Not sure what to put here, I want it for the easy wallpaper engine usage, but not sure how I'd go about doing this

isn't kororebi a completely different thing than wallpaper engine

Komorebi is an animated wallpaper manager for all Linux platforms.

which... isn't wallpaper engine?

north orchid

it's the same thing

It's not that, it's that there are specific wallpapers on wallpaper engine I want to use

im fairly certain there just isn't a way yet

Indeed

but KDE runs very slow for me, and the wallpapers are pretty much the only thing I want from it, so thats why i'm wondering if i can get only them, and build the rest of the DE myself

i have a feeling they might be hardwired to kwin, but i'll have to check

Thanks, if it is, I'll just have to see if I'm able to use that on its own w/o tanking my performance

#

That or I try get the other wallpaper engine port working, but I don't think that one works as well

twin bear
#

like, the kde one

#

i dont think it will work without kde

#

since it was made as a kde plugin

flat saddle
#

yeah

#

it's just that i dont see why it would need anything kde related other than the wallpaper

#

it's like, that or i just keep swapping parts of kde till its just the wallpaper left, but i dont think that would be as efficient

twin bear
#

tell me if you get to anything working like that lmao

flat saddle
#

well i dont know how i'd do that lol, so i might just have to try getting the standalone port working

#

because like, i dont know what else i'd need from KDE, as it's just so slow for me, and even if switching the WM to openbox fixes that, i still dont see much point of having kde installed
