Last week, we introduced new detection methods to tackle botting, alongside increasing staff to review player reports. We’ve already seen a clear impact, with a noticeable drop in bot activity and fewer reports coming in. As with any online game, this is an ongoing effort and we’ll continue improving how we detect and act on this behaviour.

Make no mistake: botting and automated farming have no place in Pixel Worlds. These activities are typically used to farm resources (such as Nether Crystals), convert them into in-game currency, and attempt to sell that currency outside the game. This undermines the integrity of the game and the experience for everyone. We’re committed to actively preventing it.

Any account found to be using bots, or involved in buying or selling in-game currency outside the game, will be permanently banned.

We’ve also introduced some changes to further limit botting. These weren’t announced in advance to avoid giving bot users time to adapt:

➡️Unregistered accounts now have daily limits on Netherworld, Mining, and Fishing activities
➡️Red Portal now requires level 20
➡️Nether Crystals, fish and mining gemstones are now untradeable. You are still able to break Crystals for gems and sell fish to the NPC for gems and so on. But you cannot trade them with other players or drop them in worlds. This change might be a permanent one or we might change it back at some point. But for now it is in effect indefinitely.

These changes are aimed at reducing the effectiveness of automated farming while keeping normal gameplay as unaffected as possible. We'll continue monitoring the situation and may adjust things over time.

The reports from our community members are invaluable in our efforts to keep this community safe and fair. Please do keep reporting any unwanted behaviour, be it bots, scamming, harassing or something else. It makes a real difference in keeping the game fair for everyone 💪

How is it going to crash? It can only go up, because the only way for you to make byte coins is now through fishing properly, and in huge amounts. You need gear for that.

For me the way you get Bytes, Is thru selling fish gems in exchange of bytes instead of buying packs of boosters
