like i said its not working through steam for some reason same thing happened with master duel too

Well, I don't think steam will save it if it's not launched through steam. What I'd do is to launch steam via terminal, then try and launch it. It'll probably fail to run, but it SHOULD give an error in the terminal to fix it.

But also yes, running an .exe in steam using wine won't neccessarily break anything. It's just a bandaid answer instead of fixing the issue

if it does not, change the commandline options of the game in steam to %command% > ~/log.log, put any options that already were there between %command% and >

that will log the launch into ~/log.log
