For some reason when I try to install gnome (sudo pacman -S gnome gnome-extras) it installs classic gnome instead.. I think that it's because I installed budgie before but idc how to delete whatever the hell is interfering with me not being able to install normal gnome

Gnome classic is just a different version of gnome, did you try using a different display manager?

nevermind i forgot to remove the gnome session config
