This morning when I tried sudo pacman -Syu, I get:

~ ❯ sudo pacman -Syu

Do I just have to wait a bit? Or is manual intervention required?

I was about to write a detailled entry about how I could not start Plasma due to a missing icu 76 library after performing a full system upgrade.

I waited about 2 hours and did :

$ sudo pacman -Syu

This solved the problem.

There definitely was a time window of a few hours where pacman didn't think there were any packages to upgrade though.
