EBF is cool, steel is easy now.

This is my 2nd time with the glorious Gregtech, I didn't like it much with omnifactory, but TFG makes it feel so much more grounded and much more enjoyable.

By the way you can find pure aluminum ore in Bauxite veins and completely skip electrolyzing sapphire dust. MV soon! Made a circuit assembler and going to pump out the first batch craft of MV components to kick start MV.

Props to you TFG devs! Thank you for this journey!

What did you think of GTNH? Is it as "interesting" as the memes make it to be?

#

main thing about GTNH is that it is entirely focused on technological progress and all things are built around it. It is very thoughtful and incredibly interesting as it progresses from one technological level to another

#

however, it began to seem to me somehow very dry and one-sided at a certain moment when nothing threatens you and you just sit in the basement all day long

#

TFG seems to me much more balanced, less grinding, more different exciting things in the game that you don't have to overcome with intelligence, they just exist and you like it

Ah! That's interesting! So stuff like 6 minute steel recipe don't make the pack more interesting, they just make it more grindy, making the best solution to not play at all, but wait instead for things to finish.

Yep! I think it’s a complementarys shader, but I’m not exactly sure as it’s been a while since I’ve used them (40 fps is unacceptable).

Fortunately I can use some decent shaders and still get 80-100 fps

I don’t have the world open at the moment but it’s at about 140-160 hours something?

#

I think if you batch crafted more than me earlier for many of the LV components you could easily hit LV and get to blast furnace in 100-120 hours

#

Where are you in your world?

Probably going to restart though

I wanna do it with some friends
