teamviewer not launching on startup

#

I am trying to make teamviewer launch on startup
I get this every time

#

I have this file and it should do what I want if it wasn't for

#

I want this to not appear

remove the first line. you need root to start the service, as it says. as root, do
systemctl enable teamviewerd
this will make the daemon start automatically on login without the prompt.

I am on endeavourOS

#

I forgot to include that

googling tells me that endeavourOS also uses systemctl to enable services. are you getting an error doing the command or is it a silent failure

... powershell? okay, putting that aside, it looks like it worked. did you remove the first line from your shell script?

#

#

power is just cause idk any terminals and just wanted one with a bit more things

#

#

I will try something

#

I put a 10 second delay and it works

#

greast

#

wow

gilded flume
#

ahah that's a bit funny. that was NOT what I expected to be happening here, but I'm glad it was just a race condition

drowsy fable
#

yea thanks a lot

no problem. didn't mean to give you too much shit for using powershell, sorry bout that lol

drowsy fable
#

startup is like
the first commands or something idk

drowsy fable
#

endeavour os stock terminal and powershell are almost the same
powershell a bit better imo

#

but yea its funny to me how arch linux (and windows users) react to me using powershell on an arch based distro
