I recently installed Arch and downloaded discord, but for some reason if it's in the second monitor while fullscreened it freezes, though only visually, i can still click and move around the app but it stays completely still while it's fullscreened there.
This only happens to discord.
I have an rtx 2060 that's hooked up to my main monitor, and i'm using my cpu's integrated graphics and a vga cable on the second monitor

spotify also seems to be freezing
Happens to me as well. Although to me it happens like once every 3 hours or something. How often does it happen to you ? Also, am pretty sure the issue with me is memory-shortage related so probably different. And mention your WM/DE as well.
Open for 5 minutes or so and then that happens
I use gnome
Could you send the output of pacman -Q | grep "nvidia"?
lib32-nvidia-utils 580.105.08-1
libva-nvidia-driver 0.0.14-1
linux-firmware-nvidia 20251125-2
nvidia-dkms 580.105.08-5
nvidia-utils 580.105.08-5
Any specific reason to use nvidia-dkms? You've got RTX 2060, why not use the open ?
ill be honest im new to arch
i installed that package to test it
Might be the problem
Generally, one must do like some extra steps in order to be able to use dkms module, have you done any ?
I'm not sure, but iirc then it has to do with kernel module stuff. If you have done any, we may have to undo them, as they're no longer needed. But maybe we could just like let them be, as they do no harm.
