#kernel panic with binder
30 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
the weird thing is that the binder_linux kernel module isnt loaded
I could just be misreading the error though
Oh
How do i disable it
The built in one
I dont want the binder kernel module
It causes kernel panics for me
A while back I moved to the zen kernel for binder so i could use waydroid, but then started having kernel panics exactly like this, so i switched back to the main kernel and the issue stopped. Ive been using the main kernel ever since and no issues whatsoever until i updated today
I dont know why, but binder hates me
@slow gulch

not resolved
after doing sudo pacman -Rns binder_linux-dkms, it still happens
how tf do I get rid of the built in binder module
istg its making it impossible to download anything
^
it only happens when downloading large files, and it happens late into the download, for example it happened when updating a large steam game, and it happened when downloading an LLM model file from huggingface through the terminal
I'm so incredibly confused
