Yeah, It's basically gambling.
For example Maze or Tower.

TTT is one of the examples I would call skill-based. But in everything else either you get lucky or lose..

true, but then you are competing.

For example in real life, you can play in chess tournaments, but you need to pay an entree fee and can win monetary prizes.
