Add back recycler

Recycler used to be THE way to create bc and now it's gone. I understand you have to control the byte supply somehow but the recycler was a really cool way you could use useless items, and the byte reward made it special.

Given the byte sinks that exist are so effective (pwe and secret base mostly) and the only way to get bytes is IAP and the 10 bytes you sometimes get from daily bonus and quests, I don't see any reason to add a counterbalance and good QOL feature in the form of the recycler being back.

Wouldn't hurt either that it would speed up progression by a bit.

You used to also be able to create byte with gems actually, which was the way most people got bytes if they didnt trade them

In my experience you just bought pixie or smth and sold it. The bytes were always below market rate and it was therefore more efficient to buy normal items.

But I'm not arguing for adding back bytes for gems, if devs wanna balance bc that way let them, it wasn't a particularly useful feature. But I don't see why we would remove useful blocks from the game.

I hate just trashing random items i find bc i often have a ton of junk laying around like duplicate graffiti pieces or like random clothing

Its not even that powerful, you need to recycle a lot of items to profit from it

Yeah but this is not primarily about bc to gems, it's about useless stuff -> a little bit of bc

rot -> dude you got exactly 1 byte per tank top (not rounding, it's almost precisely a byte per 5 points) it really wasn't that op. 2 bytes during event wow.

it IS that powerful if you provide enough items ro recycle, i used to triple the amount i put into it during the event. used to mass 50 gem packs and it was overpowered as hell from my experience

Yeah, but grass + dirt is so cheap u would just be creating so much bc out of nothing

Yeah you used to be able to make a very modest profit with basic clothes backs during event if fgems were cheap. That's not a crazy exploit and it was less profit per time interval than mining.

rot I think getting a stack of grass seeds and a stack of soil seeds makes u deserve 2k bytes in compensation. It's a ton of work.

If they just made basic clothes packs 100 gems and made green tank top specifically 1 point nobody would complain

Ehh, i def dont go that far with it, i just use it as a utility for getting rid of items instead of wasting them (like it was intended xddd)
