I know enough to be able to fix things and use arch, but something like wayland just seems like too much of a headache to deal with bc I got a bunch of other shit going on rn. I just want my pc to work, look pretty, and idc if the waybar isn't perfect

Kde is a good option in that case. I don't know what wm you use but they are all minimal and requires manual configuration in text files if you want to change or add something
