All in the title. After doing some schenanigans last night including downgrading package (later reupgraded after a hotfix) I find that waybar wouldn't work, and after some sleuthing round out that graphical-session.target was not working, and I don't know why .

     Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/graphical-session.target; static)
     Active: inactive (dead)```

are you trying to troubleshoot waybar or that systemd unit?

#

is that log even a problem?
systemctl --state=failed

I think i need graphical-session.target active before I keep troubleshooting, because waybar itself is fine, it's the autostarting service that is not working

what is not working exactly?

#

waybar as a systemd unit?

And that dependency is most likely graphical-session.target
