google-chrome-stable is malfunctioning following a upgrade. The windows starts small, and with every attempt to resize it, it gets smaller.
Even touching the icon for it or opening another application will cause the Chrome window to get smaller or move to another part of the screen.

Running google-chrome-stable --verbose

I did uninstall Chrome (yay -Rns google-chrome) and reinstall it with a clean install but the behavior is the same as before.

For an old clunker of a laptop, it runs Arch pretty good

An attempt to use google-chrome-beta yielded worse results as the mouse was not able to click on anything, and everything had to be done with the keyboard.

OK, a temporary fix based on comments in the AUR

google-chrome-stable --ozone-platform=x11

This appears to be a Wayland problem.
