them working with plants too makes alot of sense since every dino in the game has access to atleast one Photosynthetic mutation and herbivores even get 2

Photosynthesis being something Algae and Plants naturally posses but only very very very few specially adapted animals are able to turn to their advantage

Which in turn leading down the same rabbit hole, makes me excited or hopeful for Plant Dino hybrids at some point

These same experiments could also explain why some dinos arent paleo-accurate.
Because AE never actually cared about being "historically accurate" in their recreation of dinos, they cared about living up to the hype and expectations.

i'm honestly more expecting some creepy like Jellyfish genes of which some are fully immortal by reverting to a polyp stage if grieviously wounded, effectively reincarnating itself

Aquatic creatures have a weird tendency to become functionally immortal (not invulnerable or unkillable, just not negatively affected by age)

Some if not most Crabs and Lobsters can fully regenerate entire parts of their body, there have been Lobsters that were caught with most of their organs fully exposed by horrible injury and still live on

My theory is that the humans have the intelligence to work as both a mercenary and a scientist as they‘re not born from a natural mother and they work on rotary shifts.

Though, through survival of the fittest, it only makes sense that the mercenary sort of humans would thrive as opposed to scientist on a big angry jungle island with monsters

Alright I can summarize: depending on your actions and the frequency of them, you would accumulate heat in a hidden stat. It would verrrrry slowly passively decrease at all times, but drop very fast when resting in the shade, going in water, mud baths ect ect. Overheating would just make you get a few debuffs and would be non lethal. I can say more but this isn’t general feedback so that’s all

Increased thirst, stam usage, if you’re really suffering from heatstroke you could even vomit. It would take a lot to get you to this point tho. You’d have to be running around like a madman to get to that point
