You can follow the video or the Arch wiki.
You use windows?
windows 11 on the main ssd yes
Do you have any other drives?
i have 2 ssds and the usb i have my arch iso on
Did you use/install linux before?
no
Why Arch Linux? Why not something like Linux Mint or Ubuntu...?
because i want to learn it
If you want to actually learn you install Arch linux on a Virtual Machine instead of an actual drive.
Try Virtual Box.
So if you screw up, you can just delete the VM and create a new one.
if you want yo dualboot, just run the command 'lsblk' on the installation media
it shoud give an output like
/dev/nvme0n1 someGB
/dev/nvme1n1 someotherGB
if the drives have dufferent sizes
then just follow the installation steps
at the part 'partioning' use the drive (/dev/nvmesomething) you want to install archlinux on
it shouldnt effect your windows drive if you use the right drive
It's the difference between learning and not.
Doing it manually teaches you a lot, but using archinstall is like just installing Windows.
