I’m confused, if it’s installed why isn’t it saying it’s installed when you try to update it…what happens with an -Syu?

ok i fixed it in a really stupid way um i just removed the files lol
and was able to update mkinitcpio and build
complete system upgrade and reboot

That was going to be my suggestion but I was going to try and find the reason for this happening in the first place first XD

it was because of the recent mkinitcpio changes
also im using lvm2 on encrypted luks root which complicates things

Would expect it to effect more people, but oh well, I’ll see if it effects my system soon
