#Module problems after updating kernel

Hello, I updated (syu) my system including the kernel. Then, I rebooted. After the rebooted I was solving the /efi partition wasn’t found. I don’t know how I fixed it.

Now, I have these problems.
But some info first:
I have btrfs ext4, with @ and @home submodules. Grub as a bootloader and greetd (tuigreet) as a login mgr. I’m using X11’s xfce4.

The grub menu won’t even appear, I have 3s timeout so normally it does. I get straight into tuigreet which I can’t use due to X not finding a usable display. When I check the logs there are problems with nvidia modules. I have all the libs installed and up-to-date. After bigger examination, I’ve found that uname -a shows me, I’m currently using the 6.14.4 kernel but /lib/modules or pacman has the new 6.15.5 version. Idk how to solve this problem I tried everything (no I didn’t, I’m just dumb lol).

Pls help!

what does pacman -Syu have to say?

Warnings and fatal errors about failing to retrieve packets from websites

Ok, if pacman -Syu doesn't work then your system is in an unpredictable state until it resolves

Might need to update your mirrors

Got reflector or another mirror tool installed?

My ethernet isnt showing up

In iso it works

Fucking updates

Try pacman -Syu when chrooted from an iso, where your ethernet works

#

I'm guessing that something went wrong and left you half upgraded. Kernels and modules need to agree on versions and symbols (as you have noted in your OP), so maybe it's the same story for your ethernet too

#

If this still is a thing after pacman -Syu completes happily (run it again if you're unsure, should say "nothing to do") then there may be a deeper issue. Get up to date first though I think
