cat /etc/resolv.conf
.
maybe u dont need to
how do u know this isnt fixable without buying an adapter?
can u ping 8.8.8.8?
u can have internet and cant ping google.com
u dont really need a DNS to have internet
did u try to ping 8.8.8.8
?
and what did u got?
it does not need to resolve 8.8.8.8
"nmcli con show"
np, is ur ethernet plugged in?
@dapper niche
try the following:
nmcli con up "Wired connection 1"
@dapper niche
ok
u need a password
i dont think so
i dont think ur mac has changed honestly
not impossible but i dont think so
dont u have the network password?
maybe its ur MAC addr?
anyways u can always try to remove the connection profile and recreate it
with nmcli con delete "Wired connection 1"
Append --ask to the nmcli con up command
So it will ask for the password

Are u running a graphical environment?
Do u use a greeter aka display manager?
... solved
