FASTEST WAY TO GET MORE EXP
- Play in a party of 3, and split different path or directions
- Focus not on killing the enemies, but on getting keys and (nether crystals are opt.)
- when finding the exit, notify your teamate where is it located at
- exit and repeat.
why this; exiting and getting out asap decrease the time / Exp and make you could do more runs. plus, exiting give the most exp
NETHERING TIPS
- dont clear enemies if you dont have to, waste a lot of time and effort.
- remember the path the exit if you found it
- some part are really difficult and need some time, but some you could just collect the loot and leave
- sometimes going all in a single path is a bad idea, due constant enemy targeting different players
- if you couldn't find the last few nether crystal leave it be. it not worth the time and search.
- if u found a checkpoint near teh exit use it as a place where you could tactical death and spawn there quickly
- if you are about to die and lose, its no shame to ask for help on someone to clear it for you
- focusing on exiting also means helping clearing a somewhat straight path to the exit, better then keep dodging and risking on dying
- along the way finding keys and the exit, you could get the nether crystal or treasure
NETHER-ECONOMY TIPS
- sometimes nether crystal rises and drops, wait for the right time to sell or buy (may change due to panic-sells and evetns, etc)
- a whole stack of nether crystals give 9-12k gems. do your math properly if its better to sell or buy
- some nether enemies drops certain valuable loots like graffiti, gem pouches, nether souls, etc
- breaking and taking the gems for the nether crystal give a lot of gems, which you could use to get more achievements
REVENGE FOR THE AFK/LEECHER
- bait a nether wraith to the leecher whos afk
- let the nether wraith take his life away
try to have and keep a checkpoint near the exit so u can do a tactical death to get there faster if u havent gotten all the keys yet and are far
added it! thanks for the idea
I like the direction of this guide a lot. The focus on speed, splitting paths, and not over-clearing Nether rooms is honestly how most efficient runs end up working in practice. The teamwork angle (calling exits, spreading out, etc.) is nice and that’s what actually makes or breaks fast XP runs.
That said, a couple things feel a bit too rigid. “Always rush exit” sounds good on paper, but Nether isn’t consistent enough for that to be optimal every time. Some layouts are so small or so loaded with crystals/loot that skipping everything just to leave can actually slow your overall progress long-term. Same with ignoring enemies, sometimes clearing a path once saves more time than constantly dodging pressure later and you could also gain a little more XP killing the enemies.
The checkpoint death idea is interesting too, but it’s very situational and can backfire if the team isn’t fully coordinated.
For the economy section, I do agree with the general idea of watching prices and not panic-selling crystals, but the post oversimplifies it a bit. Market swings aren’t always predictable enough to “wait for the right time” in a reliable way.
Overall though, this is a strong efficiency-focused guide. It just leans a bit too hard into “always do X” when Nether gameplay is usually more about reading the run and adapting fast.
im adding some statements in the nethering tips section! thanks for the headsup!
Buh uh Umpeh!
bump
does exp and gems you get in the end not determined by how many enemies the 3 people killed?
it does! but like not intirely because there are other aspect such as enemy exp killing boost, nether enemy generations, and then the exit bonus from clan perks
so its better to just head in then get some crystals if possible then exit as fast as possible?
yap! as far as i know tho, ive been doing this for a while now and ive gotten to lvl 50 already!
