#Wifi dropping to 0 randomly with terrible speeds

Reinstalled Cachyos after having some problems with Vanilla Arch, and I've been using it for quite some time and its good, however something i can't get over which is the wifi speed. It's supposed to be incredibly fast and it is, until it drops to 0 for around 5-10 seconds, and then the speed will be awful, lagging stutering downloading random shit off steam ESPECIALLY is incredibly slow and tedious. I was recommended to install a driver for my WLAN card (Realtek RTL8821CE) which made the speed incredibly worse, then after that I was told to just get another wlan card, everyone else I've talked to doesn't know and no one on reddit has responded for a day. does anyone know what i could do about this?

Long story short, buying a well supported wifi card is much more likely to be successful and will be a lot less time consuming than spending a lot of time banging your head against the wall chasing this

And your wifi worked better on other Linux distros? Which distros?

Chasing down the differences in kernel versions will probably be your best bet there

That could explain why it got worse when you used the official realtek driver

#

and other distros may install that stuff by default (probably not debian, but probably ubuntu and maybe fedora idk)
