maybe try install arch the manual way?
iirc it's just get your wifi working, partition the disk, mount them correctly, then install the essentials
sorry for the bad pics but this is the error. i have tried to redownload over 10 times with the same prossess but tweeking things here and there but I dont know what is wrong and how to fix it
try pacstrap manually
pacstrap /mnt $pkgname
what does that do?
but i would recommend you to do a manual installation
is there a good video on that?
just read the wiki and do a manual installation lmao, first time would take ~2.5 hours
learning the process of installing arch would help you when you ran into problems later on
so
most tutorials on yt or other platform are outdated/bad. arch wiki is upto date and covers most issues
In today's comfy guide, Denshi showcases how to install Arch Linux with an encrypted root partition using LUKS.

pacman -Sy archinstall
it will update archinstall
because the package that it's trying to install (xf86-video-vmware) is not in the official repositories anymore
but archinstall doesn't know that yet
so you need to update it
the new iso will come out on July 1st and the issue will be fixed
this worked. thanks ๐

you should pick your video drivers carefully next time though
because you were trying to install video drivers for VMWare as well
