My Initial casting setup and blast furnace, and my new more automated and integrated setup.

thats so complicated for no reason and i love it
heres my build for a semi-auto steel farm if ever you need it
oh yeah. you don't go making 32+ deployers without realising it's abit much when you can just use a pump. But i will at somepoint probably rip out the bellows put pumps in.
that blast furnace to crucible transfer really slows it
honestly your setup looks dope even if it isnt efficient
if i where you i'd keep it just for nostalgia
not everything has to make 240 gajillion ingots per second to be beautiful
this is true. it does certainly do enough as is. 370 pig iron ingots for about 20 mins of work is more than i know what to do with rn.
That wait for the blast furnace to drip tho stares at me.
Maybe ill just go restock on kaolin and add more furnaces, solve the time inefficency with scale and keep the whimsy
370 ingots is insane, even compared to my production
mine is limited mostly by the fact it needs to actually smelt the ore lmao, so i get like 24 ingots per batch
wait, no, 20 since i use 144mb dust
taking say, 3 min for each smelting cycle, i need 30 min for 200 ingots lol
Oh wait
mines directly converted to steel
the time it takes for another batch to pour, the first ones done slamming out
I homologate iron ores into cast iron ingots then feed that (tho i think i should probs mill to dust). I think the speed might come from that casting setups fill each mold at the rate regardless of total ammount of tables.
might be closer to 40 mins tbf if you include time to homolagate iron
572 coke oven behavior tbh
that'd take far too much land, for a huge excess lol.
I just wanted to be able to more comfortably make batches of red steel cause i got caught off guard by LV machine hull red steel requirement
Wait damn if youre in lv wouldnt it be so insanely easier to just make the red steel dust with a mixer
So you dont need the extra pig iron for the black steel and the extra black steel for the red steel
nearly in lv, just need a 4A converter and illl be ready to make chem reactor, centrifuge, solidifier and extruder. I should look into that tho lol
i would need programmable circuits. Def coulda alloy smeltererd instead of welding with press. Woulda taken ages tho for this even if double the black and red steel
Don't make an LV extruder
Do you have another recommendation for gear production that doesn't involve manual forging? or is it not very worthwhile to do so until later
2 ingots into an alloy smelter
with a stamp, it's a pain cause 3 ingots but nothing comes to mind thats better before mv
Ill probs go extractor - fluid solidifer. My initial power setup should run it and it'l be much quicker than extruder
Seems great! Good luck!
