plymouth help!

if you look at the video, i’m using LUKS encryption with plymouth but for some reason, the loading image appears for a microsecond before the box to type my password and it looks ugly and annoys me. Please tell me there’s a way to fix this

like you can see the arch logo appear for a frame before the box to type the password (that logo is part of the plymouth animation) but it shouldn’t appear before the box of luks

should i put plymouth after encrypt?

It should be HOOKS=(base udev autodetect microcode modconf kms keyboard keymap consolefont block plymouth encrypt filesystems fsck)

After that rebuild the initramfs sudo mkinitcpio -P and make sure there are no errors there.

they have LUKS so encrypt has to be in there
