@timid swan https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/softethervpn
Is there any simple method to install the app??
@timid swan no?
☝️I got this one
But I don't know how to run that
. install.sh script
Can you teach me ?
Manjaro or arch? Because you say manjaro but you have the arch tag. If it’s manjaro then kindly remove the tag and abide by #readme-support-access
You probably want to install it from the AUR instead
Done
It's not available in both AUR & flatpak
I just linked the one in the aur
I enabled AUR in software center and searched for softether vpn
But found nothing 😕
@timid swan
Idk what to do with that link .
Any suggestions?
you seem to struggle using manjaro therefore I would recommended pop-os instead https://pop.system76.com/
Any benefits of using pop os
Regarding my vpn issue?
it's way easier to use instead of manjaro
Manjaro have all nessesary things baked in
I am familiar with manjaro.
Just only I need that vpn
you are not if you can't install a aur package
So is there any .deb for that vpn?
??
no, you would need to make it
.deb is debian package
Hmm
Windows have simple Softether.exe
But I don't want to use windows anymore 😔
switch to pop-os and all you need to do is just make it
or switch to stock arch for it to be in the aur
He's right
I don’t really recommend using the aur if you use manjaro because manjaro repos are 2 weeks out of date.
But this is definitely something you can install on manjaro if you want to.
If you’re not able to find it you’re simply committing a user error.
To run a program like this based on your screenshot just run it with ./ at the start of the path.
Personally I recommend you install arch vanilla, manually.
@timid swan
Oh and next time we please use the other distros tag for non-vanilla arch.
