or wait for more qualified help

you could try installing some dotfiles (maybe HyDe or ml4w or end4)

they might override faulty configs

you could try removing its data and hyprland with pacman -Rd but it will remove all data of whatever it removes so do so at your own risk.

well i might be able to diagnose this very well but a fresh install of hyprland usually doesn’t look like that

so let’s try this: go on tty and install any of plasma, gnome, …

and then you can go from there

i like plasma but you can do whatever you like

but it will be a lot more comfortable fixing Experience

The issue here is not arch but user stealing random config files from other users for hyprland
Vanilla hyprland installed with archinstall is just a void with a cursor
This is why you don't steal config files but make your own.
