#A error when installing nvidia drivers
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
are you connected to the internet, have you tried new mirrors?
how do i try new mirrors?
do you have reflector installed?
also how is this both arch and other distro?
is this arch or not?
nevermind i reinstalled my mirrors thru endeavoros.
i am using endeavoros
I don't understand why you have the arch tag if it's not arch
#readme-support-access very clearly details that you can't use the arch tag for non-arch, including derivatives, did you not read it?
mb i removed it. I didn't mean to click it.
the updated mirrors working for you?
not yet it gave me an error which told me to basically update my aur
is this important?
what kernel are you using?
6.8.1-arch
just the package
like if it's lts, or zen, or tkg, you need nvidia-dkms
well nvidia-lts if it's lts, but other 2 or other custom is dkms
if it's just standard you can use just the nvidia package
i did pacman for nvidia and now it seems installed. do i restart?
did it trigger dracut?
do you have a hook for nvidia
.aw nvidia
yes
then yeah, as long as dracut managed to finish sucessfully, you can probably restart
did you install other things like nvidia-utils?
