We've all seen operating systems (kolibriOS) and linux distros (floppinux) that fit in a floppy disk, but those are just toys. I'm proposing a new idea: a very lightweight linux distro with a GUI, but a production ready one. Something that can be used for browsing the web, programming, and office work, and all in 500MB. If you're interested tell me, so we can start working on it.

tiny core linux already exists. but still a cool project
like under 300MB if i am sure
it also has GUI
i have my own project like that but for a recovery media
and belive me, you cant get anything under a gigabyte
tho ive stopped developing it
