Hi, I'm new to linux and I installed arch using archinstall. I chose the nvidia proprietary drivers (I have an rtx 2060). My question is, on some games, i'm getting like half the fps i used to get on windows. (For example, I was getting ~80fps on cyberpunk, and now i'm getting 45fps at best. Meanwhile on cs2 i get the same fps). Why might that be? Is there something else I need to install?

CS2 has native support for linux while cp2077 does not.
I'm not that much into linux gaming so I can't help you that much
You could try running nvidia-smi to check if your drivers are working properly
I would also suggest that you switched to a gaming-focused linux distro since you are a new user
Thanks for the suggestion, but I figured it out. I was using wayland, i switched to x11 and my fps on cyberpunk is back up to 70-80. For some reason, wayland was really reducing my fps
