Can you plz help
yep
so now u have the windows ESP but its empty right?
cause u deleted all inside it right?
ok so u have it
and c drive is p3
u know u need one ESP per system
i have just deleted the boot folder
ok but then wheres the grub esp part
No I have both in single
yes
despite i recommend u to have two ESPs ill try to help u
since windows is closed the commands to recover ur esp may nuke ur grub files
I dont wanr to reinstall windows
thats why i recommend u to have two esp
i can help u to recover the efi of windows
It fine i will reinstall arch
it is not very diff
no u do not need to
if u want to use two esp which i think is the best u just have to reinstall grub
not the entire system
cause linux is modular
ok
i will try to help with that later if u want
first of all u will need the win install media
to access a win cmd
i have r8 now
https://meroupatate.github.io/posts/bootloader/ have similar issue
During my Arch Linux installation, I accidentally formatted the EFI system partition created by my existing Windows installation and replaced it with a new EFI system that starts Arch Linux using systemd-boot. While my initial goal was to have a Windows 10 / Arch Linux dual boot, I am currently only able to boot under Arch since I deleted my Win...
the diff is that in my cmd prompt diskpart , list disk dont show my ssd
I have opened cmd
Only ny 8gb usb
I dont see that thing in uefi
I mean idk how to see that
check in the disk or storage sections
config
if bad disk protocol is not the issue my only thought is about a driver issue
Its show me System time, system date, wireless LAN, intel vmd controller, graphics devies, intel virtuailaztion technology, intel vt-d feature, intel hyper - threading techanology, bios back flash , hotkey mode, fool proof fn ctrl, Diable building battery, flip to boot, bios self-healing, restore default overclocking
is there any update for ur uefi?
Idk anything about uefi
are u using the win10 install media or the win11 one
windows 11
try to use the latest one
home
ok right
i think this is a driver issue
cause diskpart should list all the disks fine
i was able to see that ssd before a moment i made this accident
try to chkdsk /f /r
i have run the diskpart for deleting grub folder inside windows
one moment
the type of the file system is NTFS.
cannot lock current drive
Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected
wait a min
try to type C: then enter
to see if it moves to the local disk at least
anyways if it still being undetected try to use win10 install media
to see if it works
if it still not detecting ur disk i would suggest to use the win10 install media
ok
to see if it works yk
but will it be fine to use win 10 for win 11 ?
One of my friend recommended me to go with sergio strelec boot media
Can you help me with that
i do not know anything about that so i cannot help with it
it should, since the bcdboot command just copies boot files and creates the boot entry
but dont proceed if u want to stay safe
this is the only thing that comes to my mind since ur error is strange as fuck
i think it could be a driver issue
I m able to access ssd before i deleted folder manually
What?
the tutorial u followed that made u unable to acess the disk in diskpart
Its this one
wasnt it a youtube video?
