I believe tom was referring to a source of lava, a lava lake beneath the volcano, not the amount of tiles of lava contained/available on the surface of a volcano
even 4 worked for me in singleplayer. I only needed to allocate 8 for lan mp.

In version 0.7.19, when Ore Prospector opened, I could select any ore or write the ore I was interested in in the filter. Now I can't do this. That is, resource filtering does not work

Found a small tag error in one of the quest texts
Graphite is bordeline impossible to find without doing so randomly while caving.
I see if I go 50 + blocks below the surface, then surface indicators can spawn in caves and tunnels, after which I have to dig further 50 or so blocks to hit the graphite veins, but otherwise only way I've been able to find it is with a GT ore prospector
I think the idea is to explore the tunnel to find it
I can see on the ore prospector however that it sometimes doesn't spawn in any 6x6 chunk radius however. So just going caving would not be a reliable way of finding it
For instance, here where I've settled on the test world - there is no veins in an 11x11 chunk grid.
Going 22 chunks further to the left, i still find nothing
I did just increase the amount of indicators it generates as well as add it to every stone type. Before it was only doing it in metamorphic and igneous intrusive

from ohhhLuna , we found that brine was not talk about when it comes to smoking hte meat
the meat need to be brine for you to smoke the meat and was not said in the quest
either the text is wrong or the recipe is supposed to be salted instead of brined in the first place

but brine, we need that for sure all meat need brine but was not state on the quest so, change for 0.9.2
Tested Bear, Pork, Frog Leg, Grouse and Mutton all did not work without being brined regardless of being salted or not

the mining machines are broken in 0.9.1 so it might be trying to crush nothing, thus the exception
put this file in your kubejs/server_scripts/gregtech folder and it should fix the miners

The JEI recipes says to craft the Tongs in the 3x3 crafting. Anyways, the use of Tongs to grab hot items should be indicated somewhere.

Look for carbon sources like graphite and diamonds, coal will probably be there too
Easy to find in the beneath, but dangerous. Harder to find on the overworld, since surface indicators for graphite don't show up anymore. I don't know if the coal or diamond indicators do or not. If they do, I haven't seen them.

Create pumps remove the source block they "suck" from. To get infinte water, have atleast 3 water blocks next to each other and suck on the middle of the blocks.
For lava, now you need a hose pulley and a lake or basin of atleast 2000 source blocks, for the pulley to consider it infinte
I think I know why I was confused about the alternate fire brick recipe and thinking it was missing. emi doesn't show compressed fireclay being able to be used for anything

I havent explored enough to know whether they generate on every single volcanic island, although from what ive seen so far that might be likely. And if so that should be toned down probably, but if they do generate on an island it should generate a ton of them if we want to be real life accurate. With more on nearby islands if there are some close enough

you can add the natural disasters mods yourself if you want but I'm against them being included by default just because losing your entire base to something is very much not fun unless you're watching a youtuber suffer for it

That's not really possible. It just uses biome tags to place them, so I can't really have it only place a bunch of them on one volcano but not another

it's a little annoyingsome things take damage passively while being worn in clothes slots, so you want to wear them as armor, and some things don't, so you want to wear them as clothes so they don't take damage when you get hurt....

if you use it on an armor slot, it takes damage. but if you put it in a clothes slot, it lasts forever
whereas clothes if you put them in the clothes slot, they'll just decay over time, but if you put them in the armor slot they don't take passive damage

However when installing the new pack to the server, we just can't get the world gen to work properly, the world type keeps getting overwritten to normal minecraft. Anyone know how to solve this? It's a world setting, might have migrated with your save if you didn't make a new game. Many of the changes are more relevant to newer players, rather than returning ones. Although some major bugs were also fixed like kaolin and poor ores, among others

I made them separate on purpose. The rnr one is basically diluted concrete, so you don't need a full 1000mb of concrete for one slab

Yes, that's hardened stone, not raw stone

If you're using a crucible, it's much faster to put the dusts and ores directly into the crucible compared to keeping it in a vessel in the crucible
I was melting in it (sorry for the bad screen). As soon as the tin was melted, the copper disappeared. I haven't gotten to the crucible yet.

yes, it will say "molten tin" and "waning - vessel still contains unmelted material" - you need to keep heating it and wait for the copper to melt too, since they have different melting points
