Fatal Grub Error Installing Mint

Hey yall

So I got a fresh flash install of Mint for my laptop. I tried to install it and it was doing all it needed to until I got this error:

executing grub-install /dev/nvme0n1 failed

I’ve turned on UEFI mode through terminal to be sure it’s going.

Turned off Sceure Boot

I’ve reinstalled it to the flash multiple times and nothing is working. Who amongst you will be my knight in shining armor?

If you don’t want this here lmk I’ll delete just trying to find help cause I need my pc to work.

Didn’t know what tag to put this under if you hate me for it you can send me a card with flowers saying you’re sorry.

I'm afraid this could mean literally anything

You could manually install grub with grub-install though

So it gives you an actual error

Not just some vague info

that's only for bios

use the full command present on the wiki

change --efi-directory="esp" to the path of your esp partition

Uh it’s the terminal in the mint flash I got

use the gui installer for mint

but that's literally what they did and it errored out
