I bought a thinkpad T14 gen 6 amd and have installed arch over ethernet. On boot the machine gives several errors such as '8.44787 mt7925e 0000:as:00.0: message 000200c (seq 3) timout' and other errors of a similar type

when you "shut down" windows it will go into "hybernation" instead...

hollow rock
#

it kinda locks the hardware... thats the problem

jagged cedar
#

i see

#

is there anything that can be done?

hollow rock
#

you might need to re-install windows, only to then shut it down WHILE holding the shift key!

#

that will make it truly shut down

idk, its the only hunch i have....
other than that your wifi should be just working...

jagged cedar
#

not even clearing cmos?

hollow rock
#

you can try that... but i dont think so
