Don't use a titanium rod if you don't have a fishing set, I also experienced something like this, 20 minutes only 1 fish, in the end I switched to a carbon rod and sold the titanium rod.

Titanium rod tries to ignore a lot of tiny and small fish, so it takes a while to get medium to huge ones

In pixel station there is a portal that takes you to the fishing tutorial world, where it states that water depth, water tiles connected, and world background and weather can contribute to fish I think

yesterday did experiment, used 999 pink small minnows with bamboo flawless rod, pro fishermans suit and lure hat, did nonstop fishing till i finished all lures, time was 7hrs and 40 minutes, and gems in the end was only 54k

I recommend you to watch zygora’s video about which type of grind is better (mining, fishing, nether and farm). Spoiler: he used a tsup with the best gear for frequency strike. And he managed to catch only 2 fishes in 1 hour. So it’s not a bug. That’s how titan rod works

in old pw my main rod was bamboo sup, always liked fast strikes, i had titan sup too but barely used it. My question is, how can you profit if ur fishing for that long and ur getting couple of fishes im confused.
