#Error on boot
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
That's what I've been doing.
I currently have two EFI partitions, one for my windows and one for my systemd-boot. However in my bios the systemd just won't appear and the system won't load it despite changing the order with efibootmgr
Right now all I really need is to fix my bootloader
omg i fixed it it's been 5 days. turns out i had a minor problem when trying to update libicuuc. i was trying to run pacman -Syu and it refused because of incompatibilities with a yay package, so i just removed that yay package because i didn't care then updated everything but the system crashed halfway and it had only been an issue with libicuuc not being up-to-date
instead of booting from my live stick like a normal person, downloading pacman-static and updating that library, i did a whole bunch of magic commands trying to fix non-existent errors left and right on my system and ended up breaking most stuff
note to self : timeshift can be useful and stop being impatient and plug the computer in before updating 😭
not a bad choice
... solved
