arch randomly gets stuck during boot at /dev/sda4 clean

any help is appreciated because i was config-ing post install for about 3 hours, had a normal boot sequence several times, then it started getting stuck

all it does is make the cursor stop blinking

i am dual booting with windows which i suspect to be the culprit im just not sure what exactly it did

is secureboot and fastboot on?

i turn secure boot off to boot into grub

i figured it out

im using wayland and nvidia gpu and never enabled DRM, so i did that and the system booted (YAY!!!) however, now hyprland doesnt start and im having a bunch of driver issues(boooo)

ive been at this for a few hours and i honestly cant take it anymore so im gunna give up and format over my arch partition
