#System doesn't fully reboot/shutdown from GUI but works from TTY

Kernel: 6.19.6-zen1-1-zen
System: Ryzen 7 7840HS (Radeon 780M)
DE: i3-wm

When I reboot or shutdown from the graphical environment (using the desktop power menu), the system does not fully reboot/shutdown. It appears to hang and requires a manual power off.
However, rebooting or shutting down from a TTY works perfectly.

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that rebooting or shutting down from a terminal inside the graphical session does not fully complete.

From the logs, the root cause appears to be amdgpu: ring vcn_unified_0 timeout
