criticisms I receieved from the last iteration, other than numerous small changes, i've added more content to the "Comparison" section in the hopes to better convey how I believe Bary can play differently from the other fishing creatures, I've added a diagram to the Jaguar-hunting style mechanic, added some shared mechanics for the Isle's three spinosaurs, each with their own variations. I added some additional information regarding Bary's lifestyle such as how Affininity could affect it.

Herbivore strains that are rarer than the carnivore strains, but become carnivorous themselves as part of the mutation. Hear me out.
This is a survival-horror game. What could be more horrifying than chilling out with your herd when suddenly a member of the group begins to mutate? He suddenly starts going through and killing all his former friends, eating their flesh and growing and mutating more and more right before your eyes as you either flee or try to kill him before it's too late. I don't know about you, but I think that's some serious nightmare fuel right there.

Bleed res. and heal should be able to easily survive 2 dilo bites even with bleed so it is the thought guy its suposed to be and doesn't get kited by 1 utah / dilo

Saw a pretty cool interaction today. A juvi dibble (obvious new player by the call spam) somehow seemed to have befriended an Avacera and they were huddled together when i found them. Unfortunately I needed food. Would be cool to see more player interaction with the AI on the herbivore side of things.

Idea for preventing or hindering apex mega packs/herds: Whenever 4 or more adult apex's gather within a certain distance, there should be a good chance of a herd or pack of high weight class AI that comes to attack them and won't stop pursuing them until the players or AI have been killed. For carni players, have shant or theri AI whenever they are implemented. For herbi's, have acro AI.
make dividers/titles for herbis and carnis in the selection menu:
ie "apex" "midtier" "smalltier", along with a difficulty description for the class/tier
may help drive people away from choosing apex straight away

Possibly adding in a feature in settings to disable the glitch affects when you are near human objects? It's starting to annoy many players and cause headaches, etc. You don't have to remove it entirely, just allow us to.. get rid of it and enable it when we want.

Have a Herd system, make it to where you can be invited to a Herd just like how nest and group invites are. For example, a trike gets invited into a herd, you can now see the herd icon/names. Yet you are also still be in a group as well with only your own kind so you can talk around the map. You can see in a tab to who is in the herd, yet you can only talk to the herd in local and not a group.
So pretty much, no herd chat. Just can only talk through local if in herd.
What about a mechanic that if past 3 adult apex's (rex / giga etc) are within a certain radius, food spawning stops completely for them, forcing them to split up in order for AI to spawn. Right now on US3 we have 3! 5 pack rex packs controlling different corners of the map. It's a bit insane, and they are able to keep themselves alive purely on AI
Because gigas don't get an increased limit, the only counter to rex's at large pack sizes is other rex's, it seems quite broken

A Dino Skin option where you don't have to always go to the skin page. I have a kinda lagy PC in the Skin page and it delays my playing time depending on how much i've played but if we could choose to pick our skin or just to spawn in, that would be great.
when making a skin for a juvie were you can tab on a window and show how it looks when you reach adult, like a pull down menu that allows you to look at the different stages to see what it looks like ass it grows
Have Ai spawn similarly to how bushes spawn; random placement throughout the world. This will encourage carnivore migration rather than camping one spot waiting for food to spawn (this is why raptor rock was such a problem; It was not the rock. It was the AI spawning mechanics allowing said rock to be abused rather than forcing you to choose between a "safe" area and finding food), and as such make hunting more impactful. Similarly to how suchos use water as a safe zone, utahs use rocks. What changes their behavior is how the food is handled.
It will also remove the issue of herbivores knowing carnivores are in the immediate area due to ai spawning in and calling; thus putting them on high alert when the carnivore may still be hidden entirely and not have alerted them at all, or might not even be aware herbivores are nearby as it passes through looking for a meal.
It's really frustrating to walk the entire map just to try and meet up with your friend(s) after dying. I wish there was a way you could teleport to a friend in some manner. Maybe you and your friend after getting into a group can enter a command and both dinos have to stand still for like 20 seconds and one dino will teleport to another. Im getting sick of dying and then walking for 20+ minutes just to find my friend and then attempt to get back to the adult stage. At the very least I wish this was available in Sandbox mode.
In the Dock place where they have circle pipes, you should make it so juvies or small dinos in general be able to hide in them

Possibly making Acro more functional? They truly aren't that strong and have zero stamina. If either stam or strength was increased they could be competent, but they just don't work with both being very low
i think that the galli grow time should be reduced to 50mins or to 65mins since it can't kill anything and also i think that the giga time should be reduced slighty to 6hrs or 6hrs and 10mins
A stun mechanic that, rather than BB for dinosaurs like pachy, would be a type of injury that would knock over, disorientate, and in some cases completely disable prey for a short period of time (pachy hitting a Carno head-on, for example).
Buff Allosauros speed properly, its increase in speed isnt even 1km..at least give him 35km/h once adult...
Stop making sub gigas and sub rexes stronger than a fully grown Carno, Allo and cera. It makes no sense and it's pretty ridiculous and unrealistic

Take a look at the game ARMA, in the newbie settings there is a "situational awareness buff" - things and objects in hearing distance have an transparent aura/dot (for example white) on the edge of the screen - showing the direction its comming from.
I guess that's the only solution I can see - allthough it could be an unfair advance for players who are not deaf in the first place.
I guess you could force all sound off if this option is checked on.
I think dilos speed needs to be faster but i think they need to make the color wheels back i mean they took red and black away and i like using black and allos speed sense the new patch is redunk a dunk

Suggestion: Have the growth system on a counter like it is now. Change the growth rate to a multiplier based on your health, food, and water percentages. This would allow for some player to be larger and stronger as a full-grown adult and some would be like the runt smaller and weaker.

Adult Dryo could use a kick attack to defend against smaller preds like juvenile utahraptor. (As the default peck-attack doesn't look like something that'd do much)
Juvi Utah could have something of a staggering mechanic so that it gets pushed back/falls to ground when it's kicked, but it wouldn't take much damage from dryo kicks.
This so that invading a dryo burrow won't become a death trap for the utah. More like, you can get kicked by the dryo so the dryo may have a chance to escape, but you still have a decent chance of killing it too. Would make Dryo vs JuvUtah more balanced. Will also fit together with the "hardy small predator" player fantasy about juvi utah gameplay. You can be slowed down by a self-defending dryo but not just killed by it too easily. While giving the dryo more cards to play in these situations so that it won't feel like an OP midget is butchering you with no problem.
Buff giga run turn to be more agile than rex and nerf him trot turn who is just op, same than walk and faster.

Updated the Jaguar-hunting mechanic due to criticisms of how it could be used by Ceratosaurus. Went more in-depth with additional information and the help of visual diagrams, ultimately it's more specialised towards Bary while still keeping within the proposed niche.
Revert sub food pools to as they were before the most recent up date.
Introduce some sort of illness mechanic or possibly disease that makes the game more realistic. For example, if you are starving or unable to find a steady food source you could be slightly nerfed, have lower body weight and less strength until you can find food again. Would encourage more hunting instead of camping from carnivores (and as someone who plays rex a lot, it would make battles between apex pairs more common and interesting, as well as necessary)
Give Galli a claw attack so it can attack while troting/walking
Im not sure why rex is the only creature in the game that has leg break, while other dinos rely on leg break to escape fights and survive. An Ankylosaurus should have leg break back, including shant, trike, etc. I suggest give the correct dinosaurs their corresponding abilities back?

Cerato gets a 6 second ambush with a 1.1x multiplier while allo gets a 1.3x multiplier for 12 seconds?!
FIX CERATO, PLEASE, Give it a 1.2x multiplier for 12 seconds, or a 1.25x multiplier for 10 seconds, or a 1.3x multiplier for 8 seconds. There is no reason for it to have a 1.1x ambush multiplier for 6 seconds. I remember Dondi saying Cerato would be able to run away and endure an allo attack, but having the l10 seconds on 2 bleed before falling dead. Please give it bleed resistance that isn't going to take 80% of its health at 3 bleed.
In addition, please give dilo a 1.2x or 1.25x ambush multipler for 10 or 12 seconds. Allo already out-ambushed dilo with its ambush timer and now it can with its speed by over 2 kilometers an hour. Dilo should be able to at least hit 44 kilometers an hour, but it can only hit 42.68 kilometers an hour, so allo outspeeds it, now.
carnos should be able to eat all size carcass as well as be able to ambush at adult stage. Also better turn radius during every maneuver : crouch, walk, trot, sprint.
Maybe larger dinosaurs should be able to eat small gore, but it doesnt give as much as eating large gore would and is only one bite or so. Like theyd just eat it all in one go and not get as much as a bite of larger gore would give them. Just so theres not like 80 small gore piles when a rex needs to eat. (Exaggeration, but still)
there should also be more color variability

Nerf Giganosauros alt turn speed...that thing is huge and rotates like a ballerina. Giga alt turn should be at the same level has a Trex due to its massive size and weight.

few bug fixes i think needs to be looked at, sub trike is super low damage. also i noticed it has permanent scent going after use, 10 mins solid i could see water and food.
but mainly i have ideas! i think when it rains, after its done there should be randomly scattered rain pools to drink from that dry up mid day orso. that way you wouldnt have to add more permanent water sources. what you have is good imo. also a new spawning location system, random coord generater that can be give you absolute random spawn location, be good to make sure it wouldnt spawn you ontop of mountains, in the ocean, or in impossible to getin/out of locations. beach spawning seems to void life along any part of the coast and too many servers have no beach killing rules, i would love to see life and herds happening along the coasts! maybe bring something to the table that gets everyone on the outer parts of the isle instead of concentrated in the middle like plethora of herbie food and small ditches of collected water scattered here and there along the coasts. the new spawn idea i have would help with bringing the coast lines to life. i also think the archipelago islands need some attention. i would love to go out there and explore but cant without water... whats up with it if we cant go there? ive actually spawned there once and was sad i had to suicide/die of thirsy....

Fix AI on ISLE v3 (So you don't gotta run for two hour, and starve to death 3 times before you find your friend .. only hearing 1 single AI) .. 200 slots server, and i died 3 times, with no AI.
(That in mind i know the servers bug with over 100 slots, but thats what i mean that it could be looked into) -
Either reduce the size so you don't run for 3 hours on that map, or add some extra waterholes so you can actually survive to run that distance to find your friends

Spinosaurus would have 7K weightmass with 7.5K health, doing 375 damage. His base bleed would be 15.
He'd be running at 29 km/h with only better stamina then a Giga by a decent enough margin, but have better regen.
His ambush multi would be 1.35, making him run at 39.15 km/h for 8 seconds.
He'd have aquatic abilities like Sucho, but not overextending Sucho's abilities, such as fishing.
He'd heal 400 health back whilst resting. He'd have the higher bleed res then T.rex and Giga.
Bleed heal would be 12 while resting.
Spino Juvie-120 mins
Spino Subadult-180 mins
Spino Adult-120 mins
7 hour growth time.
This is only for it's future in survival
I would love to see an adjustmebt of the Giganotosaurus carolinii run and ambush speed. It's current speed is nothing but unreal compared the to real-life and compared to it's main rival, the T. rex. Science says 50 km/h, but that would be too fast. Maybe just for ambush, but for now a T. rex is just superb with it's unbelievable speed. I guess many people mentioned that here before, so sorry for saying it again if that's the case.
Suggestion: Open up the full RBG or HEX Color Pallet for each of the dino color slots please.
A boring, but highly necessary suggestion:
The search feature for looking up servers is completely and utterly broken.
-The list does not show all the servers.
-If its too much, perhaps tabs for server lists per map
- Alphabetize them?
- Searching for a server name either gives no results or completely random ones. Often times the names that pop up on the list for searching do not even relate to the search terms inputted.
- Perhaps modify the key words or search via first word alphabetically?
- Add a favorites list?
- Due to the lack of being able to properly search for servers, or find previously visited ones on the master list. This can make it almost impossible to find and rejoin favorite servers. Having a recently visited list, or a way to star/mark preferred servers would be optimal to keeping this game alive.
clicking the ping, name etc on top to sort the servers from lowest to highest ping or choosing to sort them by name etc would be nice

Trike needs some changes to it:
- The food drain for it makes 0 sense. Its already easy food for apexes and it kinda prevents people from wanting to play/create herds.
- Give trike some form of damage buff to counter apex attacks, a rex can just break its leg and leave to heal and giga can just run in and bite letting it bleed out. Since trike can't escape these
encounters it should be able to defend itself from them and it takes 6hrs to grow which is the same time as rex/giga.
Idea 1
- Thought it would be good for a drop down option to choose either Juvi, Sub or Adult when changing colours so you can properly see what your character will look like when it's fully grown or just see what it will look like at the different stages.

- Have a Transparent option in settings for group names in game so they're not so bold.
can possibly have the ability to graze as herbivores? perhaps it REALLY slowly fills hunger, or keeps hunger from depleting as long as they constantly nom grass?

Male/female pair nesting;
Males could be the ones to make the nests, and females gestate/incubate eggs. This would make it so nesting requires both sexes, and there could be patriarchs that hatchlings could inherit colors from as well.
i know there's supposed to be a nesting system eventually but this could be a placeholder until it's finished

^ I second the above suggestion by adding: It would be nice to have a way to warn another dinosaur without using a dramatic posture and loud 3 call if you just want to make a small point and don't intend to engage in a fight. Normally using 3 call starts fights and it would be nice to have a way to make your point clear, but not hint that you want to fight as well (if that just made sense).
Flyers should have the chance to temporarily blind any dino that they claw while flying đ¤
I think it would be more realistic if you added a system to growth that took in account food/water
For example; a dinosaur that keeps itself healthy and well fed and well watered grows faster(the time on the wiki would be the fastest possible time under the best circumstances)
like i said, would just be a bit more realistic and would make apexes more difficult to grow
Another example; Say you are under 50% hunger or 50% water, for a certain amount of time, it adds more time to your growth
Juvie rex that cannot find food or water, and keeps its stats under 50% for 5 minutes, adds 10 minutes to its growth time per 5 minutes under the 50%
I would like to suggest the pack limit for apexes,(that is, rex giga and trike perhaps too) be cut down to 3. as well as put a pack limit on allos, ceratos, and the like, though im not exactly sure what that would be
You should add a queue to joining servers. Joining the popular servers at peak times can prove next to impossible.
Fix how V3 lags a lot when 150+ players get on.
better bleed resistance for cerato, intent is that allo should kill a cera by brute force instead of bleeding it out very easily. like make it the honeybadger scavenger of the isle that it should be.
I think the day/night balance needs to change. Currently its 30mins of day 30mins of night. When you factor in 5 mins for dusk and 5mins for dawn thats essentially 20mins of daylight and 40mins of darkness. Feels like I spend most of my time in darkness. Why not make nights pitch black again so they cannot be gamma boosted, and increase day length to 1 hour. 1 hour of day, then 30mins of pitch dark night. That gives dilos their night advantage back and also gives the other dinos some actual time to explore the map and do things before they have to return to their nests to hide for the night. You could also possibly reduce Dilos hunger decay so they can survive the day light hours without starving if needed.
Would it be possible to get an auto-walk/trot feature at all? I don't think it'd give anyone a distinct advantage or anything, but it'd be nice to just press a button and toggle walking across the map rather than hold w the entire time. Just a minor QOL thing. ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Just a thought for the release of flying dinos in future. Taking flight with a wet membrane, the wing, would be pretty impossible for an airborne Dino. Perhaps, when it rains, youâre forced to land? This would make for some good competition between terrestrial and flying dinos, and surrender their invulnerability for a short period of time.
Should the carnotaurus get a faster start up time when crouching for 3 seconds as it starts up pretty slow.
Super hard to find anyone when scouting, mostly because you are nearly invisible sitting under trees, and the map is just full of them. Either 1) Make adult (mating status: capable) dinos involuntarily 1 call randomly every 3-4 minutes. You could write it off as dinos looking for mates from a lore perspective. But it at least allows us to know whats near by if we are hunting them, and would encourage people to move around the map. This would also still allow juvies to hide safetly as they wouldnt be calling for mates. Or, 2) Maybe even just make dinos poop/pee randomly every few mins, which leaves a scent marker, so if someone decides to sit under the same tree all day, any passing dino thats using scent will be able to find them.

Not a suggestion but not sure where to put it. Will dinos like Austro have the ability to have custom skins in the future? Since their skins are currently bugged, log out with female skin and log back in with a male one lol. More so will non survival dinos in general have customisable skins?

The more complicated and time consuming you wish your "dino's-life" to be (food/nesting/growth etc.)
the more you will rage when they introduce humans.. who might put a 0.50 Cal. round to your head and end your misery.. and put you on display... or make a T-rex BBQ...
Trikes are in need of a buff in the current meta. While on paper they are somewhat balanced (ie like in a 2v2 vs other apex) in practice that doesn't help because apex predators will just wait until they outnumber the trikes due to better mobility.
Right now trike gameplay consists of sitting in a herbie spot in some safe location until a larger group of apex predators comes and kills you. A buff to trikes would mean more interesting gameplay for herbivores and not just sitting in one spot.
It would also make things more interesting for carnivores since herbivores would be able to move around on the map more. Also right now a pack of rexes has nothing to fear so playing rex is a little boring, a buff to trikes would make rex gameplay more fun too since they have a challenge in fighting trikes. While I know the devs like rex being the strongest, the meta would actually be the healthiest when the strongest dinosaur is a herbivore.

Put some fish into the damn lakes, the poor Suchomimus doesnt have anything to do in the game...with the huge amount of Apex around its just walking food because its to slow on land but cant spend to much time near water cause theres no fish to hunt.
Textures need to be fixed, Low textures and high textures look exactually the same. I usually play the game in low textures, but the dinos dont gat blurried and its all good, but ,nowadays, all get blurried and i have to play on epic so i doesnt look ugly as fuck. If at least i could play on high textures, but it looks the same as low

Nerf the diablo bleed multiplier slightly? Right now, diablo can absolutely FLATTEN any mid tier and below (apart from sucho), and not one of them stands a chance. 3 hits from a. Diablo can put most dinosaurs on triple bleed, and itâs pretty stupid, and even more so annoying.

Make nights pitch black again . Right now everyone bumps their Gamma up at night time and can see clear as a day without the use of night vision. Night vision is almost useless at this point and dilos are at very very big disadvantage. Most of the dilo players don't play that dino any more because of everyone else being able to see clearly at night time.
Not only this but when you made nights visible you removed one very important thing from the game. That fear factor that comes with the night as they were before! Using your night vision to be able to see and in the next moment seeing that T-Rex coming out from the darkness and scaring the sh*t out of you! It was so much more scary, fun and interesting with the pitch black nights ! Brighter nights (Non existent with Gamma) are ruining the quality of the game.
Can death noises be heard from a little bit of a longer distance or be louder in general? In the middle of a battle at night, it can be hard to tell if someone or something you have fighting (not your pack member, group members suddenly disappearing is obvious) has died until you see the body.

Dino poop: Every dino needs to poop every once in while, (time and size changes depending on the dino), after a while the smell spreads, being detectable with sniffing (range depends on dino, bigger dino's poop wider range).
We should do a competition for the coolest roar someone can design. Like people make a roar for a dinosaur in the game, upload it to YouTube, submit it here, or something, and the devs pick their favorite. Winners donât have to win anything but maybe the roars could be featured in game.

Make AI give minimal food. Around 2-3% of food is enough (I know this may not sound like a lot but Al is walking around food, really easy to hunt.) The spawns on v3 are fine rn, but the spawns on thenyaw is a little bit much. This will make people not want to play carnivore. Herbivore should be able to find lots of food. People should be encouraged to play herbivore. Food systems work well, as a carnivore not finding food could mean the different between starvation and living another day. I know a lot of people are going to hate on me for this, but it makes people less reliant on AI, decreasing the carnivore population by starving them out, and make herbivore life less stressful. Herbivore life should be fun and playful, while carnivore life is stressful. I know my suggestion will be lost in the sea of suggestions but hopefully you will consider it by giving it a check! Feel free to PM me if you do not believe what am saying.
P.S. - Iâm a die hard carnivore player and looking for a way to make me like herbis/dislike carnivore.
Has anyone, devs included, thought of this to add to the game: A third human choice known as researcher. Now hear me out, it is a non-violent human that has a camera and research equipment and they can go out and get pictures and research on different dinosaurs and can get more points for certain pictures or research they gather. This research is for working with other players and can help them unlock weapons and gear for fighting dinos that are harder to kill, or almost impossible, like strain dinos.

a friend and i killed an allo as sub rexes and had to sit down to heal the unimaginable bleed, on last screen and starving while being unable to eat the body bc if we stood we'd die. we took one tick of food damage and then died on the spot. :/
After 12am, night becomes dark enough and you need to use your night vision in order to see. So that gives dilos the advantage they need. I can agree with how bright night is in the beginning and how dark it is later on. But please, for the love of God, do something about gamma abusers, it truly ruins the game. Otherwise, revert night to being pitch black, at least that way its gonna be fair for everyone. Thank you for reading this, and please consider it.
There should be an ability to get rid of or at least tone down the seizure inducing effect from being near buildings, or it should just be toned down altogether because when i say its seizure inducing im serious
Remove Static from human buildings it has no reason to be there right now. Maybe when humans are in it would kinda make sense "Oh look a rex let me just give him a siezure with this static". But for the time being remove it.
I would Love if Ambience and Effects sound were separate, sometimes its a little annoying when the ambience is too loud and you cant hear footsteps.
Most carnivore animals that stalk prey sniff while sitting or crouched. Most herbivore animals stiff while standing up in a stretching fashion. So my suggestion is all carnivore dinos to sniff sitting or crouched. And Herbies while walking but stretch head upward.
Allow biting / eating while sitting. I donât know of any animal that has not bitten or eaten while laying down. It happens in nature all day every day.
Groups: It would be nice if only the group former is able to invite other people into the group. Right now it often comes to situations where the group growth goes out of hand, while some people prefer smaller groups or a certain group size., etc. Group members would just like now still be able to make suggestions to invite person A, B...etc. But one person should have the control over it.

Give suchos a buff to stealth. (Make it so that they are harder to spot when sitting or crouched). They are in a good spot except that they die to the first apex that comes along so make it harder for apexes to see them. This will play into their camping playstyle.

Major change would be to make it that you attack with the left click and your tail will swing in the direction you are facing. The swing will be moderately paced. Right click would be a little swing directly behind you dealing half damage and half bleed to combat any surprises or ass riding

If latch biting ever becomes a thing in the future, creatures filling the three main play styles, i.e Bleeders, Crushers, and Fishers; Should be fitted with unique differences to their bite latching
Crushers(Tyrannosaurids)
Currently composed of T-Rex, these animals are quite famous for their immense bite force and ease to kill certain animals in a short amount of time. In conjunction with this idea a Crusher's bite and latch ability could be composed as such.
- Shortest time to kill of any other carnivore
- A time cap between 5 and 15 seconds could be fitted to these creatures depending on the size, shortest being the smaller creatures, longest being the larger/same tier animals.
- In counter to such a short time to kill, Crushers could have a 'average' ability to grip, allowing larger creatures such as Giga or Spino to pull away from the bite before their time runs out.
- TLDR; Crusher have the shortest time to kill, sometimes only seconds depending on the size differences between the two creatures, but also sport an average grip, allowing for a persistent enough creature to escape death at the last second
Bleeders(Allosaurids)
The two main creatures in this line up currently being Allo and Giga have been shown to be more tied into a hit and run tactic of fighting. So in hopes to help keep that in tact, their bite and latch system could be structured as such.
- Arguably the worst grip out of any Carnivore, easiest to escape from.
- While these animals lack the sheer grip of Fishers or crusher, they have one advantage the others lack. the more an animal struggles to pull away, the more their small, specialized teeth begin to rip apart the portion of the body they latch onto. Thus leaving the animal with a higher bleed amount.
-TLDR, the more something struggles and thrashes against a bleeder, the more bleed and later damage they will have inflicted upon them.
Fishers(Spinosaurids)
Within the current game mode 'Survival' sucho makes up the only fishing dinosaur, with Spinosaurus coming at a disclosed time. While these two may lack the sheer bite force of a Crusher, or the serrated teeth of a bleeder; they support conical teeth designed for gripping onto prey items like fish. While Actual dinosaur flesh is one thing, for sakes of gameplay, this is what their system could mirror.
-Arguably the best grip of any carnivore in the game, meaning they are the hardest to escape. Also sport the lowest damage in relation to grip
-Unlike bleeders and Crushers, fishers use their superior weight mass too exhaust latched targets until the Fisher, Suchomimus/Spinosaurus in this case, can over power and ultimately put the target on the ground. i.e An opponent does not need to be dead for a Fisher win the fight, more so exhausted to the point where they can no longer fight back against the attacking opponent
-TLDR; While having the best grip, fishers have the worst time to kill of any carnivore, more relying on their sheer size to over power and exhaust the opponent. This would allow for two animals, to have the chance of rescuing one another from a spinosaurs/suchomimus who might be gripped onto them.
Could it be possible to give adult dryo back its previous strength? Thereâs no reason fir it to have been nerfed to the point it can barely handle a juvi utah. If a juvi utah invades the burrow it should have a chance to defend itself but as it is itâs a walk in buffet for the young utah. I get that there needs to be a counter to the burrows but nerfing the strength of dryo wasnât it honestly.
Quadruped carnivores such as kaprosuchus and postosuchus would be really cool, and so would dimetrodon and megalania (as Ai maybe)

Kinda bummed a lot of trees from the waterfall area -280,370. I feel like it was a lot prettier with all the trees, i understand they were pretty dense and amybe got removed so people could maybe see better, but i think some trees added back would be good since it was such a pretty spot.
I also wanna echo some of the other suggestions about the static effect when around human buildings for two reasons, one being in some areas it makes framarate drop and causes lag, and the other being seizure and migraine related. Some of the flashing is pretty intence, and i could see it being a problem for people who get seizures, I don't get seizures but I do get chronic migraines, and the static flashing started to trigger one for me which was a bit of a bummer. I'm not totally sure on the reason for it happening other than being a deterrant because the areas as still in progress, but I just wanted to give some input.
Another suggestion I wanted to make was maybe some different biomes? I know we have some jungle areas which are really neat, but maybe some deserty areas with sandier colors, and maybe some colder looking areas up in the mountains? I know this suggestion is a lot more of a heavier one since it'd require textures and new assets and such, but i think it'd add a lor of good variety to the map.
I've got a question, can we hosts be able to play the hypos? With a command or something? Would be awesome totale control and have some fun in your server where you pay a lot of money for every month.
@lapis moss the issue with that is a lot of herbivorous animals have damn near 360' eyesight which might make a pretty wonky camera đ
Some more foliage types, such as those long stalks in test levels? Would look really cool and make a great filler for areas that lack much foliage, and would offer some new gameplay techniques, hiding spots, etc. (A field with long stalks and a formation similar to raptor rock would be great, not only for raptors to hide and nest, but also provide cover for larger dinosaurs, making nesting on the rock a risky business)
Can juvie rex and juvie giga have better bleed heal? It takes 10 minutes to heal five bleed damage. Hit 20 and it's practically a death sentence because they starve to death.
Perhaps, can juvie rex and giga heal 1 bleed a minute instead of healing .5?

An icon or option people can check or opt-in that displays by their names either on the tab list or nest list that indicates they are open to nest invites /want to be nested. This way people spamming random invites can try them first.

Trike stomp should be increased to 1200 damage. 4-shots rex.
would be cool if now and then after a fight, some of the scratches of blood that appear. would stay as persistent scarring. the colour would change more to match your skin, but you could see a veteran Dino a mile off from is scars.
Cerato needs a bleed resist buff (at LEAST as good as Carno) and an ambush speed multiplier of about 1.2-1.25x. As it stands, it ambushes significantly slower than an Allosaurus ambush (ambush speed BARELY edges out Pachy, who is supposed to be âcerato foodâ) and also bleeds out super easily (2 Allo nips and a short chase will kill a Cerato). While Allo obviously should be the stronger predator, it should kill Cerato mostly through raw damage, not bleed. Cerato getting a bleed resist buff would also prevent smaller dinos from bleeding it out so easily, especially Dilos (Cerato vs Dilo matchup should work similar in how a mongoose vs cobra would be). If these two stats were to be adequately buffed, Cerato would fulfill the small but tough honeybadger dino role perfectly as it was meant to be.
Re-adding fake limp? It's a fair tactic especially if you have a nest to protect.. and I can't really see a reason not to have it

A way to reduce your own stomping volume, like others can hear like it's supposed to be but so that it sounds less hard to you. Those stomps especially as apexes start echoing through your head eventually
Buff Pachy bleed resist, it doesn't make sense for a car sized mountain of muscle and bone to die to bleed from literally anything with teeth
-More pitch black caves throughout the map (Especially mountains), they could serve as both ambush points and hiding places

the ability to see how far away your group members are! perhaps by utilizing opacity? the more translucent a nametag is, the further away they are (though never fully disappearing) and the closer the more opaque! it can be super difficult to tell how far away group members are (are they 100 feet away, or halfway across the map? no way to tell!) some type of indication would be super appreciated, though!
I suggest in the distant future, in which Aku reigns these dinos should be added, Megalania a giant ass 26ft monitor lizard ancestor which probably lived as modern day komodo's do, eating everything that moves including their own kind, biting big ass things and watching them die of infection and gathering up for a feeding frenzy then migrating across seas from island to island because they don't give a shit. Testudo Atlas, huge ass land tortoise 8ft long 6ft high, mighta ate grass/fruit or some shit, not much else to say there, but getting bit by turtles hurts like hell and going into a shell and laughing at a starving rex would be hilarious. Elasmosaurus which could be a 46ft spooky ai bastard at the beach that can give fresh spawns a bad time by snaking their heads out of the water onto the shore and dragging them under they are said to breath air so instead of a stamina meter just have em bob their heads out of the water every now and then, maybe do a spooky call when they do it. Archaeopteryx 14in long raptor which could probably fly/glide short distances, it was an insect eater and could be a fun AI for juvis to try and catch, they could have set spawns by rivers/ponds where them butterflies/dragonflies are at. Lastly just delete the Camarasaurus and put Amargasaurus into the game, its a 33ft vegetarian dragon without wings, had 2 rows of spines growing up from its backbone, cool as hell, Trump would be proud.
Fix Tracking so that you can actually track an animal past 50 yards
Allow dino to mark the ground. That way they can come back to an exact spot no matter how far they have to leave for water.
how about giving flyers fog or making players on ground look transparent, depending on how high they are flying to counter flyer spies.

A suggestion for the NEW Spion when it comes to survival: maybe give it the ability to use his claws in a fight, i mean look at his arms they are meant to kill atleast small to med dinos. So an attack like theri or something would be nice. Also it could youse his claws to catch big fishes when added.
Add illnesses and disabilities.
Illness: something that lasts a certain amount of time and gives a dino debuffs.
Disabilities: random chance in getting a minor disability that can affect sight, smell, strenght or speed of a dino.
Bleeding - Stamina:
Not my idea initially (credits to Sammel), but please consider rethinking how bleeding works.
It could be more enjoyable that the bleedattack/dot would drain stamina instead of health.
That would hinder your ability to run away, but still give you the chance to fight, rather then watching your self bleed out.
I can imagin fights becomming more engaging and fun with this addition.

This would make bleed into a tool for hunting and defence. Bleed your prey and you will eventually be able to catch up, bleed your attacker and you might get away.
Think about Bonebreak as a "root", then bleed would be a "snare".
It would resemble bloodlos/weakening a metabolism more then just make someone die instantly after bleeding some time running around happily.
I agree that the "fun" of this mechanic has to be seen/tested, but please consider it atleast.

Herbivores need more support - triceratops could use a buff, considering all of the buffs on carnivore apexes, especially now that Rexes have a smaller turn radius, which was the main advantage of Trikes against them. Triceratops should make apexes reconsider attacking them and due to their slow speed be able to run away, pretty much as a deterrent against attacks to the herbivores, which would require extra thought/planning/skill to attack a group of herbivores.

Remove how footsteps glow like blood stains under a UV light under night vision. Isn't that what scent is for? Also, can footprints be detected through foliage like gore can?
A pulse sound that is not present at 75%+ hp, and starts out slow and quiet, then grows faster and louder the lower your hp is.
To avoid annoying people with bad hp heal, maybe it stops making this noise 30 seconds after the last time you got hit/healed from bleed. This would add more intensity to a fight immersion wise, as well as push a bit more of the horror/fear inducing themes the isle wishes to obtain.
Picking up baby dinosaurs in your mouth and picking up dead dinosaurs that are smaller than you so you can bring them back to your nest and drop it off and it would fill up the nests food
The ability to click-copy names/IDs straight out of the player list, or be able to highlight them for easy copy-paste? For the ease of server staff punishing players on the spot without having to slowly type it out letter for letter or number for number
Gimmick ideas
Allosaurus: Can grab and run with small prey, pin down medium prey (Pachy, Utah, Galli ), and slow down larger prey. Grabbing causes no damage, and bite can be used while grabbing. Activated by secondary attack key or automatically grabbing first contacted dinosaur while ambushing.
Carnotaurus: Honestly no idea. Maybe ramming. Dunno.
Ceratosaurus: Can smell farther than others, Can smell nests, burrows, corpses, blood, and dinosaurs who lay down to long leaving a scent. Can also cause infected wound, which prevents any healing to occur until the infection wears off. Does not impact bleed, and does not stack more than once. Stacking represents time to heal, and doesnât impact health directly.
Dilophosaurus: Night vision, crazy bleed. Not much.
Giganotosaurus: Wider range of view relative to other apexes. Inflicts heavy bleed and has above average trot.
Suchomimus: Can eat fish, stay in water longer than most, and swim faster than most. Has a secondary claw attack that snags small prey and inflicts damage. Cannot grab medium prey (Utah, pachy, Galli). But inflicts damage instead. Can be used simultaneously while biting, assuming the bite damage would get a nerf. If not, then it cannot be simultaneously used while biting.
Tyrannosaurus: While smelling is enabled, any moving dinosaurs will be highlighted to the rex (re-creating Rexâs insanely good vision). Does not go through solid objects, similar to how you canât see highlighted rivers through trees. Works during night and rain, but the smelling element will not work if raining.
Or pressing a key will disable idle animations for Rex, allowing it to stay almost perfectly still as a camouflage technique. F-calls will also be mostly inaudible to all except other rexes. Disabled by walking.
Utahraptor: Can pounce and hang onto larger prey while dealing damage via biting. Will pin down small prey.
Fix Trike Gore Attack Hitbox pls, u cant hit targets even if you are inside of them while they are moving, meanwhile rex and giga have a hitbox the size of the map
I think it would be neat if dinos could have secondary attacks, such as Allo, Sucho and Spino having their bite as primary damage dealer and then a secondary "claw attack" with those beefy arms that don't do as much damage but in turn do a lot more bleed then the former. Something similar could be done with Trike, maybe gores are primary damage while the stomp is slow and hard to execute but does bonebreak.
The growl allo does when laying down is too loud. I can't even begin to describe how many allos ive killed just because ive heard their idle resting sounds from like 20 meters away. Maybe reduce the sound by a bit?
Add the ability to not be able to damage allies in your group by biting.
for utahraptor (balancing purposes) latching onto prey, would it be for every dino bigger than it because cerato in particular would not stand much of a chance against 1 utah if it latches onto u as he is weak to bleed and a few bites from a utah would bleed him out easily.
Nerf the Utahraptor's health pool (not mass) Utahraptor is a glass cannon and currently offers a lot of resistance with 1200 hp
Doesn't need to be a massive nerf, just 1000 or 900 will do it.
Adding a small size raptor variant such as Deinonychus. Then we'd have different class Raptors to choose between as Utah is a 2 meter height raptor and the only atm on survival. Deinonychus would specialize in low tier animals such as Dryos and Juveniles due to it's smaller size reaching on max 1 meter on height making it easier to hide from both prey and predator. It seems a better option than just adding Austro on survival considering it is about the same size of a Utah, then we would just have two almost identical class Raptors disregarding Austro has a 4x lower health.
I'm going to lump 2 major suggestions I've heard into one possible (?) solution and would like to expand on in this post in a way they could cohesively function in-game. If you like these ideas, let me know by giving me a thumbs up or a thumbs down as I want to hear feedback from other players.
A major issue I see people complain about in-game sometimes is that people occasionally abuse alternate accounts to "stack up" on animals and have an unfair advantage in a competitive and natural environment. A classic example of this would be a person losing a fight as a Trike vs a Rex, but right after this fight the person goes to log in on their alternate account with another trike in the same area to kill the Rex player who killed him. This happens sometimes in almost every server, and sometimes it's difficult to prove this actually occurs because the player doesn't tell people who aren't in their friend group they are using an alternate account. I understand that buying multiple copies on alternate accounts financially benefits the game and contributes to paying development costs, but I don't think these players should be given an unintentional in-game advantage for doing this.
Another suggestion I've seen brought up is that certain servers should have shared save systems (such as the 3 official US servers which all run V3), although this would be impossible using the current system in place as you wouldn't want to only have access to your Tyrannosaurus across all 3 official servers, and would like a bit of variety in your play style or would like the opportunity to play something else. Shared server saves are not fun or reasonable with the current dinosaur saving/selection system as you would be trapped on a single faction/animal across multiple servers.
However, there's a possible solution to one (or both?) of these issues: Making it so you go to dinosaur selection menu whenever you log in universally, and have the option to load a certain number (optional by server) of playable animals on one account, with the possibility of shared save systems across multiple servers owned by the same users. This would reduce the "pay-to-win" stigma associated with alternate accounts (making growing animals on alternate accounts useless) but still allow a variety of play-styles. In addition, safe-logging would take you to dinosaur selection menu instead of to main menu (if you do not safe-log, you have a timer penalty of 5 minutes before you can turn into a different animal or faction. If you safe-log, you still have a timer penalty of 1 minute to load into your existing animal to prevent spawn-in abuse cases.) I have no clue how possible or feasible this idea actually is, but I would be interested in receiving some feedback to see what people think.

A buff to juvie utah speed OR hunger would be much appreciated. Its hunger burns out so quickly that you are on the move constantly for food (which is a good thing; afking as a juvie utah is not possible, and this should honestly be a standard for any juvie), but dealing with the threat of velociraptors on top of other predators means you frequently do not have the chance to steal/tussle for food. As such, either a buff to hunger to allow them to look for food safely for a bit longer, or a buff to speed to better enable them to look for said food more efficiently would be adequate. Out of the two the hunger buff would be the better of the two I feel for balance's sake in regards to combat.
Some way to give the player more control over the speed of the growth of their character would be amazing. Nothing insane, but let's say for example playing the game at the maximum possible potential speed would cut a 7 hour growth down 1 hour max. I hate AFKing for hours straight waiting to be strong enough to actually play the game only to get oneshot, it makes it really unmotivating to make a new character when the only control over your character's progression is Time.
One possible solution my friend was for every player you kill, you get a VERY small amount of exp to your growth bar. (Killing bots should give less exp). For herbis idk, maybe add in rare types of plants that could increase your growth gain?
It would make sense from a realism standpoint as well, if youre a malnourished little dinosaur you won't grow that fast but being healthy and well fed would make it so.
Just ANY way to improve the growth system while still keeping the challenge/reward of putting a lot of time into growing.
Maybe fix the massive lag since the last 2 updates?
Add more utah colors? The off white, yellow and green headcrest colors really look kinda nasty.

New player species idea - You play as a swarm of insects like fire ants, wasps, or butterflies. Also it would cool to be able to play as a venomous or large snake.

TL:DR add a megalania as playable dino. I really hope someone sees this and the devs at least think about it... Megalania as a playable dinosaur. It can climb rocks and steeper hills than other dinos. It could weigh about 1 ton, 200 bite force and it can do very fast bursts of speed, when you crouch you only crouch down just enough to tell you are crouching and you become completely silent while crouching, and walk sort of like a chameleon. It would only have 1 minute stamina time because when you ambush you could catch a Utah (only if Utah is not ambushing) and when you are regular running you are about as fast as a dilo's run. Maybe the size of it could be a little shorter than rex in length and about as tall and a Utah. Growth time would be maybe 3 hours? please consider and ty if u read this (pls give feedback)

Heavier ragdolls because the ones we have now just kinda fall extremely slowly / stand up for a bit eventually to fall over on the side.
(Sometimes they are fine, but whenever i die as for example a Dilo or maybe some juvi dinosaur like cerato, my dinosaurs first move being a ragdoll is to stand up with its tail and head in the ground, and i saw a video of an older version of this game, and the bodies did NOT do that.)
Note: Giga ragdolls are kinda wack, they stretch in weird ways and curl up.
This was already suggested but ill reenforce it. Make nights darker or make them pitch black again. Night time isnt thrilling anymore, many ppl use gamma exploits to see. We should all be on the same spot during the night and we should be forced to use night vision.
When a animal hunts another they don't instantly die on the spot. They are alive long enough to move their head some and watch themselves be eaten. So how about that be a thing for the Isle? with the option to skip as well for the one's who want to die fast. This idea is for catching mixed packs because usually you will die before you get evidence against them.

I personally do not really like the stark contrast on most skins people make, and I am missing the professionalism of the old skins that we couldn't even change. I suggest maybe working on blending in the skins to make the colors fade together well, or a fade that casually shifts instead of randomly popping into another color? This opinion may be unpopular but I'm kinda wishing they were more aesthetically pleasing

Suggestion: Give sucho a better swim animation because as of right now it looks kinda wonky as its just the old one with his legs tucked up and more stream lined but a new one could be better a more crocodile like swim or somethin like that which would be not only aesthetically pleasing but opening doors for the soon to come fishing update.
Give sucho a diving option so that dino can actually use that swimming adventage to ambush other dinos from the water, it pretty obvious when u swim to kill your pray and everybody runs away,since its very slow on land let it be a top killer in aquatic areas.

Remove Utahs jump ability until pounce is added. It is currently a rather unrequired and very exploitable feature. A dinosaur doesn't really need the ability to jump unless it's ambushing it's prey to latch onto it, so why keep it in?

Bone break chance proportional to mass differences. A thing more massive than you should be more resilient to having its bones broken instead of a flat chance. If Pachy ended up with bone break, it could still have the small chance at bone break vs larger predators but greater chance vs smaller ones. Mostly, for now in survival it'd mean that Rexes couldn't near instant shatter the legs of trikes/gigas. Smaller dinosaurs could get bone break and still leave the best breakers being the biggest dinos.
I really would love the idea of Rexâs calls being less.. balloony? I canât be afraid of a rex screaming into the void if it sounds like someone letting air out of a balloon slowly, pinching the end so it squeaks.
It would sound a lot more like a threatening force if it were deeper, like a low rumble almost? I donât mind big boy roars much, but what bothers me is how rex wouldnât have even done that.
What if aquatic creatures like Deinosuchus and Sucho can pause their stamina when holding still in water and float to the surface, but can't gain stamina in the water?
hey how ABOUT adding more food sources in the game like herrera could exploit beehives and anthills with its climbing ability while still being a scavenger. or perhaps crabs on beaches,some mushrooms that almost look identical but one can make you sick temporally and stuff like that, i find it boring that every carni has to eat normal corpses which is why fishing excites me.

What if humans need to cook meat? So they don't eat it raw, what if they can create fires that:
- Create light at night
- Cook meat
- Create Torches for Tribals?

Dinosaurs having to defecate- as your hunger goes down your feces bar goes up. Depending on how full it is you get slight debuffs to your speed and if it stays full for longer the debuff increases, adding an attack deuff. feces would give off a strong scent varying with the type of food eaten. This would help hunters track their prey, apexes with establishing territory and with signifying which dinosaurs are in the area. Also if a dinosaur touches the feces they'd be able to be tracked by the scent. Not completely sure about all dinos needing animations for defecation, but some might.
Increase young adult utah weight
When I'm near water, all I hear are frogs... why can't I find some frogs to eat as a juvie? It's somewhat confusing for new players, they hear something they think they might be able to eat near water that they can never find.

An adrenaline system where if a dino is surrounded by 3+ of dinos that weigh somewhat more that it (sub utah and adult dilos) the first dino gets a temporary buff to all stats (except weight of course). This could also occur when a dino is near one dino that weight exponentially more than it (young adult allo and full grown rex). Another option for this would be if a dinosaur has low hp and is next to another dinosaur of equal or more mass than it.
The effect would make the screen slightly red or something of the sort as an indicator. The buff itself would be something like this: +15% of max hp; +25% to attack; +20% to speed. This does not have to be the actual buff, just something in the ballpark.
Weekly of 2 weekly server wipe please. People that have multiple alt accounts and swap to revenge kill are ruining the fun of this game
I herd something about being able to go to different Islands. What if. If the devs cant do seasons on one island they could do different seasons on different Islands. And I know this mite not make since atm but this is just a suggestion lol. Like you could say its the climate change in that area. Or if you are on a winter island there could be a leak of nitrogen and a bunch of different gases into the air and water causing that Island to be cold and maybe a bit foggy. And the animals and plants that live on that Island would have to adapt causing them to behave unlike any other animal. And for the other Islands there could be something elts happening natural, or unnatural. Again this is just a suggestion, or an idea ^^

i know in the past it's been said that something like this could be 'abused by people' but please maybe try to find some type of way to let people spawn close together or at least make it so i dont have to run for an hour in one direction to reach a friend i want to play with. ): it's really disheartening and i enjoy playing this game with friends, but the inability to 1. tell how far away you both are and 2. the inability to have any control whatsoever over spawn makes playing this game intentionally with people less so difficult and moreso frustrating and time consuming with the sheer size of the maps. i get nesting exists but often times we just both want to start as juvies đ˘
having an indication of how far away your group members are would be a huge benefit without letting people pick their spawn, im not asking to let people pinpoint a spot and drop their dino from the heavens into a super specific spot, just the ability to maybe pick a general landmark, or a part of the map? (northeast? anything)
brachiosaurus and diplodocus would be great additions for the dino roster
Saltasaurus and Bajadasaurus or Amargasaurus would be wonderful, unique additions to the sauropod roster. Saltasaurus is a must-have for the ultimate dinosaur game. It's a classic representative of the titanosaurs (excluding mega-titanosaurs like Puertasaurus), and once armor mechanics are added, it could have an interesting niche as a smaller, but armored sauropod. Its bony knobs and osteoderms would make it a bit more difficult for bleeders like Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus to kill, perhaps even with a chance to break some of their teeth. Bajadasaurus (or Amargasaurus, maybe an alternate skin of the former or vice versa) could have a unique ability to use the spines on its neck to attack with, causing bleed. However, it is debatable whether this ability is realistic or not. Some say that the spines on the necks of these sauropods are too thin to be used as weapons, and only for display. Some, like me, say that they're too sharp just to be used as display, and were used either as offensive weapons or to deter predators from the neck. Anyway, even if the offensive capability of the spines are not realistic, a special hitbox should be added in the neck that makes predators take damage when they bite it, like a sauropod porcupine.
More flyers should be added besides Quetzalcoatlus and Pteranodon. Tapejara, Rhamphorhynchus, Ornithocheirus and maybe Dimorphodon and/or Anurognathus should be added, all with different niches and game mechanics. All pterosaurs should be able to carry animals up to a certain weight. Quetzalcoatlus could be a giant, being the best on the ground and being able to one-shot smaller dinosaurs, like planned. Pterandon should be like a pelican, skimming the surface of the water to catch fish once they are added. Tapejara would be an oddball, like a frigatebird, able to steal pterosaurs' catches in mid-air. Ornithocheirus would be the second-largest, next to Quetz, but with a powerful bite and bleed, enabling it to harass and even kill bigger prey from the air. The Rhamphorhynchus could skim for fish like Pteranodon, but it would be able to cling to the sides of cliffs and trees. Dimorphodon and/or Anurognathus are not quite necessary, but would be nice to have. Dimorphodon could just be an alternate skin for Rhamphorhynchus because it is a classic, or it could have a separate, now undetermined ability. Anurognathus could be the smallest flyer in-game, the only exception to the carrying ability of pterosaurs. It would get its main food source from landing on the backs of dinosaurs and eating parasites off of them, if that is added. Pterosaurs could be part of the ecosystem by being scavengers as well as hunters and fishers. Perhaps juvenile pterosaurs could have limits on how high they can fly, along with height limits for other smaller pterosaurs.
Sound for carcass flies is quite loud, please lower a bit
can there be a bite sound after we bite another dino so we know it landed? sometimes when it's dark and it's hard to see the blood splatter, it can be difficult to tell if a bite landed
Pack limits to other meduim preds since allo for example since they can feed up to 25 allos off of ai and get them to adult without a majority starving and if you dont believe i have screenies
make it so if an apex rests for more than 30 mins he would have a mild diarrhea, and then other players would be able to track his smell and kill him for afk growing.

Can we please get more green variations? Not just greens for more dinosaurs, but more shades of green. Velociraptor green would be amazing. As it stands, camouflage doesn't work very well, but with velos, the only reason most people can find out where they are because of sound (unless they spawn way out into the open). Sometimes I miss them completely because their camo with the foliage is perfect. Velo greens on dilophosaurus at least should be considered.

damage reflection when biting certain areas of certain dinos which have spikes or heavy plating. you shouldn't bite the end of a stego's tail or the back of an anky and whatnot, it'll jab you right in the face or break a tooth! also biting the tail of a theri would probably result in just a mouth full of feathers but I suppose that wouldn't really be a mechanic
Buff Cerato bleed res and ambush (of which is practically nonexistant) I understand every dinosaur has a weakness and all that but Cerato right now just leaves a bad taste in my mouth what with all the Allos around, and again, like, the worst bleed res in the entire game. Iâm tired of people thinking shit/piss is the only viable method of tracking when most/all animals can identify each other based on their individual pheromones or scents. Would be interesting if each dino had an aura, and the aura glowed a different color depending on gender if itâs your species, or a default color when it isnât your species.

would it be possible to give a better feedback if your bite has hit the target or not? (vocal, physical or visible...) Well i know that after certain situations or bites you can be 100% sure that it hit the target, but i play this game for like 300hrs and still i have situations where i am simply not sure if it was a hit or not. Especially when you are an someone's tail, or quickly run through a dino with full speed, etc.
I have a suggestion. Perhaps you could allow hatchlings to see the nest icon until they are Juvis. So if they get lost in this big world, they can find their way home. đ
I have been thinking about the problem with smaller carnivores ass-riding bigger prey without problems. How about adding some sort of âshake-attackâ for bigger dinos ?
This is how I think it could work: First of all, only bigger dinos can use this ability ( Carnivores: Rex, Giga, Acro, Spino, maybe Sucho / Herbivores: Trice, Camara, Shant, Para ). When used, it pushes everything smaller than itself a few meters away. Additionaly a short debuff is applied to the push-victims which slows its running speed for 1 sec.
The cost for using this ability however are really high, about 25 to 33% of the TOTAL stamina.
The high stamina cost should prevent any sort of abuse (if there is any). This ability should only affect other dinos who are really close to the pusher. So while standing one meter next to a dino that can use this ability, nothing would happen if the big one uses the ability. However if the smaller one stands directly in the big dino, it will be affected by the shake-attack and be pushed away.
The shake attack works only on smaller and lighter dinos tho, so a Trike for example cant âshake offâ a Rex. It defintely would add some interesting situations.
Bigger dinos could actually use their size and weight while smaller dinos would have to band together to bring down larger prey instead of a few handful toe-nibblers who just have to get behind their prey and tickle it to death.
This might also be a solution for making Sauropods playable. Giving them a shake attack that also deals damage and increasing the debuff duration of the slow effect to 3 seconds. A Sauropod could so defend itself when its sides are being attacked.
I imagined the animation for this shake-attack to look sorta like a dog shaking when it comes out of the water. Just not that intense of course. Something like the Rex does here in this video, starting to shake at 0:45. For the shake attack just a bit more intense, more aggressive and standing safely on its feet đ

Change Bone-Break to Bone-Crack: Target looses all stamina.
Change nesting invite and group invite colors. People get confused and lose dinos if they dont read. Maybe orange and green??
Additional: show from which dino spezies the nest inviation comes from, to reduce hatchling suicide right after invitation.
keep the rex 3 call, give it a deeper and more powerful 1 call. The 1 call needs to be louder and sound more powerful so we can get a chad rex y'know

Give carnotaurus a faster START UP TIME when crouching for the certain time period ready to do its "ambush" for example take the dryosaurus, doesnt have an ambush and when crouching it can go at full speed instantly (ik it goes full speed anyway but just an example), ik carno should not go at full speed normally but when crouching for lets say 3 seconds it gets the ambush sign but it doesnt increase the carnos speed just allows it to go full speed almost instantly like any other creature with an ambush so carno should atleast get to go at full speed alot quicker just no ambush multiplier

To add on, I've got some admin command ideas...
Set permanent time: This basically makes the current time of day In-game permanent until undone via another command
Freeze: Freeze a given player in place
Disable BB: self-explanitory. Dissables the ability to break bones, regardless of fall height or how many times a rex bites you. Can be applied to all players, or just one.
Set Perm weather: Makes current weather in-game permanent, like the perm time command.
Inflict Bleed: Self explanitory. Can apply however much bleed is wanted.
Spawn: Spawns desired AI.
Hatch: Immediately completes incubation for a given player's nest.
Highlight: Highlights a player's username and pfp for all to see, unless given players disable it in their own settings. Can be set to last until given player dies, can be set to last for a given time, or permanently.
Votekick: Self explanitory. Can only be applied in DV testlevel, because people in other maps would go an entire play session without meeting given player.
Lower the fall height of carno and dilo to 3 meters.
Now, carno and dilo can jump of mountain (one thing like 8 or 9 meters height) and it's abused. They can run and don't care about to break him legs compared to allo, cerato and other dino (except utah) who they broke him legs easly.

Nerf dilo, its waay to OP, it can 1v1 a cera and carno, literally, with in 2 bites from a dilo as a carno, you get to 2nd screen if not 3rd, and still be on 2 bleed.
Just curious what people would think about a defense system for the theropods. As it stands right now, if someone has a better turn than you can get behind you, you are in a world of hurt and have almost no defense unless the make a mistake or juke them. I also noticed that there was a "combat mode" key binding for Humans ("V" for like selective fire). What if the dinos had a "combat mode" where they could switch between attack and defense. For attack it would be just like it is now, but defense would change the biting to like a tail swipe or rear kick to maybe damage or knock away someone eating your butt. At least enough to give you the opportunity to re-position. After all, herbies have attack and defense moves, theoretically carnies should be able to do similar stuff. Edit: I would also add this to dinos that current dont have rearward defense also, like the Shant. For example: Allosaurus "attack mode": Left click = bite (obviously) and right click = grapple, "defense mode": left click = tail swipe left, right click = tail swipe right (or reward kick or something). But i think having "modes" would allow for consolidation of controls. Edit#2: just wanted to note it wouldnt be a tail whip like the cama or pue, it would be more like a push to push the other player off your backside with more focus on a stun or time delay rather than damage.

A map but only during your life/as you discover it, along with the ability to sorta "bookmark" areas. Like other map systems it just starts out all black/hidden, and as you travel it makes a path/shows what you've been to. As I said, this does not continue through lives. This gives players a map and makes it far and as realistic as it could be to dino players. It's probably either this or nothing at all :P
It'd be neat if your dino's final weight depended on how well nourished it was in early life.
Rainforest greens on certain carnivores, kinda like how the dilo has it and/or make it so there's wide range of choice colours for each carnivore since I noticed certain ones like the Giga lack a more diverse range of muted colours.

Newly spawned juvies end up as default weight when grown, but dinos that are raised from eggs and don't drop below 80% hunger as hatchlings end up with a higher adult weight. Incentivizes reproduction and caring for young.
night vision transition: an option in settings, like reversing your axis for your mouse controls or turn icons on or off, night vision transition is exactly what it sounds like, player who have the option on will slowly have their eye's adjust to the darkness as night fall's, player who do have this option on can still click N to avert back to the other vision during any time of day!
PLEASE let us have the colors that're locked away with default/rex/giga/most other if not all carns (especially dilo) and just expand the carnivore color selection, it's so lacking right now and it really upsets me when A. I can't even choose my own default colors as a dilo and B. Again, these colors are all locked away. Juvenile carno can pick rex 1, adult can't..???

When a dinosaur is standing still and sniffs, the feet of most creatures slide into a different stance (Rex, Utah, and maybe more). Maybe make it to where the feet don't slide when sniffing?
Add the ability to walk backward a little bit. Of course. Also a couple SS of how far rex can bite- that's a bit inappropriate given his head doesn't reach that far. Adding to what @rose bloom said. Dilo can fall from the white line before breaking it's leg. About3 times it's height. Nice change from the 2 inches of falling it would do before hand, but that's a big fall. Carno can fall from the very top without breaking a leg, again about 3 times it's height.

re: AI fighting back
With the old AI system, trike and galli AI (don't remember if any of the other AI did it) only attacked you when you'd attacked them first, unlike the current velo AI that will literally zero in on you from a hundred feet away and run straight for you to attack. Ava AI could probably kill the smaller juvies in one hit and is fast and tanky (for a juvie), so if it was programmed like a velo AI that'd mean a whole lot of dead juvies.
Two different suggestions here;
- Ava AI don't attack back until they're attacked first, so they're not murder machines too big for most juvies to handle and too fast for some juvies to outrun.
- Have ava AI only start spawning in at the sub-adult stage, when we're at around...idk, 25% hunger. Ava AI are hard for most juvies to catch and kill, ava AI is LOUD which could draw bigger things over to the helpless juvies, and since ava AI give a good amount of food it would give us just enough to fill up enough to go hunting for bigger prey.
I suggest it makes us stop drinking water when we are full as with eating
Make the growth measurement feature more standardized or user friendly between the dinos. Its weird to play utah one day and start at 0.6/1.0 then jump on dilo or something else where they start at 0.85/1.0 but take longer to grow. It's also weird to go from 100% growth as a juvi then start at 60% as an adult. Can you not make it easier to understand by having Hatchling start at 0%, turn to Juvies at 25%, then sub adults at 50%, then adults at 75% ? For dinos without sub adult stages just do it every 33% instead. So if i get nested in by someone, I start at 0% growth. If I press esc, it'll show as 0.0/0.25. If I fresh spawn on the beach as a juvi I would start at 25% growth as a t-rex for example, or 33% as an utah. Which would be 0.25/0.50 or 0.33/0.66. etc etc
Burrow markers for burrowing creatures would be really nice. If I can't nest nearby it to place a marker (if I'm a male), then if I lose track of where I placed my burrow then it's lost forever and I can never burrow again since I can't find it to destroy it.
a way to test fall damage in the test level would be nice, it would also be cool to bring back the dinosaur line up
When nesting in children, they should have icons that their ur child and their gender too, the siblings should see the icons as well (Ik this was a thing but was removed) would be nice to have it back.

While voice chat doesn't seem to be that popular now, might be worth making several different channels in case later on people want to use this server to voice chat with their smaller individual herds!
A color picker within a limited range. An example being, say, body 3, you choose green. You're given a color picker for green but not every shade (too dark and too light), keeping the colors natural looking and not too ridiculous. Something like that, obviously no cursed pink dinosaurs walking around. Would require an overhaul of the customization system right now though, honestly sticking with the current concept and adding more patterns/colors (herb colors, dilo greens and rex greens from stream PLEASE) would be the best option.

I have a suggestion: Being able to gather materials to build your nest, like for flyers they would have to gather sticks, leaves, etc. And for dinos depending on the species, they would have to gather different materials such as mud, sticks, leaves, etc. Or dinos dont have to do anything at all, just the flyers.

@swift egret You made a point on how dinosaurs cannot make nests on inclines or tall rocks, but what about fly bois who make their nests on high cliffs out of dinos' reach? How will they nest? They certainly would not nest in the ground. Could fliers make their own special nests that can be placed on rocks, cliffs, and tree branches or have their own next mechanic?
When you've added local damage (special hitboxes for different parts of the body), please make the T. rex's damage be primarily based on breaking the bones. For example, a Rex would do a lot of damage to a Maiasaura because its bones are not too strong to crunch through, but a Rex would do very little damage to a Camarasaurus, Brachiosaurus, or Puertasaurus because they have bones that are too big to crunch. This would make it realistic as well as interesting.
When you add Mercenary Humans in, it would be funny to have Broadcast, Friendly, Threaten and Help calls, too. Broadcast could be something like "Helloooo!" or "I'm over here!" Friendly could be something like "Hey, how's it going?" or put your hands up and say "Hey it's OK." Threaten could be something like "Go to hell!," "Piss off!," or "I'm warning you." Help could be "HELP MEEE!!!" or "SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!"

It would be nice to have a Campaign mode eventually, when you are finished with the game. I have a feeling our rex model is a bit outdated in the midsection ever since Sue received a skeleton update complete with gastralia. Right now, it looks like our rexes do not even have room for gastralia and the model's midsection was based on just the ribs alone. Could Rex and its entire line receive new models based on Sue's skeleton?

Please have skin color selections save by default. You can decide if they should always save over save 1 or the last unused save slot. But it's incredibly irritating having to remember to go back and save the skins after each adjustment when you just want to get in the game quickly.
make gallimimus and the upcoming pterandon omnivores? omnivores can hunt bugs and frogs (which we can hear currently but not hunt) as well as eat off of bushes, and ptera would fish as well

This is not necessary at the moment, but it would be nice to have Sarcosuchus in the game at some point. I know Deinosuchus is on its way, but maybe in the future Sarco could be added, too? It's game mechanics could be different. For example, Sarcosuchus might not have been able to do a death roll in real life, so maybe Sarcosuchus in the Isle could drag prey into the water and then kill it? Or maybe Sarcosuchus could be slower on land than Deinosuchus, but faster in the water, or maybe Sarcosuchus could do more bleed? Or maybe Sarcosuchus could just be an alternate skin for Deino like Carcharodontosaurus will be for Giganotosaurus. Anyway, it would be really nice to have Sarcosuchus because it is a classic.
I was watching a bunch of Saurian videos and I noticed the little AI lizards that scurry around for dakotas to eat. I know it's probably already planned to some degree (or maybe not), but something like that would be really cool as tiny little snack AI other than just oro/ava/taco/acro/brachi or whatever else is coming. Speedy, not much food, but a good snacc for juvies maybe? Don't flame me on this lol
Could Beelzebufo be the cause of the frogs chirping near water sources? When I first started playing The Isle, I kept hearing frog croaks on one or the other side of my headset near ponds and I dashed after the noises, hoping for a snacc, but there was nothing there. Maybe this 10 pound boy can be a nice snacc.
Maybe we could also have some millipedes, small rodents, and other things for juvies to snack on? They would not provide much food, maybe 3-5% food a pop, but they could offer some sustenance.

Titanoboa should be playable in Survival. I know that you've said its lifestyle would be too boring to make it playable, but I disagree. Reduce paras growth time, 3 hrs for growing something that is weaker and slower than a rex,giga, and allo? And can get butt raped by a pack of utahs or dilos since the hitbox is garbage. Make it 2 hrs and 30 mins or something, growing something for that long really isnt worth when ur just a take away meal for every carnivore.

Buff Pachy bleed resist and bleed heal. It's literally built for fighting, it shouldn't just pop like a water balloon from any kind of bite. Its low health pool makes the issue even more terrible, so at least having resistance to being harrassed would make it more viable.

Echoing earlier sentiments of giving hatched dinos some kind of bonus, even only if in adulthood. IE making their final size bigger or something. Would be cool to incentivize more hatching and offset the misfortune of randomized gender and semirandom pelt and muhc longer growth time.
Change AI spawns to be location-based rather than player-based. Spawning areas should be divided between various "hunting grounds." The size of AIs that spawn (both predator and prey) should increase as you get further inland and away from ocean water. A corresponding increase of edible plant spawns should accompany these larger AIs to keep herbivore players from hugging the edge of the map. AIs should attempt to fill their hunger and thirst bars whenever they dip below 50%, but otherwise attempt to stay within their designated hunting grounds.
An occasional "rogue" AI of a large species should make a circuit around the map and wander outside their normal spawn zone just to shake things up. Rogue packs and herds could spawn even more rarely.
Lastly, AI and edible plants should get more common as you get away from drinkable water, to encourage more movement around the map. This will also act as a teaching mechanism to break people's habit of continuing to hug the water as adults (most adults can go an hour or more without drinking). Because most bigger dinosaurs should be away from water most of the time, this should theoretically leave just enough resources for juveniles to compete over while they wait out their growth.
Apex footsteps sound like bags of trash being slammed against the ground, they're extremely loud for the player and annoying to listen to after 10 minutes of walking. Elephants dont sound like they're stepping on bombs when they walk. Maybe make the footsteps a little quieter or rework them to sound more natural
Proposition for Acrocanthosaurus build if it were to be one day placed in survival as a playable midtier. His gist is that he's a slow (good trot, meh sprint, good crouch/ambush, probably decent stam), but has a particularly big healthpool. Remove his bleeder aspect/keep the bleed at like.. 10 or something. Good/average raw damage. Obviously, gets fucked if it 1v1's an apex, but a pack can probably take them on. Feel free to suggest changes in the proper channel or w/ reactions, I just want my high spined boy in.

I would love to see each Dino be given a final form. Either H, M, N or T type that would take longer to reach than the other stages but would also be MUCH MUCH more powerful than the previous stages. This would give people a reason to do whatever it takes to keep their Dinoâs alive long enough to grow to this level. A level that canât be achieved in Sandbox servers, only survival! Also this level unobtainable by using the tokens you get when you donate or even during events. No work no final stage! Just my opinion though.
Can the maneuverability of the Tyrannosaurs (both T. rex and Albertosaurus) be updated to something closer to the results indicated bythe paper: Snively, et al. (2019) "Lower rotational inertia and larger leg muscles indicate more rapid turns in tyrannosaurids than in other large theropods".

i believe adding some sort of additional animation before they leap would make players have to time their leap a little bit earlier, and would also make the dinosaurs that do jump, a little more lively. for now, a magical force sucks them into the air.

it would be cool if we have an option to enable a function that you are required to 2call each other inorder to join in a group in certain realism servers.
Server administrators need the ability to cross-species chat or local area announce so that they can communicate with players to solve issues with players who cannot communicate with their admin-dino species. Would make administrator lives much easier!
It'd be nice to see what species a nest invite is for, without having to blindly accept or reject requests.
When picking your dino's colors please use the 100% adult model instead of what we look like as babies..

A Dino or player filter for admins in spectate mode would be great as it would help admins on large servers find people easier

Can we fix the water display when you sniff? Sometimes the entire screen becomes blue if youâre close to water - when youâre that close you shouldnât have the aura effect, you should just be able to see the water itself highlighted. The aura effect (where you can see a blue shimmer far away) should be for water sources you canât see
please don't change suchos stats after fish get added in because at the moment sucho is pretty balanced.

Instead of the current F call, could we have it lower and not heard across an entire region for some dinos?
*Being able to talk to your offspring is something I think alot of ppl want without having to worry about a carnivore hearing if it isn't close enough.

Make dinos be able to go from sitting to crouch. When resting and a predator comes up out of nowhere, it's takes to long to stand up then run.
The horrifying atmosphere of The Isle would be even more horrifying with large carnivorous AI, such as Dilophosaurus or Acrocanthosaurus AI. It would give player more reason to feel unsafe, even as an adult - and possibly even pose a challenge for those hungry and willing to fight, like a starving rex.

^ Using this for reference. I just noticed after a convo in bug-discussion that the rules here do not explicitly list "dying in water" as a bannable offense. Only hiding in water to protect yourself. I know this is a common sense thing, but it definitely needs to be addressed for those who try using it as a loophole. For the suggestion on top of this: The rules need to be listed in a short, concice manner in the daily messgage of each official server. Then players who play on official but are not in the discord have a fair chance at understanding the rules.

I was wondering if it would be possible to use a system not unlike IK to have dinosaurs better line up with water/food during drinking/eating animations. Looks quite goofy when an allosaurus for example drinks by completely submerging it's head into the water.
cerato buff suggestion
in the game cerato is viewed as a scavenger midtier that hides in the shadows of bigger predators but in the game he doesn't feel that much like a scavenger hell it i think he was way more of a scavenger when he had his 40mins hunger that got him moving for food constantly and he isn't really that tough now when he gets more than 1 bleed on himself which is sad because cerato used to have this insane high bleed resistance which was a unique characteristic that could fit current cerato. also for being a "scavenger" he got nothing to show for it.
Here are the suggestions
1.give cerato his old cerato-rex bleed resistance so it cant be hunted/corpse contested by dilos,carnos or utahs cerato should be the honeybadger of the isle, well more of a wolverine but whatever.atm a carno can just hit and run cerato and keep it bleeding easy since cera can not catch up to it and deals puny 8 bleed
- make it so cerato can smell gores at the same range herbis can view bushes to make it have a scavenging advantage against other carnivores.
3.this is a personal preference but old hunger kept me moving and searching for food and i liked that playstyle so much because i felt euphoria and satisfied when i found food or prey.
If you are afk in selection menu between 5 and 10 minutes, you get disconnected.
It's just horrible to have 20 guy afk during 30 minutes or many hours to have a place on official's server...
If cannibals are going the direction I think where they use clicking sounds as a sonic hearing type of visual a really awesome concept is they can only see things if theyre making noise. Almost like from the movie daredevil where he can see the womans face from raindrops hitting it and making sound to give him a full visual of what she looks like. So the cannibals can use rain to their advantage along with basic noises in the game.
A spawning AI command for admins, whether you're fucking with players on your server, scaring a rule breaker, feeding the random cerato juvie who just installed the game, or 1v1'ing the acro AI. Would be nice to have.

Change the bleed mechanic where you lose speed depending on the bleed like max bleed you will lose 2.0km but in 10bleed you will just lose .2 but if you heal it off you donât lose speed
Don't trick urself with the votes, devs. Being able to log off while bleeding is lame af. Theres ton of people that would just log off in the instant they get outplayed, or others just for the sake of denying food. A solution to that would be making the action to log off while bleed is on, to slay the player. Theres tons of other game that kills the player if they dc while in combat, and thats because is a real issue un mmog.

Louder, long range involuntary vocalizations when damage is taken. Can both be terrifying to surrounding players and serve as a better hit indicator for the attacker. Imagine hiding in a bush at night and hearing the distant screams of other players being mauled. This may also affect gameplay when thursty or starving, so maybe just code separate sounds for the different types of damage.
When recording is eventually re-added, to avoid it being abused on official, and able to be used again, it should lock to the player as they record, but the camera should be able to freely rotate. The name of a dino you look at should pop up in the recording as a toggleable option as well! This means players can use it on official, and not abuse it to locate dinosaurs to hunt that are far away.

Dynamic water/season system
It would be cool if there was a wet season, a dry season, and a moderate season. Right now, it would be moderate for example, and when wet, more water sources would fill up around the map. Then, during dry season, more would drain. This would cause the inhabitants to have to adapt constantly, would hit afk growing somewhat depending on the time you are growing, and depending on the season would make the world more dynamic between both food and water. Why? If there's water everywhere during a wet season, you're going to struggle for food as everything gets more spread out. During the dry season, you'll be dealing with the increased threat of combat with other animals to keep control over what precious few water sources remain. A rough estimate of how long a season lasts would be five in-game days and nights.
I just want to say i think the developers are doing a fantastic job with this game. Started playing 3 years ago and I've put more hours into it than any other game in my library, and still thoroughly enjoy it. I'm excited for this game's future development, and I appreciate all the hard work put into the project!

Sometime down the line it would be awesome to see a hypo-pachy, that could just be something similar to a Stygimoloch. They already kind of look like super pachys anyways with their horns!
It'd also be awesome to see hypo dinos become something you could pursue as a regular Dino, instead of just starting as a juvi hypo. Being able to work towards becoming one with your regular Dino, say by finding some secret, randomized areas of the map and completing some challenge like fighting Human or Dino ai or some sort of navigation puzzle would be really fun. They should also be very difficult to find as if those areas were too predictable to find it would likely be too overpowered. To be honest, any more progression you could gain after growing to make your Dino even more special would be a lot of fun, whether that be hypo DNA hunting or some sort of trait system where you could sort of customize your Dino with minor perks would make the isle all the more exciting and awesome

Give players more of an incentive to use their calls to be more gameplay required instead of just being an aesthetic. Also it might help with the whole ninja herds moving about without a sound cuz they're all in VC and carnivores either have to take wild guesses, know the server and their habits from the start, or be stuck playing catch-the-AI-simulator.
Broadcast/1 call - Biggest radius, if someone else of your own species(herbivore too?) broadcasts back you can see their name and location as if they were in your group for a limited time.
Friendly/2 call - Second smallest radius, if done while targeting a player in your group they become immune to your friendly fire for a limited time. Helpful if parents do it on their young to better protect them, or for pack/herd mates to assist but risky in battle since calling in close quarters always does leave you open(or just disable the effect while your target has entered combat and can only be used out of combat making players anticipate better, same for 3 call below). Also if done targeting a stranger it can send group invites maybe.
Aggressive/3 call - Medium radius, combat related but again with risk doing it up close leaving you open in a fight. Can give minor limited time buff like more damage or anything else helpful depending on the dino, lasting a few seconds.
Help/4 call - Second biggest radius, gain slight damage reduction or anything else defensive(not speed since players would just spam to catch their prey) for a limited time. Maybe similar to broadcast will display your location to other herbies or same species?
F call - Lowest radius, nothing too special but can make its radius even lower depending if you're talking in global, local, group the latter being the quietest.
Of course any of these could be tweaked and adjusted however need be to keep it balanced, even giving the effects a cooldown before you can benefit from them again.
Put some work into trike's trot cycle animation. Atm it looks too much like it needs to drop some kids off at the pool.
Wanna explain why Galli has a stupid jump? while Pachy can jump higher? give Galli a jump buff.

I also remember suggesting this but I don't think any of the devs saw it, make a server option wether herbivores can group with each other or not. (Ik it was a thing) The reason is to prevent herbs herding with each other, but some servers have rules and some are realism servers it would be nice to group with others herbs specially hadros with hadros and Ceratops with Ceratops.

Award for surviving longer as an individual dino.
Right now after growing to full adult you basically lost every other objective except surviving, and it tends to get boring and hideous.
If you could get rewarded for how long you lived/how many players you hunted by having a secondary colour alteration on that dinosaur and with a slight buff in states that is not overpowered would really spice things up. The Ideal enhancement would be something like buffing the strongest or weakest trait of that species slightly overtime, like 2-5% for every 20+hrs playing that dinosaur. Preparing people to actually challenge hypos with ordinary dinos or just matches the fact that with age comes refined fighting skills.
Ps. It doesnât have to be direct combat skills, maybe having less footprint while running or increase Q range could also be a decent enhancement
Make dinos be able to swim fast by holding down shift, which consumes more stamina. Or consumes it faster, and then normal swimming will consume slower
In the future, it would be cool if velo ai hunted in packs rather than one at a time. They would not only hunt for juvies and hatchlings, but they would also try to attack nests too. This would make it even more imperative for the females to stay near the nest in case there is a velo attack. Maybe a velo pack has a random chance of spawning near a nest that has food stored in it.
A growth mechanic, or good genes mechanic. After hearing about the theoretical "unlimited growth" of the deinosuchus, this idea has been tossed around my head for a while. We know dinosaurs varied in size despite being the same species, its why we have ranges for growths. Same as animals today. Why not add a constant growth mechanic for every dinosaur? When they reach adult, they continue to grow but at a monumentally slow pace. A tick every 4 hours or something. Many people, such as myself, have had dinosaurs since the last wipe. While having an allosaurus that old is fun, there is no reward for keeping it. Having a dinosaur continue to grow would be a great reward. I doubt any dino would get to the size they can fight and reliably win against a tier-up counterpart, but it wouldn't be a guaranteed loss. Even then, to get to that point, one would have to have a dinosaur for far, far longer than it would take to grow a full-size apex. A long-lived rex could fight, but still lose against a Hypo and such. Still, it would be nice to be rewarded for living for a long time.

I've heard rumors for the affinity system, and this isn't my rendition of what affinity would look like.
However, I believe mechanics like I've listed above in crude handwriting will support affinity, increase within-species variety, and give the developers more tools to work with when balancing current and future dinosaurs.
As I talk with more and more people who play The Isle, I've come to understand how much the people in this game love the immersive gameplay and this game's ability to create and balance it's own rendition of an ecosystem.
The mechanics above allow people to further-differentiate themselves, promotes experimentation with each species and their playstyles, as well as adds an increased sense of natural selection as a player pushes on to survive in The Isle.

Utah heal speed is too slow. The wiki's etc say 240 a minute sitting, which would imply a total of 5 minutes sitting to fully heal. But that simply isnt the case. it's currently around 30-40 minutes to fully heal. Which is a huge problem as a pack hunter. It means our entire group is constantly forced to stop and spend the entire day or night ingame sitting as we wait for a team mate to heal, which slows the pace of the game down terribly. Utahs cannot fight unless they are at 100% health. Of the dinos that dont out right 1 shot an utah (all apex, sub trex, dibble, sucho) the rest put you so close to critical health that you bleed out if you don't sit within a couple seconds. Which is fine I guess, but it means you cannot risk combat unless you are 100% healed, so you have to wait out that entire 30-40 minute heal timer. Its just too long. Please consider giving Utah a heal speed similar to Dilo. Dilo has about the same HP and the same sort of size/weight. It isnt a fun when your entire night is spent healing from every fight. We get about 5 minutes of combat, then 40 mins of healing, rinse repeat. Just buff it up to around Dilos level and it means we can spend more time playing the game instead of tabbed out under trees.

Make Pachy an ACTUAL bonebreaker, and anky too?
This can help tide the wait for the recode to be finished; perhaps do an injection every 3 weeks or so of a dino the devs choose? I enjoyed playing herra immensly and it added something to do to the game while waiting in between patches. Then, when the first patch hits after the recode, there can be a wipe.
Please note this is me being pre-emptive before the long haul kicks in and people start getting antsy! While obviously the non-survival dinos arent balanced, I believe injections would help give people something to do and help reduce some of the impatience that will occur a couple months into the recode. If a different dino is injected once every 3 weeks, you could go probably 4-6 months with interest still high.

I would like to see ankylosaurus get some love. I play in servers where non survival dinos can be played and i have never once seen a Anky player. It sounds like they have no bone break and terrible health pool. Its not like they need to have a insane buff but something to make them worthwhile to play would be nice.
Put Rex and Giga group limit down to 2 or 3 including subs. Done. You see less apexes, solo apex is now more viable. This would not be a change that requires effort. Right now raising an apex in a 5 group is incredibly easy, and that shit just branches off/reproduces over and over. Reducing it to 2, you can't grow as many or reproduce as many. And again, this makes solo more viable. Right now as a solo apex you have to be cautious and paranoid, and if you see a group you're kinda doomed tbh
Reduce the Rex/Giga packs to 2 adults...5 is just totally unbalanced, theres no counter to it they just dominate the servers without effort and solo Apex players struggle to even breath in a server filled with Apex packs.
Would also love an option in the server menu to favourite servers and be able to access that list for convenience.
Is there a way to make it so downed bodies don't despawn after having a bit taken out of them? Example a body's despawn rate restarts Everytime someone takes a bit out of it. My group killed a rex and we didn't even get to finish the body before it disappears. Would be helpful when having big packs.
maybe a herbivore who is faster than carnivores, cause it seems strange for a predator who strategically followed their prey for the right moment vs just running at something from 4 miles away and still catching up
The beach gulf tower spawn should be changed, I think. For a new player without a map, if you spawn there and move the wrong direction on the wrong Dino, you die before you find water more often than not. Gulf pond is the closest, and carnivores have started to camp and instant kill water-desparate juvies there.
Apex pack limits are ridiculous. Normally I'm not one to side on unofficial servers, but 2-3 max subs/adults is the best way to handle it. I'm tired of enormous cavalries of apexes storming herds to herd-wipe with no chance of survival except for the few gallis or dryos that can leave the area.
I was in a large herbi herd, a good one. This goddamn group of 8-10 gigas sent in their troops 4 at a time so they wouldn't get in trouble. When one died, another came in as backup. If one was severely injured, it retreated and another came in as backup. When my friends tried to ask for help, people sided with the apexes in the fact that "There was no way to prove they were all in one pack since they weren't all attacking at once".
I really think apex pack limits need to be lowered to 2-3. Please. Solo apexes are doomed unless they manage to hook up with another pack they just happen to bump into who also happens to be under the pack limit. It's horribly unbalanced.

make it so allosaurus can pin down smaller creatures and kill them by suffocation, a.k.a breaking the wind pipe like lions the victim could struggle to get out of allos pin. this could work on mais,ceratos and carnos. it would make combat and great ambushes fun and thrilling in my opinion

Hello Developers, great work on developing The Isle. One suggestion, could it be possible to optimize the game so grass, foliage and rocks are seen in the distance on low setting. I've notice that many players will change the view distance purposely to low giving them a huge advantage being able to see players who are completely hidden in a forest.
or to still have low view distance yet make it to where you see people as far as rocks and foliage
a respawn would be nice though, wait maybe a 90 seconds to get a different spawn as a juvie
@modest breach You can still have low view distance, but a better optimized one that doesn't give you X-ray vision. which allows players to see through a whole forest pinning down any player who you shouldn't be able to see.
Could there be some sort of system where trees and such could be moved/removed by large creatures such as the T-rex? The amount of times that the downfall of my dinos have been the odd hit-boxes of the surrounding forest is pretty saddening.

Limit the range at which you can invite people and at which they stay in the group (probably a decent enough distance to allow some scouting but not across themap levels of scouting). This will give nesting even more of an impact rather than people trying to get around it by killing themselves until they spawn by their group.
When humans are added, give them starting weapons and ammo like a combat knife and a low caliber pistol.

One thing I think would be nice would be the ability to use original dinosaur skins from the past, such as the original brown Dryosaurus, the gray Pachycephalosaurus with the red head and bright blue tail, or the red Dilophosaurus. Perhaps to prevent players from abusing the added colors, itâs kind of like a selectable unchangeable skin. IDK, I think it be cool to stomp around with some of the âold timerâ skins.
Add more skins it's really getting boring by using the same patterns it's been like a year I think and still no new skins, I really loved the old skins, Ik who they were made by and why they were removed, but still new skins would help a lot, and make it more exciting to play, more unique looking dinos, and not the same dinos with just diff colors. Add more diverse Ai and more in growth population wise because when servers get popular. Almost nothing spawns. The whole point I get is to go out and hunt people, problem with that is there is more bushes/herb food then the AI and players combined. It sucks that maps like v3 been so beautiful and massive hold barely anything đ¤đ
Not even take into account how some dinos like Utahs, dilos and fast tier carnivores have it really easy, with a Rex as exception. Everything else is just a shitier version of that Dinosaur but it's a different model. Cerato is solid not gonna lie, but things like giga, the sucho just don't fit
Due to apexes that basically already out do them, example Rex is top tier, even with the rate apexes starve it makes the gameplay for Dino's like giga that are barely faster. Really shit to play. Not to mention the limit giga pack can have is a bummer. Would be nice to explore giga's as pack hunters to take down camaras and pue/brachio.
Because right now people are playing Rex, because one reason or two. The honest players like rex, the rest just want it because hey let's play most op dino that doesn't require a brain đ
So my suggestion is remove Rex and Giga until they play out differently
And balanced, because after playing both apexes the Rex life is so easy, it's fast and speedy for a fatass. Giga is slow as fuck yet it appears thinner. What is that? I mean nice it got a Stam buff, maybe compensate it for some speed in Sprint form. Like carno give it maybe a longer time to wind up.
scars: depending on the type of injury and region on the body a unique injury will appear on said body part (ex. thera slashes your leg, you'll have large slashes on your leg, a giga bites your face, you'll have teeth marks on your head) if you survive the attack a scar will form instead of the injury disappearing for good!
Make V3 dark again
Idea towards hatcling dino. When you get invited nest there is 30% chance to get exotic color/colors. Those colors are only available for hatclings. Would make it more unique.
would be interesting to see some different AI rather than just dinos - snakes, lizards, frogs, etc for juvies and smaller carnies to prey on? Just a thought, although the food values wouldn't be as good so maybe not, but ya get my drift XD
Cactus plants for a possible barren/desert area that give water when eaten
I'd love to see stats slightly differentiate across a species depending on a player's playstyle. Things like slightly altering base weight, Stam Regen & speed, depending on how much your character moves versus stays sedentary and how often your character stays relatively full while it grows. It would be a neat way to replicate long term effects for your actions while growing. I assume that stats would no longer be affected once full growth is hit.
So if you are a pachy that doesn't get to a lot of food while growing, and does a lot of traveling until full growth, you may receive a slight speed buff but will reduce your weight marginally.
Or you could be a chubby one that doesn't move around because there's lots of food in an area. You might be more tanky against things your size but can't escape apexes as well.
Along with that, long term status effects that affect base stats slightly would be cool. So for example, every time you break a leg and heal, your dino receives a subtle speed debuff of .5-1% and has a greater chance of bb in the future.
Things like this alter long term playstyle and promote a sense of natural selection.

When males actually get a purpose in the game allow females to have a custom "decal" of their own.
Surviving vs Thriving vs Prime indicators would be cool. Surviving dinosaurs could have poor stats and dull skin/markings (like a âfired downâ crested gecko). Thriving dinos have normal skin and stats. And Prime dinosaurs have boosted stats, and have taller/longer crests and horns, or unlock hidden traits (a special color or marking). When affinity is added, this would make picking a nesting partner more interesting. Hatchlings born from one or more Prime parent have a chance at boosted stats, while hatchlings from Surviving parents could potential have a dip in stats. This makes nesting in more of a gamble vs starting out juvi by yourself. You could achieve Prime in different ways, like the suggestion above about altering your stats. Winning a certain number of fights, never letting yourself get to zero hunger/thirst, always being on the move, etc. You can lose Prime status by getting too badly damaged in fights, or for every strike against your health you get by starving/dehydrating.
I donât know all of the devsâ plans for humans, but when humans do come: Maybe a ranking system depending on tasks they may complete, how long theyâve survived, and maybe how many dinosaurs they have killed or defended against? The longer youâre alive and the more you do that is good for the humans/mercenaries, maybe the better weapons you can acquire and the better rank youâll be given?
So thereâs no âgrowthâ for humans, but more of a buildup in rank and ability to carry better weapons.
I'm sure this has been suggested: wildlife management drives mercenary involvement in capture and display fashion. When captured, player respawns. Too many of one species...mercenary activates in menu.
Pin the official servers to the top of the server search. I refreshed about 10 times last night trying to find US3 and got it maybe once.
How about a special official server dedicated to diversity? It would have limits on species populations. For example the server only has 3 t-rex slots. So there can only be 3 trex online at the same time. Same with trike and giga. (numbers pulled out my ass just for a random example, obviously would need to be tested first) Then for example 8 raptor slots, 5 dilo slots etc etc. When you join the server, certain dinos would be unavailable if their capacity is already reached, or you could even just randomly assign the player a dino when they join. This would essentially force a sustainable environment and we would possibly see a lot more of the unpopular dinos running around, especially herbis. I think it could be a fun gimmick, right now official servers are dominated by the same couple dinos, I only ever really see rex, utah and allo. Would love to have better diversity.
I think all Dinosaurs need a tail whip option. It doesn't need to be very strong but nothing is more annoying than grinding to be an adult and then a dilo or utah can camp on your tail and you can't turn to get back at them or out run them. Having the option to do even limited damage with your tail would at least force them to back off after a successful attack or move to the sides.
Ok, so in the future when hypos,neuros,tissos,humans,cannibals, etc are in game.. is there a possibility for separate servers for some players that donât want these things with them? For example, letâs say hypos are in game and someone doesnât want to be in the same server where hypos(or any other strain) are being played, could we have servers for JUST hypos, NO hypos, and some for both hypos and regular dinosaurs? This would go for humans, cannibals, etc. I have heard many people want to do that, and me as well

Ok, real big pet peeve of mine. Make it so it only registers the first time you hit âHâ to lay down or stand up. Hit it twice by accident and you end up dying.
As of right now, the local chat function operates for same species only. Could we change this to faction only chat? Ex: Have it work where only herbivores can chat amongst each other. Vice versa for carnivores of course. This would be beneficial for herbie/carni (mainly for herbie usage) players to find and hunt together. Or if anything we could add that faction chat only instead, if people actually use Local chat as intended.
Just a thought.. Could there be size options for each Dino? Like a lean and a robust. The lean dinos would be quicker and heal faster, and the robust size would be slower but give more damage.
Imo, the AI currently in the game only serve to handhold the game without really teaching players to effectively survive. The "ai" are glorified bushes, and players therefore grow to an adult carnivore without really learning the fundamentals on how to actually be successful. I personally feel the AI would be far more beneficial if they were... training wheels, of sorts, to help players learn skills they'll need to thrive. Due to the increase in difficulty of actually killing the AI to eat 'em, they'll also yield enough food to be worth it for a juvi + their bodies will last longer before decomposing.
So here's my idea of the AI:
Oro: Silent, very high detection range unless you are crouched and they will run away WELL before your close, speed buffed and agility buffed (not much) but enough to where they are trickier to hunt, and you hunt them, as a juvi, by tracking their footprints. This teaches you to do long-term hunts and be mindful of how obvious you are. Their stamina would be low so after they run they are vulnerable, and they would spawn near water / herb bushes, thus teaching players where are ideal places to hunt as well.
Taco: Quite vocal and found in small clusters, locating them would not be hard. However, they would - if they spot you, instantly make the very short trip - their AI wouldn't really roam away from a burrow that they'd dive into upon detecting anything. They will 100% detect you if you are not crouched, and even crouched up close they'll probably spot you. However, if you remain crouched over their burrow, they'll eventually emerge and you can then kill them before they get back in. Tacos would teach players patience in staking-out an area, as well as rewarding juvis for ambushing successfully.
Velo: Velociraptors would receive a buff to 250 weight mass, and a damage buff to 50 base. While this doesn't make them too dangerous, they're still quite a threat to young juveniles, and their spawns would increase in proximity to Gore piles, scavengers if you will. Being up against a pack of Velos would be quite dangerous for a juvi, probably a fatal mistake alerting them. And that's the key: Velos would have low detection ranges, however they would detect vocals from quite a ways off. If you are running around friend calling or broadcasting, you'll probably get yourself killed... and the AI would teach you that lesson, the hard way. This would make Velos a good way to teach players to be less noisy, and to avoid staying near a gore that may cause them to be in a precarious situation.
Ava: Avas would now fight back against juveniles, with a long range they'd detect you, but they'd run away first. If you get close, as a creature under 1000 weight mass, they would turn hostile, but only once 'cornered' (maybe 5m away) from the small carnivore. They would be very dangerous to most carnivore juveniles, and while they run first before they are likely to engage... it'll teach young carnivores that messing with a herbivore can have severe consequences. They'd run first, and fight when cornered. This will teach players to respect their prey and weight the risk / reward of encounters. Ava would also make less noise than current, to make them less easy a meal for adults.
Maybe not being able to attack/kill your babies? Cause if someone comes to attack you at your nest and you have babies, you end up killing your babies cause the dino was on top of you, and it would prevent people from random nesting to kill the babies
Add unique roles to the developers' tags so that we can all see who works on what for the game, but of course keep the "Developer" tag. I am sure we are all curious, because not everyone knows.

Universal Color Palette
Rather than trying to specifically determine which colorations each dinosaur should have available, I feel it would make much more sense if every color was, well, available to every dinosaur.
I feel this would both make the playerbase happier by making any dinosaur able to be absolutely fabulous with none being left out (such as Cera), while also making things just a lot easier for the devs. Spending the time curating which colors should / shouldn't be on a given dinosaur is a waste of time; people will still manage to make ugly skins, ones you couldn't possibly have predicted given the sheer number of combinations.
A low effort win-win that is also an easy thing to patch into a build. 
Also with this change, make all colors that dinosaurs have but cannot be 're-selected', such as Dilophosaurus' colors, available to the menu. It's a little dissapointing I cannot re-select Dilo's gorgeous greens from one part of it's body to another

Weekly prayer time: Greatly buff Pachy bleed resist and bleed heal. Out of all the small tiers, it should the best suited for all-out fighting. It can't run, and it doesn't have bleed or bone break, so it needs to at least be able to hold its ground to be viable against its main enemies. And it can't do that when even a herrera can harass it to death, with bleed alone.
Pachy could also use a small weight and hp buff to 1500 or so, but the bleed resist and heal is the top priority.
Bodies that you started to eat should be shown in scent, sometimes in dense forest fight you kill a dino or ai and have to keep fighting or hunting, and its hard to find and come back to that body again, or at least make them smell after some time.
Perhaps fast swimming for all animals would be cool. It wouldnt be too much faster and would cause lots anf lots of splashing noise. It would feel pretty unnatural to be crossing water as an herbie and not being able to swim faster in the face of danger like wildebeast herds and such do when crossing waters in africa. It would also deplete a lot of stamina
The recent skin system was great but something i'd like to see would be a revival of the older skins/patterns we saw for the dinosaurs in early progression and Sandbox.

Upon reading Why Watt's suggestion, it reminded me the thought i had about AIs a while ago.
Watt suggested that the AI now are great at providing food for players, young and all. But thats about it.
He suggested to make hunting AIs more challenging to booster the survival atmosphere that the game intened.
On top of that i would like to suggest that not only making them more dangerous but also spawn them in pods instead of indiviually.
Lets say for Velos, they could spawn in packs of 2-3. Making them actually a threat for hatchlings/juvis.
Or having a small herd of AVAs independent from normal spawns as a sort of special event thing, having them migrate from one end of the map to another, stopping for water and such.
This could also be used as an experiment for, if there will ever be, bigger and more dangerous AIs.
imagine a herd of AI Stegos roaming the isle, it would be a feasting party loaded with danger and thrill
Please do something with server finder its not working properly . And add a feature do add server to the favorites or something . Really sometimes its really frustrating when you cannot find your favorite server for 20 minutes , even that your friends are playing there.
If they ever think about addeing snow they should make it affect it depending on dinosaurs weight(layer it). Like taco and oro should stand on top, humans and dryos should go partially through it and other things like apex and mid tier creatures should sink in it.
This would be LONG in the future of the game, but it has been talked about before when your dinosaur gets possible "captured" by what we know as tribals.. If they use your dinosaur as a mount, or possibly if its a smaller dinosaur on a sort of harness to control your movement, that it would be done through possibly an indication the tribal players could use to tell you what direction to move or what to do, and if you don't do it your affinity would go down alot or straight up take damage if you don't obey the commands. With this I would imagine they would be able to attach you to a tree, or some sort of object in the game world when they want to be stationary and not have to have someone constantly controlling you. So it could be possible there could be some kind of quick time event (Say like in games like friday the 13th, or dead by daylight where you can escape a grasp or trap by pressing the button that pops up on screen.) that would have you struggle against your restraints that are keeping you to tied to say a tree, this in turn would make alot of noise to ensure you can't just do it when the tribals are still there or they would notice, only say if they walked away quickly to look at another area, also making you vulnerable to anything else that hears the noise. It could damage you, to also ensure that you can't do it when you are low health and weak since you wouldn't have the strength, and in turn make you a vulnerable for a short time when you get out of the restraints. And for sure when you are say holding the button it plays an animation of your dinosaur struggling out of it that could have a cool down so you can't just attempt it every time they are gone for a few minutes. Could be a good mechanic with alot of risk of anything finding out, and quiet the nice reward if you manage to break free, heal up and get out of there.

Carno needs better run turn rates ... Any adult smaller dino can easily dodge his attack or just hide in the forest where carno will absolutely useless . Currently niffing creates an aura around your dinosaur that illuminates food and water sources; however this aura does NOT move with your dinosaur, it remains in the area that you innitiated the sniff animation. Even a moderately fast dinosaur can exit their sniff aura before being able to sniff again and has to wait the extra minute or so in order to be able to tontinue picking up scents.
This is why as a carnivore during a hunt, footprint trails seemto just dissapear abruptly when they should still be there, then sniffing again will reveal the trail again as if it was there the whole time, but by now the prey item has had a lot of time to escape despite their trail being technically visible.
Make the "sniffing aura" move with the dinosaur instead of remaining in one static area.
BRING BACK OLD CARNO đ˘
Either turn down the ambient noise (insect noises, frog noises, etc) or give players away to turn it down without turning down the sound of footsteps, AI calls, etc. Right now lingering in certain locations for two long gives me a headache/earache it is so bad. I am also thinking about accessibility issues. My husband is deaf is hard of hearing in one ear and has auditory stimulus issues similar to what autistic people have and finds the game unplayable because the background noise is confusing and overwhelming in The Isle even though he can play other MMOs where being able to hear is important. While I understand the reasons for background noise please understand that the way people process noise from games is very different from the way people process RL noises and can cause problems for people with disabilities.
Any ETA on the needed trike buff? The only viable trike playstyle was hanging around 1-2 areas on the map with other trikes.
That doesn't work too well when the rexes figure out they can just camp these spots and kill trikes as they login. Not to mention trikes are the only apex that can be killed with 3 dilos due to slow alt turn and low healing. Since trikes are the slowest they need to be able to deal with apexes when outnumbered because in just about every fight they will be. (if they arent the attackers just back off)

Could you make something to prevent people from camping bushes for hours? Idk a pooping mechanic every 15-30 min. That smells horrible. Forcing both herbs and carnivor to move a bit and prevent mass afk player who block entry to those who wanna play for real?

Please add a first person cam which only works when you stand and not doing anything. This way bigger dinosaurs could actually see while watching the surrounding when bushes and trees are around. Like pressing one key and as soon as you move and do anyhting, you jump back to the normal cam. So it's just a "let me have a look what's actually in front of me"-cam while you can't do nothing but watching. I hope you can understand what I mean. Nothing about having arms on the view or anything like a real first person perspective. Just to have blank view of what is in front when you can't turn the camera the way you need in order to see stuff as a bigger dinosaur for example.
Suggestion: Rex speed nerf. The rex is the strongest carnivore in the game as of now having bone break with a high chance, high damage output and is very fast however while most of these are in line with the character the speed is not being able to catch the smaller tier creatures and stomping most other things even triceratops and giganotosaurus. While most people disagree on the opinion of say removing bb from rex many people know well that rex is too fast as it is completely out of line with its bulky and robust build it wouldn't make much sense for it to be that fast so it should be nerfed to some degree. Thank you for your attention.
Maybe more official server spaces, instead of adding more servers, just give them more space? Cause it's always hard when you wanna play with all your friends on a server but there's no room, and I'm sure that's for alot of people in servers and such?
Buff para speed, at the cost of nerfing the headbutt, which would not only make more sense, but also demote para players from running down small carnis and killing them for no good reason. Para should have defense and the option to make a get away, not an offense and the option to run.
I know y'all have a lot on your plate at the moment, and I am in no way expecting anything to be done about this in the near future, but this is just something that crossed my mind. I know when humans are eventually implemented into the game, there are going to be incentives for dinosaur players to frequent different structures, buildings, and settlements. Right now, the largest dino-accessible area fitting these criteria is Big Docks, or Shipyard, on the east side of V3. I understand that soon, interactions between humans and dinosaurs will be encouraged, whether they be friendly or.... not as friendly (personally, I can't wait for this!!). So I couldn't help but notice that aside from two unconventional water sources and a fair number of high hides for jumping creatures, there isn't really a reason to explore the Docks. I propose allowing dinosaurs to dig burrows within the walls of this area.
I realize that with the past couple of updates, Big Docks had been getting some attention (replacing the concrete floor with dirt and grass, getting rid of the static that distorts your screen when within a certain distance of the Docks), and I think this is a step in the right direction! Allowing players to see what's going on and adding to the overgrown, abandoned atmosphere are two choices I fully support! I believe the next big step would be allowing dinosaurs to dig burrows here, as the Docks could work as a "playground" of sorts for smaller creatures. Maybe (maybe) even allowing edible plants and AI to spawn inside the walls, thus encouraging even more high-risk high-reward behavior from dinosaurs! As the concrete floor has been replaced with more natural terrain, I figure it would make sense to allow burrowing creatures to make their dens here as well. (On a related note, I really enjoy seeing the juxtaposition of dinosaurs prowling around human settlements and structures, and can't wait to experience more of this in the future!)

Onto my main suggestion, adding Herrera to survival as low tier scavenger. Both herreras and ceratos should have long range scent detection on corpses similar to herbivores' bush scent, it would also be neat if herreras could steal food from nests. I'd also say it'd be cool if they could steal eggs for food too but that could easily be exploited as eggs require no work to create. Herreras are currently very squishy and not very powerful themselves, their speed is their highest tool of the trade, for zipping in and snatching babies, nest food or piggybacking off of a larger predator's kill.
Being scavengers I think it could also be neat if their bleed was replaced, or at least partially replaced with a sort of necrotic bite that would lower the defensive stats of dinos in the area that they are bitten (when locational damage is added) this effect could last for a while, say maybe a day, it wouldn't be a ticking damage but just a weakened area that will take extra damage when attacked again.
Making T.rex have the longer lasting scent. This would make sense because t rex had the biggest olfactory cavities of any animal to ever live.
On a similar vein as the person above me, Pachycephalosaurus had not only giant eyeballs and amazing vision, but also had an outstanding sense of smell compared to other dinosaurs at the time, and a big buff to it's night vision and sniff radius would make a lot more sense than it being the equivalent of a pug with cataracts and bronchitis. It's easier to see bushes than to just sniff them out, so for something that has such a fast hunger drain to not be able to reliably find food most of the time, well it's pretty sad
Ik this may be a instant reject idea, however I wanted to suggest a Mesohippus. Basically they're prehistoric horses. It can be a very after the game is done and such, but I'm sure alot of people would love this little horsey, they were about  4 feet long, 2 feet high and weighed around 75 pounds They ate berries, branches and leaves. It also had 3 toes which is pretty cool.
Like crocodiles, suchomimus should be able to go into a 'afk' or better call it 'hibernation state' where it does not loose hunger at all, but this must be on land to avoid mass water afk and should be only be able to be done by adult suchos, to prevent cheesy grow methods lol. Sucho should also be able to dive and stay underwater for 3-5 realtime minutes where they dont loose water and can stay camoflauged, again only adults can do this. And adding defecating and cough urinating would curb the bush AFK behaviour and have to make dinos to defecate or urinate, if they dont within 10-15 realtime minutes, their dinosaur could get an infection, sickness or diesease which can make them slower, mess up vision, decrease health regen, bleed regen, and leg-break recovery. ANOTHER final suggestion could be tripping. IF dinos like carno, rex, giga, trike etc, sprint in a forest or a place with rocks, they can trip and cause a minor bonebreak for 1-2 minutes, carno specially, if it attempts a sharp turn could trip and lose balance, making it fall, and having to be stationary because those tiny arms wont help getting up, for about 30sec-1min. This can cause players to live in realistic environments for dinosaurs and prove realisitc hunting methods in forests/plains mix biomes.
Allow for Dryosaurus to fill a ânocturnal herbivoreâ niche by buffing the radius and clarity of its night vision - especially due to the new burrowing mechanic having those tunnels get quite dark.
Buff Dryo's Galli's Para's bleed heal please, it takes forever to heal which is pretty annoying.
Allo juvie should be infinitely faster than a juvie giga.... what is this?

This recommendation or small series of recommendations has to do with the incoming fly dino, and these recommendations will hopefully make it more viable for survival as a scavenger/small game Hunter.
- Have all teir 1 and teir 2 Dino's as playable in survival.
Although the dryo is essentially a better mix of both Oro and taco, it should hopefully be easier for flyers to find and snatch food from above. Plus I think flyers will add an additional sense of imminent danger that makes small Dino's more fun to play.

Give fly Dino's the ability to spawn ai from the air (either as a substitute or complement to recommendation one).

Have a very large range for scent, and make it usable in both the air and on the ground. It's difficult enough to follow tracks since the aura doesn't move with your land dino, so an advantage also to being able to fly is to be able to pick tracks and corpses up from very far distances. It will make fly dino a better scavenger and Hunter.
- Make bodies that aren't Gore have a scent as well.
- Increase ai sound distances that only flyers can pick up while they are in the air. If this is possible, it gives the opportunity to swoop in and steal ai spawned in by land carnivores.
More paths down from various canyons need to be placed on the map. Currently I believe the canyons go for too long before you can pass them. In the night if you get on the wrong side you might have to spend 30 minutes just to get around them. I understand they're supposed to be barriers but at least give me one passable slope towards the middle.

Can your actual running speed be shown while growing? Like it's been done with weight. I've had countless people complain about being caught up and killed because they thought the speed shown was their actual speed while they were slower
In the testlevel, can we get a way to test fall damage, like a series of connected ramps? A line-up of all the foliage types would be great to, so people can admire all the lilâ details

This game has the potential to become one of the best dino game or just a another garbage game like ark . Right now the game is doing so well because it's so much fun to play, just because of it's survival, fun and thrill. I think it's good like this, just like this. Do not add humans or the hypos. These will change the whole balance of the game and it will not fun to play any dino. Adding humans will allow them to carry weapons which could distroy your 6 hour dino in a seconds. Different option to tame them and ride them, it will be a joke. Hypo will just out run and kill everything what's fun in that. So mabe make different game for that. just my thought. if humans are introduced make them start as a baby and grow to adult 8 hours to grow, and it will be balanced somewaht.

Revised my Acrocanthosaurus document due to recent balance changes which has made by previous Acro suggestion invalid, the mechanics from the previous iteration are mostly the same, albeit expanded upon in greater detail.
As there is probably going to be a long period of time where there is no updates, could we get biweekly updates on how recoding is going along with other mechanics? I donât know about anyone else but having knowledge that the recode is progressing or not would be huge. It could be very basic stuff like we finished this aspect of the recode today. We are looking to get this this and this completed. I think this would added a great amount of transparency.
These are my suggestions for anky once it is brought into survival
1 make it one shot anything in the game if it hits it in the head, ( except for other ankyâs ) which will be really hard to do as anky is low to the ground and other creatures hold their head up higher than ankyâs swing, so they would only get hit if they attacked poorly, also you can only play defensive as an anky, anky was designed to break bone and I think it could crack anythingâs skull with that tail
2 reduce the amount of bleed and damage anky takes from a bite, it is very armored and doing actual damage to it would be hard, almost impossible for many creatures
3 make anky one shot Utah, Carno, and dillo
there was something about sexual dimorphism among dinosaurs and whatnot and we all know para is a definite one...
so a suggestion: ptera crests? smaller crest - female / bigger crest - male?

I think I've come up with a very decent formula to decide how much a carnivore in growth worth in growth time based on its damage and mass.
For carnivores, how many tons they weigh will be equivalent to a base amount of how many hours they will take to grow to an adult. Taking the maximum amount of damage they deal and dividing that number by ten will add extra minutes.
For example: Utahraptor is one ton, so that's one hour. It has 200 damage, so that's 20 minutes. 80 minutes. 1:20 total growth time.
Keep going up, Dilo. Dilo is a maximum of 1.2 tons, and 1.2x60 is 72 minutes. 150 damage is an extra 15 minutes, so dilo will have a maximum of 87 minutes. 90 if you wanna make something equal. 1:30 total growth time.
Carno. Weighs 2.17 tons, so it comes out to 130 minutes and 12 seconds. Uh, let's stick with 130 minutes. Add 20 minutes from its 200 damage bite, and that's 150 minutes. 2:30 growth time, total.
Cerato. It weighs 2.25 tons. 2.25x60 is 135 minutes. Add another 35 minutes from its 350 damage and that's 170 minutes or 2 hours and 50 minutes total.
Allo: Weighs 2.8 tons, 2.8x60 is 168 minutes. Add 30 minutes for its 300 damage bite, and that's 198... 200 minutes. 3 hours and 20 minutes. That's VERY fair considering the speed buff, the good bleed, the damage, and the 1.3x ambush it has.
Suchomimus: Weighs 3.6 tons, 3.6x60 is 216 minutes. Add 35 minutes and that's 247 minutes... 250 minutes. 4 hours and ten minutes.
Giganotosaurus: Weighs 6.45 tons, 6.45x60 is 387 minutes. Add 70 minutes from 700 damage and that's 457 minutes... 460. 7 hours and 40 minutes.
Rex: Weighs 5.8 tons, 5.8x60 is 348 minutes. Add 120 minutes from its massive 1200 damage and that's 468 minutes...470. 7 hours and 50 minutes.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure nobody wants to grow a rex and a giga for 8 hours... But it was just an idea that I had to see how it would turn out. It seems the growth times for everything up to carno seems fair, Allo's may be a stretch, and everything past that seems intolerable... But for something that stacks 3 bleed in 2 bites or your money back or something that breaks legs 70% of the time for something its own weight and two-shots anything 2.9 tons and below, it's safe to say this growth timer scales pretty well in how much your dino is worth in time based on weight and growth alone.
Me and a friend agree, that some dinosaurs should have better adaptations to some things. For example: ceratosaurus seems as though it would be a night stalker like dilophosaurus, I feel like itâs night vision should be bumped a little more but keep dilophosaurus as top dog of the night. The way the ceratosauruses animations are, makes it seem as though it would be night adapted. Secondly: dilophosaurus seems like a night adapted creature that would live in a bog/swamp, and eat fish. Yes, this may not be accurate, but think about it. Dilophosaurus has a very long neck, and a snout with a small dent (hooklike almost, like spinosaurus.) If you were to examine itâs legs, theyâre also very long for running (or trudging through shallow water/mud.) Iâm not saying dilophosaurus was aquatic, but perhaps partially aquatic? Like, if it couldnât hunt, it would fish for food instead? The way the dilos snout is dented like the spinosaurus, makes it seem like it would catch fish or something. I dunno, just a thought.

Revised the Albertosaurus document, decided to give him a size-chart like Nova did for Acrocanthosaurus, revised some stats in response to the recent balanance changes for Allo and went into more detail about the main mechanic proposal.
Troodon would be a good dinosaur, as well as dimorphodon. Troodon would be a swift, packing, night adapted herrarasaurus with a venomous bite that drains the preys health and stamina quickly, and it would have very creepy animations. Dimorphodon would be a divebombing aerial baby-snatcher, a very annoying little bugger that probably lands ontop of sauropods and eats the bugs or dead skin off them (landing animations on them.)

Just found out sucho being fully submerged was removed. Imo its probably best to readd it. Suchos obviously have a hard time hunting on land, and now, not being submerged, allows players to see loch ness swimming up to them for a quick bite to eat. And if you dont submerge them, atleast make their swim faster than their sprint
With previous patch we can see juvi, sub fresh adult and fully grown adult weight that's really helpfull, But now can you make it so we can have the speed of each dino the same as the weight ? For example a fresh adult carno, the speed he has on the character settings is 52km/h. But no way he runs 52km/h when not fully grown.
Will there ever be oceanic servers ? The lag is painful for au and nz players.
As it stands currently the upper mid tiers (Allo, Sucho, and Carno) are made out to look like ants in comparison to the apexes. While yes, Apex creatures should have a definitive size advantage, it just makes the mid-tiers feel insignificant due to the massive size differential. Mid-tiers in their own right are massive creatures, they shouldnât be under exaggerated. After a small comparison with other members of the community, we decided upon sizes changes for certain creatures to better suit the large gap between mid tiers and apexes. (Note; Alberto and Acro are included as they are both in need of size adjustments themselves)
(Cerato, Dilo, and Utah are all left unchanged with these sizes changes, As are Giga and Rex)
Note: While I understand that size changes do impact animation and speed values, I am purely presenting these changes where the game is at a state where Animation scale with sizes accordingly, as to prevent the need in speed increases.

Gamemodes, where you can select your server's difficulty from easy, to medium, to hard. These gamemodes would extend growth time, with medium being current growths, easy being half the growth time, and hard being 50% longer, and maybe a mega-difficulty where growth time is doubled.

This would be for the very distant future, but i think prehistoric megafauna would be a good addition to the game (ie. smilodon, hyaenodon, mammoths, etc.)
A option to choose which region to look for (US,Uk,EU, etc)
Buff Anky's mass and give it bb for god's sake. (And add it in survival)
Speed up the trex and giga growth speed
I think, sucho need to be submerged again because now he just can't do an aquatic ambush and it's the principal weapons of suchomimus in the game.
He is slow and can't really caught anything because he is the slowest dinosaur carnivore, after the giga.
He need to have a chance to hunt and it's in water where he can.
And I think maybe boost his swimming speed because it's not too much for him or an acceleration who need more stam with the spint command.
And a resting animation in water like a crocodile.
I love soo much sucho and he can be more interesting than just be in a lake and never quit it.
And nerf it after when fish will comes.

Make it so ceratosaurus can smell gores at a higher distance than others because he is supposed to be a scavenger. and also i feel like cera should be given a stamina buff since he is going to not get his ambush fixed. like lions vs hyenas. like lions can catch the hyenas because their faster but the hyenas outstam the lions by miles.

I love the Isle and how beautiful it is. My suggestion would be a new biome in one of the maps. I love the forest landscape in the isle but a different biome would be cool. A dry open expanse with a few tree's and ponds. It would be a rocky area with some cliffs and new plants that only exist in this biome. It would exist in the east part of the The Isle V3 map or maybe just a whole new map. Some new dinosaurs that have evolved to live and thrive in this kind of environment like oviraptor and protoceratops would fit in well. They could go longer distances without water and would need less food to survive. Since they would be smaller in size, bigger dinosaurs like the rex and giga wouldn't hunt them since it would be hard and just not worth it. The oviraptors and protoceratops small size and agility would make it extremely difficult to hunt for anything bigger then an acro. There has been some teasing for a dinosuchus. I think it would be really cool to have only one waterhole for miles and the danger of a dinosuchus under the surface. Maybe the new pteranodon that's on the way could fly high in the sky hunting for small dinosaurs and already dead ones. This is my suggestion and it might be a little to ambitious but I wanted to put it out there anyway
how about something that measures how far you are from your packmates
lower the Grow Duration of Para it isnt worth growing something slower, and weak than a rex,giga and allo, its an easy target, and easy to capture. make it like 2.6 hrs or something like that, not bloody 3 hrs

I think to add more realism, they should put in territories. Because even though in game the rules would state that there are territories, you would never know if you were in someone elseâs territory or if someone is In yours. So I think that a map should be added and you could see where every playerâs marked territory is. The way that you would claim territories is by ether the âWolf wayâ by peeing, or doing a broadcast roar. When you would do one of these things you would start out with an assigned small Circular space and if you wanted more you would have to move out of your territory a bit and roar again. If there was neighboring territory, if you come and kill the player, you would get their territory. Or once you kill them you can diced if you do or do not want their land and not roar.

GROUP LIMITS Heres my thing about 5 apexes being able to group up, thats 5 8 ton massive carnivores that are able to help eachother. The number should be more like 2 with unlimited babies until they grow
any chance you can change the colour of the name tags because when your groups on a cliff you carnt see there names as the colour is light like the sky

Make the entire color pallet available for all dinos with the exception of "detail". Also, add some blue colors and bring back the rusty red for the main body.
Some ideas i think could make the stego and anky much more interesting in the future.
This is taking into account that their stats get fixed into fitting in survival and locational damage is already in game
Reduced growth time for herbis so it's easier to populate servers with herbs and doesn't make it a choir to grow into something that gets 1-2 hit by a rex or something else
Give us a way to hide the nest icon in the replay because when I take screenshoots sometimes it's kinda annoying to see it behind the dinos.
Make a global chat option for global for only your own species, and add it to the global all species and global disabled options. I like being able to find members of my own species sometimes but itâs tricky to find people unless you try to find them indirectly via discord.
Change the camera angle of the Acro so it's not positioned so low to the ground.
We should get different maps with different dinos. Maybe a snow map with smilodon, daedon, giant bears, ice age stuff basically and possibly a desert map with desert creatures. Also some of the maps could have the same creatures like say an allo could be in desert and v3. But like every Dino would be in DV.
Also what ratinho said, austros should be able to steal eggs. And herras too.
1 in 1 billion chance to be struck by lightning and if you do you have 90% to be killed and only 10% to become part of a secret strain...

Hide and seek gamemode, where you and everyone else on the server spawns as a fully grown mid tier of their choice and must hide from a given strain dinosaur (can be controlled by either devs as an event or a full-time gamemode and controlled by players).
Here are the mechanics for the game mode:
Hiders/Dinosaurs
â˘Crouching for too long (30s-45s) will make you visible when the strain uses its scent.
â˘The only way to eliminate your footprints is to crouch. Running, trotting, and walking will leave a solid trail that will last for 10-15 minutes.
â˘You spawn randomly on the map.
â˘You cannot use your ambush, you only have normal running.
â˘Your stamina lasts 2x as long as it would in survival
â˘You canât kill other players
â˘You do not lose thirst or hunger- Ever.
â˘You canât break bones. If you fall to your death, it will count as a kill for the seeking strain.
â˘Eating AI or bushes will mask your footsteps for a limited time.
â˘You will be immediately exposed by scent if you lay down for more than 5 seconds and will remain visible via scent for up to a minute afterwards.
â˘You canât use your scent, but your compass is always visible.

â˘While using scent, you can detect...
-Players who lay down
-Players who are eating
-Players who are bleeding
-Players who crouch for too long
â˘You can smell footprints and blood through obstacles, similar to how you can smell lakes and carcasses through obstacles.
TLDR: Hide and seek, everyone is a mid tier and must hide from a strain with infinite stam and the ability to easily detect careless players via scent.
Just an aesthetic suggestion: Whenever a dinosaur is done swimming, they quickly shake themselves when exiting the water?
Add a section on the Server Listings for "Favorite Server" for ease of access.
More mods to enforce official server rules

an option to make announcements transparent (maybe 50% transparency) and for them to be saved in the server log in case theyre missed. It can be annoying when an announcement completely blocks out the top of your screen during a fight or while tracking
Making cosmetic changes based on what the dino has done, for example if he has just feasted on a corpse he should get bloody, if he got messed up after a fight and healed back he should have scars etc etc. This would make the game more immersive and fun.
a colour option, maybe right next to the pattern variation option, to adjust how vibrant your colours are (dull, default, bright)
Maybe give Giga a special bleed ability - similar to how rex has bone break. Right now itâs hard for giga to fight a rex (possible, but very hard). For example, maybe a 10% chance of inflicting a serious wound that immediately drops health by 20% like bone break does? Using the idea that the giga hits some major artery or something đ I know it does some serious bleed already, but I think this would be cool.

Iâm relatively new to the game and my suggestions may have already been said before but:
-having a static HUD is great but would be even more awesome if you could see the percentages as well since some dinos may look full but actually be at 70%.
-Another thing that would be pretty awesome is that since herbivores have to pause and sniff, maybe increase the amount of time you see the food/water light up.
