Hello Everyone. My arch stopped running. When I boot my computer, the grub menu shows up, I hit enter and okay, some texts flows around the screen and after that it's black screen. Nothing. I tried to change tty by clicking Alt+Ctrl+F(something). And I'm in cli login. I logged in and it said Start Hyprland with command Hyprland(and yeah I use hyprland) but then,

Error:i/o timeout

Sorry I can't take screenshots because of knowing reasons.

#

I tried to reboot a few times, but still the same.

Are you using SDDM? It might be an issue with your xorg display server not starting correctly.

Also, hyprland is not a systemd service, so just type hyprland to start it instead of using systemctl.

basically a program that provides an interface for other programs to display things on screen

#

SDDM relies on xorg so if xorg breaks you get a black screen.

#

So you managed to start hyprland but SDDM or xorg is still broken.

#

sudo Xorg -configure should reset your confihuration and possibly fox your black screen issue

#

At least it wont make anything worse as your configuration is mosg likely already broken : P
