@inner pond disable secureboot/fastboot into your bios
if for some reason you still need it, you will need to install sbctl pacman -S sbctl then follow the upstream instructions https://github.com/Foxboron/sbctl?tab=readme-ov-file#key-creation-and-enrollment to enable it, then re enable it in your bios.
It didn't work ,I already had secureboot disabled and changed my settings to fastboot this time
@inner pond show every bios setting please
Also this is what I see before I got the issue:
Do you mean the live install is messed up? Use ventoy or check the hash for the iso since it’s corrupt
I don't think it's corrupt
Well it’s not copying to RAM
It doesn’t hurt to check the hash and it’s really simple
Up to you, no one here will try to troubleshoot the iso itself
I mean I can check the hash, but I was basing myself on that I did find the vmlinuz in the USB
But won't hurt to check, like you said.
How did you download the iso and do let us know if you check the hash, if the hash is all good then maybe try reflashing the usb. If possible a different usb.
Also what software and OS are you flashing using
the hash checks out( i downloaded via torrent, used rufus toget the iso onto the usb(on windows 10)
Try reflashing it and use something that isn’t rufus?
Tries Ventoy, just killed my USB , I'm going to switch out the usb
@inner pond define kills
it crashed and didnt even finish creating the bootable usb ,
like i can format it using rufus and try again but ventoy just wont finished creating the boootable usb
it stops at like 40ish percent and goes back to 12 and doesnt finish
and last night it worked ok until i accidentally disconnected the usb
I'll try again with a new usb because obviously something is wrong with the one im using
