dualbooting with windows?
was windows previously on the machine?
is "fastboot" disabled in the bios/uefi?
not dual booting, i completely wiped windows when i bought the laptop
you might have made the error of not truly shutting windows down....
would a fresh install, have changed that?
when you "shut down" windows it will go into "hybernation" instead...
nope
it kinda locks the hardware... thats the problem
you might need to re-install windows, only to then shut it down WHILE holding the shift key!
that will make it truly shut down
i dont have a recovery image :/
idk, its the only hunch i have....
other than that your wifi should be just working...
not even clearing cmos?
you can try that... but i dont think so
ok then, thanks for the help
What does holding shift do?
.
@jagged cedar Hey did you end up fixing this?
