...except gparted live works for some reason, both mint and arch iso fail to boot with error "couldn't find/load kernel"
It's kinda my fault cuz I was trying to get zen-kernel to work, but I can't get into the system to fix it like it is now...

The arch iso doesn't use grub but uses syslinux so it's <tab> to see the entry syslinux only on legacy bios boot, not uefi

i plug it in a usb slot, boot into my uefi/bios, disable my normal boot drive or i onetime boot override to boot into iso
