Would there be an option to make bodies that fall into deep water teleport to the shoreline? Not realistic in anyway but neither is suiciding dinos
Add a death/kill log with locations only for admins to see. Hard to call out mix-packing , water exploiting (especially suicides), etc. when u r either running from the mix-packers and potentially die or the person suicides in the lake. I would hope this would reduce these problems as one could report the infraction against the rules and the admins would have a better chance of finding the person who did it.
so this may or may not be a bad idea, but how about disabling friendly fire for people in groups? idk how many times me and a friend have accidentally killed eachother
(a problem i realized is that groups could just swarm prey which is obviously very no bueno)

can we be able to drag are pray like take it away to your safe zone and eat it but for like bigger dinos can hold in there mouth but can not attack with food in mouth so they would have to drop food to attack

Add more herbivore bushes to both Thenyaw and V3 map please, more bushes > more herbivores > more carnivores > more players in general! Also carnivores have been getting alot of buffs recently so itll be nice to give herbi players this kind of high reward 
Do something with sounds because when something is on my back I can't hear it.. Add something like old HUD because now to see I'm on good way I need to stop and look again on cords. I hope you know what I mean.

It says Suchomimus has "excellent night vision", but in game it does not feel that way. Could it's night vision be extended beyond the range of normal dinosaurs? (Not to the level of Dilo, but somewhere in between)
Also, for Nocturnal type dinos, would it be possible to have day time over saturate their vision, so they can be handicapped during the day, but thrive at night? Or would that be too much of a handicap?
This game needs more playstyles, basically all of the dinos avaiable atm have the same way of playing it. Add the damn humans, we waited long enough, add deinosuchus, add flying dinos. One of the things that this game needs is more diversity and different playstyles.

Hey just wanted to say most everything right now is great but there is one huge problem. Hitboxes for attacks seem to come from the entire dino. As in I can be standing behind something biting and it still hits me. Perhaps take a look into that?
Buff the Triceratops!
As an apex herbivore, it should be able to take T-Rex 1v1 without much problems, unless cought by surprise form the back. It should acutally be the one herbivore any predator would rather avoid. Since the trice is so slow, it won't cause any balance problems, as almost anyone can just run away.
In real life, it was really well protected and buffed against any carnivores. It also could hit anything close to it's head, not just in front of it, but to the right and left, since real-life trice had a surprisingly flexible neck.

Trikes and other more aggressive herbivores should have a little more combat ability then the others, mostly because the trike and stego and other herbivores were known to stand up to carnivores if cornered or surprised
Suggestion: Make it so that night is as dark as it used to be so that night-vision and dinos who hunt at night like the dilo aren't useless. However, modify the night-visions of each dinosaur to be a bit different from each other, but of course dilo stays as the best. In general, Predators would have better night-vision. Additionally, Modify the time scale top be more like 45/15 or 40/20 (as an example it is based on one hour) with day being the longer of the two rather than the current long days and long nights.
Reason: Currently dilo has lost all reason to be played and characteristic with the brighter night change. With this, they regain their identity and be fun once more. However, with the new short night-scale they would only have a short window of opportunity to strike at prey with their night advantage. This is good for their playstyle as they get hungry slowly, thus they only really need to eat once a day (at night) to survive as it stands. Additionally, players would no longer have to be miserable for long periods of time (at night), but rather, they would only have to deal with it for a much shorter time and with much longer days.
how about not so realistic mating?
like the female dinos lay eggs, then the males sit on the eggs and "fertilize" them and the females sit again on the eggs to incubate them.
i know it kinda sounds dumb but its better than the current one imo,(in my opinion). perhaps it could be connected to the sparing/playfighting for dominance thingy in the future.

When sniffing,you should be able to smell what gender dinos of your species are (for example a male utah could have a blue smell coming from them,while female utahs get a pink one or somethin).
Dont make it a rule that the water dinosaur is not allowed to heal in the water where it lives. Its slow on land, going to water is its escape.

And I dont mean like look at a spot and be like "I wanna go there"
But in, maybe, the map can be split up by 4 quadrants, (north, south, east, west or something like that) and you get to select to spawn in one of those 4 quadrants. There would still be like a dozen spawns in each quadrant, and it'll be random as to where you're placed, but its still far better than being on the opposite end of the map.
Pachy should have a chance to bone break when using the stationary lmb attack, but it should only apply to carnivores at it's weight or less. I dont think a pachy should be breaking cerato or allo bones, but maybe Utah and Juvies?
Please be more specific with the updates, increased this and that but by how much?
As an adult rex who gets in a lot of fights for food and needs to sit down for a while, especially at 3 bleed, I find that food can decay rather quickly, even some small corpses turning into fetuses the second they fall on the ground. Considering full 3 bleed takes 10 minutes to heal off as an adult rex, that is quite a bit of food value lost, especially on a larger creature.
AI on official servers are particularly an issue. After about a minute or so, the AI corpse turns into ribs and is gone in the next 30 seconds. This is detrimental to smaller juveniles, like carno, and especially utah and dilo, who take quite a while to eat when they are starving, and end up eating only half of the corpse's food value because the corpse decays so darn quickly. I have seen juvie utahs starve because they could not keep themselves fed with AI decaying so fast.
Perhaps, could there be a 5-10 minute window, for a corpse to stay completely fresh, then decay, so everyone gets the full benefit of the corpse? Maybe the larger the corpse, the longer it stays 'fresh', per se.
bleed stack should have something done with it, specifically toned down a bit maybe/a nerf? like it doesn't make much sense to bite something thats 5 times your size and suddenly its bleeding an entire waterfall
dilo could have an ability to lower bleed resistance by x% each bite, i'm open for opinions/discussing this matter

Water dinos should have the ability to walk on ground under water and also get in ambush attack, this being said to level it out the 02 bar should deplete but very slowly making the water dino having to come out for air every now and then.

In #519931024956850187 you mentioned bringing us a server queue to get into official servers during high traffic hours. I feel like if you are actually going to do this, you need to implement an idle kick feature, as well, so that the queue will move faster than 1-person-every-2-hours. Those who are just letting the game run in the background will be encouraged to actually play or at least check, and players who WANT to play will have a better chance at it.
I suggest a kick happening after 15 minutes of no activity, excluding camera/mouse movement. If the player hasn't done more than sit in one spot for 15 minutes, let someone else in.

Megalania please, or Carbonemys cofrinii (Giant snapping turtle) they both would be soo cool to see. And megalania would add in a poision feature on top of bleeds, due to it basically being a super sized Komodo dragon. Megalania would also be super faster, as it was able to chase down its varrying prey so it could be a "I run up and bite you, and then run off to either make you chase me. OR swoop around and bite you again causing you to run and die due to bleeds/toxins."
I could see the snapping turtle being our honey badger, not as big but dangerous and tenacious waddling out of the water and being a pain in the arse to take down. Just some food for thought ~

- Increasing the speed of his crouch walk to fit more with the animation
- Currently the Sucho looks like he is sliding when crouch walking, besides the speed of the crouch is slower than a Taco's walk, this change is a must.
- Decreasing the running speed and increasing the trot/walk speed
- I think it would be more ideal and entice Suchos to stay near water like they should if their running speed is slower.
- Increasing the Ambush speed by 50% (Utah speed?) but slowing the lenght to only a 5 second burst
- To make it adapt to a more opportunistic playstyle like that of a crocodilian.
- Lowering the Night vision radius of Sucho by 20%
- It will neglect the use of the buffed ambush speed anywhere, Suchos will have to rely on sounds of drinking dinosaurs to engage. (Maybe let the Sucho charge up Ambush speed when swimming? making the Sucho known for being the lake predator, isn't that what he should be?)
*Increase the speed of Sucho swimming by 300%
- This one should be obvious, Sucho's current swim speed is nothing special, slower than a giga Trot i think, cant even swim from one end of the lake to the other without the prey item to be kilometers away from the lake. Make Sucho's swimming speed his Unique attribute, let him be the Carno of the lakes and Ponds
*Also if there was any way, to let the suchomimus walk deeper into the water before transitioning into the swimming animation, by atleast 30%, that would also make things better for our aquatic friend That he would create an extra element of surprise when a pray item approaches the lake.
*Add bushes and other plants sticking out of the water to not let the Suchomimus be so distinguishible

I honestly agree how juvie Utah needs a maximum speed buff as it approaches 1.0. Why not have its max speed be how fast a .6 adult Utah runs, which is .6(43.2 km/h) = 25.92 km/h or 720 cm/s.
Nerf gigas they are almost superior in everything vs a rex
Swimmers, such as the sucho, are severely easily detected. It would be more rational to have them seated fully under water, maybe only have the snout partially poking out. As for now, you are unable to stand deeper than your armpit level, causing most of the sucho to be revealed on the surface
Restart US 3 more often, when its up for more than 4 days, for a lot of people dinos start running backwards and stuff, and theres few things scarier than being a utah and having a pack of carno running at you backwards / sideways.

the giga needs to be nerfed in my opinion, its too fast, has too much stam, very strong and gives alot of bleed D: dont think me and some people will be playing till it is
Some quality of life suggestions:
1.) Make a nest invite and group invite significantly different.
2.) Allow group and local chat to continue after death so you can coordinate a group reinvite.
3.) Alert a player when invited to a group but it didn't work because they're already in one and who invited them so they can invite the other player to their group if they want want.
4.) Create a mouseover or icon on the player list screen to better alert players to what they are playing to make group inviting easier.
5.) Provide all available skin colors to all dinos regardless of carnivore or herbivore. Especially the blue and orange that Dilos start with but can't select.
6.) Add bonebreak icon along with counter and bleed counter to UI so players don't need to go to their character screen for this information.
7.) Display more stats on the character screen so we can better understand the various ingame mechanics (bleed resist, bleed application, run speed, ambush speed, etc).
Increase Trex hunger time by 15/30min to make his playstyle actually fun, considering you have to sneak and stay still for a lot of the situations. meanwhile your hunger goes down so fast that you just have to give up the prey and go for Ai instead...

Can apexes please eat the rib size between medium gore and titan gore? The gore diablos and not fully grown apex adults drop? It really stinks to be starving as a grown adult and you kill a .95 adult rex, only for it to leave ribs you cannot eat.
currently trex's cannot eat any small gore piles even though they can eat the bodies of small prey.
my suggestion is this,
allow trex's to be able to consume small gore piles as long as their hunger is under a certain %
example:
if hunger<50% can eat small gore piles(so hungry they could eat roadkill)
if hunger>50% can only eat bodies and very large gore piles(they only want the freshest of meats )
a side note a hunger mechanic could be that rotten food can be eaten but will give the dino a negative status(maybe they have sickness(lowers max stam until resolved?)) unless they have a scavengers diet.

slow carno is the same speed as galli but buff its turn radius
is it possible to have body collision and not go inside each other? first its stupid to run through other ppl and second its hard to tell if u have actually bitten someone(did i click it too early? was it too late after i passed through him?). maybe can even add a mechanic where when u charge and crash into someone u deal some dmg with ur body weight. or a push to the ground/stun
Both apexes are way too strong and crowd out diversity among the playable roster (giga more so than rex, but rex is still very good and will just replace giga if/when it gets nerfed). Playing a mid tier animal against current giga and rex feels extremely bad. Open up windows of opportunity among some slower mid tier dinosaurs or decrease the windows of opportunity for both apex carnivores)
Decrease the apex power budget in favor of faster grow time and more lenient hunger to solve this issue. Take away some power in terms of damage output or speed in favor of faster grow times and more lenient hunger in giga and rex so they aren’t as frustrating to play as in smaller stages or against as adults
There needs to be a double confirm when you accept a group/nest invite simply because it has erased many hours and adult dinosaurs and upset many players.
Please add a confirmation menu to nesting that requires a mouse click, it is way too easy to ruin hours of playtime!
Preferably with a big fat red text saying YES HELLO YOU WILL SPAWN AS A DIFFERENT SPECIES ARE YOU REALLY SURE YOU'RE GOING TO DO THIS
I lost my adult rex like that because i did not see. I was expecting a group invite but it was a nest and without reading i press f1 and it was all gone...
Make it an option to be open for random nest invite, tick a box in options or something. While box is ticked you're unable to get invited to a nest.

A way to scroll up in chat without resetting
Herbivore gameplay right now is pretty boring compared to carnivore, resulting in servers having mostly carnivores. My suggestion is spawning options for herbivores. What I mean is there should be 3 or 4 places on the map where herbis should be able to choose to spawn instead of the normal random spawning, allowing the forming of large herds. This could potentially make herbi players very OP, but when the fear system is implemented it should fix potential abuses of these features. Another way to do this would be to allow herbi players to see where on the map other herbi players are and choose to spawn to them. That way herds could still be formed but with a sense of random spawning.

Add a marker for your burrow so you don't... lose it.
Maybe give an option to build two burrows (that aren't too far away from each other) that connect to each other and let you exit the burrow out of either one.
Giga strength is ok where its at after this patch, i always like a stronger giga, now i think it needs a little more stam and slight crouch speed buff
maybe if we will get a health value on screen, so you should know better when you are close to death, allow using bite when resting, allow using smell when sneaking
maybe add also percentage value of food and water on the icons so you dont need to press insert every time you want to see your food and water

Buffing trikes with bleed resistance?? Wtf is bleed resistance gonna do during a fight, giga is still stronger than trike and rex can still face tank trike.

Suggestion balance between giga and Rex. Seems like Giga is always getting nurfed and Rex getting Buffed As a Giga fan i feel like the giga is being hated by the community because it's so much fun to play and its a competation what ever they play. Giga is no match for Rex and Rex is better in all aspect now. I am thinking to play Rex now even though i like giga because it is no match for It. As a juvi Rex has more speed compared to giga juvi no speed. Better speed and bite force when sub adult. When Adult Giga is no match for Rex In speed, bonebreak, biteforce. Even though it takes same time as Rex, only it's so hard to raise one of those. My suggestion is at least make giga Faster then Rex So It could run Away. Its a bummer for Giga player.
As a hatchling your nest should be marked so you dont lose it like a dum dum and die. Burrows should have a marker too.
I have seen only rex’s break legs I feel that most apex and maybe some sides Dino’s can break legs and the chance is greater the smaller the Dino

As a sucha you should make it if it stops moving in water while swimming it will still loose stamina but it can gain oxygen but when it moves it looses oxygen but when it stops agian it can gain oxygen
Make certain types of AI available, I run a Jurassic period survival server with sandbox injected dinosaurs and Ava Ai and Velo Ai ruin it the experience.

Make it so AI spawn in regard to how many players are nearby in a way that forces pack sizes. For example, if you want max pack size for T rex to be 2, AI only spawn enough to keep two rexs at 30% hunger or so, if they add a 3rd rex to their pack, they still just get enough food for two, so 3 rexs wont be sustainable. Same for all dinos, just have enough AI spawn near them to maintain a pre selected pack size
make it so ur last burrow dissapears when u place a new one. Instead of u needing to destroy the last one to place a new

I think Giga bite force nerf was not the solution, it's trott speed is insane and maybe make the giga bite animation during the same time as the Rex.
Real Giga problem is it is almost impossible toi escape this beast if it's only troting it feels like you have not Enough Counter

Please remove dying from fall damage, or at least dont make it that it happens easily, I lost my theri (survival) from falling 2 inches off the ground and died. Instead I should just be injured and have a broken leg. Make dying from fall damage less happening pls.

Maybe sleeping it makes your healing stamina bleed and broken bones heal up quicker but the animation takes some time to get out of and maybe you have a certain sleep time for the Dino so you can’t wake up (yet that could cause problems if you misclick so maybe a how long do you want to sleep thing shows up or would that be a bigger problem idk people can solve that with there controls)

I would really like to see more rich, environmental greens in the color selection. Pine greens, grass greens (like dryo), fern greens, tree greens, mossy/algae green..
I just want to be able to pick something from the environment and say 'I wanna be that mossy swamp green on my sucho's back."
More berry bushes to eat on V3
Remove Dilo it's not good at anything right now. Utah is MUCH better overall, and night is too bright for Dilo to be an effective night hunter. Sure, night is somewhat darker in forest, but Dilo is not a forest dino. It doesn't have a good enough turn radius to be agile enough amongst the trees. Also, Dilo is supposed to use hit and run to inflict its bleeding damage. How are we supposed to use this hunting tactic when we get stuck on every stone and trees in the forest? We simply can't. (And that's why Cerato is so good in forest btw. High direct damage and really good turn radius).
I have another suggestion Remove Rex Bone Break. And Decrease it's speed less then Giga. Or increase Giga speed so giga could out run it. So it would be balanced, giga will have better chance.
please bring back darkness for dillo to control Rex population and could add different night vision range for different dinos accordingly. For hunter at Night. Dillo is suffering too.

Separate smelling functions for carnivores into the two different buttons. Standing + smell for water, carcasses, and the compass. Moving + smell for tracks, carcasses, and the compass.
I often want to smell for tracks near large bodies of water but the whole surrounding area glowing blue is too glaring for my eyes, especially at night.
A simple suggestion:
Increase dilo's overall turn radius, to increase it's chance of escaping faster predators, without making it extremely fast, or bringing back the ugly, pitch black night.
With said buff, dilo would be able to outmaneuver animals like pachy, and carno.
i agree since that dilo is supposed to be a Forest dweller yet gets stuck in trees very easily. and cant jump over the rocks that plague the redwoods.give him a jump
Have your dino’s calls progressively get deeper as they grow—a fresh spawned juvie or freshly grown sub-adult would have a higher pitched voice.
Dilo jump when? Has better legs than Utah of a similar type but can't jump. 
Pachy shouldn't be able to two shot an adult utah...

the utah calls are very reminiscent of the jp velocis so much that i fear we might get sued for it. also newer players calling the utah a veloci and its kinda bugging me also new calls would be refreshing.

Please, add a HUD indicator for the burrow hole. It's hard to find it once you place it and since you can't have more than one, if you lose yours you're unable to destroy it and place another one.
A way to "upkeep" burrows to avoid collapses at time when you may be resting inside to "sleep" at night. Perhaps have a B bond key that allows you to "add dirt" like a nest which resets it almost?
Bring back pitch blackness, it means everyone would have to play with the same visibility, thus making gameplay less variable and allowing changes in night vision and other mechanics easier to change.
Night time is dumb now, how is it fun switching night vision on/off each time you look between a field/tree?
Something needs to be done to night brightness. Right now, you can easily spend most of the nighttime with disabled night vision, when you’re at the open plains. Dilo’s special ability is useless now, because sure, you may see better in dark forest, but when you come out of trees, most players could see you if they switch their night vision off.
Avaceratops AI should fight back against juvenile dinosaurs, reason being, juveniles as of right now, are really easy to play, because there is nothing to kill you. If avac fights back, then it would be a challenging hunt, making the juvenile stage more fun.
Or it would be grate if you could adjust the night’s brightness in server settings - so people could choose the server that suits them better.

The affinity system should impact what gameplay is like for certain dinosaurs. A massive Rex group would have a harder time hearing prey, would undergo “stress”, making their food and water drain at a slightly higher rate per dino present, and making vision distorted/limited in extreme cases.
After a day of test with all of the dinos i would suggest to remove the ability of the Camara to do trample damage to Giga Trike and Rex cause they are very big compare to the Camara and it's not very beautiful to see and there is a thing that trample damage and tail damage stack up together and make very big damage don't know if it's normal.
After all a Rex and Giga can solo a Camara but it's very hard it's get easy at 2 or 3.
Allos if they are 3 to 8 can take down one.

maybe put an icon to show where you burrowed? it's kinda hard to find one, especially in the forests
Swap the current Carnotaurus animations and possibly sounds as well for calls 3 and 4 with each other, to better represent the behaviour that they are trying to convey.
Suggestion: How to curb the insane amount of apex players.
Make it so that to choose an apex to spawn as you have to have just died as a FULL GROWN mid tier dino. That way every time an apex player dies as juvie, sub, or adult, they cant just try again. There should not be this many apexes
Or, be nested in as one. being nested in would prob be easier and would help thin the apex population/ dispersion.

Possibly wait till wipes to change skin based stuff. Me, and my other friends rex / giga and other smaller dinos have become super bad looking, and messes up stuff like camo as well, so a once camoed dinosaur now is super easy to spot.
Could we get some more “detail” colors? Maybe the Rex 1 color and purple or something
It would be very helpful if Dryos and Tacos could build nests inside the burrows, that way we can store food for young. And also an icon for the burrow would be very helpful in finding the burrow again! The burrowing mechanic looks amazing so far, though, so amazing job, devs! ❤
This is really just me being picky, but could you upsize the camara? They are supposed to be bigger than the carnis apexes. They wouldn't really need status changes or anything, just the size. Its initial size was perfect, actually
The hunger nerf for sucho was clearly not needed, right now it is the only sedentary dino so please let him have the hunger to camp its lake.
I know this is a stretch, but alt turn should be removed. It will not only add to realism (and miss me with that “game already isn’t realistic” BS), but the removal of alt turn will promote different gameplay methods and techniques for each dinosaur. Removal of alt turn would also promote Better balancing mechanics, and balance in general (such as the dilo turn dilemma and how it would effect larger dinos that couldn’t turn so fast, and multiple other gameplay situations).
While is true that many dinos depend on alt turn for defense, the removal of alt turn would mean that in order to defend themselves, different mechanics would be needed as a result.
TLDR; alt turn should be removed to promote different gameplay techniques, thus balance
Hunger is broken. Current meta: sit in corner of map with apex for 6.5 hours eating AI until full adult. I suggest that avaceratops can only spawn in central areas. I also suggest that food gained from small AI (oro and taco) for apexes be lowered or removed entirely but hunger drain also lowered to compensate. So basically apex dinos should slowly starve to death if they only eat small AI and should be forced to eat players or avaceratops in central areas.

Add a character selection menu where you can have multiple dinosaurs without having to kill your previous one ( if this is exploitable add a character swap timer, so players can't die in one dino , swap and go to the same place to revenge kill their killer )

Make it so nest building acts like burrow building where you need to hold b to build it, that way you cant be killed by a trex with his sneakers on (crouching) while stuck in the animation
I’d say shange the sucho’s 3 call a little? If an animal were in a fight and threatening something it wouldn’t completely expose its underside like how the sucho does when it stands up tall.

Enable nesting in burrows for Dryosaurus so Seto babies can hatch within the burrow. Also give utahs the ability to nest on rocks again so Utah babies can hatch in safer locations
Increase Rex and Giga hunger, with the latest patch its impossible to starve has an Apex...you can actually survive without hunting down other ppl which is making the Apex players life ez in comparison to other dinos. Not saying that the starvation levels should be like before because it was almost impossible to stop hunting with Rex or Giga but like this is just to boring and unchallenging to play with them.

I know the sauropod is not yet in survival, but since he's got alot of attention from the devs, im assuming he's coming in hot, so here are my suggestions for perhaps improving him?
*Left click attack/Stomp, Speed it up by 30%, make it drain around 10% stamina and make it do more damage (right now it doesn't kill an Adult Diablo, just an Allo barelly)
- Speed it up as i think it is too slow, it might as well not exist, 30% is fast enough to make predators think twice, but it's slow enough to not make Camara indestructable from the front aswell. Drain 10% stamina for the same reason, to not make it indestructable, and a bit more realistic.
*Right click Tail Swipe. Lower damage, make the Tail Swipe and Stomp meet somewhere in the middle in terms of damage
*Lower total stamina by 60% but increase stamina regen to 3% per second. when standing, 5 when resting.
- Right now it can run a marathon, it would feel better if the Dinosaur could have shorter bursts of speed as it is carrying big mass, but have them quite often.
*Increase Hunger and water drain by like 100%?
- I left my camara on a sandbox for over 30 minutes, when i came back he was around 70% hunger, This is a bit too long.
*When life stages come into play, i think personally that a suitable time to grow would be 4 hours.
- I can only imagine the difficulties with growing up as a camara, yet he's still a big boy, so 4 hours seems like a good medium.
*Fix Camara's Sprint Rubberbanding backwards.

i'd like it better if the body color settings were in consecutive order on the skin selection screen. you know how it's body 1, body 2, body 3, etc? body 3 is the back color, body 1 is the body color, and body 2 is the lower body color. it instead should be body 1 as the back color, body 2 as the body color, and body 3 as the lower body, or vice versa. it was confusing to me the first time the skin patch came out and ive gotten used to it since, but it would make more sense honestly

Suggestion for improving apex gameplay and balance and hunger balance. After reaching adult apex (rex and gigga) no longer cause AI to spawn around them. To compensate increase hunger time even more (maybe to 2-2.5 hours possibly with slight hunger amount increase too).
- This will mean apex gameplay is about finding other players and killing them or stealing their AI spawns. The way its supposed to be.
- This also mean that hearing AI alerts apex players that other carnivores are nearby.(you know its not yours)
- This will naturally balance apex groups. If too many apex in group they will starve.
- It will also balance the server. Too many apex on server and many will naturally starve. Developers can then tune the desired apex count on server by tuning the hunger time of the apex.
- Apex playstyle will become unique compared to medium carnivores. Not just a bigger medium.
Considering the Pachy's speed buff, now it puts Dilophosaurus in a rather poor place. I'd say at the very least, Dilo should warrant a sprinting turn radius buff (it's honestly strange how unagile it is for its size). I'd also say that buffing Dilo's base damage to about 150 should help deter Utahraptors from just attacking it and winning ez.. so that way a Utah can't just cheaply run down, body a Dilo and then just rest to shrug off the bleed.
I think you guys should make it a priority to implement a simple login queue system, its really annoying when you want to play but you have to keep tabbing in and hitting refresh for 15 mins. New players who want to continue their dino might give up after awhile and play another game.

I dunno why it was removed but now there's no way to show that people like a screenshot without having to go to #401470471750811669 and @ the person that posted it to tell them that you liked their screenshot, and that's just an unneeded hassle.

Suggestions: Have their evasion path less erratic. At some point, have them flee the area...or just have a much more pronounced straight line flee path.
Have the Ava occasionally fight back...at least vs juvies. Have it run first, but if it’s caught, have them thrash once or twice with its horns. Maybe square up afterwards, then attempt another escape. It has horns, even a little bleed is a threat to many juvies.
Make it more alert.
Make it migratory-ish. So even when it’s not fleeing, give it a more freedom to leave its spawn area.
Reduce the frequency of calls.
About Avaceratops AI fighting juvies and smaller carnivorss, perhaps, instead of them charging after carnivore juveniles on sight like velociraptors do, maybe they could stand their ground and 3 call once they see you, maybe keep track of you and turn around as you circle them, 3 calling occasionally. Then, if you get too close, they begin to attack you. After they reach a certain amount of health, maybe 3rd screen, they will 4 call and run away from any carnivore like oros and tacos do by default.
Burrows could use a marker like nests have. Either that or just let people make burrows as much as they want with the old one getting auto-destroyed. It's too tedious trying to remember where you left them, especially if you were trying to conceal the burrow.
Make it so burrows are not public to same dino specices, make it so you have to be in the same group in order to enter into someone elses burrow.

It would be a cool feature if Velos were able to invade a burrow in the future.
Giga should receive a speed buff (not rex ambush fast) and it would thus have a 50/50 chance when fighting a rex. Hitting and running, trotting away while rex can't regain stamina and rex isn't sitting down and trying to heal, provided that Giga doesn't get hit by BB. Speaking of which BB honestly just needs a rework as RNG is unfun to play against and play with. I'd be in favor of reworking it to work with local damage whenever that's implemented. Trike should receive a slight nerf whenever local damage comes out as well because we all know it's going to be a big goddamn threat (from the front at least) when that mechanic is in. TL;DR: Giga faster, (outrun rex) rework bonefuck, trike big nasty needs a slappy when local damage is in
A possible compromise between the previously pitch-black nights and the current can-see-fine-without-nightvision nights;
Bring back the old pitch-black shadows from Region 2
Out in the open you'd be able to see alright just by moonlight, with the current nighttime lighting, but in the pitch-black shadows of forests, canyons, and in the shadows under mountains you'd HAVE to use nightvision. Might work as a roadblock to gamma exploiters, at least in the pitch-black zones of the map, and in these places dilos would reign as top nocturnal predators again.

Juvie sucho is too slow as it trot across the land can easily be killed by others (on land), it's not fun being unable to escape danger, or even other juvies (or adults that just walks after you).
I know sucho are an aquatic dino but right now they are just too slow as a juvie on land.
Dryo Burrow needs to be customizable.

You should still be able to ALT Turn with a broken leg. I think some of the reasons that Bone Break is still a broken/OP mechanic is due to it eliminating an opponent's option to flee as well as restricting movement significantly, affecting the victim's ability to defend itself. This is why T-Rex can be considered quite the overpowering animal to face up against even for something of similar, if not identical, size such as a Giga. With bone break's restrictive ability, an animal cannot run away and is forced to turn in a similar manner as a car. This makes no sense because it's a bipedal animal not a 4 wheel machine and thus should be able to pivot, even with a broken leg.
For Rex, the ability to break something's leg allows it to have the advantage in both defense and offense. In an engagement a Rex can eliminate an opponent's option to flee and thus making it easier to face tank with it's strong bite. Bone break also gives Rex the ability to disengage, if a fight goes south, simply by breaking their opponent's leg and fleeing the scene. This is a luxury that Giga doesn't have. With a car-like turning system, it leaves an animal incredibly vulnerable to something attacking from behind. Dinos such as Utahs are especially notorious for getting behind a dino and munching on their ankles. Alt turn usually solves this issue, however, this solutions is not present when a dino has a broken leg. In a 1 vs 1 matchup between Giga and Rex, a single bite from a rex, having a 63.4% bone break chance, could easily decide the outcome of the fight in the Rex's favor. With a broken leg, Giga's backside would be incredibly vulnerable and since there is currently no tail whip mechanic to deter someone from tail biting, a Rex can get behind and the Giga would have nearly 0% chance to defend itself.
Having neither the option to flee nor defend yourself in a fight really ruins the experience for most people and leaves the notion that a certain dino is overpowered. With the ability to alt turn with a broken leg, a Giga would be able to at least defend itself and leave a Rex significantly injured even after the giga dies. Perhaps lowering a Rex's bone break chance from 70% to 50-60% would also help to make it less of a one sided fight and better balance the two. This would cause Rexes to be less offensive when encountering a Giga, and instead make them think whether the engagement is worth the risk?
Add ankylo and spino to survival. Ankylo should has bb so it can fight with rex and sucho will has 'natural enemy' in water. I know acro is not in survival but fix his camera balance him.
Increase fall distance for galli pls u break your leg SOO easy
Falling sounds become louder and deeper the closer your landing was to reaching your fall damage threshold.
About the latest patch I feel like:
- The burrows should be smaller in general
- Younger dryos should build burrows slower
- The burrow size should scale with the dryo
- The dryo should be able to see outside the burrow, but not vise-versa
- Maybe the mapping for destroying the burrow should be different
- Obviously a tag for a burrow
- For burrows to be able to connect to each other
I think that at 1, 2, 5, 6 should be reasonable and objective

Lower Gigas damage down to 600-650, Raise paras secondary damage up a little bit, right now its pointless to even swing, because it takes for ever and doesn't hit for much more than the head butt.
Suggestion for rex bone break rework. Bone break is 100% chance but only occurs when the target has <50% life (checked after the bite).
This allow for more dynamic fights when rex vs rex, rex vs giga, and rex vs trike but still allows rex to dominate medium or weakened large dinos with 1 bite. Also it removes the rng factor.
when a herbivore makes nest, make it so it spawns more herbivore bushes and not AI for carnivore, add smell when walking for herbi

Give trikes love for once ffs, all they got was nerfs and no buffs at all for over a year now.
Raise trikes damage to 400-450, so it can compete with other apexes. Lower rexes speed down to 28kmph, and its ambush to 33kmph. Lower gigas ambush to be slightly faster then para, so it would be similar to how it was before. Raise dibbles speed to be slightly faster than gigas run, so it can out run it slightly better.
Yeah since when Trikes stomp deals 800 damage from the 1100 it used to? I just found out about this and like, the Para dealing more damage with its ninja kicks seems kinda unrealistic. Give hervis some love, we're struggiling here (and instead you reduce gigas and rexes hunger, as if they are not hundreds of them per server already)
Please fix the cam shaking when walking, when I play my trike the camera SHAKES alot as if a peur is walking beside me! its distracting and extremely annoying. (even giga players are facing this problem)
Trike is in a bad spot - after 6+ hours of growing, you should be able to contend with your biggest threat, but currently both rex and giga can fuck up 1-2 trikes with little consequence. Trikes should be a very risky prey item, their horns could grow to be longer than a man. There's literally no point in growing a trike right now.

Shorten Pachy's growth timer to be closer to maia. Make carnos growth timer longer to be closer to allos. Increase suchos swim speed and trot speed to be slightly faster. And we need a new audio system! You cant hear footsteps until they are right behind you. and looking the opposite way causes the sound to almost go away

Consider adding Camarasaurus as a survival dinosaur. After some testing, it seems camara would be a good fit in survival as a viable food source for bleeders like giga. While even a pair of rexes has a hard time killing a camara, one giga can easily overpower a camara if played with patience, as even two drops of bleed is deadly to it if it doesnt sit down. Camara, if hunted with patience and teamwork, will reward bleeders with plenty of food while punish those who are messy since attempting any form of facetanking will result in their death. Adding camara can also introduce pouncing for allos, that relies on stam, as a mechanism to aid in inflicting more bleed damage to it and to promote teamwork.

This is for Sandbox servers where you cannot pull up the Character tab. It is a pain that when you are in a group, and either everyone else dies or logs off, you are still a part of a "group" when you are the only one left. So, in order to join another group, you have to relog, which can be time consuming as well as risk not getting back into the server if the server becomes full after you log. Could there be a way that once you are the only member of your pack or herd, you are automatically not a "group" anymore?
This has probably been suggested already but a way to group up with other herbivore species (specifically and only herbivores) would make forming herb packs much easier and allow for an effective way to communicate with one another.
Have it so when the skin palettes are altered for an update your creature's current skin isn't changed. This messes up individuals' skins and the only way to fix it is to grow a completely new creature. The players' current skin would be "locked" and not eligible for change until that creature meets its end. My dinosaur looks like a walking creme puff now. The camouflage it once possessed has been blown and now basically screams, "Here I am! Eat me!".
On a side note, imagine this happening to an Apex you grew. All those hours spent and your skin has been horrifically altered with no way of changing. That would be horrible.

Make the asian elephant skin the default for camara or add it as another pattern option. It was the better skin of the three. Overall more pattern options would be welcomed for all dinosaurs with the new skin system. Selecting the variation of pattern doesn't change much overall, complete new patterns would make some nice variety.
I'll second more skin pattern options. Perhaps giving us the choice between the new and old rex patterns for example. But the skin system also needs more colors for carnis overall. I feel the removal of a lot of the colors we used to have has really restricted our choices.
Would love to see an update to the apex/large dino stomp crunch sound. Right now it sounds very mechanical and can become grating over time, especially for trike.

Right now i feel like alot of people are playing certain dinos not because they want too but because theyre strong, (im sure you know what types im referring too if youre a player that plays alot). I feel a workaround to this would be to perhaps lower the growth timers on alot of the smaller/midteir dinos up to as much as 20-50%(depending on the dino of course) so that strangers and group of friends would have an easier time getting into action with eachother and also be more willing to do so. Besides the already existing reason for nesting (that you can avoid being tracked by humans) i feel that an additional growth spurt for being nested in as a hatchling by perhaps 5-15% would also help in making bigger/more fun groups of a variety of other smaller dinos, since youre not doing much but being idle would promote more fun gameplay. The faster growth timer for smaller/midtier dinos would also promote players to roam around alot more and thus promoting more fun and exciting moments and more pvp interactions in this big and beautiful isle v3 map. (I dont personally care about growth timers myself so this is only to promote more and bigger diversity and groups of different dinos in survival/official servers, also keep in mind it would be alot harder for apex's like rex's & gigas to survive and hide if you get groups of people roaming more on the majority of dinos that take less time to grow, as a result alot of that the rex + giga players that perhaps doesnt belong on those dinos would get weeded out).

I would suggest that u can maybe downsize the horns of the adult cerato, dont get me wrong i fucking love the model but in my opinion the horns are a little bit to big/huge =P

Bring back father or patriarch back to the nest and be able to select a male in your group to be that father of the eggs. Allow random coloration based on parents coloring. Bring back more dinosaur choices for herbivores and carnivores.
Today i had a great fight giga vs rex. Typical start both saw each other, rex started chasing. I started running away and ducked around a hill and moved back around managed to get exactly behind the rex as he moved past. Started biting rex, got 3 bites in and he managed to alt turn and bite once getting a bone break. The rex then ran in and out biting me each time and I bite him once each time.
I died and rex sat down. The point of this story is that rex should not be able to get bone breaks on the first bite against a giga (or other apex). Well I could have managed to get away without getting bitten at all to win the fight thats unlikely due to large hitboxes and alt turn. My suggestion: Bone breaks dont occur against dinos with full life or bone breaks require a portion of missing life before they occur (like <50% life left after bite, i have mentioned this suggestion before but wanted to share this story), they can then occur 100% of the time. While rex should be stronger than giga in a head on fight in this case the rex should have lost because he did not look sideways as he ran over the hill but it made no difference since he only needs to land 1 bite to win.

Make the nesting icon smaller so it doesnt block so much of the screen.
Things that can turn the nesting a lot more interesting:
1-Give the Babies a chance of getting special colors like orange, red, blue or lighter greens...
2-Slightly increase the juvis growth rate If they were nested.
3-Give a short speed boost to adults that are close to their baby/nest so they can have a small buff when nesting other people.
4-Create a new family tree hud with the name of the previous generations individuals and give the hatchling a chance of getting colors from a grandfather for example.
5-The First male that put the food in the nest become the patriarch and can also incubate the eggs.
6-Give the babies a chance of getting a mix of their parents colors, that would be fun.
I think the Carno 3 and 4 call animations should be swapped around, the 4 call animations looks more aggressive and when animals like birds get angry or want to seen intimidating they'll get their head low to the ground and puff up angrily growling to make themselves look bigger and more intimidating while hiding their belly, I think think swapping these animations around would make a lot more sense aggression wise and would benefit the 4 call by showing it's belly which a lot of animal do to show that they give up or surrender
I wish we had the option to select how full a server is that we're looking for. Sometimes clicking "hide empty" doesn't help because multiple servers come up with 1-5 players only in them. Maybe we could have 3 check boxes saying '10+' 20+' or '30+' players?
And maybe the option to hide servers from other countries, so you don't have to scroll through multiple servers that you can't join
Slight change to the way Rexes hunt.
Remove bonebreak from the main bite, and apply it to a charging heabutt attack instead. Think about it: T-Rex has this huge, incredibly heavy head supported by muscles as tough as reinforced concrete. This thing is begging to be used as a bludgeon.
For the time being, the Rex would just charge through, dealing some damage and inflicting bonebreak. In the future whenever the combat overhaul gets done, it could stun or stagger the target for a period of time based on relative weight.
Make the apex group limit 2 instead of 5 due to the new hunger buff.
Bring back darker skin tones for certain creatures or have it so every species could at least have some form of the same basic skin tones.
The skin system is great! However, currently, we seem to be lacking in the color department. I threw together a bunch of colors that I think could work with the skin customization, on most regions. (Yes, some of these are close to the ones we have currently. )
The excuse "Well we can't have this color because it might look bad" is pretty silly to me. Unless said color is far fetched and goofy looking, such as neons outside of detail regions.
You can always make an ugly skin with extremely limited colors or not. So I don't see the point for extreme limitations.

Playable Flyer suggestion: make gaining altitude drain stamina and only regain stamina while on the ground. They could still presumably glide around for long periods of time, so maybe also have them slowly and ambiently lose altitude over time.

Ban server rule breakers permanently from the server. That way you take out the trash to private servers or even out of the game. Carebearing, mixpacking and spawn campers ( all the same crap tbh ) take away the hardcore concept of the game.

I think austro being added is speak for himself, Low-tier aquatic playstyle possibly with fishing and even diving better than any other semi-aquatic dinos because of it's size.

Hi Guys i think you guys are doing a great job i have some suggestion. - Make Hunger, Stimana and Water bar visiable all the time on the screen like before but i could be very dim like a water mark so we dont have to keep on pressing insert to check our stat. -Make Night darker and give different increase range of night vision slightly to different dino.. If it rains, your burrow will flood and you will need to evacuate and make a new one when it stops raining. Cannot do so during rain because of muddy ground.
Make apex playable for those with 1000+ hours of gameplay
Love the new music soundtracks, but they just play so often for me now. It is as if there is about 1 minute of Grace time between a soundtrack playing, then another kicks off for the next 5 minutes, and the new soundtracks all seem "happy", so it somewhat lowers the immersion for me. Add some more sinister music to the mix, or try to get music to not play as often.
Ava AI should be able to defend itself against smaller predators and/or juvenile dinosaurs; also, Ava call should not be as obnoxiously loud or at least make it much more infrequent. Right now ava is very easy to find and hunt; allowing the Ava to defend itself and making its call less obnoxious/loud/frequent will add more of a challenge to hunt this animal as a predator., especially given the amount of food it supplies once it's dead.
Would be pretty cool, if you could hide the names in your group, but not completely. Maybe that befriended players have a small green dot above them. So you can still see where they are but it is gives more immersion to your gameplay

Reduce the AI spawn rate, all servers seem to have triple or even cuadruple AI spawns now (prob 'cause you added the new AI, and each one has an individual spawn rate instead of all of them sharing one), which makes it WAY easier for bigger preds to stay hidden until they reach adulthood. Please fix this, as the absurd ammount of large carvs were already turning me away from this game before this pach, and I really love this game :c
Increase dilos speed and please reduce its running turn radius
In the character coloring screen, perhaps different environments in the background (beach, forest, lakeside, etc) to show what a skin might look like in environments. Some skins might look super good when making them, but the environment ruins them/doesn’t look nice in game due to environments.

This has probably been asked before by others, and I don't think that it will ever happen, but I would love to see the Camarasaurus in Survival mode.
My opinion: Revert the night darkness change. It SHOULD be pich black and dangerous. Current state causes dilo to lose its pro, and people abuse it with gamma.
Secondly: Apexes ruin the game for non-apex dino's. They are everywhere and you can't do shit against them unless you are one yourself. In the current state, the game without Apexes is better...

Night time should be pitch black as it used to be. Right now, dilos cannot do that much during the night, except for only 1-2 hours where it really is dark and you need to use nightvision. Furthermore, with night being pitch black, gamma exploitation will finally stop. Finally, it adds a TON to the horror aspect of the game. Make apexes an actual challenge. At the moment there's no real downside to picking them. Apexes also still plague the map like rodents, it's either a lame player limit or just make them challenging. (more hunger/thirst loss as juvie/subadult?)

maybe a way to keep from having melanistic or albino dinos without taking out colors completely or removing them from certain parts of a pattern is to limit each color to only be used once or twice on the whole dino, so say your belly color and spine color is black, black would then be grayed out/ disabled for the 2 other patterns. This would enable people to use more variety of colors and variations of patterns without allowing completely solid or obnoxiously colored dinos
As a way to combat overpopulation of apexes on a server, maybe increase the growth time by a margin, or make apexes loose hunger and thirst faster, making the choice of roaming too far from water very risky, and making other non-adult apexes more at risk to being eaten by adults of their own kind
Drastically decrease the amount of hunger time for Juvie and Sub (GIGA/REX). This way its going to be actually hard to stay alive since u have to go to the water source and find ai more often than now. Also this would decrease the amount of afk taking place in the bushes... And Sucho could potentially catch something when juvie/sub gets near water...
Give dilo the old bleed system back as it’s special venom mechanic, poor bastard has been in a rough state balance wise since the bleed changes and he doesn’t have nearly as large of a playerbase as he used to, with many animals both faster and stronger than he is.
Make damage marks stay as scars once they are healed, so if we survived a near death experience we can show it off :P It would be cool and the markings already exist, wouldn't take much to turn them from red to greyish after healing C:
Can you increase the size of the Ceratos turning circle? Most servers don’t have alt-turn enabled so that gives the Cerato’s alt-turn like turning circle overpowered compared to other dinosaurs. There has been several reports that Allosauruses, Sub-Rexes and even Sucho’s dying to the Ceratosaurus.
So how about
an option to have multiple chat windows?
It would be great as sometimes you have to juggle between group and global and it's impossible to reliably keep tabs on both. At least having the option to display both at once would be absolutely rad.
But also
server options could allow "local" to function between all species. Sucks when you can't reliably communicate with someone next to you just because there's 150 people screaming at once in global.

being able to PM an individual player would be nice.
Number of eggs to gestate at any time - dependent on the dinos size/tier, for example, Gali could lay more than 4, but a Rex could only lay 1(or? 2?) egg at a time.
So as we know, there's nothing really big or new not gonna happen until recoding the game. We understand that and if this makes the game that much better, it's top priority. What about making new patterns for dinosaurs and being able to choose beetwen them? (Just like how rex got a new one). I'm not a developer or artist but i think in that 2 month you guys would be able to do some new patterns to almost every survival dinosaur. Would be neat.

I think that lowering the growth times just a bit for herbis across the board (with the exception of dryo) would help improve the disproportionate ratio of carnis to herbis. For every one herbivore I find, I see 3 or 4 carnis.

Make your own footstep appear as green in scent mode. I know you should know it's your footsteps but since it's staying there for 4 minutes (?) now. It's can be confusing and you can lose time while tracking a prey.
I think pretty much everyone will agree with me in my next suggestion > either remove the hunger buff for giga and rex adult or remove the new AI. With both added the giga and rex adults can have a 5 pack for a very long times without to worry too much about the need of food. Imo would be better to rollback to the previous hunger values since there is the new AI in game, this way the new AI would be more contested and more interesting to play, different aproach from the adults but also from other carnivores. With both new AI and new hunger buff the gameplay for adult apex like giga and rex got pretty slow.

It's been suggested before but it bears repeating: Bring back the pitch black shadows from the Region 2 map, and keep areas in direct moonlight decently bright. This is the best compromise between being able to see at night and being forced to use night vision in the dark.
I'd love to at least be able to pull up the compass while sniffing in the rain. I understand not being able to see food and footprints, but what about some help with directions? These tiny AI should serve solely to feed juveniles & lone small carnivores. Any Adult Mid-tier/Apex Predator should not be able to live off small AI.
Mid-tier Predators should be forced to sustain themselves via Ava AI at best, while the Apex Predators can stave off starvation from Avas, but will ultimately have to hunt a player to guarantee their survival.
This will help with the common mega packs of Gigas/Rexes and make playing carnivore much more challenging. (It's too easy atm)
AFFINITY SYSTEM!
Maybe some controversial but don't add humans, canibals and other shit. In my opinion game with only dinos will be better. They will spoil climate. Make this game only with dinos because this is one of the best game about dinos and stay with that.
AI at the moment seem to sustain a lot of carnivores, giving them slightly less incentive to go kill herbivore players. Here's a thought on how to get players to kill players, every time you do depending on what you kill and as what you gain a buff to your dino. Some get more damage, more stam, or more speed ect. Makes you a better fighter, or escape artist. Maybe make the effects stack, of course balanced enough not to make it game breaking.
Delay dusk by 2-3 hours. Atm the sun is setting by 4pm in game which is way too early unless the maps are supposed to be near the arctic circle or something.

I've seen many herbivore herds just sitting around in one place for hours, most players being afk and moving every 20 minutes to fill up their food/water. To make herds migrate more, bushes need to spawn further away from the herd. I don't think herds should move constantly trying to find bushes, I would both increase the time it takes for them to have an empty stomach and the amount of food it takes to fill them up again. This way, herds can stay at one place without worrying about them starving for some time, but they also have to wander around quite some time to fill their stomachs again. Of course this would cause problems with nesting, which is why I would also make some changes to that. bigger Herbis like paras and trikes can incubate multiple eggs at once. If they have wandered around to find food before nesting, they could easily store more than enough food in their nests to feed their hatchlings, but once they turn into juveniles, the herd has to migrate again so the hatchlings don't starve. I'm not sure if this would work out as I imagine it, maybe I'm missing something, but imo it would be a good way to make herds move around more without doing so by making them starve fast, so they have some time to chill but have to migrate for some time after doing so.
Please add in survival hypo class for rex, giga, spino and other dinos that are linked to hypo in the wiki page.

Seeing females can nest, it would be cool if the males got something as well.
Possibly a longer range of sent and if a nest is around have them be around the nest & female to speed the eggs up by 10%?
Here's a little suggestion on AI herds. If there will ever be AI hadrosaur herds, it would be cool if they didn't spawn near hungry carnivores, but instead randomly in more open areas. They could also wander around the map a bit (maybe wander from lake to lake?). This way, bigger carnivores like rexes can't stay in one place for hours because the AI spawns very close to them, but they have to roam around a bigger territory trying to find a herd. Once they found a herd, they can follow it and kill a herd member from time to time. Of course the carnivores shouldn't constantly run around panicking because they can't find a herd, so there would still be some smaller AI around. It would be a cool way to encourage players to not stay at one lake all the time, because it feels like you get more AI by sitting in the same spot than roaming around.
Very small suggestion -- In spectator mode as an admin the sensitivity is FAR too high. To the point where me and my friends can't really do anything properly. It would be nicer for the spectator sensitivity to be the exact same as dino sensitivity OR for a separate settings feature to be added for spectator mode so you can adjust the sensitivity yourself. This was probably suggested many times before. But it would be great if, in the skin select/create screen, we had a dropdown menu to switch between the different growth stages so we can see what our Dinosaur would look like once its grown up. Currently the only way to preview this is going into sandbox and fiddling around with the skinsystem there.
Limit Giga and Rex group to 2( Including Juvies and Subs) Right now if you have 1 Friendly Rex/Giga it will make 4 Adult Rexes/Gigas in couple hours with no issue at all
Keep scars after battles?
I feel like scent could be improved by:
- Making some dinos have longer range than others
- Make fresh bodies give off scent too, not just gore
- Have players give off progressively stronger scent if they sit still or stay within a small area, until eventually their silhouette can be smelled or a "cloud" of scent forms around them/that area. This would help prevent afk levelling as well as be similar to how an animal's home irl would have their scent be very concentrated there since they spend so much time there
- Implement up/downwind mechanics
- Have the ability to mark your territory with scent, which would eventually fade over time so you'd know if it was placed recently
I was thinking about Sauropods like Camaras being in survival and such. I was thinking that if it were added and you had to grow a Camara from juvie to adult, I would imagine the Juvie possibly having slightly longer legs and a much faster animation, and as it gets older and becomes a Sub, it gets slower but LARGER. If you are lucky enough to grow a Camara to a fully grown adult, you'd be pretty damn safe from most dinosaurs especially if you're in a small herd. I only say this for things like Camara because some people do enjoy the playstyle of one, being slow and large but with a decent range of attacks
imagine a juvie camara that has longer legs running like an obese horse.
an idea for legendary deino growth: you only gain growth in the legendary stage by eating over your hunger bar so taking the high risk high reward it the only way to achieve

- Buff a creature's speed OR turn radius, not both (unless it's a fresh survival add and balancing must be done). Buffing both just because people ask for it can easily make dinosaurs overpowered (I think Dilo should have better turn radius but worse speed than Utahs). 2. Carnivores should have better night vision but less "distance" vision (rendering of creatures, etc) than Herbivores. There are some other balancing stuff that could be put, but if they aren't doing this already balancing creatures to "counter" (probably not the best word for it but iunno) each other would make for more or less better interactions, and make things like the Utah not always the best choice for a faster carnivore, or things like the Rex not always the best for power/damage. Also 0 barreled shotgun. I'm still asking, Dondi c'mon man
** "New" fields on v3 and Thenyaw **
Region2 had a big marsh wich was filled with this high/tall plants. It was a pretty good place to hunt and also was a good nesting place for herbivores.
Please consider adding it to Thenyaw or v3 as a big field filled with this
As it stands, Apexes are worth 2x their investment, compared to mid tiers; You get 4x the 'power' and 4x the 'durability' while only dealing with 2x the 'demands' and 2x the 'grow time'.
Coupling this with how Subadults are basically mid tiers in every sense, be it their demands, time and yet the power and durability you get out of them... this had all led to a massive plague this patch. It's not a mathematically viable choice to pick mid tier, bc apexes have such an easy time growing while also returning double their investment.
How I think things should be solved, if we consider simple solutions outside overhauling how AI spawns?
(possible trigger warning)
- Full apex growth time cranked up to 12hrs. Yes. IK. I'm a terrible person to suggest you spend half a day growing a dinosaur. But I'm not saying to massively increase Sub & Juvi times, they'd see slight changes, yes, but the majority would be over your adult stage; fresh adult Trex and whatnot would not be 'super rare', but full adults would be seldom seen, like seeing a White Elephant stand out from the herd. Much more of an achievment.
Changed growths:
Juvi Giga: 110 min -> 120 min
Juvi Trex: 100 min -> 120 min
Sub Giga: 220 min -> 240 min
Sub Trike: 200 min -> 180 min
Adult Giga: 60 min -> 360 min (total: 12hrs)
Adult Trex: 100 min -> 420 min (total: 12hrs)
Adult Trike: 100 min -> 480 min (total: 12hrs)
Why this change, you may ask?
Well, as we all know, hunger demands while growing are always much harsher than when you finally are finished. Therefore, while a full adult Trex player, who makes his way to the absolute pinnacle of the food chain, reaps the benefits of lessened food demands and full-power, he would have needed A LOT more food to reach that point than currently. Because the majority of packs would be fresh-adults, hungry bastards that can actually be taken down by mid-tier packs, they would be much harder to sustain, because it would take a lot longer than 100min to reach the 'lower food demands' of full-adults.
Furthermore, if your Solo Apex, who managed to reach all the way to 1.0, comes across a pack? It's more likely than not you actually have a fucking advantage, whether it's your ability to run the fuck away, or actually curb stomp these young plebs. Growing a pack would become much much harder than Solo, because imagine keeping 4 growing Trexes fed... for 7hrs 
As an alternative way to make Dilo vs Utah more fair. Currently Utah has 1200 health somehow. What about toning it down to 900, to match its weight?
I did the calculating there. If I got it right, if Utah were to have 900 health then Dilo would roughly ~8 shot Utah in raw damage. I believe Utah 7 shots Dilo right now?
It would definitely be much more fair than right now. Having its health match the weight would make Utah less of a megalul kamikaze boi. And for real, since Utah is faster, Dilo really should be capable of holding its own against it. Just because it's reliant on night vision doesn't mean its fate should be instantly sealed the moment it gets spotted by a Utah.
I would suggest a feature where all herbis can talk to each other in local chat, being that most if not all servers allow herbivores to mix pack. I agree with only allowing same species carnivores to talk in local, but it would seem reasonable to allow herbis this feature considering the previous statement. it would allow people to create herds easier without clunking up the global chat

Suggestion: Make Rex leg-break two-hit or angle dependent? At the moment they can face tank Trike and break their leg through their body in one go. Forcing them to go from the side would make for more interesting encounters than just rolling through, or two-hit would give the trike some time to regroup/prepare.
Maybe changing the dino menu a bit to fix the clutter and make dinos easier to find? Like take the juvi and hatch stages and put it in the adult menu. Here is a crappy pic to show you:
This will took so long so take your time to read: This is more like an idea, and probably someone already answered it or said it? What about having seasons like spring, winter etc. For example after X hours (could be 10h,20h etc) a change of season and each season has different things. What do I mean with this? I mean, if it's winter (+ snow + cold) make them move a bit slower (because of snow) and make dinosaurs a cold-system thing that they have to keep warm by looking for a place to be or just staying close to other dinosaur (same dinosaur species) so they have the body warm or however is this called. Then Summer it would be hot (you can add fires here OHOHO), then they could move into the water to turn down the body temperature so you make people move to water, that would give water dinosaurs/reptiles whatever more chances. Spring would be the mating season maybe? (this would be the only season for nesting or not, up to you. Maybe summer/autumns too) like some animals do, with no cold/hot system this time or yes. Autumn would be a bit cold and rainy (and here you can add the floods EHEH) Ofc each season with a change on the map which would be difficult I guess? Example: Winter : snow. And instead of rain: snow. Summer less flowers compared to spring around and more sunny days. Spring more flowers decoration and sunny-rainy season. Autumn it could be between rainy and cloudy. consistent footprints please. Sometimes they show, sometimes they don't. Sometimes you see only the left footprint or right, and so on. Also would be interesting to make them last depending of the speed the causer was going. Sprint being the longest or Z'ing/ambushing the least duration
would also be really sweet to m ake them more visible without smelling depending on the weight of the dino
Maybe consider creating a desert map? Kind of similar to the modded map someone made a while back. Where water sources would be far and wide, creating more conflict for water territory. adding large rock formations with caves, as well ass sand storms where it would be difficult to see (like it is when it’s pouring rain).
(Sorry for it being lengthy) since the timeline of the game takes place in the future and not the past, why should we only have “dinosaurs”? what if you guys created a small variety of mammals to play ass such as the mammoth or the saber tooth tiger? Short faced bear? this would add massive amounts of variety to gameplay and play styles. I know you guys once had a wolf in the game. Why didn’t you guys add onto those ideas? there’s so much more you can do than just dinosaurs in the world you’ve created.
This has probably been discussed before.... but maybe have food and water levels drop when animal is injured and have food and water repair dino faster, might make an apex think twice about fighting certain dinos. This might already be in effect maybe in little ways?
When you kill a player you get scar. More people killed = more scars.
Ava AI spawning less frequently
After hearing alt-turn would be permanent, I suggest a mechanic that is a realistic version of alt turn that could be implemented as a replacement: sharp turn
Unlike alt-turn, sharp turning requires the dinosaur to still have to move in a particular direction, and not exactly pivot in place. Sharp turning is like alt-turn, if alt-turn still had a turn radius and an animation.
Sharp turning is similar to the dakoraptor walking turn radius in the game Saurian. It isn’t pivoting in place, but it’s far more effective from normal walking turn. It’s like a slightly nerfed form of alt turn.
Example:
A dinosaur is trotting torwards the water, and then slows to a walk. As soon as given player lets go of whatever key controls moving forwards, the player stops, then looks behind it. Once the camera moves to a certain point, the dinosaur will automatically sharp-turn, rather than having to press a separate key to alt-turn.
To sum it up, replace alt-turn with a type of turn that is pretty much identical to alt turn, except it has animation, is activated by the angle the player turns their camera while walking or at a stop, and also has a turn radius while retaining the effectiveness of alt turn.
TLDR; Think the Dakotaraptor waking turn from the game Saurian, and replace alt turn with something like that
My suggestion is that maybe they could add like a distance meter from the players you are in group with, so you kinda know how far away you are from each other 😃
Suggestion 2: Alt turn should be able to be activated by camera movement or the speed the dinosaur is moving when it decides to alt-turn. Mainly because I have a friend who has his movement and attack bound to mouse keys, because he has issues with one of his hands and can’t easily use the keyboard at the same time. Would also make it convenient for other players.
Thus, mouse movement being able to activate a form of alt turn would significantly help all players
I feel as though the removal of dark browns/blacks in carnivores has severely limited the option for countershading. I'm no longer able to use skins that relied on the usage of a black/dark brown in the Body 2 slot because they don't look as good as they did.
I'd like to see these colors reimplemented as people are going to make ugly colors no matter what, they can do so very easily. You have taken away one of the main threats from apexes by buffing their hunger. Please revert the hunger buff for Rex/Giga. Speaking of which Giga should probably get a faster drain because he's simply bigger than rex. Apex is no longer difficult, you can literally live your entire life by feeding off of AI. Please. This would reduce the apex population and bring back the challenge/difficulty. You should not abide to "oh its no fun buff plz", it's a fucking apex, go hunt someone, you can't walk around with this insane ass hunger and live PURELY by feeding off of AI and sometimes small herbis. Keep in mind, I am not saying you should always starve as an apex. I'm saying the apexes need a fucking threat. Why play anything else but Giga and Rex? The two most powerful dinosaurs, and you can live your entire life as them by just eating AI. Last edit, limiting the apex pack adult limit to 2 would also decrease the apex pop. You'd see less. 5 packs are always nesting and splitting and multiplying.
It would be a nice touch if when storm hit depending on the severity different levels of flooding to add a little more realism.

AI spawns in with a max size of the largest dino in the area. Meaning, if there are only small carnis in the area, like juvies, only tacos and oros will spawn, but if there are bigger carnis, then the avas will spawn as well. This way juvies can eat without being teased by avas that are too big to kill :^V

I highly suggest focusing efforts on the character menu. I'd like to see your weight and speed progressively adjust itself accordingly as you grow for all dinos. Additionally having your ambush speed displayed either when you enter ambush in place of your speed, or readily available at all times.
I can imagine this is probably something to look into once the recode is complete.

While it being AI makes it seem quite unlikely that it will become playable, I'd like to still like to try and provide a constructive arguement on how it could be made into an interesting and engaging playable.
When burrowing gets more fleshed out, I have a few ideas that would make it intertwine with other mechanics like the weather system, and generally make gameplay more varied for both the burrowing animal and the ones that hunt them.
Varying burrow shapes and sizes
Allow for different burrow shapes to be dug out, depending on whether the burrow is going to be a temperary shelter/hideout or a permanent home/nesting site.
-Smaller burrows would be like a smaller version of the one we have now, have a lower limit for maybe 1 or 2 adult animals.
-Medium burrows could be the current one we have, that allow for 4 adults to be inside at the same time.
-Larger burrows could have some connecting tunnels and allow for more animals to be in the burrow at the same time.
The larger burrows could be made using the burrow you already have, but can take more time to build than the last one.
(for mechanical reasons, it might be best to not allow burrow upgrades until everyone is outside of the burrow, since the model of the interior changes with each addition.)
Nests will only be able to be placed in large burrows. (hatchlings can still go in the other burrows, but you cannot place a nest down inside of them.
Burrow damage and destruction
When damage and destruction are made for the burrows, smaller burrows will have significantly less health than the larger burrow, so that larger carnivores can have a chance to try and fish out any dryo/taco that might be hiding inside.
Damage caused to the burrow will cause the same shaking/falling rock effect that happens currently. (when the burrow is deleted with someone inside of it) but to a lesser effect. It will be louder and more intense when the burrow is about to collapse, to notify players that they have to GTFO or be crushed by the collapsing burrow.
If the burrow collapses , the burrow entrance model will turn into a collapsed version. Carnivores can activate the collapsed burrow by holding right click to start digging in the rubble, the time depending on how big the burrow is. If it collapsed with a dino inside, The carnivore will drag out the corpse of one of the animals inside.
If nobody was inside the burrow, the carnivore pretty much wastes it's time digging up stones.
Weather effects on burrows
Heavy rains could slowly start to flood burrows, depending on how long the storms are, and the size of the burrow. If enough storms happen consecutively, Eventually this would deteriorate the burrow and force the inhabitants to evacuate and find a new home. This should be balanced so that it would take multiple instances of heavy storms, to make it a somewhat rareish occurance to be severe enough to finally force inhabitants to evacuate.
These are just some drafts of ideas i had in mind, if you like them feel free to give your constructive feedback about them and what you like/don't like about the ideas in #general-feedback-discussion

When affinity is added, I would like to see some kind of disease debuff that affects your hunger draining faster, hp being reduced, and your damage being reduced, to limit size of packs/herds. I was thinking having it be a stacking debuff that stacks until the size of the pack or herd is down to the recommended size of that species. It should be severe enough that they would want to leave immediately.
I would like to sacrifice a percentage of my food to lay a big dino turd, so that way when another player sniffs they will see that this is my turf! (Being serious, too. I wish there was some sort of scent/marking mechanic to alert others, since you can't specifically target living dinos with sniffing.)
The Isle trailer suggests that players of the same species can fight each other (ie: the trikes about to butt heads), which is fine. This would be a good way to indicate who the alpha of a pack is. The problem, however, is that players will never do this since there is no incentive to fighting another player of the same specie. If in a group, it would be cool to add an alpha tag to someone's name, and that alpha would have some perk, like more health, faster speed, more stamina, etc.
It's pretty hard for raptors to take down big prey. Sure, there's no problem with being a vulture. But some raptors like to be proactive and hunt large game. You can't do this because friendly fire is always on. Perhaps an option to turn off friendly fire for players in a group?
Now that a trample mechanic has been added, how about making it so very large creatures capable of trampling knock over small trees when walking into them?
If/when you add more wildlife, perhaps add in birds that will flee the canopies and screech when a large dino knocks into the trees?

Get rid of the calls when messaging, The part where if your not looking at someone typing and you look back towards them they make the F call. takes all skill out of listening for prey or if your stalking something from far away and they can hear you simply because they turned in your direction.
On the dino select screen, the button colours for each dino should be coloured green, yellow and red - indicating difficulty to grow
Add humid days that makes the air appear, causing slightly blurred vision (maybe add cicadas buzzing, too, when it happens).
Add draught days that cause dehydration faster or rivers to thin/lakes to shrink (wildlife sounds replaced with barren wasteland ambiance and crows cawing).
Resting in the rain stops dehydration, and swimming in fresh water replenishes hydration (perhaps an animation of your dino with its head tilted up and mouth open?) .
Licking the wounds of a resting fellow dino slightly increases healing.
Add sleep animation (dino lowers its head to the ground rather than keeping it propped up during rest, and is forced into nightvision mode).
Randomly generated AI carcasses for carnivores (You're seriously telling me that small creatures only die because we killed them?).
AI nests, where you can find, potentially, more than 1 AI at a time.
Or rather, nest in an AI and have one take control of a baby. The AI grows on its own and mimics your actions (follow, call, attack, run, etc).
It’d be neat to see critters with a jump be able to crouch, and, after a few second of standing still, activate a boosted jump that gives them x1.5 or even x2 vertical climb of their original standard jump. Boing.

Maybe later on in the game, when you get hatched, an option to choose 2 (3 if male) colors that would then be in randomized places (detail, body1, body2) but retained the body3 and underbelly of your mother. Alternatively, when nest patriarch is added, those colors will be taken from said patriarch, namely detail color.
Also make night pitch black again and night vision automatic. This will render changing the gamma useless and remove the advantage certain players (that have access to gamma) have.

Currently hatched in dinos seem to have very little skins that they can have. They tend to all look simular, for example the dilos hatchlings tend to always have green around their belly and a light colored main body skin, i dont know how difficult it would be to do this, but what if for every location that a color can be applied, you flip a coin. 50 chance it will be the same color as parent dino, 50 chance the game will select a random available color to apply. This way the child will look simular to parent dino, and almost always have some variety

At full growth, pachy's hunger only lasts for 25 minutes, depleting by 4% per minute. it makes pachy really unenjoyable to play. it would be nice if its hunger value was increased to last 2x longer

Can the Juvie sucho get a bit faster walk? Asking because it's noty an adult dino and it's feeling really slow while walking, and even the running feels slow to me. I thought younger dinos should be a little faster because you know kids, they have lot of energy to run around and play with.
in addition juvi dilo camera is a pain in the ass i hate that i can't zoom out more just make it as a juvi dilo to not have the camera so zoomed in even if you have zoomed out max

The game is more fun with more players. So i Purpose having 200 slots for some official server more the better. Some time its hard to get in the server when it's full and you have your dino grown there. Many people are attracted to more populated server because of more action, keep the players playing in the officaial . which i think is the best server of all with i't s less rules and better mods.more fun.

It would be extremely beneficial if filtering names on the tab list would remove other player's names from vision in Spectator Cam. For when you can't directly tp to them to help or whatever other reason.
Open up the 'dryo' colour set to carnis, to allow a wider selection of greens.

Dryos should not make noise inside their burrow. The noise pollution that more than 2 dryos can make is really irritating. If anything, I would make it so you could hear them if you bring your head close to the burrow. Otherwise, I feel like dryos shouldn't be heard in burrows.
heavy predators should be allowed to damage burrows, like cause it to start caving in from back to front. The burrow could have a collapse timer that gets reduced more the heavy predator works on it.
Also, being able to teleport to people discreetly in spectator cam so that we could teleport to people that we need to apprehend/monitor would be beneficial.
We already know the affinity system will penalize players for having oversized groups. It's assumed this penalty would be removed by simply splitting up the group. However it might also be worth adding a reward for killing the extra dinosaurs instead of simply making them leave. That would create an incentive for the dinosaur players and particularly the apexes to engage in some natural population control for their own species, thus averting problems like the official servers' current apex overpopulation issue without having to resort to stat nerfs.

Please give the Pue some love. It's basically broken. You can't eat or drink and hunger and thirst can't kill you. Your stamina drains way to quick. The whole IK system or whatever makes it look like it's on a roller coaster. Character menu isn't completed. Needs new animations due to it being to stiff looking. Overall, needs a lot of work and fixing. Also, please allow larger dinos like the Cama and Pue to be able to eat certain trees and larger bushes that the other larger dinos can't. Also, needs to be able to defend itself better.

Para and Maia are basically the same Dino. Maybe tunning para into the Herb sucho could help, Boost it's swim speed and nerfing Stam used for it would relocate para as a semi aquatic creature, that is an accepted feature of this dinosaur irl. They would be able to use rivers to migrate, or swim across lakes to scape predators. Also, suchos could use a contestant for the best spots.
I think, like bleed, it'd be nice if there was an icon that told you your leg is broke outside of the character thing

It would be beneficial to organize the colors for the dinosaurs by tones similarly to how Warframe organizes their colors in various tints/shades/saturations (and give options for unlockable color palettes as achievements!). This would reduce the need to hunt for specific colors as they would be bunched up together in one larger mass and not scattered around visually -and also would help those who are color blind as they can then learn what colors are on what row with some help, and then pick via tones/tints for their dinosaurs.
It would be nice if you were able to see nametags above peoples names in replays (ingame recording) for servers that has strict rules, locating members of your pack could be very difficult if for example Utahs (in my case) would be in a forest, there would be very easy to give an admin of (server) the info they need to manage a report for a possible rulebreak

** Dilophosaurus Suggestion **
I liked the direction that the team was taking dilophosaurus later last year. I thought I was really cool seeing its night vision being vastly superior to the other dinosaurs in the game. However as of late, they have been steering him towards something more reminiscent of a small giganotosaurus or a ceratosaurus. Though I do admire the team acknowledging the fact that something is wrong with its game play, I believe they should go back and remind themselves of what they were trying to do with it later last year and their promise to strive towards quinique gameplay.
- Revert the lighting nighttime to be significantly more dark more often.
- Change the size of dilophosaurus to more represent the D. wetherilli (holotype specimen).
- Allow dilophosaurus players to steal/takeover dryosaurus burrows (need to work on burrows and the role they play in the game).

They’ll primarily focus on taking out dryosaurus and psittacosaurus, but can single out and attack players of higher weight classes with their superior night vision and venom, when they have the advantage and set up attacks. By day, they’ll seek refuge in the burrows to avoid getting face tanked from bigger players

The DIlo is being killed 😦 ... It's entire purpose was to bite and bleed out the enemy. And now that is being weakened and traded for more bite damage. This means the Dilo will have to get more bites in to win a fight. But the problem with this is the Dilo has VERY low health and is being 1-2 shot by basically everything. So having to go in for more bites is extremely risky...
and the dinos that dont kill the Dilo in 2 bites... They have better speed and turning and can literally butt-ride the dilo to death.
The other day I ambushed two Utahs who were laying down, and literaly bit them 5 times before they could stand and start attacking me. And they still out turned / outran me and spam bit me to death before they could bleed out from my attack.
The Dilo is helpless with the current and last setup. It NEEDS more health and a slightly better turning to even defend itself..
When I began playing this game last month the Dilo was ambush hit and run dino for tactical play, and used the pitch black at night for this to make up for its risky low health. Now even the night has been taken away from it and its night vision is pointless, because the night has been lighted to the point where anyone with increased screen brightness can see everything in the dark without any nigh vision, and this takes away from the surprise hits to keep the target moving and bleeding.
At this point the dilos main food is other pack members who die in the attacks against the chosen target, because chances are one of the pack will get hit with the one shot death during the fight.
Rex and Giga are in good spot. But their juvie and sub stage makes it really easy to get to adulthood with little to no gameplay. increase their hunger decay for Juvie and Sub Adult so it drain faster, meaning they will have to go often to drink and catch that AI, in return that gives other player to keep their population in check since they will be noticed more often (including their tracks) instead of just sitting in the tree for eternity before actually going for food.
TL;DR make them work for that Adult Apex
Please revert the fall damage change to Utah's. If the ground isnt 100% flat and you jump you break your leg. I can see this being a nightmare if Utahs ever get that pounce attack, they will be breaking their legs left and right.

I'd like to see the trike actually being capable of fighting a rex. They're pretty much dead with one legbreak, and I think a big herbivore would be able to break bones with an 8 ton stomp.

Make Avas give at least one more bite than an Oro to a fullgrown Apex. This makes no sense if you ask me 🤷

A realistic idea would be that as you grow as a juvie to adult, the sounds you make would start to change. For example, you are .7/.8 as a juvie allo. When you are that big, your voice has a mixture of juvie and adult voices. i dont know if this is possible to make, but it would had a really realistic vibe to survival as you grow.
hope when the game gets out of development, the number of apexes is limited per server in the new survival. Realistically most maps wouldn’t be able to support the massive amount of apexes people play on most servers. Somewhat like the match layout for a game of Primal Carnage. You could pass the soft cap by nesting until the hard cap is reached. Meanwhile there would be no cap for mediums to small Dino’s. Some extra Benefits for herbivores and AI apex and medium herb herds would be great, but only if they could defend themselves and spawn as one herd per server, typically in a field. Currently the high amount of apex’s per servers in survival takes away from a balanced competition. Sure Dryos can zip around a Giga’s legs but they can’t hurt it, only harass. Otherwise if you aren’t a trike, RIP.
So, seeing as I logged on today as my rex on US 1 to get some gameplay rolling, I didn't really expect to be met with the face of another rex as he started to kill me. Now, I am not writing this as a complaint, but a suggestion for a new mechanic or rule ( However if thought of as a rule it would be hard to enforce). There has to be some way to stop people from just running up to your dino and killing you on the spot when you haven't even loaded in the basic textures for the map. I guess the mechanic could be revolved around either teleporting the person away from the other people around them when they load in so that said person has a chance to actually realize the full extent of events occurring around them. I say this as it isn't fun to lose 7 hours of work just because I couldn't load in fast enough and It could prevent future problems from happening that might cause frustration within the community.
Increase the juvi herbis speed and stamina regeneration. Rn they cant do anything against juvi carnis that are the same size or even smaller, and juvi carnis dont even need to hunt them with the current ais... This would give a better survival rate to herbis giving the servers a bigger population of them.
I don't know how hard it is to create dinosaurs but I'm sure it's an extreme hassle and an annoyance, but do you think you could make a one if smallest dinosaurs. The Compsugnathus. Again I'm sorry and I don't know how hard it is but this is just a small ones little opinion or suggestion.

Could dinosaur weight scale with growth as damage does, as well? It feels strange to have a sub rex grow for 3 hours but it still weighs 2.8 tons, same as its starting, while adult rex can weigh 5.8 within the next 100 minutes.
Do something with mountains. Herbs are running there and you can't fight normally. 10 centimeters fall and your leg is broke.

Now, everyone knows I am an avid rex player and hardcore rex fan, but even I have to admit, playing as an adult rex is way too easy, now that we can eat large ribs, have ava to feast on, and had our hunger timers increased. Since we have large ribs and ava, I think our hunger timers can go back to what they used to be since we have more options on what foods we can eat.
Buff Cerato’s trash bleed resist so that it can actually be the small but tough honeybadger boi to kill.
Patriarchal dna for nesting so that you can choose one male from your pack/herd that's genes (together with your genes as a matriarch) will dictate how the babies will look like. (apologies for my english 😂)

Rework bone break inflicted by dinosaurs (rex) so that the bb% only works after a certain % of health - for example a rex would only be able to break the leg of a trike after it's down to 50% of its original maximum health. This would balance the fact that rex is able to insta-break legs and cripple dinosaurs resulting in their doom. Consequently, in this example trikes would have a better chance at defending against rexes and could relieve some of those crying for trike buff.
Regional dmg... so you take less dmg when bitten on the tail but more dmg when bitten on the neck/head ... also so rex doesn’t break leg bones from biting a tail

Biting takes stamina
This will allow for all players who stand in one spot and spam bite, to actually have to use some strategy. Larger Apexes will also need to come up with a plan if they are to take on numerous smaller dinos. This also allows for the smaller dinos to have a chance to bring down some of this larger apexes. In addition, it accounts for those herbivores who need to defend themselves from apexes to actually be able to do so. It will also give smaller juvies a better chance at survival. With the larger dinos having to actually aim instead of chasing a little one to the ends of the earth, biting at its ankles, and eventually killing it.

Add a damage/health boost to the Austro Raptor so it is more like the Utah raptor. Currently gets 1 shotted by practically everything, including Utahs.

I feel like utha a cera have to fast of a turn. Put utha at the same turn as dilo is. And put cerastill aster than allo, but not as much as it is at the moment. This will hopefully fix uthas being able to kill apexes and ceras killing allos as easy
Make leg endurance a little better
Making some balance in Apex would be great, Rex should not be running that fast as allo compared to is size. Its the same size as Giga. Making it realist as possible decrease it's speed to match that of Giga. So that Giga and Allo Could have some chance running away. Decrease Cira Speed To Match that of allo Its running too fast.
So I have a suggestion and its comepletly unrelated to survival dinos so feel free to ignore it but I think oro should not be able to 1 shot a velo when velo doesn't even kill it with one bite because thats kinda retarded and maybe give some of the small bois customizable colors because some of their patterns would look really good with other colors. maybe make it where with ai spawns oros and tacos tend to spawn around juvis and avas tend to spawn around larger carnivores, i played juvi utah one time and all that would spawn around me were ava ai. Most juvis cant catch the ava anyway at least for my experience many of v3 map ai spawns seem to be more favoring of the ava. Maybe make it to where the ava provides more food for the larger carnivores and then the juvis mainly get spawned the oro, taco, and velo.
Balcancing... needs rebalancing.
Giga and Rex should have their HP lowered, honestly the only thing that can touch them are other apexes and that's fine but not when 50% of the server is an apex who just runs away from other apexes and hunts the little guys.
Giga should be able to out run a rex.
Rexes bonebreak shouldn't be as high of a chance as it is now.
Utahs need a better heal.
Dilos are in a good place right now.
Carnos and fall damage?? Also their bite could do with lowering.

I feel that herbivores should have a different group system. Herbivores that are closely related/ cousins, should be able to mix herd. For instance able to send an invite for trike as pachy or oro as galli. Maia with shant and para. If packed with a mix herd, just give indivual dino specices a different pack affinity. Like maybe when mixed herd every dino has a 10% stamina regen, maybe when your not in a mix herd you have more speed and more health regen. Give them two ablites or 3 for pack affinity. Maybe someone doesn't want to mix herd because they prefer more speed Percentage.
on Official limit team of rex and giga to 2 or 3 please
Add a "Muffle Scent" action. This allows your trail to disappear faster and be harder to find. You have to be laying down to use it, and you flick dirt at your trail and roll in it. Allows people to hide in trees if they were being chased down: gives injured or slower dinos a chance as well.
If group member icons were more transparent or to have a slider to change transparency in options menu
Raise the player cap of the official servers to 150 or 200
Could bodies in water be able to float up into shore? Even if it's "not realistic" or what have you, at least let it be a temporary solution if there's gonna be dinos like Sucho with water mechanics, seems such a waste when something dies in its element and more frustrating when it has that cool ambush there but there's don't go into water rules.
I have a suggestion that is not very important but maybe something for the future. I think it would be interesting to see which subspecies/specimen the playable dinosaurs are inspired by. The info could be next to the name of the dinosaur. It would then be in the dinoprofile, for example, Parasaurolophus "walkeri". As a little extra for the realism.

It should be possible to sniff a dead body
Dinos who have just eaten or killed someone leave a small trail of blood for a little bit, to add to the realism factor and ability to find someone who had just killed another player.

Limp feature, a progressive transition into bone break- so, an anky hits you n you gain a small limp, you limp slightly n walk slower but you heal the limp really quickly, if the anky continues to hit you, you receive a more severe limp etc. limps get worse until bone break.
Be able to fake a limp again
Reduce the pack limit of rexes to 2 and lower the bonebreak chance. Sick and tired of seeing 4-5 rexes doing whatever they want
Does anyone remember that they brought up something about reworking feathers for the gali, austro, and theri. Maybe they could add an iridescent affect to the feathers? And allow the feathers to flow as the creature walks. Also during a storm their feathers get ruffle up by the wind or react with shrubs and in it's environment.
Maybe a future Idea would be to allow the theri and other feathered creatures to groom and lose feathers for human or humanoids to pick up as a resource. For arrows, decor and such.
The feathers also can move in an aggressive stance like a turkey possibly.
If you are well fed and watered, lets say over 80% on both, you should have the ability to recover health faster.
When drinking you should be able to 'drip' a bit of water from your mouth to make it look more realistic, the same with blood from eating as a carni or as a herbi some leaves would fall off whatever plant you eat.
The allo animations are really stiff, and almost robotic. It’d be nice to see some more “lively” animations and movements.
I miss when male rexes had two detail colors, one on the back, one on the throat. The bone dust on the back and the bloody throat and belly was very appealing and I wish there was a bit more color on Rex's back/sides and on his throat like he used to have.
The ability to disable and enable certain Ai. For server owners like me with specific eras, having Ava’s honk around my Jurassic rotation and then eventually Acro roaming as well will disrupt the aim of the server. Brachiosaurus Ai will remove the immersion from my Cretaceous rotation as well. I assume by the time atleast one of them is available as Ai there will be no mods to help handle that.

Eating herb bushes or corpses should satiate your thirst by a small amount. Perhaps 5% 'water' max from one body/bush.
Water highlighting/smelling problems
Highlights : This should stay as it is. It's a really good way to let the player know there is water near. However there is a blue"disc" wich shows you the water trough the map. It's kinda problematic, if you are near big waterholes/swamp it can be really frustrating and makes people not trying to smell footprints because of it.
Solution : - Delete the blue "disc". We got our magnetic compass. Instead of this irritating disc, place points on the compass so you know where you need to go in-case you wanna find water.
This is not just a solution, but also makes compass way more important and usefull.
until we have the affinity system make a pack limit for all species on Official Servers specially Apex...Rex and Giga should be reduced to 2 including subs, its now clear that megapacking unbalances the game.
Limit Apexes to TWO adults and THREE (maximum) subadults instead of five adults/subadults mixed. With the amount of Rexes on official servers I think this would be beneficial for everyone.
It might have been debated before, but it would be nice to have the Isle-V3 map on local hosting along side the other two options. Sometimes I like to test out new creatures stats, growth and such and a closed system does wonders, getting to know the map is great, but the main reason I am asking for it is that Velociraptors seem to be Isle-V3 exclusive for now, and I want to incorporate this into training.

Revisited the Albertosaurus document, this was a huge collaberation with Bruce the Xenomorph, who helped out tremendously with coming up with the stats and balance for Albertosaurus. Overall we've renovated the entire document, simplifying the proposed mechanic to make it less convoluted.
Instead of straight to an acro, maybe a medium or small sized carnivore first? Like Dienonychus or Metriacanthosaurus. They wouldnt be playable, but instead be AI to go alongside larger herbivore AI.
In the forests, being stuck in trees are fine to be stuck on as a small dino (Which I am talking about anything that is smaller than a carno), but for a dilo, raptor, or any of those sized dinos should not get stuck on small rocks. It just makes it harder to hunt anything, so there is almost no way to kill anything in the forest, only if it's like a one shot kill or something that is the same size. I think there will be more hunts in the woods if the rocks don't stop the dinos from hunting.
Creating time and space specific Ai, in other words oros would be found in the day in the plains, while tacos would be found at night on forested areas😩 👌
Maybe a mechanic/key where we can quickly switch front view to behind us? It would help if you heard footsteps behind you and needed to see before you're probably ambushed.
Several have mentioned reducing the pack limit for apex (giga/rex) on the official servers but so far I haven't seen anyone give a lot of reasoning for it. As an avid Rex player I can say without a doubt that the pack limit should definitely be reduced. This isn't something that a stat change would fix, the real issue is the safety that is provided just from having one or two parents. There is still the threat that another pack of Rexs or Gigas can take down the family but they have to find the Rex family first. The mid tiers could take down the subs but that would require a decent pack and for the adult Rex to leave the sub adult vulnerable. With the current limit both giga and rex can multiply very easily. I think that by limiting apex to 2-3 including subs on the official servers would help solve this issue. This may not deter players from playing as apex but it will at least solve the issue of the server being overwhelmed by several apex packs of 5 as well as giving solo players a chance to do some damage before being killed in a fight.
can the beach spawns be removed? theyre really annoying when you get them and almost 9/10 times everyone just suicides themselves when they get a beach spawn, just adds up to it not being fun when you have to drown yourself around 15 times just so that youd have a decent chance at actually playing the game

Improving Utah and Dilo run speeds a little more. Currently they are comparable to many other predators except in a dash, which makes them very vulnerable to being hunted. Given how squishy they are and how little damage they do, giving them the benefit of greater speed seems fitting.
Walking should leave less footprints

Walking should have more incentives to be used, other than for tight combat turning and aesthetics.

A way to override the roaring animation with the biting action? It's so irritating when I 3 roar at someone either in defense of whatnot and my opponents seize the moment to attack when I cannot physically bite back because of my roaring animation. Kind of makes the fight unfair.

Dilo might still need some buffs. Atm, it's very weak against other '2-hour-growth' tier matchups such as Utah and Cerato, who are the same speed / faster, but have better turn radius and stamina. Dilo doesn't have the upper hand when pitted against them.
I would have said Dilo can use the night to its advantage, but v3 is too bright during night atm...

I made a Herrerasaurus suggestion Doc mainly cause i feel Herrera could server a good role in survival and genuinely enjoyed this idea and the making of this doc. I hope it gains some traction behind it and get's some support and may even be reviewed by developers of the game and taken in to consideration.

Recent changes made apexes very popular on the current dino meta and my opinion some of mid tier carnis really need a some love to make the midtier gameplay more appealing to play other than people overwhelmingly play Carnos due to it's sheer powerful advantages that some other midtier dinos lack on creating an identity.
Carnotaurus
Currently the most popular midtier dino to play and sits very comfortably with it's stats being rather balanced despite it being very difficult to be killed in some eyes due to it's sheer overwhelming speed.
+Fastest dino in-game
+Can dictate favorable fights or just run away if it becomes dangerous for them
+Has very short growth time despite it's size and weight.
+Decent damage and bleed.
+Good stamina and can get anywhere in the map with the least time spend traveling.
-+Bit of a glass cannon like the Cerato but the difference is small between them.
-Bad turn rate.
Suggestion: Increase the growth time from 1,8 hours; 110min to 2.4 hours; 140min.
Why?: Currently Carnotaurus has too powerful map presence in-game with it's current advantages, this dinosaur is still balanced but on my opinion the growth time 1,8 hours; 110min is too short for a dino that weights over 2 tons since a Dilo that weights almost a ton less has the same growth timer. Reason why so many people like to play this dinosaur cause it's very easy to grow up with not many predators able to catch it while it's defensive and plus the short growth timer, this dinosaur becomes a real scorn to any other midtier dino that tries to grow up at the same time making it very frustrating for other dinos to grow up. I think increasing the growth time on this dinosaur wouldn't hurt him and ease a bit of pressure for other dinos since there wouldn't be so many adults growing up so fast and assuming dominance early before some other midtier dinos are even close becoming adults(Cerato, Allos).
scent should be able to be used while crouched
Implement trample to all herbies except for those in your in game party with it's respective limits. Allow this trample to be a 20 to 30 yd, 360 degree radius to prevent herbies protecting outside their family groups or species, along with small herbs hiding inside apex herbs. This would allow easier hunting for carnivores when coming up into a large herd. The herbs have to split or risk death by being too close to a trike if they're a maia or dryo. No longer can a trike run up to protect a para etc, or they trample that para to death.
This way, herbs can still mix herd but carnivores no longer have to worry about that trike coming to a maia's rescue. It also makes herbs have a clear distance outside of their party, or species. It also prevents giant herb herds of the same species. For example, 10 adult trikes. Their family/party limit would be 2 adults, 4 juvies or hatchlings. Once a juvie turns sub, they must be removed or the full party receives a high damage tick over a period of time until all or one member of an over packed party dies. This debuff cannot be removed or healed until the party limit is back to it's natural limit. Distance on the map will not matter. Debuff can only be removed upon staying within the party limit. This debuff can work with carnivores as well, to prevent over packing.
Ceratosaurus
This dino has a pretty good established identity as a bruiser that can end fights quickly due to recent buffs and people like for it's skillful play in close combat due to it's excellent turn rate in combat so it's close to be 2nd on midtiers when it comes to popularity what I seen.
+Has one of the best damage of midtier dinos
+Very high turn rate making it a good brawler
+good healing and one few dinos that can heal bleeding while running and walking.
+One of faster dinos on midtier 36.6 km with good stamina
+Decent growth time 2.5 hours; 150min
-Terrible Ambush
-Worst bleeder on midtier 8 x
-Low health and bad bleed resistance.
Suggestion: Increase weight and health from 2250 to 2400, reduce speed 36.6 to 35.5. Increase ambush time and speed 40.3 to 42.
Why?: On my opinion this Dino needs more health specially considering it's playstyle being heavily about committing all in on a fight since this dino practically does no bleed damage and it's low bleed resistance makes it very unlikely to survive a fight if they get a bleed on him, sustain fights is not this dinos speciality it's about ambushing and getting your prey before he can fight back due to it's superior combat agility to outmaneuver their opponent while fighting. It's health currently is just about 100 points of different between the Carnotauros and they shouldn't be this similar on playstyles currently since most use it's 36.6 speed to hit and run rather than play the dino on it's natural strengths. I honestly want to see the Ceratosaurus to become a real bruiser in-game and an opponent thats about being close and personal with good ambush capabilities.
Allosaurus
Not a very popular dino to play nowadays compared to the old and more faster Allo, but people do still play it despite it's flaws.
+Good damage and one of best bleeders.
+Best bleed healers and they are very fast at healing back to full strength making them very good in long fights, if they get a chance to exploit that and rest.
+Good health pool and weight at mid tiers
+Good Ambush
+Great Stamina
-One of longest grow timers on mid tier 3 hours; 180min.
-One of the slowest dinos 33.48 km/h
-Cannot heal bleed while being mobile like the Cerato.
Suggestion. Increase speed 33.48 km/h to 35 km/h but reduce 300N Bite to 250N.
Why?: Currently the dinosaur doesn't really have an identity and it's unreasonably slow movement speed severely hinders it's capability to exploit it's strengths, the Allo wasn't known to have a strong bite but they had sharp saw like teeth to inflict major bleeds, and it's stats screams at you that it's a dino that excels at long sustain fights due to it's high healing capabilities. With these changes I believe the dino would be a lot better compared what it is right now and it's weight already gives you a lot of bonus damage against it's similar contenders at the same tier.
Suggestion concerning body dragging: when body dragging is implemented larger carnivores should also be able to pick up smaller dinos without hurting them, and holding E while they have a small corpse/dino in their mouth should consume the cargo giving the carnivore all the food points it contains. This could not only be an interesting mechanic, but also allow carnivores to carry their young with them like crocodiles do, which could prove very useful in some cases. It will also fix the weird case of a huge Giga or Rex eating an oro like it's too big to eat in one bite.

Avaceratops AI needs to give way less food, spawn less frequently, and be harder to spot. It is currently the reason why there is an apex boom at the moment. I suggest decreasing its spawn rate and hunger nourishment, OR, make it fight back, so carnivores cannot rely on camping them during their first stages of growth.
A quick Human Gameplay suggestion from LunchaBills. Tribal's form of travel should involve Pole Vaulting. Must be crafted and can only be done once and not equipped or spammed in any way. An example of how this gameplay will please the eye is Tribals forming as the moon rises and locate a Mercenarie base, they can use this tactic to quickly enter a base without alarm or escape if the material is around. This technique can also be used to eliminate Mercinaries off of moving vehichles, performing a highjack. Another way can be to tame larger beasts that require more height to mount.

I suggest (once again) to limit all the Apexes to a maximum of 2 adults and some subadults. There's way too many of them and I think a lot of people are getting pissed by the big packs of Rexes roaming the map killing everything. It would make more sense to have smaller families too, let's get it.
Sometimes I press Hx2 and my dino is sitting then it's standing up. Do something with this.
Instead of bone break for packy/carno implement a charge with a short stun or something similar like you have to be top speed and attack to proc it to stop packs stun locking someone you could add in diminishing returns or length based on comparable weight

Parasaurolophus Kick needs to be a lingering hitbox over the whole animation
Subrexes, Carnos, Ceratos, Allos... all can run DIRECTLY into you, head on, because it only does damage at the end of the animation, which is a lot of B.S. It leaves you unable to really defend yourself especially if you cannot outrun a threat. If it was a lingering animations, predators would not simply run into you head-on willy nilly and come out unscathed
Gigantosaurus has no speed, no damage, but a tyrannosaur has. it leaves no chance for giga, I think that in real life the giga was much faster, but in the game it is very slow and t-rex is faster, it is better to balance the speed for the giga and reduce it in t-rex as it was once, but leave ambush
Would it be possible to implement it where scars heal yet actually stay? Dinosaurs might actually second think their choices if your covered in healed scars and have won many battles.
hey can u guys buff paras kick? its not effective,has a crappy hit box and has this cooldown period that leaves para stationery and stuck. a lone cera can assride a para even with alt turn since its slow and the kick doesn't help at all
i suggest fixing its hit box and making its animation faster,perhaps even a dmg buff to 700 something and buffing its turn/alt turn.
Idea for a more funner movement system than pressing a button to turn: Remove the alt key/reserve it for some dino specific mechanic and replace it with the ability to turn in place with the A and D keys, as well as the S key to walk backwards. You can make the turning and backwalking as slow as needed, but coupled together they become much more useful. Think world of tanks style movement. Big/certain things turn very slowly with A and D, while coupling the turn keys with backwards movement makes a fluid direction change. Smaller things have the benefit of being able to pivot more fluidly as well.
Suggestion: make velo playable in survival even if it doesn't have patterns or growth stages it would just be fun running through the under brush and posing a threat to nest amd with the update coming out whenever it does velo will be able to get into burrows and that be another level of fun.
An easy way to respawn yourself at a new spawn location after you've just spawned.
Make it easier for a parasaur to hit smaller targets. To hit a Utah as an adult para, you need to punch or walk-and-headbutt. I think para just need a full body animation for it's headbutt attack, so it can get it's hit box down low to defend itself from utahs.

To combat the issue of herbivores, I think it would be neat to be able to spawn in with other herbivores, or at least your own species of herbivore. That way you are already together, have a chance to grow without worrying about traveling insane distances across the map to reach each other, and it's easier to form herds (which would be so cool to see!) I know that nesting is here for that purpose as well, but it is not always plausible to nest if you are on the move or in an unsafe area, or simply have nobody willing to nest you.
This was already suggested but ill reenforce it one more time..try to cap the number of players to 150/200.

A mechanic called “infectious wounds”, where all inuuries have a slight chance of infection, prolonging their heal time and causing death to small animals if severe enough. Dinosaurus like dilo would have a 20% chance and cera would have a 50% chance per bite (meaning that it’s pretty likely you’ll get an infection from a cera bite)
- Sniffing while crouching
- Sniffing in the rain (atleast, make it show the compass for north, east, south, etc. not tracks or food though)
- Being able to group with opposite species ONLY if they’re friends on steam (idk, I feel like this would be helpful for servers with ‘no rules’)
- Mating calls, so you don’t have to just scrounge through tab for a random player and just roar instead

Smaller dinosaurs would be nice as scavengers, and hunters for smaller prey. Such as the compsugnathus, the archeoterix, the Mussaurus, and maybe even the Coelophysis. I just really want tiny dinos too annoy people.

Maybe austros or even herras could go down dryo burrows. And velos can go down taco burrows. Though they cannot make their own.
Sorry for my bad translation. My suggestion is that by fighting with other dinosaurs and being very close to death and surviving, you would have a permanent scar in that game. But if you suffer many battles and the same thing happens, only a maximum of 3 scars.
Not sure if this was already suggested but being able to smell bodies like you would gore. It makes sense since the bodies show bleeding injuries. This would be helpful if a player died in the trees and you weren't able to see them otherwise. I know they usually leave a blood trail, but it would be nice to know they actually died and didn't just combat log.
Another suggestion would be to possibly change the nest invite window to a different color, so you don't auto click accept thinking its a group invite. I know you can decline/block, but I think it would just be easier to make the popup window a notably different color than the group invite window.

Seeing Carnivores get tons of work and lots of rebalancing, we need more herbivore variety, instead of just Trikes. It would be nice if herbivores can cross species group once more, seeing as which they were known to herd together. Also add in more of the apex herbivores such as Anky, Stego and Cam. 😛

Velociraptor or Herrerasaurus being able to dig into Dryo/Taco burrows to have a sense of danger
This sort of invasion would make both Velo and Herrera more viable and dangerous, giving them a niche in the ecosystem
Make it so Dryp Burroughs are permanent and dryos can dig but when they start digging their stamina drains quickly. So Dryos can build tunnels connecting eachother eventually.
I suggest these dinos should be equal in fight rolemodel and feeding, | 1 Rex = 2 Giga = 4 Carno = 3 Allo = 2 Cera = 5 Raptors = 6 Dilo (I suggest in birth food consumption on ragdoll meat/ carcasses should be tested til raptors/ dilos feed their juvies without difficulty but when they have 6 adults they slightly struggle. Apexes can have large amounts of babies, 3-5 juvies, but struggle if they have more than 3 Sub adults & if you are two apexes you must rely on medium/ large dino to share each meal. Medium dinos (Carno, Cera, Allo) should without difficulty feed 4-6 juveniles, and rely on medium to light-medium dinoes (dilo, raptor size) with slight struggle when they are above 3. My calculations of vision is that babies-juvenile stage for all predators will be capable for people that are more than 4 friends to have a fun growth towards late juvenile and for 4 friends too have a moderate difficulty "fun" game at late juvenile to adult game, 4 friends to have a fun difficult game unless playing to less restriction difficulty variation of dinosaurs at adult stage. Food consumption, cooldown loss and time to consume makes the core difference of structuring what the premade groups are capable of playing. Water consumption and water cooldown is the core structure of determining migration and chances of dinosaurs of all stages and types to "accidently" cross eachothers path more frequently or less.
I suggest in the distant future in which Aku reigns these dinos should be added, Megalania a giant ass 26ft monitor lizard ancestor which probably lived as modern day komodo's do, eating everything that moves including their own kind, biting big ass things and watching them die of infection and gathering up for a feeding frenzy then migrating across seas from island to island because they don't give a shit. Testudo Atlas, huge ass land tortoise 8ft long 6ft high, mighta ate grass/fruit or some shit, not much else to say there, but getting bit by turtles hurts like hell and going into a shell and laughing at a starving rex would be hilarious. Elasmosaurus which could be a 46ft spooky ai bastard at the beach that can give fresh spawns a bad time by snaking their heads out of the water onto the shore and dragging them under they are said to breath air so instead of a stamina meter just have em bob their heads out of the water every now and then, maybe do a spooky call when they do it. Archaeopteryx 14in long raptor which could probably fly/glide short distances, it was an insect eater and could be a fun AI for juvis to try and catch, they could have set spawns by rivers/ponds where them butterflies/dragonflies are at. Lastly just delete the Camarasaurus and put Amargasaurus into the game, its a 33ft vegetarian dragon without wings, had 2 rows of spines growing up from its backbone, cool as hell. Got all these from a dino book I got from the Montana dinosaur museum when I was like 6, shits mad old.
Herbivores need some love. Para can't even properly fight all the mid-tiers and one of the worst stam regens, diablo can get outrun by apexes, pachy has horrible bleed resist and can't even swim without possibly drowning and trike is just food for apexes at this point
Para: No clue why you nerfed para so badly, only reason i can think of is preds didn't like having to fight for their food. Before when i saw an allo pack i knew i was dead, sure i could 2 kick them but that attack was predictable, slow and required you to remain stationary letting them go behind you and bite, i usually killed one silly one that tried going in from the front but the rest obviously dealt with paras before. After i lost all my stam from kicking, combined with the terrible bleed regen i died. The changes with para were unnecessary and people even said it was one of the most balanced herbis, but even after it got buffed slightly after the nerf its still quite bad and even carnos can kill one. And i have i don't understand why para has such bad stam regen. If you don't like it attacking preds, just lower its bleed regen/resist to deter it from doing so unless it truly has to.
Diablo: My only problem with it is its ferocious appetite and the fact it can't outrun apexes. Seriously, dibble has to eat quite often which is weird considering the position its in.
Pachy: Basically a worse maia, both 3 shot dilos/utahs but pachy can't even survive a few bites from them because of their bleed. Other problems with it are its crazy appetite too and it losing so much stam while swimming which doesn't make sense.
Trike: Trike can't defend itself against apexes, the bleed resist buff didn't help at all with it. Maybe increase its stomp damage because it actually has to plan that attack, making it possible for the apexes and trike.
Another sad part is their growth times.

Pachy: 2hrs 10mins
Maia: 1hr 50mins which is fair
Trike: 6hrs
I apologise if this has been suggested but I could find it in s brief search, but with all the hubbub of water glitching I've come across - would it be possible to make resting in water for certain dinos not available - like with nesting on certain terrain, if you try it brings up a message 'you cannot rest here'

When the regional attack will be implemented, i'd like to see a dismemberment system added.
For example Tear off the tails, or other parts of the body.
Certain dinosaurs that are known to live in packs/flocks/herds (like dryo, galli, maya and such) should have the option to choose to spawn near other players of the same species. This could probably be limited to lower tier dinos, cuz in the case of utahs I could see that being exploited in a very bad way, and that is coming from a player who mains in utah.
@hidden quail Adding onto your suggestion, perhaps when the dinosaur is more than heel-deep, they aren't able to sit in water (you literally cannot press h until you are out on dry land). This would only be for land dinosaurs, but Sucho could lay as usual.
Reduce rex adult pack limit to 2 adults. Dont care how many subs they have. But 2 adults should be max. Hopefully that might encourage rex packs to fight each other more often. On eu2 there are usually around 4 packs of 5 adult rex wandering around or camping utah rock. They dont fight each other and just go for the weaker dinos that cant realitically do any damage back. This very quickly kills the population of the server. We go from being a 100/100 server for about an hour at peak times down to 12 players a few hours later once all the rexs finish killing everyone off. When you spend a few hours growing your dino and playing with your group of friends jsut to get rolled over by 5 rexs it kills your motivation to stick around, everyone logs off or switches servers. Something needs to be done.

This is how balancing feels rn. If u plan to fix night, dilo needs no more tunning. Apexes neither, just a hunger retouch. Buff trike turning. And thats it. For spawning point theres already a nesting system. For those stupid 1vs1 hypothetical battles theres herds and packs meta. The game felt more balanced a few patches ago, but is still ok, lets move ahead plz. It's pretty redundant having to read the same Rex vs giga cringy hypothesis over and over every week.

Herbivores should be able to eat more kinds of plants, like e.g., all bushes. This would help with map roaming in order to stay safe from predators at least in early stages, and make the whole map more playable. Also I suggested once (now i repeat) to make herbis able to smell food during the rain. It would make sense since their aroma gets stronger when they are wet :).
On top of all that, I think tryke is right now a punching bag. He hardly can kill one apex if he knows how to play, it's movement speed promotes stationary defending against enemies, but with his base damage without the bleed, you are probably going to lose a 6 hour worth of your time dinosaur because you cant chase and finish killing anyone, and if a rex breaks your bone youre donezo.

Trike buff. This buff will make it so if a Rex/Giga runs thro it to trade hits they ends up loosing 1/4 of its Health, meaning hunters would have to try to evade the stomp or risk loosing the fight.

- Illnesses and or diseases that can be spread. For example: a dinosaur catches a cold, ‘sneezes’ [I think it would just be standing next to] on another dinosaur, and that dinosaur catches it too. It would also be awesome to see a sickly rex with white foam coming from its mouth (sorry for the imagery, oof)
- Maybe more accurate AI? Like, avaceratops herding, velociraptors packing, etc.
- Maybe some dinosaurs should have better scent than others. Tyrannosaurus rex had a great sniffer, and was really good at tracking things.
- An alternate to the ‘carrying’ food idea, maybe if prey is too big, dragging it backwards?
- If we’re adding in humans, maybe the humans could have like...hunting dogs? Does that sound...right? I dunno, but I think it would be bada$$ seeing a pack of hunting dogs take on a small family of utahs

Fix the nesting in sandbox where as soon as someone (who isn’t a survival dino) gets nested, they’re model is sized as an adult dino with hatchling calls until they relog. Also the ability to grow from hatchling to juvie and so on in sandbox so we don’t have to respawn and travel all the way back. Idk. It annoys me. I like nesting babies and I don’t have the patience for my baby to respawn for the sake of roleplay.

i feel like there are several things wrong with para atm, its playstyle feels like a slower mai instead of the psuedo-apex ot used to be. its more of a impala rather than a moose/sable antelope its kick is kinda garbage and isn't reliable,give it a lingering hitbox. and also i read a suggestion from funsu that suggested to shift some power of his headbutt to his his kick which i agree with. it would be beneficial and would make para more intresting than the current mai wannabe it is. para should be rewarded for standing its own ground against allos like how sable antelope/oryx stand there ground against pairs or triplets of lions. honestly i have no idea why para was nerfed so hard, i guess it sounds broken how it could 2 shot allos but that was just its kick which was/still is stationery and has a slow animation giving preds time to get u from behind. also para painfully loses to lone ceras because of its alt being slow enough for the ceras to back off when it starts to alt to them also his stationery makes him very vulnerable to quick ass riding. i have my own suggestion too
buff paras weight to 4k and nerf his headbutt to 150 if moving that is. paras headbutt would be able to deal 250 dmg if it stands its own ground, and buff his kick to 700-750dmg. hope fully this would make it so para can 3 shot allos if it stands its ground against its harassers, im pretty sure all of the midtiers/small tiers can escape paras if they decide to give up on a hunt with an ambush. if the paras decide to chase them, plus the playstyle i suggested would make it not effective to chase predators but to stand its own ground against mid tiers and flee from organized 6 man allo packs or apexes basically.
The juvie trike need a softer sound for when sitting down I think, I feel it's kinda making too much sound and is a bit loud.

I know this is outdated and sucho got speed buffs. I'm only going to focus on allo and cerato, right now.
I am going to suggest 3 things:
Increase Allo's base speed from 930 cm/s (33.48 km/h) to 975 cm/s (35.1 km/h) to have a chance against a non-ambushing adult rex. Because we increased the base speed, decrease the ambush multiplier from 1.3, to 1.25, which gives us around the same ambush speed as before the base speed change. Finally, decrease the ambush duration from 12 seconds to 9 seconds.
Increase Para's base speed to 1000 cm/s (36 km/h.)
Increase Cerato's ambush multiplier to 1.2x, up from the abysmal 1.1x, for a maximum of 1220.4 cm/s (43.9344 km/h) This is plenty enough to catch a non-ambushing dilo and zip away from the newly-buffed allo's run... and even nip its butt and turn away.
Give juvi allo a slight speed buff and reduce the sound they make when eating.

I cannot post all of this in one post because of the 2000 character limit, so I will be splitting each of my reasons in a separate post so everyone can react to each suggestion.

And let's be honest, being able to harass non-ambushing Dilos, Ceratos, and even Utahs, is a bit too OP for the second-heaviest mid-tier in the game at nearly 3 tons with a very fast bite that deals 300 damage and 20 bleed.
Increase Para's base speed to 1000 cm/s (36 km/h.)
What this does: Para's new speed will outpace our new Allo base speed and almost outpace Cerato base speed. It is pretty much a happy medium between Allo and Dilo speed and does not give us any problems with Paras running down Dilos and Ceratos. Also, it will give Para a reason to have fast apex-sounding foot stomps that sound like an adult rex ambushing you.
Increase Cerato's ambush multiplier to 1.2, up from 1.1, for a maximum of 1220.4 cm/s (43.9344 km/h)
What this does: Ambushing Ceratosaurus would just barely be able to out-ambush an ambushing Allosaurus and would now be able to comfortably hunt: Dryo, Pachy, and Maia, along with Dilo and Utah, which it previously could ambush but could not catch. It also still cannot catch Galli or Carno, but it can still most definitely juke the bull. People have been asking for a Cerato ambush buff for a while now because Allos easily catch them with their own ambush and Cerato ties along with Dilo for the worst ambush multiplier of all the survival carnivores, which brings me to Dilo.
Dilo needs a massive ambush multiplier buff, from 1.1, to 1.25, for a maximum speed of 1350 cm/s (48.6 km/h).
What this does: Ambushing Dilophosaurus would be off-the-menu for everything except Rex at point-blank, Carnotaurus, and ambushing Utahraptor, given he hits same speed as Galli in ambush. Realistically, this does not let you catch a Galli, but moving at same speed would help it escape Maiasaura charges and ambush a Utahraptor.
Also, for the love of all that is holy, as the most requested balance change as of late, can Dilo PLEASE have a better turn radius? I cannot understand why a bleeder, whose function is to be a silent assassin, hit, and run, has an incredibly loud bite, relatively high damage, and horrible turn. Part of the hit and run is to dodge an incoming attack, but it cannot do that with its horrendous turn.
Suggestion for a balance fix on the Rex.
The problem with the old rex speed was that his ambush was bad and it was basically useless to hunt. This should fix that problem but keep it from having such an easy time.
In addition you will never be able to hunt a Rex while its faster and it overpowers you (unless you're an apex aswell) . This keeps their numbers high....

I recently killed something, and then had to go to a river to drink water. I lost myself in the process and couldnt make my way back to the corpse to consume it.
What if we could spend a percentage of our water to pee in a location. This "piss" could be traced back easily by our sniffing (and the pee smell stays there for a while), allowing us to mark locations.
Would love for the bone break icon to also appear on the HUD same as the bleed icon does, that way you don't have to keep checking your character screen while waiting for a heal.
Maybe when sniffing, if you see tracks of your same species they could be pink or blue (for male or female) and if you were near your own species and sniffed, they would have a pink or blue aura? It’s very agitating to figure out someones dinosaur gender (especially if you nested them as a hatchling) when its dark, or they’re a baby.
I’m not sure if this has been addressed but the apex hit box is very small when attacking one and when an apex is attacking you your whole body is a hit box. My friends and I experimented on it and a rex has to be a little close to kill something but we can’t attack their head or tail and have to be right on top of them.
how about a map on the menu that is filled out as you walk around and actually discover stuff? It can reset every time you die but it will encourage exploration
or getting some special perks at certain locations, when strains and stats are implemented already
Could dryo adult be a wee bit faster than the juvie? They are same speed from start to finish. Maybe 43, utah would still be .2kmh faster, but gives a better chance of getting away(if not ambushed) - Carno is obviously too fast for dryo 😃

Context: This suggestion is meant to support my previous suggestion of making velo playable in survival. Suggestion: supporting the idea to make velociraptor playable. The velociraptor would be a retardedly fun dino to play as having a bunch of the little guys scampering about would be hilarious watching them troll bigger dinos but on to the serious point, as all dinos in survival have a niche velo's niche would come right out of its name "Swift Thief" it would pose the same role it would have most likely would take in real life, an egg stealer. Velos eating eggs would actually serve a purpose as opposed to just preventing someone from furthering their species ans being a troll. The eggs would grant certain buffs such as decreased stamina use and improved speed for a speedy way to escape from its victim but only for a certain amount of time and not to mention the tremendous hunger gain it would receive after eating an egg. This would also pose an actual threat to parenting dinos in fear of having a small and sly velo easily sneak in and snatch their offspring. As to how it would steal eggs it wouldn't be as simple as going up to a nest and pressing E you would go up to it and acsess the nest and choose the take food option and then would play a little animation so the parents have time to react and then the egg would be gone. The velo should also receive a damage buff due to it not being able to kill things that are smaller than it and a health buff to about 50 to 100 health due to it being one shot by oros and the damage buff would be somewhere around 10 to 15 damage to better hold its own in a fight and speaking of fights it would need a slight speed buff to give it the edge over juvis because they catch it with no problem I know from experience. Make a ramp or erase raptor rock from the map...i see alot of carebears and afk growing players there. And that spot is a main pvp spot cause of the huge amount of raptors that are there just sitting and making big amounts of AI spawn, so whats the fun in that? Make them spread out so that theres pvp everywhere and not only focused on that stupid rock.
I feel like herbivores should have a little bit of an advantage now that carnivores have ambush. When herbivores are being sprinted at [only if the carnivore is ambushing] they should have this little panick meter, giving them a boost of speed to try and escape. This little ‘boost’ will last for about 5-10 seconds, and then stamina on the herbivore will start to drain (since this short boost causes stam to not decrease as it is activated.)
I think it would be fit for para, galli, dryo, diablo, maybe pachy. Trike, shant, and bigger more powerful herbivores would probably have this, but the boost wouldn’t do much speed because they’re more of a stand-and-fight type of dinosaur.

And maybe when a herbivore is nipped, the panick meter also rises. Especially if the biting is close to the herbivore
I suggest a medium dinosaur with high bite, avarage weigh but very short stamina and good ambush speed - its going to be useless in open terrain but in heavy woodland its perfect, its also a perfect spot for slow creep ambushes / trying to get close with in the shiftsprint range to catch a dino that would otherwize right before range notice it and run away in a open terrain scenario. This dino should mostly only fear Sucho, Giga and Trex in woodland. Size between Allo and Cera?

Decrease the growth time of Pachy. Pretty good experience playing as one, but more than 2 hour growth for a low tier herbivore is a bit much. Probably decrease it around 80-90 minutes.

I hava a suggestion about para too make it feels diferent and not just a big and slower maia and at the same time giving a (kinda) unique niche.
I suggest that para could have a faster swimming speed(faster than everithing but sucho) but let para swiming stam draining as it is now, this way paras would be able to scape from predators by crossing a river but dont let the para live in the water making para a good swimmer but no an aquatic dino.
I suggest this due to the fact(?) that some hadrosaurs used this strategy as scape way (including para but excluding maia in this "some") and this way para could have a better life without buffing its damage
Im playing this game for quite some time now and logically i have a bunch of hours in it, so im gonna make a bunch of suggestions according to my opinion about the game at its current stage, its concept and what i think that could be added/improved for a better and more fun experience. Ppl need to understand that clearly liking the ideas or not and if someone agrees or disagrees or have better ideas i would like to ear them.
1st things 1st im in love with this game and its concept since i 1st discovered and bought it on Steam, in my opinion it has the potential to be the best survival of todays age, experience 1st hand how dinos lived in that era is quite interesting and appealing..but...i must say that for the last few times that ive been playing it i couldnt stay ingame more than 1h, its becoming boring and tasteless...theres to many reasons, unbalance regarding grouping on this game and the struggle to be solo, common species plaguing the servers (Rex/Giganosauros) lack of content, lack of ppl all around the map, lack of diversity regarding dinos and playstyles (to me they are all the same except for Suchomimus and thats because he is semi-aquatic and even him is useless right now cause theres nothing for him to do), lack of interactivity between players (humans are social beings and we like to do stuff together), etc..to be honest i felt the need of playing dayZ again which is unfortunate, has a player from this community that play this game everyday this is how i feel about it right now.
What can i suggest to improve the game? By order, 1st fix the code (which i suppose the devs are doing right now), theres to many glitches when going into the forest and players get stuck in small rocks even smaller then the dinos toes, 2nd theres a huge struggle to group in this game players should be able to see what species other players are playing in order to invite them to a party and i would suggest adding a whisper option so that players can group up more easily, 3rd make pack limits into the game for all dinos specially for Apex carnivores like Rex and Giganosauros, its clear that players are plaguing the servers with it and thats one strong reason to why this game is starting to be boring, everyone wants to be the big bad wolf and no one wants to be sheeps, leave the Triceratops has they are now and let herds group to but add a limit, i see to many streamers plaguing servers with 20+ herbivores and thats a third of the server in just one spot.
4th prioritize the implementation of the affinity system, i think that dinos should feel needs, make dinos afk growing move and look for other players of the same size or smaller to hunt or they will get debuffs, buffs for solo players roaming around and growing, debuffs for herbivores near corpses, debuffs to smaller dinos near bigger predators so that will force them to get away from there or risk being killed (like fear), idk, theres to many things you guys can do with it and one of the developers already have some ideas and good ones. Add collision and local damage to change the lame way the combat is right now.
5th, add more diversity and playstyles into the game, raptors should have pounce, trikes should have pierce and cripple, infection wounds from the bleeder dinos like Dilophosauros, Pachy should have bone break at 30/40% at least, add Deinosuchus or other aquatic dinos, more rivers and lakes with fish to give the aquatic dinos stuff to do and add humans, i 1st bought this game cause it was gonna be humans in the dinos environment and humans are a totaly diferent playstyle, the thrills of playing has a human in the isle are truly appealing and certainly will make the game way more fun.
and to finish of i would like to see the AI fight back against Juveniles its ridiculous to see an tiny little raptor killing an Ava in more than 20 bites and the only thing that the AI can do is just run away when it could stomp that player. Add mid tier carnivores and big ones to be AIs, extremely aggressive...right now its a walk in the park to roam around and not face the consequences of finding some AI that can crush you to pieces...most of the players are always hiding and adding something like that would make them move from one location to another in order to survive it would add fear and would make this game clearly an hardcore survival game.
Oh btw, raise the player cap per server to 200, the map is huge for so few ppl. Pardon me for the long text but i felt that i should comment on those topics for the future of the game, i want to play this game without getting bored and look for another game that makes my time worth it.
Add a short description of each dinosaurs key advantages in the selection screen with a grow time.
You can put an "easy/medieum/hard" or a tier ranking with each dino so new players might think about jumping straight into an apex and complaining when they can't reach adult because they had no idea what they were getting into
Faeces implementation and it’s uses
So I was wondering if it be would possible that the game could implement a system involving making use of faeces. The idea is to let players mark their territories while adding benefits and disadvantages for both carnivores and herbivores.
In general, faeces would come in different sizes and appear in different colours according to their host’s diet under tracking mode when a player sniffs.
This would let herbivores avoid predator territories and allow hunters to locate their prey in a more generic location while only providing minimum informations. Which could lead to tactics like bluffing about the size of the pack you are in and such ectectect.
However this would not be exactly a fun change to the isle as it is already hard enough, so here’s an extension of my idea to spice things up a little.
Except for only being as a mark indicator, faeces would also attract AI in a balanced way.
For herbivores, a herbivore dropping would attract AI carnivores, this wouldn’t just increase the danger for the herbivore players but in fact protects them. Since the hunters will now have to watch out for AI predators that might interfere with their hunt or even being hurt or killed by an AI predator.
As for carnivores, their faeces would enhance the chances of herbivore food spawning. Not only attracting bigger and more AI plant eating dinos but also more meat eating players. Increasing both danger and benefits.
Now at this point, the game would have distinctive play styles between different species or even different packs in the same species.

Speed up healing across the board for all dinos. As an example I just took an Allo bite whilst playing an Utah. It took 5 mins to clear the bleed. Then a further 45 minutes to fully heal (sat down the entire time). Thats 50mins where I cant actually the play the game. The pace of the game is already very slow. Having to spend 45mins between fights healng is tedious and boring. Especially when you only play a couple of hours a night, most of that time is spent sat in a bush healing wounds. I don't know what an acceptable healing rate would be, I understand it should take a while to prevent people healing in combat, but 45mins is kind of harsh. Just a note i'm not saying to speed up healing for Utah only, but generally for all dinos to increase the pace of the game.

New bleed healing/ healing type/mechanic
- Most of the time you can only use the "rest" healing, when the fight is already over. Gameplay wise the best thing if you don't need to wait hours or half an hour to engage in a fight again.
Just increasing the resting bleed heal/heal is not problem solving because people could use it when it's a pack against a solo. That's why you guys could introduce an interesting new healing mechanic.
** While resting, your bleed healing/healing gets better over time**
- First off it's better than just increasing the bleed heal/hp heal with a lot because it's not really abuseable while you are in combat.
- It would give the game "boring" or not interesting half a faster pace, wich is healing.

Allosaurus Pack vs Stegosaurus
One of the allos get's a hit in middle fight, most of the time in packs people who got hurt are going away and rest for a bit [25sec-1min]
But since the new bleed heal/hp regen will activate only over time [ 2-3 minutes sitting in one place] they can't abuse it to heal faster.
And when they out of combat they are able to heal up sooner and you don't need to heal for hours to engage again just like how @burnt cave said.
Example with the new heal mechanic:
Allo base heal [15 bleed/ 100hp] while resting
2 Minutes after resting : 16 bleed/120hp
3 minutes after resting : 17 lbeed / 140hp
trike giga and rex max group 2 adult 1 sub
buff the speed on giga nothing else only speed i like the health and damage it makes it so it cant face tank a rex but that means that if it cant outrun or outtrot the rex the rex can hunt the giga till it kills it or decides to give up because it outtrots it but only the speed and just so its a tiny ammount faster not much at all thats all

Honestly? remove bonebreak from rex until the mechanic is reworked/fixed. Balancing a dino while taking into account an admittedly broken mechanic is nonsensical. With Rex's latest buffs, there is no way to justify it "needing" it. I can see no reason why if it was removed from all other dinos, Rex be allowed to keep it. Especially now. It is an RNG-based "I win" button in it's current state on an already powerful dino. It has to go.
Allow Oro and Taco to make a nest, playing as those could be a pretty fun challenge to get across the map to herbivore friends 😄
Buff Ceratos fall damage resistance. They currently break legs running over boulders and logs that are on slight inclines. They are only 100kg heavier than a Carno who can fall from significantly higher without a leg break. I regularly play in packs of Ceras and someone in the pack breaks a leg every 30 minutes and it's always over something frustrating like a small boulder.

Slow down Sub Adult Rex - increase its bite and weight towards mid/late stage. Increase allo speed slightly, decrease its stamina pool. Increase a little bit weigh onto Cera, increase bite on Carno, Keep Giga, increase speed on Dilo, leave Raptor til collision is added. - Add a new dinosaur that has high bite, high weight but is very slow but very fast ambush speed (with very low stamina pool) at its adult stage / that is similiar to current sub adult rex.
Create collectables that dinosaurs can pick up, maybe. Rare for those kinds of players that are collectable such. Preferable gemstones and samples of marble or something. Dinosaurs could be like birds today and pick up stuff and put it in a burrow/nest because "OO shiny", and they would act as a form of trade or currency once humans are implemented. Imagine a dryo sitting in its ting burrow hoarde like a tiny dragon.

Along with a bleed resist buff, Cera should also have a slight ambush speed increase. It’s kind of silly how slow it is especially when considering that even its’ own JUVIE cerato ambush is faster than its’ adult version.

Updated the Herrerasarus document, i've kept the best parts of the previous Herrersaurus document and added onto it. I also decided to update the document with additional mechanic proposals based off of recent information gathered from the Ask-a-dev Q&A's.
To make nesting a little more fun/challenging, encourage Velociraptor AI to spawn in near proximity to placed nests.
Minor suggestion (I don't know if this has been made before) ; In the colour pattern selection for Herbis and Carnis, randomized button would be radical.
major/minor suggestion for sandbox (and survival at some point?) increase the swim speed and swim stamina of creatures like sucho,spino and baronyx. these creatures were notoriosly fisheaters so may have swam for island to island looking for bigger carion. just asking to add realism.

First, Orodromeus is the only dinosaur in the game to burrow, so it should be able to burrow instead of Psittacosaurus. Dryosaurus can still burrow, though, since it's similar to Orodromeus and is the only burrowing dinosaur in survival. Secondly, at least add humans to sandbox, I can't stand the wait to screw around as a mercenary and only shoot down carnivores to make it safer for herbivores and to play The Escape much longer... some personal recommendations for surviving as a human is to add raspberry (or some other berry, but I love raspberries lol) bushes or to simply make humans able to collect raspberries from herbivore food bushes to eat and canteens to store water to drink in that are already in the player's inventory when spawned until being able to be crafted or found. Additionally, AI dinosaurs should be much rarer and carnivore growth should be slowed down to make carnivores more balanced with herbivores.
When you guys remake spino, if you end up remaking the sounds.. please still have it scream like it does. I love it.

AI spawns should be determined by how much food they give
Psittacosaurus - spawns 50% of the time and gives little food
Orodromeus - spawns 35% of the time and gives average food
Avaceratops - Spawns 15% of the time and gives a decent amount of food.
If the player enters the game and someone already has a nest of the kind that the new player wants to play, it directs him to a window of choice in which he must choose whether to be born from that available nest or the way he is currently small and alone randomly in the map.
if he chooses to be born from the nest a menu with the possible colors for his skin (based on the colors of the mother and father) would appear in that case in the nest system to link the parent so that the available color options would be a sum of possible colors among the parents of the new dinosaur.
I feel like there should be some kind of insentive to run around and do thing as a juvie/sub adult instead of hiding in a bush or a tree like a growth boost for killing outher dinos or a stat boost, things like that.
This is regarding the flying creatures in the future, if they are intended to be playable, and if they will have an intended diet of more than possibly fish:
I imagine using scent will be of little good to a creature that's in such high altitudes, unless the creature feeds on carrion more than live prey, such as today's vultures, buzzards, etc. (And if this is the intention, then you may disregard my suggestion!) Unless the glowing footprints are obvious from way up in the air, I feel like it would help little in locating food. I would like to suggest that its most effective sense would be sight: Perhaps allow a feature that that let's players switch to a first-person point of view for the creature, and then the ability to zoom in and out.
I think the pteradon shouldn’t have night vision. Why?:
It flies. It blemmin flies. What does that have to do with night vision you say? Well, there’s alot of clouds and fog at night, so it wouldn’t help much. I think the fliers would be much more suitable with thermal vision, being able to see some stuff from the sky enough so that it doesn’t suck playing as one. Thermal would also help being able to find water. It would be visibly moving with the heat rays shimmering. Meanwhile, if pteradon had night vision, it would never be able to see a thing from the sky, no matter HOW good it’s night vision is, because night vision is either green+black or black+white+grey.

Back in the day when plants were "one and done," herbivores would basically go out and graze (as opposed to how they currently congregate around a bush). A new edible plant similar to the swamp ferns we have right now could be used to populated forests and fields. It should be lower in nutrition, but far more abundant. This could finally bring back the good old days of grazing herds.
Instead of limiting the color palette, just make it so that the same color can't be used on multiple body slots. Ridiculous-looking skins will never be totally impossible, but this will at least prevent the return of solid-black dinosaurs if/when the color palette is expanded again.
Maybe other crocodilians, such as thoracosarus? it would be cool to see some other of steve irwin's ancient pals alongside deinosuchus.
Can we at least have the dryo color palette universally accessible for all carnivores? Dilo has it... Can the rest of the carnivores have it?

Is there any possible way to have a Draw Distance option for player models? Not asking for the whole map away, but if you're on a cliffside looking down a plateau it's rough watching a dino disappear when it's not too far away. (Mostly for mid-tier+ ---- as smaller dinos would obviously be hard to see at range)

AIGHT. So, for awhile people have been asking for a change up in dinosaur combat, ass riding, and running through your foe and prey have gotten, boring, fights should be action packed! Dangerous and exciting! So... that’s why I’m making this post! A post for better and more immersive hunting, and for this post my examples will revolve around three dinosaurs, the Maia, Cama and everyone’s favorite created boi, the allosaurus. Ever since the third wave allosaurus came out, and we saw its amazing, and unique ambush run, with his(or her’s) class extended out! Reaching for its prey, as it hungrily closes in! People speculated, could this be the beginning of a new grabbing mechanic??
They were wrong lol. But, I believe, that given the time those mechanics can be developed, adding more physical and immersive attacks and hunting strategies into the game, one such example being, an allo stalking a Maia. The allo, hidden in the grass with its camo, stalks up behind the Maia, who is grazing, unaware of its foe, until the allo bursts from the brush. Usually the allo would get some bites in, and get Maia spoof book it, most likely escaping mad hiding to heal off the bleed and be long gone, but with my suggestion, the allo could grapple the Maia, grabbing onto its hind quarters and delivering a series of hatchet like bites, dealing strong bleed. The maia(depending on age, and health) won’t be defenseless, as it can shake the allo off. The allo’s grappling would drain a lot of stamina quickly so if can’t latch for awhile, and will have to detach from the Maia, so it can chase its bleeding quarry.
Part two) Now, with the recent adapting of the camara, it’s new, and amazing run animation, and new stats, a few peoples have thought this could be the first sauropod in survival, or sauropod AI at least... and for this, I have thought of quite the hunt. A pack of allo’s, six in total surround an old bull Cama, who bellows and stomps at the smaller foes, before breaking out into a run, to which the allo’s follow. The chase close to it, and when the hey close enough, they can grab onto the camas side, jumping onto it and clawing at its side, dealing bleed damage, but if they hold on to long, or aren’t careful wtby could be trampled by the heavy Titan, either crippling them, or killing them. Well, that’s all I have to suggest for now- it’s not to detailed and it isn’t, a perfect suggestion but I feel like the game needs something more than biting and hoping you get the first bite in... anyway, hope y’all like the suggestion!
Make the Giga & T-rex more scientifically correct, where as the bite force isn't as significantly different as 500, it was more of like 100-200 less, favoring the Rex still. Also the T-rex wasn't faster. It was a lot slower. It sounds insane, but the rex already has bone break so even if Gigas are able to run faster, as long as you get that chomp in it is still more than likely done for. Also Cama trample damage is insane pls nerf.
I'd like to suggest using the alt-fire mechanic to potentially be able to pick up hatchlings for Utah's. As well as for potentially other smaller dinos. Gallimimus, allo, dilo, etc. Not sure if that's been said before

Nesting features that favours herbivores more
Wouldn’t it be cool if there is a more advantage to being hatched rather than just spawning in a juv so you saving the walk and wait and extra half and hour??? I mean it’s fine and pretty balance between the time consumption and risk a player is taking, but it gets really old after a while.
So my suggestion is as followed :
Nesting requires a pair of dedicated (invite like groups??or smthing) male and female, and they would provide a growth bonus to all their hatchings when within both of their “buff” radius, at a cost of increase in food consumption to both parents and the children.
My idea is to let apex carnivores to only be able to rise 1-2 kids at the same time, as they have to constantly look for food WITH their kids instead of camping Ava’s and wait for 7hrs.
So it would be something like this: (Just a wide guess for the numbers)
**Apex Carnivores **, +50% growth and 75% food consumption to hatchlings until subs stage, but also +75% food consumption for parents per hatchlings in the vicinity. Small/medium buff radius.
**Apex herbivores **, +70% growth and 100% food consumption to hatchlings until subs stage, but also +80% food consumption for parents per hatchlings in the vicinity. Medium/large buff radius.
The same numbers are used for herbivores, but the difference is, there are usually more concentrated spawn of food source for herbivores. So they wouldn’t have to constantly wonder the map until the food runs out.
Eventually this would develop into a way more realistic game as the players would be rewarded for acting what dinos would actually do —> Herbs migrates in packs to nesting grounds, and carnis roam around their hunting ground for food. And I think it would also work with my previous 💩 suggestions

Include mutations like albinism and melanism for dinos and have it a feature for nested dinos only. Maybe if you pop out too many babies a day your chances of getting a child that sticks out like a sore thumb get higher.
A modification of the suggestion above, when affinity comes into effect, dinos with severe negative affinity (which would be caused by megapacking and similar things) will have a higher chance of an offspring being hatched albino. Would bee cool if they updated the actual sizes of all the models to the newest most accurate studies we have. For example the user "Franoys" on Deviantart is a very good and accurate source to see lenght, height and weight from many big specimens. Another reliable source is Scott Hartman. They both use GDI to calculate the total mass of each individual from the skeleton constructions. For example the Acrocanthosaurus who is the biggest carnivore in the game, and the Spinosaurus models in The Isle is pretty innacurate size wise. I know Spino is getting a new model and hopefully it's more accurate than the current model.

Highly recommend to look at these two researchers and their studies since they are doing these kind of studies because of science and are not some fanboys that comes up with their own sizes and so on.
Right now T-Rex is listed as 5.8 tons in the game when Adult when in reality most researches today suggests it could reach up to 9 tons. The Giga is listed as 6.4 tons when in reality it could reach around 7 tons. Would be great to see an update in those kind of stats with all animals.
Another thing that would be great to implement would be if the dino growth simply just overlapped with the models. Instead off watching your dino grow several meters in lenght when you go from Sub to Adult it would kind of just grow up like it does. I know it's difficuilt with models and so but it would be cool to see in the future.

Apexes are overpopulated, and every time I see one I lose brain cells. They are so overpopulated because they are currently so easy to grow

-Make oro and taco ai give little food to subs and adults, and make ava ai more rare
-When the affinity comes out, make it so it'll force apexes to stop sitting on their asses in a bush and move around.
About new dinos: add spino, acro but balance him and fix his camera and anky wit bb.

is there any reason of why herbs can't smell while walking? I think they should be able to smell while moving, or reduce the "channeling time" for them
I have a suggestion. Symbiosis. you know how modern crocodiles and some mammals have birds hanging around them picking ticks and food out of there mouth and back? I think it would be cool if you where, say a spinosaur or a t rex, or any kind of carnivore, and when you sit down for awhile. In stead of an idel animation for the hole time your sitting down, I think i'd be cool if your dinosaur would lay down its head opening its mouth and AI birds or AI compies would come and pick the food out of its teeth or get ticks and mites of its back. Same would go for herbivores but instead of lying down, birds could just hang around them. This I think would go really well with the enfinity system too. Also, if dryosaur becomes an AI, the dryosaur AI could alert herbivores if there is a carnivore stalking them. This is just a suggestion .^^
Bone Break
Make it so that bonebreak on Trex has a 80% chance (for his weight) but ONLY if the Rex is in ambush mode when biting.
That would make it more balanced as a mechanic and would reward the Rex for being an ambush predator that he's meant to be.
(Maybe raise his base damage minimally by like 100 for the lack of bonebreak when regular biting, but not necessary)

Perhaps the introduction of illnesses? Certain, non-scavenger dinosaurs eating rotten meat would cause them to become sick (such as very low stam regen, or even slow health decay) or something along those lines. I know water tainted with decaying flesh was a thing at some point (I don't remember if that was a mod or not?).
I know this is kinda how BoB works and i dont even own that game, but i like how they set up nesting were you can see how many eggs there are on the map and what species they belong to. This might be helpful for our game because right now everyone has to ask a 100 times if someone wants an egg or someone is asking to be nested in on discord witch results in spamming invites over and over again. It would be really nice to see the names of the species and the colors the adults are and when you get into the egg you can choose the colors you are going to be yourself, but the gender will still remain a surprise to avoid nesting in to many females. Im making this suggestion, because the skin making system now does that for us and 9 out of 10 times the skins look terrible! Hatchlings are too often just grey, orange or mossy green with no other markings and it would be nice if we can pick the best of both. Overal i think nesting would be more "fun" because theres a bigger chance of people choosing to be nested in (for protection) then growing alone. People also dont need to cross large section of the map to get to friends.
Parasaurolophus shouldn't always be stuck in a bipedal stance while idle, and should be able to change stance by pressing ctrl or z to make it more realistic.
I have heard that the Spinosaurus will be getting a change in it's model and animations at some point in the future (If this is false, then please disregard my suggestion!). I also heard that the new Spino will be given a quadrupedal model and animations. IF this does happen, I would like to suggest that maybe recreate the same type of animations used for the Para and Shant - walking on all fours, and then standing up on hind legs when it trots or walks.
This is only an opinion formed on looking at a couple Spinosaurus skeletons - though I personally believe them to be more bipedal than quadrupedal.

Changed the stats based off of criticism, overall it should be closer matched up to Allosaurus. (I will continue to adjust stats based off of criticisms)
Overall the Dilo really does feel quite good currently. We often see suggestions for it to have a slightly better turn radius or a faster ambush. But another thing that may improve Dilos would be to normalize dinosaurs when viewed in night vision so they are easier to see. Right now some colors appear pitch black and are near impossible to see. But if they were changed to be brighter in general or just for dilos when viewed in night vision they'd have a very clear advantage that would outweigh the issues related to people abusing gamma.
how about wind? making it sniffing stronger if you're pointing at the direction from where it comes, and decreasing it all the way around?
it could also have some interactions with the usage of stamina on flying dinosaurs

Suggestion: Very minor and may not be worth, but the suggestion of adding hovering over bleed/hunger/water makes a small tool tip with the % rather than having to open the character menu. Or a turn off/on option that shows the number on the hud.
As a server admin, it gets very frustrating when a player who has special characters or characters in different languages that aren't on the standard qwerty keyboards is breaking rules and there's no way to use the chat commands on them because you can't type out their names. I know we can kick and ban on the tab menu, and that's useful, but it would be better if we could use commands like the /bring and /goto to solve issues that way.
The suggestion I have is similiar to how you have the asset location and nest location in the character menu, make it so that you can pull up the tab menu and click on a name to copy it. Then you can simply paste it in the chat after the command when you need it. If that won't work, maybe it's possible to allow highlighting of the names so we can copy and paste it that way. Or at least something to that effect.
Let me add on: I know that we can click and copy their SteamID, however when we tried this in-game for a player with chinese lettering in their name, it always said unable to find player and we were unable to make it work
Perhaps, for the stress (or whatever it'll be called) mechanic, they also add a mixed herding buff, within classified herbivore families. 1-2 separate family members (i.e gallimimus and orinthomimus) would be in the game. When you herd with your own species, that's all fine and dandy, cool, protection, yeah. Herding with FAMILY members would give you a buff, varying from creature to creature. (This next bit is theoretical, mostly with the avaceratops being added to survival). Let's say you decide that you want to play a more exciting, fearing life and you choose Avaceratops. You find a few other avaceratops, form a group. Then, you all hit adult miraculously. Then, you hear some aggressive calls, and it's a pair of triceratops! You decide to stick together. The avaceratops would gain a 50-75% bonus stat boost (due to their size) and can hit 1 weight class above for their normal damage, excluding boosts. The triceratops gain a 12.5-25% stat boost, due to their already high stats, yet incentive to hang around, as any boost could be the difference between life and death. (Boosts do not include speed or food/water consumption). This effect would not compound with multiples of the same species (1 ava would give the trike the set % boost), however, this boost would compound with as many different species about as possible (if the trike got a 12.5% boost per different ceratopsian, then 1 ava 1 dibble would give it 25% boost)
Maybe make the Acro's friendly call less dramatic, or at least less threatening compared to the friendly calls of other dinosaurs. For anyone that is not used to their calls, it's friendly almost sounds like a threaten and can be mistaken as a warning.
Carnis can scent while crouching. herbis can scent while walking/trotting. footsteps are slightly quieter when walking due to stepping more slower and more gentle. The stomp for apexes is too loud honestly and too “crashy” just tone down on the grass crunches in the apex step.
Make the rex growth system more smooth. Its weird having a juvie rex with the speed of 36 speed suddenly dropping to a speed below 33. Instead, make the sub rex start off with 33 speed. I feel like it should change 3 times after certain percentages. For example, Once sub rex hits 83-84%, its speed drops to 32 km. and once it hits 87% its speed drops to 31 km. and once it hits 93%, its speed is now 30 km or lower. Keep in mind that this was an example, it probably will be a flawed example. However, I feel like the ambush mulitplier and duration should increase after each stage (Stam should just gradually increase like it already does). I just feel like this concept will help make rex growth feel more smooth.
What if you could choose your spawn out of the preset number of spawns? It gets pretty annoying having to kill myself at the Gulf because my friends spawn at the Port and Mud.
What if we could pick from a quadrant region to spawn in (still relatively random spawn but at least we choose our region so no trips across the entire map)?

Just kidding. For their burrows, it would be great if dryos and tacos could create a warren system, or even just a two-entrance burrow that could house a potential escape path. Another idea is that burrowers could have “cache” spots in the burrow that they can drop food into, just like with a nest.

hey how about flyers making theyre own nests out of sticks and branches that can be found in bushes. that look like birds nests and can be be built on rocks. building a nest should be like building a house in the Forest/green hell, where u make a 3d silhouette first then u grab the materials needed to make to it to finish it one by one.

Mate System: similar in concept to the group system, you can invite someone to be your mate and they can approve or decline the invite like a group invite, also if a mate is selected the female builds a nest and a baby hatches, the baby will have a random assortment of its parents colours, detail 3 might belong to the mother, while detail 1 be the father, or even have it be random where the baby has colours from neither parent!
the option to respawn where / near where you died. ended up getting respawned all the way across the map from the rest of my group and couldnt reunite. just think it would be a nice option.
I do agree with a recent suggestion: It would be nice to be able to choose a region of a map to spawn. Maybe one or 2 per region so that it's still quite randomized depending on how many regions the map is divided into.
Allo's hitbox is kinda wonky, a diablo can hit an allo simply by hitting the tip of its tail, which is nowhere near the rest of the allo, which means that allos can die simply by being bitten a full bodies length away.

Revised the Baryonyx document for a fifth time, this time I believe I have finally found a "niche" for the Baryoynx, instead of being a "bear" like Sucho. My proposed Baryonyx takes the role of a "Jaguar". I have once again enlisted the help of Doctor Nova, Bruce the Xenomorph and The Warm Fridge to provide stats. These stats are just meant to help the reader get a basic idea of how the Baryonyx could function in comparison to other mid-tier carnivores.

Increase allo's health so it's health is about halfway between current allo, and current sucho, and increase juvie allo's growth to adult by 30 minutes to compensate.
This way, allo will take longer to grow and be at higher vulnerability at juvi stage, but will be able to last longer in certain fights in exchange.
either that, or maybe increase bleed resistance?
looking at the tail issue earlier, perhaps the tail on longer dinosaurs could be split into two separate 'hitboxes' where the end half of the tail will not register damage. Instead, being bitten on the end of your tail will slow your movement speed by a couple seconds, a sort of tail grab mechanic?
Not really in game but I think a set of API's accessible by third party apps could be pretty awesome. For the ideas currently in my head, some simple endpoints for getting what a player is (cerato, utah, merc, tribal, etc) and where a player is could be used for some informative and cool applications. A user could generate a key either in game or server or on an official web site and then plug that key into an app that utilized/called that APIs for that specific user. The app could overlay and show the user's movement for a day from spawn/login to death/logout. Then in the app separatly the user could put markers of where they saw a dino, where they killed a dino, where they heard a dino, etc.
This would allow the player to see their habit/what paths they take. This could maybe show where they go wrong or lead to more exciting gameplay as they actively try to take new paths/go different ways. Then even more smarts could happen and heat maps could more easily/accurately be generate to show areas of success or danger for a particular player.
I image a set of functions like this could even be used internally by the dev/moderator team to see areas of more and less activity for fun development things.
remove swimming momemtum gained from a running start and give every dino a small swim speed buff, or greatly lower the length of the momentum. it makes places other than titan lake viable for sucho. (or a sprint added for sucho in the water as suggested by Mynzelah)
Make it so you can select the type of music you hear. What I mean is. The ability to turn off/on or separately adjust the volume of things like day/night cue, player nearby, location music separately. I like the cue music but the constant music interferes with hearing things sometimes
make Gallimimus able to kick mid-air and keep running at the same time please. the waste of stamina with the jump will balance the fact that you can keep running after using your legs to attack. It's kind of unsatisfying that you stop every time you attack

It's very difficult to find players sometimes to kill. Perhaps make it so that sitting/laying down for 2 minutes makes you visible via scent. Might encourage people to stop growing like potatoes under trees. Also maybe remove your own/team mates prints on scent and make the water scent a different key entirely, or rework it so it doesnt take up half my screen with giant blue effects. Trying to track someone near a water source is very difficult with that obnoxious blue glow, especially in swampy areas. I also find that when you are following someones tracks, they will randomly stop showing up before even the compass directions go from your screen. Sometimes you have to sit at the last known scent location for 30 seconds and re-sniff once the compass goes away to pick the trail up again. Not sure if this is a bug, but it makes tracking very difficult as they obviously keep moving further away from you as you are stuck there waiting to be able to smell again.
Apex problems
- Too many apexes right now. Both adults/juvies are just too much. It's just bring out of the immersion when half server is apex or just want to be apex [juvie,sub]
- As soon affinity ready, make the apexes unlockable by the reward of making good affinity. This would be probably the biggest advantage of the players who actually play the game right,
and not a toxic mixpacking child. - Apex/Top tier shouldn't be playable instant in any game, you should earn it even the chance of becoming one. As we can see, increasing the growth time won't solve the problem.
So basically consider of the apex lockdown [apexes should be playable but unlockable]
As we all know, some servers have rules that players must follow (I don’t know if this is the case for Official Servers, as I haven’t played on one of them yet, nor if it is the case for Survival). And for many admins these rules are difficult to manage because some people like to come into a server and wreak havoc without respect to the rules the admins of the said server created.
My suggestion may not be of much use and even if it was considerable I wouldn’t know how effective it would be, if at all. But I wanted to suggest: Before you enter a server, there is a box that admins may put rules in or links to discord servers. In this box or under it, there could be a box you’d check that says something along the lines of “I agree to the rules of this server -“ so on and so forth, and it would appear every time like this server announcement.
The idea is that by checking this box, people are expressing that have read and agreed to the rules of the server. All too many times there are people coming into servers and after breaking rules they clearly did not read, they blow off and insult people when they are informed of the server rules. And this could (emphasis on “could”) give admins leverage on handling some of the server rulebreakers.
Again, I don’t know if it’s a good idea, but it’s just a though.

I know that there may be already too many dinos you have made for the game, but I know there are 3 dinos I'd like to see in game: Styracosaurus, Oviraptor and either compsognathus or troodon. However I understand these may never be chosen to be added, and I can accept that. Another suggestion I would like to offer for one of the greatest games I love, biomes. I think it would be a fantastic concept to introduce some biomes that a lot of these dinos came from, like the desert for example for raptors and utahs.
It takes about 35 seconds to fill up from 0 to 100% hunger as Dilo
and it literally takes 1 second to fill up from 0 to 100% thirst as Dilo.
Put them both inbetween?

I don't know if it has been suggested already but I would find it kinda cool the moment you give a deadly bite to another dino, that a short death kill animation is played. Now it is like: bite -> dino sinks and is dead. Kinda boring. That would add a lot of moreimmersion. The anime are already so beautifull. Just keep it simple. I am thinking of the animation of dinos from Jurassic world evolution. Short and sweet. Maske triggered by a Kong legt mouse click? What you think about that? Me as a beginner has difficulties to see if a bite did actually harm the opponent. Maybe we can have an indication for that too. Visible on the dino. No % health bar or something.

The Dilo is enormously underpowered right now... The increased bite force given to it recent is completely 100% useless.
Previously it was a tactical dino that would bite once or twice, and then keep its target moving to bleed it out, and was a tactic best served during the dark of night with its superior night vision.
NOW... It's bleed has been nerded, and its night advantage has been taken away with the night being lightened up so much that nobody even needs night vision anymore to see someone sneaking up on you in the dark!
The only thing that doesnt literally one or two shot a Dilo is another Dilo, and the Utahs.... Yet the Dilo is completely helpless against the Utah because it has vastly superior speed and turning, which allows them to butt ride and bite spam you to death, and nothing the Dilo can do about it.
The Dilo NEEDS a generous health buff, and a generous buff to its bleed to even be able to stand a decent chance at surviving.
Even in pack hunting, the Dilo pack usually ends up eating the one pack member who ended up getting hit once, and forced to lay down before bleeding out, and then finished off before the target dies. It is not an enjoyable experience for a dino that use to be so much fun back when it stood a chance in a fight...
add a apex dino that is able to kill a rex in 1v1, both giga and trike loses to rex....
make the day a bit longer and night a bit shorter please or at least give server owners a permission to customize them
improve utah night vision a bit...nothing like a Dilo but slightly better than what he has now.

How about water and food boosting your growth speed? You could grow faster or slower depending on how much food and water you have, here’s an example of what I’m trying to portray:
100% hunger and 100% thirst : x2 growth
60% hunger and 80% thirst : x1.4 growth
Below 50% hunger and below 50% thirst : No multiplier (this doesn’t mean you won’t grow, you will simply end up growing at your dinosaurs average rate.)
Again these are just examples, if the developers choose to do something similar they can do the maths.
Make the night at its darkest
Reduce AI spawns near large groups of Apexes, increasing the necessity to roam in smaller groups, also, reducing the strength of apexes could promote a more fair environment for Herbivore players, I don't see any Trike players anymore.
i got 3 suggestions. 1. make the gap of opportunity for dilo (the moment where nighttime gets very dark but not like old time) longer it is really effective but isn't reliable if its like 5-10mins 2. give dilo a better turn make it as good as utahs if not better 3. implement a system that makes our dinos passively hop over these annoying "toe-wall rocks" (pic related)

Make it to where the species of AI will spawn depends on the species/stage of the hungry player. For instance, have an ava spawn more frequently with adult/sub-adult mid tiers and apexes while tacos and oreos are more frequent with raptors and dilos as well as all juvies.

Make ai spawn spread out around the map with some concentrated areas with more to provoke territorial disputes this would also stop afking and waiting for a taco to fall into your mouth
In the Landscape4 map, there was a savannah biome that was African themed and had plenty of large bushes and tall grass to hide/ambush in. It would be nice to see that come to V3.

Suggestion: Tiered Wounding
Basically, certain players would inflict/receive tiers of injury from certain dinosaurs. These are some of them.
Infected Wounds are caused by dilos and ceras. Cera’s scavenging habits would reflect infectious bites, and infectious bites can be implemented for dilo, to either replace or align with bleed.
Grave wounds are what (and this is an example), a maia can expect if it were to be pretty much mauled by an allo. While the allo would probably still finish the job, if it were to die or give up, it would still leave the Maia in a severe state. Not death, but close to the next tier.
Mortal Wounds would be expected if a sub trike were to be bitten by a fully grown Rex, or what a diablo would expect if it received a bite from a hypo Carno. Not immediate death, but rather, impending death. If the diablo were lucky, it could survive, but it would take long to heal. Depending on a few other factors (that regional damage would play a part in), the diablo would most likely die, given this hypo Carno bit it’s upper or center back, or head/neck.
These are basically to add a sense of realism and dread into getting injured. These wounds apply to ALL dinosaurs, making conflict a tricky business and not something that some players would want to step to.
Make Rex speed match up to the current giga’s speed and put giga’s speed to the current Rex speed to make giga the fastest apex like it should be.

When will dinosaur backs be considered actual terrain? I wanna sit on an Anky's back as a Utah or ride on Deino's back as an Austro and pick through his teef for snaccs.
Here are some suggestions on how to make apexes less easy to grow in a corner of the map only living off of AI.
1.Lowering their max pack size.
2.Changes to AI Smaller AI should spawn less frequent and only if the apex is on about a quarter of it's max food. The apex should be able to use AI as a temporary solution to not starve, but not as it's primary food source. What would also make apexes move around the map would be adding sauropod and hadrosaur AI. These would spawn randomly on the map and wander around (the hadros maybe in small herds). This would encourage apexes to also wander around more because it would be less easy to survive in one spot because of small AI spawning nearby. They would(obviously)also have the chance of finding other players by doing this. (maybe bigger AI would also lower the total amount of AI needed to feed dinosaurs and it would make more room for player slots)
- This is just a little idea on making apex growth time a bit longer without apexes spending ages in their juvenile stage: Make the adult stage longer. The stats should increase way faster at the start of the adult stage and barely change when being close to the end so you aren't a weak and slow apex for very long but it also takes some time to finally get to full adult. Idk what impact this would have but I just like the idea of it.

Some Dino are going extinct from survival,no one wants to play it because it's so bad in surviving. Survival depends upon fight or flight (Run away). some dino are doing really good like Allo, cearia, utha, carno because of their speed they could decide whether to fight or run. while the other just have no chance either to fight or flight from their hunters. people will find them sooner or later and get killed .who likes to spend hours knowing you will just be a food and there is no chance either to fight or flight. The biggest threat is the rex with its immence power and speed everyone want to play it just because other are no good choice. it's insanly fast so its hard for some dino to survive who is much slower then him, like Giga and suco. In my openion making them as fast as rex will help them thrive again, and peple would like play those dinos . Right now people who play rex are distroying everything it comes across in groups this is not healthy for Survival game play. I suggest making every dino having some kind of chance for fight or flight, and make game play more interesting and fun. I guess people who play Rex will have more fun if giga would be able to fight against it in some way, would make the game play more fun. so i suggest make giga and sucho faster simmilar to the speed of rex OR nurf Rex speed to that of Giga. Rex shoud be able to catch them but should be only in ambush.
Give adult dilo the same turn speed as the juvi
Instead of having ai spawn near players I feel the implementation of a system that spawns certain ai in different habitats(ie. big herb herds in open fields, and raptors/oros/avas in forests) would give the game a more immersive feel. It would force apexes to fight over hunting grounds for larger, more nourishing prey, and would mean smaller dinos would be forced into a more realistic habitat. This would also involve giving the ai the ability to inflict more damage based on their size (although not too much) to discourage smaller Dino’s from attacking the herds.
Give Dryos better Night Vision, it would make sense also give players a reason to team up with Dryos and play them.
i have been playing dilos recently, and i heard a lot of screams about buffing it.
But tbh, its health pool, speed, turn rate is pretty balanced according to its size compared to other dinos and their stats.
But what is really lacking isnt insane damage or bleed damage but rather a special effect in their attacks
Just givem an special effect in their attacks like slower healing rate for bleeding /reduce victims movement speed /turn rate or even blurry thier victims vision for a few seconds. Then it would be a fun and effective but not op out of the scale dino.
Tho personally i like blurring their victims vision most. JP all the wayyyyyyyyy.
Theres a mountain pass and plain area between lighthouse and herb haven on the thenyaw its an amazing little hidden area Please could we have a small water basin up there and food spawning for herbs so that it can be unitised more as a herb nesting ground. I love it up there the sound of the wind as it passes through the mountains the views are stunning just no food or water which is so unfair. A place like that in the real world would have rain water ponds.
Make the Dryo be able to make a Nest in their Burrows, like, that would make them somewhat viable lol

It would be great if the AI spawns would be adjustable and if AI had more variety in species. At the moment some dinos die to hunger simply because there isn*t AI even after walking over 20km. I would like this to apply also to herbs for herbivores. It's insane that some herbivores die to starvation in middle of woods that has 2 different types of trees 3 types of bushes and 3 different types of grass and other plants. I understand this is survival/horror game but it doesn't make sense to die in hunger in rainforest or normal forest if you are plant eater. This would boost up peoples interest to play herbivores and even the balance between carnivores and herbivores.
Also i would like to suggest to balance some herbivores tankynes so servers like Survival would be able to take them in. At the moment some bigger ones are so op that even group of Rexes cant do anything.
hey how about making it so herbis can benefit from mix herding more.
like giving herbis a trait so they could support the herd in a way. like trike would be the main tank/offence dryos could make it so other hatchlings can hide in their dens when they get confronted by a predator and galli could be given like a good nv like dilos so he could watch for danger and alarm the herd.

Is collision with other players something that's being worked on? At this point in a fight we just run straight through eachother and the first player who ends up behind the other one will win the fight. However if collisions where on and you could like, say almost push eachother off, or bump into each other that would change the whole fighting system.

Armour/skin type system
Most people agreed that herbivores are at a huge disadvantage when combating carnivores.
It’s not only because the predators were designed to offence but also the fact that herbivores are missing the most significant trait of their real life counterpart — armour.
Think about most predators that are dangerous, they either relay on speed or sheer power with an amount of stealth. Which is perfectly represented by the carnivores in the game.
But for herbivores, except for size and speed, another essential trait for them is their armour. Armadillos, tortoise or even rhinos has very tough hide, not unbreakable but one tough ones.
So In order to let herbivores living up to their potential maybe devs could could consider implementing a armour/skin type system to every dinos when the regional damage system is out.(That’s what I heard they are working on)
It would be cool to have a system separating the pro and rookie no matter they are the hunter or prey, it would also give herbivores another card to play in this survival contest.
Make sucho swim faster because as it stands even after the swim speed buff it’s still to relatively slow in water. If sucho is gonna be slow as all hell compared to all these apex’s on land and it being even slower in water aka the only escape it can have to defend itself at least take out the annoying way Dino’s can just ambush into water and swim at light speeds to out swim a semi aquatic dino and kill him then what’s the purpose of the swim speed buff in general our tester and devs should catch things like that before release. Love the Initiative keep up the awesome work guys.
Add the blacks for the color palette back or at least one shade of black maybe giga 5 it ruined a lot of peoples skins due to majority of people having black on their dinos so pls.
I agree with @obtuse jungle right now day time does not last very long while night time lasts a really long time. It's really off putting when both aren't on the same length of time. Would love to see this adjusted so day time lasts just as long as night time.
It would be cool if apex were like rock paper shisors idk spino can defeat rex. Rex can defeat giga. Giga can defeat spino bcs I don't really enjoy rex owerpowering anything
Been trying to think of possible ways to encourage people to spread out more on V3 and one of the things that came to mind was the area around 'raptor rock', formerly known as 'herbi rock'. Seeing as large numbers of utahraptors camp out there, lots of AI spawns in the area attracting other carnivores to the point where you have several groups of people all in one place. Meanwhile, other areas of the map are completely deserted, even on a full server. So what I thought was making the rock taller so people can't camp on it and stopping this chain of events from happening.
make ai spawn more at the paridise area cause all the big herbs hang out there so no carnis really go there

I have suggestion about the size of the Apex limits. 5 is too much for a group of Rex, or giga its not fair for other players who has smaller groups of 2 Rex they will get massacarred. lot of people like playing in huge groups, talking in discord so they has the upper hand growing in groups, when grown they are nearly undistructible. who can compete against 5 group of rex, they will dirstory every thing in path. some players like noobs or like to play single player or in a smaller groups has no chance. They spend same 6 hours to grow their dinos, mabe harder because they rased their dino solo. It's not just fair. So i purpose having the Rex limit to 2, giga limit to 3 and so on. The Smaller dinos does need some limits but it could be more like 8 pack of allo or 15 pack of Raptors because apex could fight them. Increasing Rex alt turn to fight against smaller dino could also be consider so they dont get harrased by other smaller dions. Giga alt will distroy other dinos and thats good because the smaller dino has fear that giga is fast turn and it has chance defending itself. After all the bigger dino need more care and time to rase . This could geatly increase the possibility of control the population of the apex because 2v2 Rex will have chance of fighting or 3 giga v 2 Rex is fair fight in my openion. They will naturally compete for the food so there will be control in the Apex population. So Controlling the Pack limit would great benifit both the players and the survival instinct of the Game. Increasing the server slot can also help to control the population of the dinos as they will have more possiblities to get caught and get killed.
