@marsh arrow I mean which exact CPU model
@grand prairie
That's a 64-bit CPU.
All Core 2 CPUs are 64-bit.
32-bit os
Why are you running a 32-bit OS on a 64-bit CPU?
I installed wrong os bit version
and the data on pc
is very important
I cant reinstall or backup
is that a VM?
yes
huh
why are you emulating 32 bit on 64 bit
vanilla arch is x86_64 only
I dont
read
I use x86 one
so hes emulating x86_64 on x86?
read
yes
"Ive got a 32-bit CPU"
oh
okay
i dont know if thats compatible, but if it boots normally i guess thats fine
It was my dad fault he got 32-bit os
so when you are booted into the arch iso and do ip a
you only have lo?
Except he doesn't. He has a 64-bit CPU. All Core 2 CPUs are 64-bit.
yes
Oh my bad I said 32-bit cpu accidently
either its a modprobe error or VM error
the 100% way to fix is to reinstall
Stop using Windows 7 and use a 64-bit OS would be pretty good first steps.
So I am cooked
I am on alt pc
but thanks
Get a backup.
