the lenovo logo stopped showing on boot, i reinstalled arch later on and still had this issue
i followed the silent boot instructions on the arch wiki to no success
/sys/firmware/acpi/bgrt/ has the acpi logo in it
im using unified kernel image with systemd-boot, using systemd init
#lenovo logo not showing on boot

at what point is it supposed to show?
from the fact that you have /sys/firmware/acpi/bgrt and i don't, most likely during the boot process itself on a uefi system
you could try adding fbcon=nodefer to your kernel options
wont this prevent the logo from showing?
it doesnt work
the logo should show right when arch starts booting
well, the other option is using plymouth and giving it a theme that shows your OEM's logo
i have the linux.preset file pointing to /sys/firmware/acpi/bgrt/image as the splash image for now
